Strange disk hovering in a straight path.

The strange disk just appeared, it was white but reflected the sunrise. It travelled in a straight path and was going incredibly slowly. There was no jet stream, no observable wings and there was no planes scheduled to fly through the area at the time of sighting. Our view was obscured by a tree, in which it then disappeared.

Strange circular lights floating still, below star range

Lights appeared to be stars at first site but were floating to low to be assumed they were stars. Two lights observed standing still in the sky and did not appeared to be airplanes. Airplanes lights turn on/off and do not stay still. They were too big to be drones. After stepping inside the house for a moment(15 mins.)and returning to document, the observed lights were no longer in the sky.

Low flying, single, non-rotary craft with 3-4 distinct solid red lights

Aitcraft flying south to north through Riverdale Park exactly at 2221EDT. Solid object, matte black or gun metal gray, with 3-4 solid, red lights. No flashing, no pulsing, no other colored lights. It made sound but not unbearably loud despite being within 150 meters of my location, flying at low altitude, estimate at under 150 feet. (My guess is based on experience rapelling from a helicopter at 90 feet).

Flew just behind the trees at treetop or near treetop level from East West Highway toward the direction of College Park/Greenbelt. Took two pictures immediately when I noticed it wasn't rotary craft. Lousy camera, two images. Prior to images, my thought was that was almost rectangular or angular in its shape. I then snap two images Immediately. The first appears to show single craft with what looks like three red lights through the trees. Then as it moves north about 25-50 meters past treeline, I take another image on the same setting with no flash and ordinary daytime setting, with no trees to block a visual of said craft. It is dark, the only light to illuminate is from streetlights. So there is trail/artifact of light from craft in image from south to north direction. It appears to be three lights in an isoscoles shape. The oddest thing is that when I snapped the image, one cannot see an outline of the craft, but I know it was visible, and the lights were at the aircraft's border.

I'm not convinced it's not a legitimate aircraft, but given it's very low altitude, solid red unblinking lights only, the lack of decibels, lack of rotars, it's size (dismissing small drone), aircraft did not appear to be in distress as it continued its flight path, and my experience around military aircraft, I am at a loss for words as to what I witnessed.

Immediately after taking both images, I went to flight radar. Flight radar indicated only two nearby rotary crafts, one belonging to PG County Police a bit northwest of College Park, and one near Silver Spring. Both were too distant to explain what I observed.

While this path is heavily trafficked for aircraft around the NCR and to College Park, BWI, DCA, and Andrews, it was unusual for the reasons described above. Can anything typical explain this?

yesterday, I witnessed an orb of light descending near Riverdale, New Jersey.

Yesterday at approximately 4:40 pm I was traveling northwards on Interstate 287 in Morris County, New Jersey. Low-hanging storm clouds covered the entire expanse of the sky, but no rain or lightning was evident. I must have been approaching mile marker 50, when a bright light appeared in the storm clouds directly ahead of me, brightening––for a moment––the clouds immediately surrounding its source.

The source of the light soon emerged from the cloud covering: it was a glowing orb which I saw descending to earth in a straight path. Within seconds, it had disappeared from view behind a hill. By my estimate, it must have made impact no more than a mile from my vehicle. Numerous others must have witnessed the event as well, as the highway was heavily trafficked. I am inclined to believe that I witnessed a rare instance of ball lightning. Nevertheless, I am still reporting the event in the hope that others may also share their stories and that a more detailed picture may emerge.

My husband and I were UFO hunting from our yard on the nights of April 17 and 18, we were using 15x70 Celestron binoculars. On the night of the 17th, we sighted 3 fleets of flying craft. The first fleet had 10-15 lights visible, the second fleet had around 30 lights visible, the last fleet had 5-7 lights visible. The lights would maintain a V formation for most of the flight, but the individual lights would shift around and change position, at times the lights would cluster into a loose ball and rearrange back into a V formation. The craft moved around the same on both nights.

