We had just lost power in neighborhood and we were out front watching fireworks when my son saw a flying orange ball that looked to have gas maybe shooting out the back. It flew over us at the rate of an airplane maybe , but it clearly was no flying anything I’ve ever witnessed. Then I was trying to aim my phone to take the photo and it vanished into the sky and it was completely gone .

Several blinking red, white, blue, and green objects in sky moving to one spot.

I woke up a little after midnight. I looked out the bathroom window and a red and white blinking object was in the sky. t stayed in one spot for about 3 minutes and proceeded to move faster and blink red. It went towards the backyard.

I looked out the back window and saw one white, another white, and red flashing lights light up the sky in a line. Looking around the sky, several more triangle shaped objects all oddly moved DOWN towards this line of flashing lights. Two were disc shaped and were fastly blinking red, white, blue, and even green.

My mom and I also heard a powerful unordinary sound. Once ALL these objects made it to this line of flashing lights, we saw continued blinking but the objects seemed to vanish.

Blue-Green flash in the night sky.

I was driving on Route 15 in Hamden after entering the highway from exit 60. I was headed south west towards Orange when I saw a blue flash in the cloudy sky to my south, probably over New Haven or the Long Island Sound.

At first I assumed the flash was lightning - it was an incredibly windy night and lightning wouldn't have been out of the question - but over 1 or 2 seconds the flash turned green before lingering for another second or two, and then disappearing. There was no discernible thunder. The flash could have been one of many things: environmental phenomena, a flare, a bi-product of some sort of industrial/scientific activity, a bi-product of military testing, or a UFO.

Interestingly, later that night as I was driving in Orange, there was a tree down, (from the wind), in the middle of the road. I called the Orange PD to alert them about the tree in the road and they sent an officer out to the scene - this police officer said that she had also seen the flash in the sky.

One final thing to note - there was what seemed like some sort of fire in Milford/Stratford today. The smoke could be seen and smelled from where I live in Orange.

The smoke from this fire may have weirdly filtered the light from a lightning bolt from blue to green and I may have been unable to hear the thunder because it was either too far off or my car was too noisy.

Long Trail of Orange Lights over Long Island/Connecticut

While driving on CT15 near Hamden, CT, a string of orange lights was seen from south to north (Long Island Sound, disappearing overhead to the south of our position). Initially, 3-4 were seen in an area with routine jet traffic. They appeared to be converging to a formation.

My first thought was that they looked like afterburners from jets coming into formation. After watching for a few seconds, several more emerged from below the horizon to the south in a long trail. This continued for several minutes in a trail formation. The objects were moving relative to each other, but primarily south to north. The angle of sight made it difficult to determine if they were level or climbing, but they seemed to disappear into the overcast. Local aviation weather reported overcast ceilings around 5000 feet at the time.

From my vantage, they looked either to be a very large formation of aircraft under afterburner or a large cluster of rockets. The orange lights were the only visible lights. No reports have been seen on news or social media of other observations. This is unusual considering the recent reports of the Russian rocket re-entry in Nevada and the Trident launch off LA.

Object moved from South to North flashing every five seconds, otherwise not visible.

While outside enjoying the cool night air, I felt a very brief bout of dizziness, which is uncommon for me. About 5 seconds later, I saw a very bright flash of light out of the corner of my eye in the Southern sky.

I thought this may be a meteor shower and kept my eyes trained in that direction. I saw another flash, nowhere near as bright, but brighter than a star or an airplane light. This flash appeared further North from the first very bright flash. I continued to watch and saw another flash about five seconds later, again further North. Between flashes, the object was not visible. I kept watching and saw a flash every five seconds continuing to move North. The flash was mostly white, but had a bluish tinge to it. Although the object had a Northerly heading, it did not appear to move in an exactly straight line.

The time from visibility of each flash to fade out was not as fast as the usual airplane strobe, it was noticeably slower. Also, there were no accompanying steady lights that airplanes usually have.

I had the impression the object was far above normal air traffic. I cannot dismiss the possibility this was a man-made craft. However, I have never seen flashing like this and I often go out to gaze at the stars with the unaided eye.

I experienced no further dizziness. As is usual in the evening (and most other times) I was sober at the time of the sighting.

red/orange list object with lights pulsing. object slowly zigzagging and circling; disappeared then reappeared much closer

It was to the southeast of me, just over a hilltop (appeared very far away). thought I was looking at jupiter, a star or a satellite, but noticed it appeared to be blinking and while it was predominantly orange/red in color, there appeared to be glimpses of green and white.

After staring at it a while, I noticed that not only was it blinking/pulsing, but it was moving. At first it appeared to zigzag and then it appeared to be moving in small circles. I watched it for about ten minutes.

Eventually it began to get dimmer and dimmer as it pulsed until I could no longer see it.

