Blinking lights that move toward us then up and slowly faded.

Three of us were outside visiting at the cabin, Annandale, MN, my husband (financial advisor), sister in law (product marketing) myself (insurance broker). It looked like a spaceship launch at first just over the house looking out towards Clearwater lake from cedar lake. I pointed it out thinking it might be a shooting star. It went straight up and then began moving toward us.

It was strange how it moved toward us but at the same time we couldn’t tell exactly how close it was? It was much lager than a plane maybe half the length of a football field? The lights seemed to strobe in a pattern like glitter. It seemed to be just over the neighbors house and then it went up just above the Big Dipper slowly.

The lights fizzled out after about two minutes of us watching it. As it it slowly disappeared. So we all thought it was gone but as I looked at the spot that we “watched it disappear” we realized it was indeed stil there. Faint, but still there. It looked like a faint star but then would pulsate light faintly in the same pattern and approximately the same size as what we saw. Just above the Big Dipper, it did eventually move slowly away from the Big Dipper at about 11:45 and then I went to bed at midnight.

Red and white lights appear out of cloaking the size of a small house, spinning and the white lights being stretched around the craft multiple times like a tornado of multiple white light trails, completely quiet swooping upward showing a triangle shaped 1 orb in front 2 in back, 3 big orbs of white light, moving on a gyro path arcing upward in the heavy rain before vanishing and reappearing multiple times but keeping a less than a mile distance, appearing lighting up and spinning when i point at it, seemed to communicate or react with my thoughts. i had no camera on me to capture it

Observed two stationary bright lights which began moving very slowly upward

I woke early and looked out at the night sky to watch the early dawn arrive. Instead, I saw two bright lights, one above and larger than the other. The lights appeared to be stationary. I watched for about 15 minutes, then left to make coffee.

I returned to the window and the lights had moved upward. I returned to my computer to make a report, which I have never done before. I returned to the window and the lights had again moved upward. They are still present, but as the sky lightens, they are harder to see. The lights are South of my house, unobserved from the North. The lights move together as if part of an object. I did not see a physical object, just lights.

Fairfax, Annandale, VA - Black silhouette cigar / disk-like object w/rounded - blunted ends w/rotating & synced strobe lights.

I was driving west on Route 236 Little River Turnpike heading towards the City of Fairfax. It was about 15 to 20 minutes past sunset.

As I was approaching the intersection of Route 236 & Pickett Rd, I noticed at my 10 o'clock position, about a quarter of a mile away, a black silhouette outline of a cigar/disk-like object with rounded or blunted ends, flying slowly about 300 to 500 feet above the tree line.  

The object was approx. 120 to 160 feet in length (5 to 6 single-family houses in length) and about 30 to 50 feet height at the thickest point at it's center, traveling in a Northeast to Southwest direction. What seemed unusual was it's slow speed (about 120 to 150 mph) and it's relatively low altitude above the tree line.  

Also, there where 4 or 6 white strobe lights on the outer edges of the black silhouette cigar/disk-like object w/rounded / blunted ends and the strobe lights were evenly spaced at both ends and at the top and bottom edges near the ! center of the object, all blinking in unison and sometimes blinking in a counter-clockwise rotating pattern. 

There were regular jet aircraft easily identifiable flying high above in the vicinity.

We were driving on Hamden Rd in Annandale at 9:30 pm, saw what looked like a fire surrounded by a round shape, it was low and moving slow, we stopped the car, got out, no sounds, it moved slowly for a few seconds then moved away fast, we saw the same thing about two weeks ago, again on a clean night.

Two distant orange lights hover, move slowly, maneuver, then disappear.

A party of approximately 10 people were enjoying an evening at a cabin on the east side of nearby Cedar Lake, approximately 3 miles east of Annandale, MN. We were launching small fireworks from the dock, facing West. There were very few clouds at the time.

Someone called our attention to a pair of lights approximately 3 miles West by Southwest over the vicinity of Annandale. At first, the objects appeared to be landing lights of approaching aircraft. However, the objects were orange in color, had no other lighting (no markers or strobes), appeared about 400ft apart, held an elevation of approximately 2000ft, and did not seem to move. The object to the south appeared about 100ft lower than its companion, at an approximate elevation of 1900ft.

Minutes later, both objects began slowly moving South. Both objects maintained their brilliance as they moved, suggesting that their light was shining in all directions. (An airplane's landing light should have dimmed slightly if it changed direction.) At this point, I decided to film what I could of the event using my Google G1 cell phone camera. Unfortunately, the camera requires ample light to work correctly, and the objects were too distant against the night sky.

The southern object traveled somewhat faster than its companion, a distance of about 1000ft, then stopped and hovered again, partially obscured by a cloud. Then, it slowly sank in elevation about 50ft, then seemed to disappear instantly.

The northern object traveled South about 1000ft towards its companion, maintaining altitude, never changing course or speed. It became obscured behind the same cloud as its companion. It did not re-appear from the other side of the cloud.