On the night of the 18th I first started seeing fleets around 20:00, the first couple of fleets had around 20-30 craft, I soon lost count of how many fleets I had seen, I believe I saw at least 20-30 fleets, all traveling from South to North. There seemed to be 2 different craft, there were smaller ones that only showed up as a round light, and there were bigger ones that had a light on the underside that was reminiscent of a crane flying overhead. This incident lasted around an hour. We could barely see the lights with the naked eye, but with the binoculars we were able to see them much more clearly.

Standing on my balcony just before the sun fully set so the sky was still lit up a bit, I was on the phone with my father. I began looking around the sky and right above me was a cluster of glowing orange orbs and they had to be about 20,000 ft up, close to planes. The instant that one orb would phase out another would light up in another spot, but there was no craft present after each light phased out. This went on for a couple of minutes, one orb disappearing and another reappearing across from it. I was on the phone but was speechless and mesmerized watching this and did not even think to take a photo or video and in fact didn’t even tell my father on the phone what I was seeing and cannot explain why other than I was just entranced. Eventually the lights stopped and were gone altogether, again no physical craft seen.

We were walking for over 15 minutes and planes were passing in all directions but this object never moved.

My husband seems to think it was a star but it was too light out and the moon was just starting to show.

Silvery rectangular object drifting overhead to the West until it fades out of sight over Riverdale Road

My husband and I were lying on a hillside facing west above Riverdale Road, looking up at the night sky. Even though the city was fairly well lit, we could still the stars. Suddenly, an unusual object drifted over our heads, completely silent.

This was a long and narrow object, rectangular. It did not drift in the straight line; it was angled slightly toward the southwest direction, but drifted to the west.

It seemed to have a curved shape. It did not have sharp angles, but rounded edges. It actually reminded me of a parachute, where the underside was lit up by the reflection of the city lights. The object looked to have 4 quadrants, each quadrant reflecting light off the city. The object itself was a dim silvery color. It just continued to drift toward the horizon until we could not see it any longer.

White sphere seen by 4 people.

At approximately 16:00 hours today, or a bit after, I was walking through the lot where I work, and, as I am accustomed to doing, I looked skyward, and noticed a round white sphere in the sky! At first, I thought it might be a balloon, but it seemed to be just a bit too large for that! I say that, because, though it had some distance to it away from me, I would say it was maybe about the size of a popcorn kernel held about a foot from my face!

I watched it for some time, and also got the attention of someone I work with, to view it as well! Came to find out, 2 others I work with, had already seen it! I stated previously that I thought it might be a balloon, but, after watching it for a few minutes, I watched as it turned to the left, and it had length to it!

So, at first I thought it to be spherical, but that observation has changed now, to be close to cigar or cylindrical in shape! Distance at that time, would be approximately 2 miles distant, and about 1500-2700 in elevation from my location! It was moving at a slow rate of speed, but increasing in elevation.

There were high thin clouds in the area, at about 4-6000 feet above! I watched it for a while, but was busy with other things, though I tried to keep sight of it as much as I could! My vision is okay, but one witness stated that he has 20/15 vision, and he knows that it was not a balloon! And he saw it long before I had! Hill AFB is close by, to the south! I wonder if they saw it on radar!!

I have witnessed things in this area before, and have made reports! And I know others who have seen things as well! One of the witnesses to this event, stated that he sees objects quite often in the area! One thing of note, as I was watching this...object, it did make a sudden move, and seemed to increase in elevation of I would say, a couple of hundred feet, in just a few seconds!

It was broad day light outside, this object looked just like a circular tire with a hole in the middle, it kept flipping higher & higher up in the air till we couldn't see it anymore..

Reddish/orange flash of light.

I had just arrived home from doing some shopping, and had just turned my car off and had just stepped out of my car. It is a clear night out tonight in our area, so, I always look up to the sky to see if I can spot anything, having seen things around here before! That's when I saw the flash of light. It was located near due west of where I am! And at an approximately 30 degree angle to the horizon. It wasn't a large flash nor shape! Maybe about the size of a BB held about a foot or two from your face. It was maybe red to reddish orange in color, and lasted maybe only a couple of seconds at most! There were no aircraft in the vicinity! I'm thinking that maybe it was a Quark(?) or something like that, that Scientists see from time to time in the night sky, you know, an exploding star or some such thing in the distant Galaxy/Universe! I've heard of them, but exactly what they're called, I don't recall! Whatever it was, it wasn't moving! Just a flash of light and it was gone! I watched, but saw nothing more! Pretty interesting to have seen it!

i went out side to get the news paper and i look up in the sky and off to the sws direction i see this big bright light. and as i watch i see a smaller light break from it but stayed very close to the bigger light.

and you could see like three or four flashing plane lights heading toward it from diffent directions.

