This thing was maybe a few hundred feet above me and making absolutely no noise what so ever.

I was outside smoking a cigarette and saw this giant triangle shaped craft right above me. It was very low maybe a few hundred feet above me and it made no noise at all. At first I just stared at it and then I ran inside once I realized what I was looking at. I’m not sure how long I stared at it. When I went inside I hid for a moment. Then I went back outside to see it again and it was gone. The triangle had a light at each point on it but I could see the outline of the entire craft.

It was a spot light moving . Following me from up. When I moved the light moved.

It was windy real windy and the power went out so I went out side and looked up to see how bad the lightning was and I thought I saw the moon light through an opening in the clouds. I stared at it and it freaking glided like a flash light. Just moved . So I was like ima go tell my brother. When I went there was a water leak outside the trailer. The renters left the water running and left so we fixed and I forgot to tell my brother. I snapped and went back to tell him. And sure enough I looked up and there it was. My brother took forever but it stayed there just didn't move. When he saw it he freaked out went home and it followed him first so I ran over there to tell him it's over his trailer it must have heard me freaking out coz the it started following me home I mean a giant spot light in the sky. It wasn't a helicopter cut it was in lightning clouds. I mean it moved like a flash light following me home to the car to hwy and then it did the wiredest thing it position itself like it was in an angle a flash of light and you could see it was a long cigar shape. My brother saw it blink of an on like me. I'm scared to be honest.

A white light moving very erratically.

I noticed a white light in the dark but clear sky. At first I thought it was a plane until I noticed the strange moving patterns. It was moving in a straight line when it suddenly appeared to drop down lower in the sky very quickly. Then it suddenly and quickly rose up higher than where it started. It even moved backward very quickly at one point and then assumed it’s original direction. These odd movements continued until it was out of my range of vision. I have never seen movement like this before. I am sorry I didn’t have my phone with me to record it. I am a retired high school science teacher who never expected to see something I cannot explain. I was outside with my dog when I saw this object.

Numerous orb crafts of different colors seen over south central KS.

Just after dusk a witness spotted numerous orbs of light in the sky ranging in color (green, blue, red, white, white/red) and told the rest of the group to look up. For approximately 2 mins there was an assortment of orbs that flew from south to north in no pattern. They were to fast to be planes and to slow to be shooting stars. There was no noise associated with these crafts.

We were in the backyard when this incident occurred. The crafts were different colors and could be seen a long ways off and never disappeared until they were far away. They seemed to all be at the same altitude and speed. Their flight path was erratic in the fact that some were close to each other and others were weaving. This was seen by the entire group. Pictures were attempted to be taken but they pictures were not coming out in the dark.

A moving star approaches from south, moves about erratically, then sits motionless.

I was laying on a lawn blanket with my family awaiting the Derby city fireworks display around 9:40 PM, when I observed what I thought was a satellite approaching from the south. My whole family observed it and we wondered if it was the ISS passing over. My son quickly checked on his phone and saw that the ISS was over the ocean.

We continued to observe what we presumed to be a satellite until it slowed, abruptly changed direction to the east, paused, then moved around quite erratically before coming to a complete and motionless halt. After a few minutes, it moved to the east, and then turned north and came almost directly overhead. It slowly moved back to the southwest and “parked”. It stayed there and appeared simply as a star until we left and went home. My son and I were so intrigued, we watched it the whole time instead of the fireworks.

I wondered at first if it could be a drone and what we were observing was positioned lower in altitude than we initially perceived, but its peculiar movement, silence, and perfectly motionless “parking “ for an extended period of time, make me think “no”. It appeared to be high in the atmosphere, and looked just like a star. My son and I were especially intrigued, and we were curious if anyone else saw it.

Perfectly straight trajectory, circular, 10,000 mph at least, 10,000 feet up, silver, unlike anything I could comprehend

Laying down looking up spotted what I thought was a bird at first, but then realized it was moving way too fast and realized it was thousands of feet up.

I then thought it could be a jet but it was perfectly circular.

There was also no jet stream and it was moving faster than any jet I've ever seen.

I would guess it was moving at least 10,000 miles an hour or more.

