Green lights cycle through patterns

Observed a line of lights and first thought it was star link. Lights did not move but instead pulsed. Noticed more pulsing lights around line of lights. Once line disappeared several red and green lights appeared closer to horizon. Shined extremely bright and then switched back to line formation higher in the sky. This cycle went on for over and hour and was visible during a thunderstorm. I do have decent video evidence. And I am also observing the same line of lights 36 hours later during clearer sky’s, no red lights this evening but they are pulsing green in a triangle formation 10-15 visible lights

48 hours later and I notice these lights are back. This time only green lights are present. The reds are not there. It is not cycling through any pattern tonight but instead pulsing from low light to bright light and then off. The formation starts with a line of 4-5 cluster together higher in the sky and then from there working down a scatter of lights equidistant apart creating a large triangle. Sky is currently lightening due to sun rise but I can still see them flashing and will be able to until sun lights prevents their visibility. The direction these lights are seen is up over the Ohio River near fourteen mile creek, a rural area with no lights or evening activity as it is a national park. The longevity of this activity eliminates drone possibility and noted there are no green light cell towers in that area.

I saw a hazy glowing light fly over me making no sound it was a clear night yet the light was like hazy like when it's foggy

I was outside watering my lawn when I looked up and noticed this craft with hazy lights coming from it. The lights looked like it was foggy day but it wasn't, it was a clear night . I know it wasn't a rocket from vandenburg airforce base. I watch the launches all the time and rocket trajectories are not in the same area of the sighting. So I thought maybe ISS but when I looked up it's location it was not it. And it wasn't starlink either. I took video of it on my phone.

Observed while driving westbound on CT Route 4 at the intersection of East St North, black cylindrical-shaped object, completely still.

I was driving westbound on Route 4 in Goshen, passing by where Route 4 intersects with East Street North, I looked over to my right out of my vehicle's front passenger-side window, when I observed an all-black, cylindrical-shaped object motionless in the sky. The object appeared to be hovering over the area of the Ivy Mountain Farm on Hageman Shean Road, in Goshen. I expected it to be a bird, and was expecting the object (what I assumed was a bird initially) to circle, or at the least fly away. This did not happen, the object remained completely still, in the sky, for more than 5 seconds as I was passing by. I did not observe any motion, such as the flapping of wings. The object appeared to be at a low altitude, however I can't provide a very accurate estimation of altitude. If I had to provide an estimate, I would say probably ~500 feet above ground level. My next guess was a drone, however, from the distance at which I spotted it, the object was too large to be a drone, even a large commercial model of drone. The object did not have any flashing lights either, and was a deep black color. I did not observe any rotors or mechanical parts. Weather conditions were fair, with good visibility. Cloud coverage was between scattered and overcast. The temperature was around 70 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of my sighting. I did not note, or visually observe wind speed or direction. Due to the fact that I was driving with the windows down, I did not hear any noises or sounds from the craft, and unfortunately because I was driving to an appointment, I wasn't able to stop and take any photographs. I returned through the area, the same route, on my way back about 45 minutes later, and the object was no longer there. I checked FlightRadar very briefly about 2 minutes after the sighting, and there were no known aircraft at that location matching the description.

Walked out of my house in the country, and seen a ball if light.

It was lower than normal for anything which would make sense to see in the sky, and it was far enough away you couldn't see the shape but just the colors of blinking lights which had Green, red, and white lights blinking.

It hovered for over couple of hours from what I seen.

And moved slowly left to right up and down.

I then looked around and seen another light that wasn't a star toward Northeast which was the front of my house.

This light was far away as well.

You could see the colors like the one that was off to the side of my house.

Both did the same things they hovered and I watched off and on and tried to take pics and videos with my phone.

And that was hard enough to zoom in and focus on them and see the different colors.

You could see the different colors with your eyes, but it was hard with my camera phone.