Bright light in sky

12/28/2012 Riverdale, MI Last night, at 8:00 pm, I was coming home from work, traveling south on a county road. I noticed in the sky about 300 feet above tree level a bright white light. After about a mile I concluded it must be a spotlight from a helicopter. The light remained fixed, slightly to the east of the road.

As I approached my home I turned into the drive and the light remained fixed in the sky above and behind my garage. As my headlights illuminated the garage the light dropped rapidly behind the garage.

I parked my car and walked to the back of the yard to investigate. The tree line, approximately 600 feet in back of a tilled field, was backlight with a bright light. I went into the house retrieved a flashlight and camera.

I then proceeded down a lane on the south property line. The backlight was no longer bright but more of an amber color. Because it was a full moon and the ground was snow covered I kept the flashlight off as I approached.

I was within 100 feet of the tree lin! e when the amber light went suddenly out. At this point I lost my nerve and returned to the house, locked the door and closed the curtains.

This morning I walked to the back of our property to complete my investigation. There was nothing to indicate anything unusual happen the night before.

My kids and I was coming back from a park in Greenbelt md and we were on Keniworth Ave .

my son was 10 in the front seat with me..I knew i had saw something but didnt mention it as fast as y son did..we saw 3 bright lights in the sky all three was in a triangle shape position one to the bottem left one rioght top in the middle and the other one was at your bottom light ..other drivers had to see it also...then it disapper one by one right in front of us...i wasnt sure what it was but this was not the only time I had seen somthing like this...Im still in Awe...also it seems light thier was an air craft around the lights

Glowing round orange object that moved very fast and silently.

My husband went behind our barn to pee, and saw a round orange glowing light at about tree line height. He thought it was a helicopter, but had no sound. He came in the house to get me and by the time I reached the out door a object was a couple of miles up in the air. All I was able to see was this orange light with a halo effect around it. It stayed at that height for about a min. another one appeared from the west at about the same height. A friend of ours took out his camera phone and by the time he was able to try to get a picture, it was too far away. The lights went straight up in the air until you couldn't see it anymore. It moved silently and very fast. There was no drinking or drugs involved in the evening. We had as a matter of fact just had a late dinner. And my husband went out side to see his friend off.

We saw a orange fireball looking thing at tree line level. WE though it was a helicopter, but it was silent and moved very fast. It moved across the sky at same height to the south. It all the sudden rose in the sky about a couple of miles and stayed there.

Another object of the same kind appeared from the west and both took off at the same time to the stars till you could no longer see them.

We tried to get pictures but the object moved so fast it wasn't possible. We just happened to be out side seeing our visitor off. It was hard not to notice an orange glowing object in the sky.

I was not a believer of such things but now I am. It was the strangest thing I have ever seen.

I wanted to share another sighting I had today, and, the time is approximate on this.

I witnessed what looked to be an opaque white circular or spherical object fly northward, quite high in the late morning sky! I have submitted reports here before, so I always watch the skies over where I live, considering that there is an AF Base close by.

The object I observed, I would estimate, was possibly close to 18,000 feet or more, as there were scattered high thin clouds, and this object traveled above and behind these clouds! It traveled slowly, and almost seemed to come to a stop a couple of times, but always kept in motion!

I watched it for at least a minute or more. A co-worker was outside with me, but he was unable to focus on this object! What is worth mentioning here, is that this same co-worker also intimated to me, after the object had gone, that he had seen a similar object earlier this morning, maybe less than an hour prior to my sighting, traveling southward, high up, and going at a really fast speed, he estimated, to be at least as fast as a passenger jet, and maybe even faster!