The object however had what looked to be a tail of some sort. In fact it looked kind of like a balloon, because this "tail" was more underneath the object. It was so far away that it was very small.

I would think weather balloon, or possibly even satellite, but it was just moving way too fast, and I don't think satellite because it was only maybe 10,000 feet above ground, and not a balloon because again, the speed and trajectory.

I had a very wide view it came out of the clouds but the sky was otherwise beautifully clear. It was about 3 or 4pm full daylight. The trajectory was west to east and direction, speed, and height did not change.

It was silver in color. I stared until I lost it in the treeline.

It's like nothing I've ever seen.

Derby NY 11/10/2012 Sighting @ 6:30pm to about 7:45pm temp

Hello Peter here is my report:

On the 10th I was in the backyard Burning some firewood and listening to talk radio when suddenly above me there were 5 spheres in a strange formation above me. Immediately, I ran to get a witness. Once returning out side the five had moved a little further down the road and then became stationary for a moment and then began to make formations and move about in that area.

Then as time went on they move further away so I jumped in the truck and followed. While doing so I seen other people pull over looking and getting pics. I told all of the to go to the NUFORC website and write out a report and then continued to follow. At one point they were low enough that they were behind trees, almost looked like they may land somewhere.

At the end of the sighting they came up from the ground one at a time and they even took the same flight path up till you could not see them anymore due to clouds.

The main reason I am out there every time is to see this phenomenon and others, ….finally it happened.

WITNESS REPORT I observed several orange like Spheres rising into the night sky. There were other orange orbs also in the sky. I could see them coming from behind the trees. At one point I counted 6 or 7 orange spheres, they would rise and then disappear in the clouds. 3 made this formation most of the sighting Other information!!! Witnessed seven Fireball objects flying near the Derby Dam

On the night of July 6, 2012 at approximately 21:10; my brother, best friend and I were fishing at the Derby dam. At this time we all witnessed a solo fireball, at approximately 5000 feet in the air flying rather slowly over CT Route 34 heading eastwards towards CT Route 8. This flight seemed to last for about a minute before disappearing into cloud cover. Approximately 3 minutes later we then witnessed five more fireball looking object flying in the same direction as the first object did. This time the first three objects flew in a triangle shaped formation while the last two flew side by side. This time we could see the first formation slow down and speed up, while the second formation mimicked the first group as if it was avoiding crashing into it. This slowing down and speeding up happened at least five times as the flight of these two formations seemed to take approximately five minutes. These two formations then disappeared into the cloud cover as did the first solo object. My best friend then left our location at 21:30 and he went home.

At 22:03, my brother and I were heading back to our vehicle when we witnessed a solo fireball object flying in the same direction as the first six fireball objects. After watching the flight for a minute we backed up our vehicle and left the dam.

strange orange fireball streaks across sky,stops,shines two lights and turns into spacecraft and bolts straight up and out og sight.

I was walking a friend's dog on Hawthorne Ave., when I noticed what looked like a round fireball traveling from Shelton towards Derby fairly low in the sky. This light orange yellow fireball had a darker orange color around the outer edge. I thought it would shrink and burn out, but it continued to move rapidly towards where I was viewing this fascinating ball of flame, and then I pulled out my phone camera and clicked two photo's from the middle of the street, when all of a sudden the fireball shone two lights that did not blink, but just shone like it was attached to something solid.

Then all of a sudden the whole fireball went straight upwards and then changed directions and headed eastward for a few seconds, then I could see it staying still while clouds passed by, and then it took off straight upwards and out of sight.

Fireball moving across the sky

It was just before 10pm on July 4 in Derby, CT, and my girlfriend and I had just gotten to my house. I had ran inside real quick to turn on the air conditioner and neighbors were setting off fireworks and an orange ball of fire came from over the trees near where the neighbors were.

My girlfriend yelled to me from outside thinking it was one of the fireworks headed for the house and when I finally got outside to see what she was yelling about, the object continued across the sky from West to East at a constant speed.