Multiple large bright objects in western sky

At first as we were driving home we noticed a triangular formation of bright orange lights. One was cigar shaped, the other two were circular. One of the circular ones started to alternate between circular and cigar shaped. It was almost like it was accelerating then decelerating, but it was very difficult to notice the transition as it was happening. After a few more minutes several more lights appeared in the sky with the same orange-ish cast to them. They seemed like really bright stars, but we've ever seen any stars that large before. They must have been pretty far away, or very high up in the sky because as the earth rotated away from the sun we started to lose sight of the lights as they dipped lower and lower into the horizon. The final lights we saw appear were very distinctly cigar shaped and almost seemed like comets. Not sure if it was simply sunlight reflecting off some phenomena in the atmosphere or what. Definitely a strange sight to behold. It was hard to tell if they were moving because they were so far away they almost looked stationary.

My fiancee took a photo but her camera was not able to distinguish the objects very clearly.

Object appeared star like but bulkier with of/on colored lights, primarily red/ some green, blue

Husband looks at stars off back deck of our house while smoking approx. 10:30. Saw object we had seen a previous year. It was like looking at a star, but bulkier, and on and off lights. It constantly moved very fast: up, down, crossways, very fast, but always in same general area, and mostly straight lines. A bare tree in our vision line gave us way of judging scaled distance it would move.

We've seen it twice this week, and once a couple years ago. We aren't looking for unusual objects, just hard not to see it. We see it with our eyes, no special equipment, as if viewing stars, etc. My husband did use his binoculars once and could see the lights more vivid. My poor description would simply be a star with bulky shape and lights and constantly shooting in all directions, very rarely disappearing from sight. Watched approx. 1/2 hr, but was still very active.

Unexplained lights and shape in the night sky seemingly paralleling an aircraft.

My girlfriend saw what started as an unusual light in the night sky. It was observed for aprox 30 min then noticed an aircraft overhead. Object then became bright, then dimmed to reveal a shape of an inverted wye. Then object became illuminated again moving to the left on the horizontal seemingly paralleling the aircraft and mimicking the strobe pattern of the aircraft.

She then lost sight of the aircraft (plane) and the object was seen doing circular motions and then vanished to the right in the night sky. There is mention of hearing the actual aircraft (plane) overhead but nothing for the "object" and we had another sighting on sat 09/13/14 at aprox 2130 hrs as a blinking light white,red,green all at the same time from an object at a great distance. Object seemed to move within the same area for an extended amount of time before it not seen again.

I almost called the PD to ask if there was helicopter traffic over Middletown but didn't want to come off as a freak.

While watching fireworks, my husband and I had seen what we thought was a satellite with a blue, unblinking light going from the south to the north.

We watched it for a moment, then continued to watch more fireworks.

Then there was another light, and another, and another, they just kept coming!!!!

Then about 30 minutes after the first light appeared, one had appeared going from the north to the south... The OPPOSITE direction of the others!!!!!

It got really bright for about 3 seconds, as if it entered the earth's atmosphere, then went back up and disappeared.

All of them were blue, and ALL of them moved very slowly...

Much slower than any airplane or satellite I have ever seen.

2 people saw 12 orange objects in the sky over Goshen Indiana @10:15-11:30 on July 3rd moving north to south

my dad and I saw 12 orange lights moving north to south over Goshen Indiana. It was approx. 10:15 pm-11:30pm on July 3rd. They were not all at the same time although a few were fairly close together. They would come from the north and go south and after a few minutes just disappear. They were NOT airplanes nor fireworks, they moved in a horizontal motion only. We could not tell what shape they were -it was too dark, but they were bright orange in color. No drugs or drinking was involved.

My 80 yr. old dad and I -I'm 52- both witnessed them. It was the most interesting & bizarre thing I have ever seen.

Couple sees slow-moving, large, rectangular object in the night sky as it flies directly over them.