The object I saw was going due north! There was no noise associated with this object, nor was there any vapor trails left behind it! And no flashing or strobe lights! At this elevation, it would be quite impossible to say it was a plane, because, even at ceiling limits of most passenger aircraft, one can still discern a fuselage of a plane, on a clear, sunny day! This was round, and moving slowly!

Two bright lights appear, one after another

At approximately 8:05pm, I was sitting outside my place of employment, having a cigarette and waiting for word on whether I could clock out and go home or not, and, while sitting on a wall next to the main building, I was looking up at the Moon and Saturn, which were nearly aligned, the Moon being above, when, 2 bright lights appeared suddenly, below and to the left of the Moon, but, between the 2 bodies! First, one appeared, then the other immediately there after! They moved in unison, traveling in a SSE direction, slowly fading in the distance! In hopes of having another witness to this event, I ran up to a window of the main building, and got the attention of a co-worker, whom I prompted to hurry outside to see what I had seen! He came out, and, we both watched both lights slowly travel and fade away to the SSE! I have checked, and as far as any information I can obtain, the ISS was not anywhere near this location and the described time of this event! The! se lights were visible for approximately 15 seconds or so. They also appeared to be in a sub-orbital elevation, though, being a night time sighting, that is speculative! The sky was clear and dark, with no clouds anywhere to be seen!

The light was moving WNW to SSE at about 40 degrees above the horizon. Could have been a meteor, but since there was no trail...!

Slow moving, bright light, with no flashing lights.

I always try to do some sky-watching on weekends, and on this night, there was the usual air traffic in and outbound to the Salt Lake City airport. I did witness one satellite heading from north to south, but it was kind of faint, so I did'nt pay much attention to it. After about a half hour after that, I decided to call it a night, but, as I was about to head indoors, I looked up one more time, and caught site of a single light heading from the south to the north. This light was about 5x brighter than that of the satellite, and quite a bit nearer to me, I would say at about 25-30,000 ft. I know it was not an airliner, as there were no flashing or strobe lights seen. I witness a lot of aircraft in this area, as I live almost right under the local AFB and SLC Int'l flight paths. This was too low, and too slow to be a satellite

Silent bright blue light rapidly decending towards ground.

Bright blue light which came from behind my point of view (west) and decended from above the treelin across the street and disappeared behind the roofline of the house across the street. No sound. Very rapid. Never saw anything remotely similar. Have lived near airport (Hartsfield) for 33 years.

Halloween UFO!

My best friend and I were driving to her sister's apartment for a Halloween Bash. Her boyfriend was riding with us. I was heading south on Kenilworth Avenue. Out of the blue we saw a strange craft going from left to right (Heading from East to West)It was about the speed of a plane. Appeared to be 10,000 feet in the air. It kept going. My friend and I were amazed at what we saw.

Many witnesses to ufo sighting

My husband and I moved into our new condo in Riverdale, Ga. after our third daughter was born. She was born in April 1986 and this sighting happened in the fall of 1986. I believe it was near the end of October or the beginning November. On this night, my husband and I had put our three daughters to bed at about 9:00pm. We stayed up late watching T.V. and talking. At around 3:00am I was sitting at the end of our bed watching an old movie on T.V. and my husband was lying in our bed watching the movie.

As I was watching the movie, I realized that I could hear this sound coming from outside of my bedroom window. At first I didn't think much of it but then I thought to myself, what is that noise at 3:00 in the morning? I sat up straight on the end of my bed and listened. It was a vacuum cleaner! Who would be vacuuming at 3:00 in the morning? And Outside! I said to my husband,"Someone is vacuuming this late at night, or should I say this early in the morning?" I asked him do you hear that? He said yes. I said "Is someone drunk or something why would someone do that? He said, "I don't know, someone being crazy." I said that I could not understand why they would be outside on the patio vacuuming. We had square cement patios off of our diningrooms in the back yard. We lived in a two story building so our bedroom was on the second floor. I was trying to make sense of hearing a vacuum cleaner running at 3:00am. I told my husband, "Maybe someone knocked over a potted plant or something and they were cleaning it up" but at this time! I said I am going to look and see who it is.