At first, I thought it was a plane on fire, but it wasn't exactly a "flashing light" that you would typically see on an airplane, it really looked like something on fire moving across the sky. It looked like it was about the size of a plane, but it was flying far to low. We lost sight of the object after it went over my house, and when we walked around the house to track it, the object was gone.

It could have possibly been a missile launch, it definitely was not fireworks. I'm not sure how many people witnessed this event other than the two of us.

I'm hoping that we weren't the only ones.

Of course, this 4th of July involved fireworks. Note that what I am reporting as "fireballs", "glowing lights", or hovering spheres, are not the likes of any firework which I am familiar with.

Around 9:15 p.m., a friend and I sat on my back porch watching fireworks displays from various neighborhoods around us. We set off a few of our own, but nothing big. Neither of us had any alcoholic beverages that day or night, nor do we do drugs; our states of mind were as sharp and relaxed as possible.

When looking south, during a lull in the fireworks, we both noticed (and promptly pointed out to each other) 4 objects in the dark sky. We were looking at about a 35 degree angle of elevation. The objects seemed to hover in place, making only minuscule adjustments to hold formation due to strong winds. They glowed with an orange-red light, the closest approximation of which I can make is the HTML Hex code #CC1100. It was not an extremely strong glow, in that I could not see it illuminating any objects on the ground, trees, or even that much of the smoke present from the fireworks. However, it was clearly bright enough (or close enough) to reach my friend and I with no problem. They were arranged in what looked from our viewpoint to be the shape of a rhombus or diamond shape, but I cannot say for sure due to our angle and imperfect depth perception concerning their distance from one another. They seemed to act together, as though they were all present for the same cause or of! the same force.

Other similar formations could be seen from the front of my home looking northward; one directly north and one in the north-northwest. The latter formation was at a greater distance from us, causing the glows to appear smaller and sort of blend together, creating uncertainty on the number in that formation. We could only assume that there were also four there, as this is how the others were arranged.

The formation to the south was still closest to us, and we mainly observed it. It remained still, emitting no beams or objects, but the objects seemed to alternate positions every 45 min. or so. About 5 min. after a rotation, the object closest to us (on a the point of the rhombus) darted towards us significantly. It hovered now above the pond directly behind my house. It faded in color and luminescence as it neared, becoming completely matte black by the time it reached us. It hovered there, and had it not been for fireworks on the horizon and city lights illuminating the haze, it would have blended easily into the night sky. We had a Nikon D5000 with an external flash and telephoto lens, and immediately started fumbling for it to try to capture it on camera. The camera would not boot up.

It usually takes about half a second to turn on and become ready to shoot, if that. But it wouldn't. The battery was charged, for we tried two of them, both of which had been charged that day. It was in the right way and there should have been nothing to interfere. In the dark, I tried to use my lighter to see if there was some fault or something that could prevent it from working. It was a push-button or electronic butane aerosol lighter, where one clicks a button down, creating a spark, and igniting a jet of butane fuel. The fuel came out as usual when the button was depressed, but the spark would not work. Neither would my friend's.

We took this to mean that after going into some sort of less detectable mode, it also activated a device that shut down certain electronic capabilities within a reasonable proximity. Unable to capture it, we could only stand in awe. It looked to be about 15 ft. in diameter, and rotating a bit in one direction before reversing its spin. It spun fairly slowly, almost like it was just drifting there. After about 3 min. of suspension, it flew back to its formation. It did not change color, but by the time the craft got back, the formation was then the same shade of matte black. It was unbelievable how...black it really was. It seemed to just suck in all light. There were minor indentations around the craft, visible when not luminous, around the "equator". Just short dashes, impressed into the material. This allowed us to notice the rotation before.

After reforming, the formation flew northward at unnatural speeds. There was no time for acceleration. It was just...going. It went from a stop to its desired speed immediately and remained steady at that speed until arriving near the northern formations. They joined to form a loose squarish shape. This larger formation flew northward while gaining altitude at a steady pace. I can't imagine why only the one formation would go into its "undetectable" or stealth mode while in the larger formation, but it remained that way during its exit.