One clear, rather bright (it was around summer time) night, my girlfriend and I witnessed something neither of us will likely ever forget. It was a typical night for us; we had just gone out to dinner and returned to her house at around 9:00PM. Getting out of my car, my girlfriend pointed out what she thought was a crop duster in the distance to me. We stood in her driveway just staring at the thing for quite a while as it flew in our direction. As it got a bit closer, we realized something rather important: it wasn't making any sound, and crop dusters are fairly noisy machines (not to mention crop dusters do not typically operate at night). As it slowly came closer, we continued hypothesising what in the world it could be. At one point, I even said "it looks like a helicopter flying sideways or something", to which my girlfriend replied "yeah, but I don't see any blades, and it isn't loud". She had a good point there, a helicopter would have been rather deafening, but it was still across the street quite a distance from us at that point, so I figured there was still a chance it would be louder when it got closer. Eventually, the thing flew directly over our heads only roughly 100ft from the ground. Despite being in such a close proximity to us, the craft made only a very low, very quiet humming sound and produced no wind-- it just sort of glided over us at a very constant, very slow speed. Whatever this object was, it was perfectly rectangular in shape, very thin-looking in proportion to its width, and had two equidistant white lights (one on each side of the craft) which faced forward rather than downward almost like circular car headlights. Sadly, the thought to take a picture or video of this thing did not even cross our minds until after it had disappeared behind her house. I know this sounds crazy, but we honestly did not even think to get any form of evidence of this thing as it was in our sight (plus, it was at night, so any picture or video would probably have looked like a dark blur anyway).

I am not claiming that this was uncountably an alien UFO, but whatever it was, we saw it. We saw what we saw, and nothing can change that. It was amazing, it was breathtaking, and for some reason we were completely unafraid.

My wife and I were in the pool in the backyard. We were commenting on how we could see the milky-way that night.

I noticed a shadow pass in front of the stars. I asked my wife if she could see what I saw.

The shadow appeared to be triangular in shape and had a faint florescent green light in the center and the same color halo around it.

From it traveled from the south horizon to the north horizon in approximately 45 seconds.

There was no sound and no other indicators of the object other then visual.

Looked to be red with single white light. Single file formation, with first three evenly spaced with one about 10 seconds behind. Heading east away from Louisville, possibly following Ohio River. 2-3 bright lights suspended a couple hundred feet over the farms.

Heading west on Pumpkin Swamp Road I noticed two bright lights several hundred feet over the farms west of Pulaski Hwy. I have lived here for eight years and know that there are no antennas in the area. The area is composed of flat, open farmland.

As I approached the stop sign I opened my car window to hear if they might have been helicopters. No such luck. The lights appeared to be bigger than a car. Upon closer inspection the objects showed no motion other than spinning. There was vertical or horizontal movement. I kept going home and told my wife who was leaving for work at the time. About fifteen minutes later she calls up and confirms they are still there and indeed are spinning. Furthermore, she spotted a third one further down doing the same thing.

Have been trying to rationalize it but I can't come up with an explanation. Weather conditions were cloudy with lightning in the distance.

Bright round light in sky moving slowly

It was in the day time around 4.00 p.m. it was not cloudy clear sky i looked up and saw a slow moving light. it was moving very slowly almost like in slow motion. it moved not in a straight motion but kind of like in a side to side motion (jig jag) and in short close movements. it looked like it took a second before each time it would move. it was round in shape and bright like a light bulb. There was only one. i watched it for about 45 to 60 minutes until the tree i was under blocked the view. when i moved to look for it in the sky it was gone. a few seconds later i saw several jets flying over the same area where the object was. It was not a small object. it did not glow but stood just a bright light.

8 lights, performing differrent formations, then dissapearing

we had just got off work at 10pm, we left the parking lot and headed down pectora drive where we first saw 3 red bold lights in a triangle formation. as we turned onto Chelsie St. we then saw 2 more of the same lights apear out of the sky, then 3 more of the same lights followed, the first 3 lights hovered in one spot and waited for the other 5 lights to catch up, when all 8 lights were together they then formed a curved line. all the lights seemed to have a redish haze around them. we stop at the stop sign and put our heads out the window to listen for sounds. we heard nothing. as we turned right on Beck drive, the lights then formed 1 massive "V" formation, then split up into pairs after 3-4 minutes. as they split up into pairs , 2x2 they vanished into the night sky. what struck me the most was that there we plenty of planes around with blinking lighs but none of them could fit the description of the 8 lights

The craft glowed a bright white and it was still daylight.