When I got to my bedroom window, I slowly opened it so who ever was outside would not know that I was watching them. I wasn't going to say anything to them I just wanted to see what was going on. I pushed my face against the screen and looked down below to the direction of where I thought the noise was coming from. I was expecting to see a porch light on and someone vacuuming their patio, I know this sounds crazy but its true. There was no light on. It was totally dark on all of the patios that ran along the back of the building. I thought was is that vacuuming noise? There is no one out here. I was pushing my face against the window screen looking back and forth across the back of the building. Nothing. I had been hearing the vacuuming sound for about 5 minutes by then.

After finding no one down below vacuuming their patio, I was confused and looked out over the back yard. It was a big open field with a grove of trees stretching across the back of the field. I still heard the vacuum cleaner running. I don't know why but kneeling on my knees looking out the window, I slowly looked up, what I saw took my breath away! I had to make myself breathe. My mouth was hung open, I could not speak. I could not be seeing what I was seeing! There above the grove of trees a little to my right was a space ship! I remember shaking, my mind was frozen as were my eyes on this huge, massive thing floating before me in the air! All I could think of was to call my husband over he has to witness this, so later on when I told people they would not tell me I was dreaming it all.

I could still here the vacuum cleaner sound it was coming from this huge space ship. I remember in my state of shock thinking how can this massive thing only be making such a small sound as a vacuum cleaner? I called my husband, but I dared not look away for fear that it might take off. I could not take my eyes off it, I wanted to remember everything about it. I called my husband again, he was getting annoyed because he was tired. "What?" he said to me as I am trying not to pass out from shock and fear. "Come here, Oh my God, come here!! You are not going to believe this!!" "What is it?" he asked me. " You wouldn't believe me if I told you!" I said to him. My husband gets up off of the bed and walks over to where I am and bends down and looks out of the window. He was looking down below and out straight ahead."What is it?" he said to me with anger in his voice. I pointed up in the sky and said "Look over there!" My husbands knees gave way and he was kneeling beside me staring at this huge space ship." Oh my God, Oh my God!" that was all he could say. As we both knelt there staring up at this thing I asked my husband do we have any film in the camera, he said no. We just kept staring. We were both in shock. Oh my God is all that either one of us could say. I wanted to run and find the camera but I was afraid it would be gone when I got back and I wanted to stare at this thing for as long as I possibly could before it flew away. I noticed that the trees underneath the ship were not moving. You would think that the force of the engines would have been making the trees dance around but they were standing still. I could still hear the vacuum cleaner sound coming from this thing.

I said to my husband,"Lets try to remember everything about the way it looks." I told him, how could such a huge ship make just the sound of a vacuum cleaner. He said he did not know and kept staring. At that moment a chill went through me and then fear, we were staring up at this thing, what if they were staring back at us! I told my husband to get down so we both bent down on our hands and knees to where just our eyes were peeking up over the window sill. I said if I see a beam of light coming towards us I'll have a heart attack! My husband said, you and me both! This whole sighting lasted about 3 minutes from the time my husband came to the window. I will describe to you what we saw. It was huge, it was as wide as a football field and it was perfectly round. It was shaped like, the best way to describe it was like a round football stadium, like the old one in Atlanta. It was thick on the sides, not like a saucer. I saw that it was made from some sort of black iron or metal, I could see metal beams crossing at different points and some kind of huge bolts holding them in place. There were round shaped humps of metal going down the beams.

There were a row of lights going around the middle of the whole ship. And I think the lights did not go on until it started to leave. Because as soon as I noticed the lights, the vacuum sound got higher pitched as it lifted up slowly, then with a sound of wind it took off and within 3 seconds it was a tiny light in the sky. We were in shock, we just knelt there in silence. I don't know how much time passed before we could talk. It was amazing, shocking, frightening and thrilling. My husband doesn't want to talk about it.

I could not sleep. I couldn't wait until it was late enough to call my family on the phone. Well, a couple of hours later my phone rang and it was my sister yelling on the other end of the phone that a ufo had been seen in her town that same night. She lived in Newnan, Ga. almost an hour away from me. I told that I knew, that my husband and I had seen it.