The resulting footage shows approximately 5 seconds of the northern object, but it appears only a few pixels wide. The audio contains brief commentary by myself and one other eyewitness during the event.

star like light that moved and changed directions in hunterdon county, NJ

last night march 31,2010 around 9pm, me and my friends wife went outside to walk their dog, and as soon as we walked out the front door i looked up and seen a light really high up in the sky. It look like it was just as far as the stars and also looked like a star, but then it started to move slowly to the south for about a minute and then it just stopped and just hovered for about another min then it started to move south again for about 30 seconds, then it just totally changed direction and then was moving to the north at a very high speed for about 20 or 30 seconds, and then i just lost it and couldnt spot it anymore so then me and my friends wife went back inside... then about 10min later i went out my friends back door into the back yard and looked to the north where i last seen the star like light then i spotted it again for about 20 seconds then it was gone.

A circular, rotating amber light decended and disappeared. Then the same light later ascended.

A circular-rotating amber light decended in the sky and eventually flickered and disappeared a few hundred feet off of the ground leaving black smoke where it disappeared.

Almost an hour later, the same amber light was seen ascending into the sky in a different direction, but this time, the light was not rotating.

weird round silver sphere like object but not a perfect sphere!

On the way to the banl I had seen a large very reflective silver or metal looking ball in the sky. I thought it was a balloon but it had no basket and was not shaped like a balloon. I drove a bit faster through some tree overhang and by the time I got into the clear looking in the same direction it was gone. I don't believe in UFO's but I think I had seen something that I'm not use to seeing in broad day light around 6 or 7 pm.

Low flying kite shaped object with very faint lights evenly spaced from the tip and along the tail.

strangest thing I've ever seen in the night sky.

I'm an amateur astronomer and was out looking for Leonid meteors, when I caught a very faint object approaching from the NW and moving to the SE.

At first I thought it was a very thin and long cloud, but as it came overhead I noticed a more chevron shaped "head" with a long tail...much like a traditional kite. The really odd thing was there were very faint pinpoint lights (the magnitude of average stars seen from a suburban location) evenly spaced along the entire length.

As it moved from directly overhead I thought it might be a very low flying cargo plane or something, but it made no sound at all and there were no flashing/colored navigation lights.

Like I said, the strangest thing I've ever seen in 30 years of star gazing.

Very bright white light speeding down HWY94 low in the sky, outside minneapolis on 3/19/05 10:45 pm

We were driving west on hwy 94, lots of traffic for a saturday night. We were coming home from a family birthday party and our kids were in the car behind us. Out of nowhere, coming from behind us and swooping over us was this incredibly bright white light moving silently past us. It was so white that I remember thinking that the on-coming head lights looked like a dull yellow. I have seen what looked like falling stars in the past, but this wasn't like that. It came right over us and everyone else on the freeway at that time.There was no noise. We called our kids in the car behind us right away and they too were in total amazement. It flew or glided horizontally unbelievably fast and when it reached the horizon you could see colors below it. I don't know how high it was, but if the IDS building were standing in the middle of the freeway, it would have smashed into it. What was it that we saw? and why didn't it hit the news? scary stuff

Falling bright white object seen over Annandale, VA. area night of 11\9\02. WHO ELSE SAW IT!!??

Between 12:30am and 12:45am, not sure of exact time, I saw what looked like a shooting star in the area of Annandale, VA. The strange thing was that it wasn't "shooting", it was "falling" vertically down towards the ground. I saw it for no more than 4 to 5 seconds. It was bright white as a star, but became visible at a certain piont in the sky and faded out at a certain point. It was no longer visible a few hundred feet from the ground. The white light went out. I ask that anyone who was in the Annandale area of Virginia, and think they saw something similar late Sat. night, 11\9\02, to file a report on this website.

two bright blinking lights

As I was driving home at about 10:20 pm I noticed two bright blinking lights in the south west section of the sky. The lights were too far away from each other to be on one airplane but they seemed connected to each other. The lights seemed to move sort of erratically around and it seemed that the distance between them would vary. This lasted for about two minutes then they got too far away to see. I recall the lights being red, white and maybe green and there was no noise. It all happend too quickly to remember exactly what it looked like but it was vary strange.

As I drove my car up driveway, then I turned my car engine off. Suddenly, the light inside my car turned on. I looked up in the sky and suddenly saw very very bright light object (right side) behind the tree near my car.. That tree blocked my view from seeing it, but it SPED sooooo fast! It was not a fireball or meteor or falling star. I was stunned and was terrified since I never saw it before..I normally see falling stars but not like that before. The strange thing was before I saw very very light object, I had weird dreams two times about seeing very beautiful flying saucers flying around my house!

Late summer 1985 large object hovering over Annandale NY

Saw craft while sitting in rear passenger seat while driving over Kingston/Rhinecliff bridge at end of summer 1985. Kept track of craft while in rear passenger seat for 2 miles. Pulled into driveway and parked on top of hill. 3 people exited car. I ran inside to get videocamera. Videocamera had dead battery. Grabbed father to view craft. 4 of us stod silently as craft slowly and silently moved west of Red Hook over Annandale to Hudson River and began moving South over river.

Craft was bulky oval in shape. With 1 row of yellowed lights, several brighter whiter lights and smaller encircling set of reddish lights.