I was walking down the Rd,and looked up and saw an oblong cylinder like object that was moving at a fast speed. The object made no noise or any sounds at all,unlike conventional aircraft or jets or a helicopter.

What really made me decide it was a ufo was that it glowed a bright white. I walked down the road staring at it until it was out of site, then I turned around and walked back approximatly an eighth of a mile and saw it again in the other direction for about one minute,then the craft was gone over the horizen.

The second time I saw the craft a prop engine plane flew by in the other direction,making clear in my mind that the object in question was nothing I had ever saw,so therefore I was prompted to file this report.

Several sequencing lights appeared over a vast part of the southern sky from right outside the Goshen, Indiana area

Husband’s statement: On the night of Wednesday, July 24, 2008, at 10:15; My wife and I witnessed a series of red-colored lights appear in the sky from our home, outside the Goshen, Indiana area. From our field of view, the lights first started to appear in the south-south-west area of the sky. I first witnessed two lights that where bigger then the stars around them. One of the lights were red, the second slightly above the first was white. They disappeared a few seconds after I saw them, then 5 degrees west, another red light appeared stationary like the first two and then faded out remaining in the same position. These first lights looked like they were several miles away and were fairly low in the southern horizon. I then told my wife, who was standing with me, that I thought there was something odd going on in the sky and motioned her to see. We then witnessed two more red lights appear, and then disappear, in a relative similar position to the first sighting . Less than a minute later ten red lights appeared in a sequence at an exact 45 degree angle. Then two more lights appeared at a 45 degree angle away from the previous angle still in sequence with the other angle. For 15 more minutes I had numerous red lights appear in the sky from south-south-west positions to south-west-west positions of the sky. The lights appeared to be many miles away.

Wife’s statement: We saw an amazing, unexplainable, display of lights. Lights were appearing and disappearing all over the sky. We even saw weird light patterns. All this transpired about 15 minutes or so.

A few orange flying ovals appear for four minutes after a fireworks show.

A large group of people attended an afternoon picnic at a golf course to celebrate the fourth of July. It was Sunday. Later that night, a fireworks show was presented. About a minute after the finale we saw a couple of fireballs. We thought they were part of the fireworks, but they lasted for about four minutes. Other witnesses jokingly exclaimed that they were UFO's, but no one really cared. I only noticed one but three more appeared, one after another. They were orange colored and it seemed to "twinkle" as well. Their shapes were simple ovals. They seemed to move slowly towards us, but they didn't get any bigger. Near the fourth minute, they turned to the left (west) until they faded. I only noticed 4 of the ovals, but there could have been more due to trees in the way. My guess on their location when they first appeared would be about five miles east from dunlap and disappeared in the Dunlap area.

Magenta Triangular phenomenon!

I had just put my baby down for the night and had gone out for a well deserved cigarette. I was looking up at the sky towards the orion constellation and what should appear but a triangular object moving through the sky with the appearance of purple waves. It is very hard to explain but the colors were of a magenta hue, and looked as if one was pushing an object through water on the surface and created a ripple effect with purple or magenta waves! It was not moving very fast at first, but then disappeared from sight!