My friend has done no real research into ufology or related fields, and previously was just oblivious. He had no opinion. He always took a tolerant, but non-believing, attitude towards matters like this. I have read numerous books, online articles, and viewed a vast amount of serious multimedia on the subject, including photographs, video recordings, and audio clips. I don't consider myself to be a serious researcher by any means, but I do take matters of this nature seriously.

one clear night me and my friend we were lying in da back of the truck looking at the sky. all of the sudden this triangular object came our of nowhere it had lights on all there corners.

I had to do a double take and asked my friend if she saw the same thing and for sure she aggred she saw the same thing. it was way up in the sky. the triangle looked like it was flipping in the sky not flying straight across it was the craziness thing ever and it looked like it had it had muticolored lights. till this day I've never seen anything like it again.

SUMMARY: Two large lights were seen high in the sky. The objects swung around, changing position with one another, then the top object vanished. The other remained visible as we traveled forabout 20 miles.

I was driving, and my friend ((name delted)) was a passenger. We were on Route 8, on our way from Naugatuck, CT to Norwalk, CT. About 1/3 of the way to Norwalk, in Derby, I spotted two large, bright lights in the sky, and pointed them out to ((name deleted)). The lights were larger than a visible planet would appear; the closest description I can give as to size was that they were similar in size to street lights viewed from a car, only they were clearly very high in the sky, so the actual size of the objects had to be enormous. We watched the objects, which were hovering in place, the one on the left a little higher than the one on the right.

Suddenly, the objects moved, rotating around one another (top to bottom) to switch places with one another. Then, the one which had moved to the top winked out, just vanished. There was a faint trail leading upward where that one had been, but it disappeared quickly.

I drove another few exits to Shelton, CT, where we got off of the highway onto Bridgeport Avenue. We stopped at a car dealership which had a clear view of that part of the sky (I'd say, south, maybe south east part of the sky--I'd have to look at a map to be more specific--we were driving generally south at the time).

We got out of the Jeep and stood in the lot, watching the remaining light. It kept its position.

After a few minutes, we got back into the Jeep, and I continued to drive to Norwalk. We watched the light all the way to Norwalk; it remained the in the same part of the sky the entire way (probably for a total of 20 miles or so), so it had to be pretty high up.

When I dropped ((name deleted)) off at her home, I had one more look at the object by a running track near her house, then I headed home (driving north, so I could no longer see it in front of me). I couldn't see the part of the sky where it was when I got home, so I just went inside. The lights were pale yellow or white-ish in color. I thought they seemed round, but ((name deleted)) said at the time (and has maintained) that they seemed triangular to her. They were definitely not airplanes (we saw plenty of planes in the sky that night--no comparison). They also didn't behave like planes.

I'm 29 years old, female, married, a webmaster/graphic designer by profession. I've never seen any unusual phenomena in the sky before, and have always been skeptical about the whole UFO thing. While these lights may not be alien in nature, I certainly can't explain them (if you figure out what they were, please let me know!)

I don't know ((name deleted)) age (mid to late 40s perhaps). She is currently attending college full time to get her masters in painting, and I believe a certificate to teach (or something of that nature).

Metalic triangle with crimson light in center, hovered very slowly and noislessly over the trees and then came around in an arc and disappeared behind the trees.

I was at my parents' house, which is right on Lake Erie, South of the City of Buffalo. Everyone in the house was sleeping and I was laying out on the pool deck, watching the stars because the sky was perfectly clear. Then I see this thing come up very low over the trees and became quite stunned. It was triangular in shape and metalic with a large, crimson globe in the center. This light was on because I could see it reflecting on the sides of the craft, but it was very dim. The craft silently flew over me at altitude of no more then a few hundred feet, and then arced around behind some more trees. It had disappeared. While this had all been going on, I ran into the house to wake everyone up...no one would get up. So, I came back outside and looked up and it hadn't disappeared yet. I guess that convinced me that it was real. Over the years, I have searched the internet for triagle UFOs to see if I could find someone else that had seen it. It may be interesting to note that I have found a few additional reports from Cleveland, OH (on the other side of the lake from Buffalo) and Pennsylvania (about 100 miles from Derby, NY, where my sighting had been).