I don't know what it was, but we watched for 2 hrs! I can't wait to see if it happens again tonight!

last night i glanced out the window and thought i saw a star blinking slowly, then i looked closer and realized it wasn't a star. i called my husband into the room to have a look too, we though oh, it must be a plane, but it didn't look like a plane, then i said maybe it's a helicopter, we went outside, but there was no sound, we shoulve have heard something if it were a helicopter. i called a friend who lives down the road and told her to look out the window. she did and saw the same thing. it looked like it was coming closer, then started flashing different colors, but always staying a bright white as well. we watched it for an hour and an half, then it started moving away...it took 30 mins more before the light just disappeared... during the time we watched it, it didn't move much, just stayed in the same place. we both wanted to report it, but didn't know who to call, we didn't want to sound crazy, i'm convinced that we saw something. what can stay in the same place for that long. it didn't flash all the time, only part of the time and sometimes looked like it was spinning. we compared it to other planes that we say in the sky, this was way brighter and didn't blink like the plane lights. we also know that it was too low to be a star and they don't flash like disco balls. i am convinced that we saw something. something that i will never forget. i just want to know what it was!!! the only my friend and i could keep saying was i wish the cameras were working...why don't we have telescopes, and i'm out of tape for the camcorder! how great is that! the strangest thing we've ever seen in our lives and have nothing to back it up with. aggghhhh, not fair! i'm going to watch all night, maybe it will come back, why would something stay here for so long? i live in the country, field behind my house, but still....so many questions and no answers!

I spotted an orb heading NE,electric blue with a white ring around it.. It quickly dissappeared behind the clouds.

I was headed North on Hicks Rd. turning left (West) on Firetower Rd and spotted a bright light (orb) headed northeast and it quickly dissappeared behind light cloud cover.

It was round with an electric blue core surrounded by a white light.The size was approximately the size of a Cessna 172 from wing tip to wing tip flying at approx 150 knots just above the clouds..

I pulled over as quickly as I could.. approx 10 secs.. Jumped out to get another look but did not see it again. I saw no structure,only a light. There was no sound, trail, tail or anything that would easily explain this object to me.

I have been Running a paper route for 4 years and have seen it all, or so I thought.Has anyone else seen or reported this in my area???

Close up encounter.

I was mowing grass in my back yard when I observed an object about 1 quarter mile away swinging back and further in the air. There is a small lake in that area and it appeared to be directly over it. I thought it was someone flying a large kite at first so I didn't think much of it and kept mowing the grass.

I made several more passes around the back yard when I noticed it was much closer and over the top's of the trees by the lake. If it was a kite it would have been tangled in the trees at that point. I began to think it was a small plastic kids' swimming pool that the wind had picked up and it was swaying back and forth in the air....but there was no wind that day. I took several more passes around the yard on the tractor when I noticed it was much closer now and was past the trees heading straight in my direction. I stopped the tractor and got off and tried to make sense of what I was seeing. I was trying to guess if it maybe an ultra lite but it was swinging 30 feet side to side so it could'nt have been that. I realized at that point that it must be a UFO and ran inside the house to find our camera. I searched all over the house for the camera but could not find it. I went back outside and the object was about 300 feet from the house at this point. I ran to the neighbors houses on both sides on mine to try to get a witness but they were all at work. I went back into the house and got the binoculars my wife watches birds with and got a good look at the craft. I observed it fly directly over my next door neighbors house which is only 25 feet from my house and it was only about 40 to 50 feet in the air. It did not make any noise at all and I got a real good look at it with the binoculars since I was only 50 feet away from it. It was dull silver in color, about 30 feet from tip to tip and about 20 feet from nose to tail. It was about 4-5 feet thick and had a black cockpit bubble on top like where a pilot would sit. I did not see any seams in the metal or any writing on it. After it past ! me I cou ld see the back of the craft which was concave and had what looked to be black slats where the propulsion system would be. After it past me it tipped up to a 45 degree angle and started heading up and started going faster. I watched it for another 1 minute as it stated speeding away. I was watching it with the binoculars so it must have gone at least 40-50 miles in 1 minute before I coundn't see it any more. When I first observed the craft above the lake to the time it got to above my neighbors' house took 10-14 minutes so it was moving forward at less speed that I could have casually walked the same distance. I have never seen anything before or after this time that I would classify as a UFO. I was a Military Policeman in the Army for 9 years and also worked for a company after I got out of the military which made top secret parts for the military such as the stealth fighter and bomber and I know my aircraft. As for my Carmera tha dayI found out that my wife had taken it to ! work for employee appreciation day to take pictures for their in house news letter. I have not reported this incident until now because I had no proof of the encounter. That's my story.

It could of been space debrise but you never know.., It looked like a star, must have been some place in the lower orbit of earth..the lower orbit of

orange ball of light moving fast - 1 hour north of NYC - lasted only 1-2 secs before it disappeared - no engine noise !

ok guys, I'm not exactly sure what this was since it was kind of fast, and took me by surprise, but here it goes: About 10:30pm coming home from home depot, was standing in my driveway taking in the quietness and the clear, cold night. I looked down my street ( I live in a small village about 1 hr north of NYC at the foot of the catskill mountains). All of a sudden I saw an orangish(?) ball of light go from left to right across my street. It was pretty fast, but from what I can recall it seemed to be about 100 feet over the rooftops and I would guess about 200 feet away, but the distance could have been deceptive. It seemed to be about the size of a basketball. It vanished about 1-2 secs later behind the house on the other side of the street. There DEFINATELY was no sound of engines. I'm not really sure if I want to call the police and ask if anyone else had seen anything. They'll think I'm nuts ! I would love to know if anyone else had seen anything. I'm not sure if it was Fri or Sat night , but it was before the recent snowstorm.

Dark object flying around sky.

I was sitting in my bedroom watching tv when I noticed a flash from outside my window. I got up to check it and I could see nothing for about 2 minutes. I saw another flash to the east. It took me a while to notice that the stars there were disappearing in order like something was flying over them. The thing looked about as big as a private jet. I got my sister and she agreed that it was not a normal aircraft. I watched the thing for about a half hour, and it flashed about every 2 to 5 minutes. It flashed at about 11:10 and then seemed to fly straight up into the sky. It disappeared. The whole event seemed to occur about a half mile south of my apartment. I sent an image that I captured with my digital camera.

Strang firery object falls over north east Vermont

A freind and I had been out to balm fire up in the Goshen area of Vermont. About 20 miles south west of the Apaltion trail. As we headed for the car I looked to the north east and saw a fire ball apear in the sky. This thing was way off in the distanc and was visable only for a short time. I said to paul do you see that and he turnd in the direction i was looking and said yup. Just as he turnd to look i held my fist up in front of me and in line with the object and i could still the fir ball around it. it developed two destinct streems of fire or vaper around the back end. this was the coolest thing i have ever seen, but not the only.

A light that approximated a full moon in appearance above the tops of tress that are approximately 200-300 yards from observation point. Watched light for estimated 10 minutes when it got dimmer and faded away.

As reported to me by my mother. She looked out her back window (east) around 23:30 on 2-26-00, and saw a milky-white light low on the horizon that approximated a full moon. It appeared to be just above the tops of trees that are about 200-300 yards from her observation point. Thinking that it was a reflection, she moved to another window for a different angle of sight, but found the light was still apparent from her new vantage point. She continued to watch the light; it gradually became dimmer and eventually completely faded away. She approximates that the sighting lasted for 10 minutes. She reported a haze around the light, and a milky-white color.

SUMMARY: While outside with my family on July 4th...I went to my room to get a CD...then I seen this object just floating in the sky about a mile from my house. Immediately I thought...oh my god,a U.F.O.! I decided to try and communicate w/ it. So I flashed the lights in my room. It flashed back. I ran downstairs...turned off my front porch lights, it dimmed its lights and floated away.

The object was a round circle of lights. That's actually all it was... it did communicate w/ me but after the second time I tried to, it floated away.

They've been here since we have been, they are aliens they're a good ones and bad ones they live in our oceans the Navy and Air Force keeps it covered up but they can't do it no more these new things we've been seeing are not like the things that most of us have seen over the years my experience in 95 I was 18 and I know what I saw this thing I could have reached out my car and touched it no noise like these new things and if people would just listen to what is going on in the capital we've been done had these meetings about these UFOs and aliens and they all said they are alien human beings that they have contact with so the government don't even know about it but the military does they know all about it these things are real and there's good ones and bad ones and they live in our oceans and in our galaxy and if a miss or bomb goes off it doesn't just blow us away it messes up their Galaxy where they live and they don't want that there's so much to it that some people's minds cannot wrap around it but then you got to think we're a marble living inside of millions of galaxies to those who do think there are other life forms on all of these different planets have a great thank you how could they're not the other ones and they were here before us and the military is keeping the government in the dark however the presidents Obama admitted it on an interview with Stephen Colbert and I've heard Trump has found out I don't know if he could even take it but yes there's other life forms and they are visiting us and the government just cannot hide it anymore

Triangle shaped craft on state route 28 at the Garrison Spurling rd intersection

I wouuld first like to say I made an earlier report that was errant in the time frame that it occured.I gave this information on my best estimation a few years ago,but upon my visit back to this site I noticed another account that occured not more than a couple of miles from where I had my encounter and even less crossing the field as the craft was.Im amost certain the other witness viewed the same craft on the same night I did.The craft I viewed was crossing state rt 28 at Garrison Spurling rd crossing the fields heading in a south westerly direction.I first spotted the V shaped formation of lights coming across the fields from the north eastern side of state rt 28 at a distance of maybe 1500 yds and I believed at first sight that this was helicopters flying in formation,but upon listening out my window I noticed there was no sound coming from these lights so i pulled my car over at the Garrison Spurling rd intesection where I was going to turn enroute for home and it crossed over state route 28 in front of me.The lights were a V shaped and though they were not more than a hundred yards in front of me at little more than tree top high they didnt make a sound,it was like they were floating.The lights were very bright and large one on each corner of the triangle.I watched the formation until it was out of sight heading in a south westerly direction towards Shiloh rd where I believe the other witness viewed these lights on possibly the smae night as I.I tried to follow the formation on Garrison Spurling rd but the formation continued on its way across the feilds and I lost sight of it.

Fleet of UFOs over Goshen, Ohio...Summer 1994

First off I must say that I wish I had reported this a long time ago, I would have if I knew how to go about it. I'm reporting it now because I really would like to know if anyone else has seen anything like this in Goshen before or since. Would love to compare notes. Anyway... here's the story.

It was about 11:30 at night on a clear starry night in late summer. My girlfriend at the time and I were driving down ST. RT. 28 heading out of Goshen towards Blanchester. Just to give you a better image of where we were, Goshen is farmland and out past the town it becomes a long stretch of road with forest and fields pretty much everywhere you look.

My girlfriend was asleep in the passenger seat when I noticed a very bright row of white lights in the sky ahead and off to my left. These lights were bright enough and just about the right height that I at first passed them off as stadium lights until I remembered that we had already passed the high school about 10 minutes before.

Not being familiar with the area I woke up my girlfriend and pointed to the lights to see if she knew what it was. She, like myself, was clueless. Both of us kept our eyes glued to these lights as we drove further down the road. At the distance we first noticed it... we didn’t notice any deviation in the brightness of the lights or any movement from the object until we got closer. At that point we could see a sort of oscillating effect to the lights that made it look as if they were rotating around the object. When we noticed this, honestly I began to get a bit excited. I had always heard about UFO's but had never seen one and the thought of seeing one was a rush. But even then I wasn’t planning on tracking this thing down... I was interested but not THAT interested. That is until I was getting really close to my turn off and realized that my route would take me right by the field this thing was in. So it looked like we were going to get a closer look at this thing after all.

I took a left onto Shiloh road... I think that's the name of the road. However after turning left the object was on my right hand side about a football field away and few hundred feet in the air (guessing on the distances). Just after turning off we saw a little gravel driveway near a broken down barn that went a short distance into the field. Both our curiosities were really peaked at this time so we pulled in, shut the car and radio off and watched.

What we saw was amazing, the object was so dark that all we saw was the lights that ran around its perimeter, we couldn’t make out a shape yet, but watching its maneuvers was enough. It would sit horizontal with its lights seemingly rotating around it, extremely bright but not so much you could look at it. Then, its lights would dim down and stop “rotating”, it would shift from horizontal to a roughly 30 degree angle and shoot straight up in the sky and back down again in a matter of seconds but in a different spot within the field. It would then settle fully horizontal and its lights would return to how we first saw them. At no time did this craft seem to notice or care we were there, there were times when it would move that it would come close enough that we could hear a pulsating humming sound coming from it.

All in all, we stayed and watched this for about 1/2 an hour and never did either one of us have a sense of fear, we felt totally safe (whether we were or weren’t). While we sat there though, we noticed several other object at varying distances all pulling the same kind of maneuvers, bringing the total to about 8 UFO's in that area. We really got the impression that they were searching for something or practicing maneuvers? Who knows.

Finally we decided to leave before we pushed our luck. On the drive home my girlfriend noticed that one of the objects was moving in our general direction. Not so much following as we had a good idea that the direction it was going would take it really close to her home. Her Dad happened to have a good set of binoculars so when we got there we ran back outside with them and took a look up as it went by. What we saw was a dark triangle with 4 lights, 3 in the corners and one larger one in the center each having a yellowish/white light underneath. In fact the picture of the Triangular UFOs from Belgium look almost identical to what we saw.

So there's my story, I would love to hear from anyone that might have seen anything similar. Granted this was 10 years ago, but I'm betting that if anyone else saw this it would have stuck in your mind as much as it has mine.

I was driving home from work east bound on rt.28 outside of Goshen OH when i caught sight of a group of helicopters flying in V formation.They were flying in a southern direction,and were intersecting the road in front of me when i noticed these choppers or or aircraft were not more than a hundred feet from the ground and were absolutely noiseless.I also noticed the lights were a sort of cold flourescent light kind of different cant really say why but i could see they were illuminating the ground as though searching.You couldnt see beyond the lights to see what they were connected to.What strikes me even more strange is i never told anyone until years later of this event.I was the only witness to this sighting and if I had a camera the pictures would have been closer than any Ive seen on any show or documentary.

Sighting of blue oval UFO and possible Bigfoot or humanoid creature

Date was approximately July 1st, 1972. I was at Boy Scout summer camp in a heavily wooded area outside of Goshen, Wisconsin. Two fellow Scouts and I were walking back to our campsite after a campfire meeting, late at night.

We saw a dark shape silhouetted in the middle of the trail, very tall, blocking our way. Thinking it was a bear, we stayed frozen, stock still. We had been told that if we ever encountered a bear, the worst thing to do would be to try and run. A full-grown bear can out-run a human easily.

The ‘bear’ was making sounds, but more like a dog’s barking than anything else: very high-pitched. The smell was foul, like something rotten. We still couldn’t get close enough to get a good look.

In the next few minutes, an oval blue shape appeared directly overhead, about 100 yards above us. It didn’t have a clear outline but was more like a vibrating glow. Reminded me of the blue flame from a gas stove.

We went back and forth, first staring at the shape in the middle of the trail, then staring up at the blue light in the sky, for what seemed like a long time. Probably just a few minutes, though. The thing standing in the trail began to make a rasping breathing sound. We were scared out of our wits.

Then, in a flash, the creature took off running, upright, down the trail. The blue light hung in the air for a brief second, then shot like a rocket in the same direction as the creature.

We were really freaked out, and promised not to ever tell anyone about it, because no one would ever believe it. As far as I know,this will be the first time that anyone besides the three of us will ever be aware of this incident. Was is it in fact a bear, or something else ? The connection between the creature and the blue light ? Hard to say, no one will ever explain it. I do know this. Three of us saw and heard exactly the same thing(s).

Very high-pitched. but a kind of chirping sound