I went back outside about twenty minutes later and noticed an object that looked the same to the southwest, but it appeared to be a lot closer (was about 3 times as big).

While my view at this time was obscured by a maple tree (I was too scared to go onto the lawn and get a better view), I was able to see that it was definitely a aircraft of some sort. The pulsing/blinking lights were more distinct. It was continuing in the same odd zigzagging movements.

Without knowing how far away it was, it's hard to say whether it was moving far or quickly. But the movements were barely noticeable at first.

There was no sound.

Saw what I thought was a plane in sky but it seemed unusually close to trees. Bright yellow orange lights started slowly decending and then made a quick half arch in sky downwards. It almost appears to be an asteroid coming into earth's atmosphere because it was so bright. It then started to move across the sky lateraly continuing to slowly decend. It did not act like a plane or helicopter, but I did think that there would be a plane crash because of the way it was decending. I heard no roar of engines. I followed it in the sky by driving in the direction of it. It did seem to hover at one point and then I lost it behind the trees. It was definitely a bright light, I could not make out any shapes because it was dark. But I have never seen anything behave like that in the sky.

Clear skies, mid-afternoon saw craft come into view. It was silver, no windows, no wings; a very long, overall tapered rectangular shape.

It's lead and trailing ends were symmetrical, at first appearing to be the nose of a jetliner but then veering away at about a 60° angle, gradually rounding to a ling, flat surface that extended a long way until the opposite end mirrored the front. So, it was apparently symmetrical top to bottom, as well as side to side (or front to back).

It's progress slowed to a crawl and then it appeared to hover. Then it started getting bright, like it was reflecting light. The sun didn't seem to be a likely source because of the time of day and position of the craft.

The light got brighter and brighter, more intense and making it hard to keep looking. The light became so big, it appeared to be emanating from the craft and making the central portion of the craft more and more bright.

Then, suddenly just like that, it wasn't there anymore. No movement was visible before it vanished. It simply was there one moment and gone the next.

I WAS ABOUT TO GET GAS AT 3AM WHEN I LOOK UP WHEN I HAD SEEN VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS COMEING DOWN WITH A BRIGHT RED LIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE CRAFT,AND AS IT WAS GETTING LOWER THE LIGHTS ON THE SIDES OF THE CRAFT WENT OUT ALONG WITH THE RED CENTER LIGHT TURNING DIME THEN OUT THAT GAVE OFF A LOAD SOUND AS HEARING A STWICH BEING THROWN,AS THE CRAFT WAS APPROACHING A HIGH WAY OVER PASS THEN I SAW THE CRAFT VAPORIZED ITSELF AS IT GOT OVER THE OVER PASS AND REFORM,IT THEN MOVE TO LEFT AND IT APPEAR TO CORRECT IT SELF TO GO RIGHT.I HOPE THIS IS OF SOME IMPORTANCE.

Three hundred fifty objects in the sky with different color lights moving, one disc shaped with on bottom yellow, green, red lights.

At nine o'clock at night we were outside and saw many objects flying, one, two, three, and even four at a time that was forming patterns in the sky. They were making triangles, lines, circles or just coming together and then apart. The night was clear, there was no noise, they were moving fast and coming together and then apart. Three lights stayed in a line for about one hour and did not move. One of the objects appeared disc shaped and was overhead close enough to see the bottom which had two green lights, two red lights, and two yellow lights underneath it. It appeared as some of them were stars in the sky and then started moving. Some of them seemed to have a red light down the middle. There were blue, and green lights. All together in a ninety minute period there was approximately three-hundred fifty objects in the sky together. Some moving and some staying still. We called the Police Department and the officer saw them and had no explanation but did not seem concerned. He thought they were airplanes. Airplanes make noise, these didn't, airplanes are not in the air six moving at the same time. There were eight witnesses to this, and nobody seemed to have any idea what this was. We will go out again tonight and see if there is anything there. These looked very suspicious and not normal.

I LOOKED UP INTO THE SKY AT APPROXIMATELY 1:48 AM AND i NOTICED A BOOMERANG SHAPED OBJECT. IT WAS YELLOWISH WHITE IN COLOR. IT WAS MUCH LONGER THAN AN AIRPLANE. I FOLLOWED THE BOOMERANG SHAPED LIGHT FROM THE YARD TO THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE WHILE RUNNING AFTER IT LOOKING UP. IT FLEW THROUGH THE SKY AT A SPEED FASTER THAN A JET. I KEPT MY EYES ON IT THE WHOLE TIME UNTIL IT QUICKLY DROPPED PAST THE STAR I WAS KEEPING MY EYE ON AS WELL,AND IT SEEMED TO GET SMALLER AND DISSAPPEARED TOTALLY.

Fast moving large bright object seen over south central Connecticut at 1:35 AM on 3-28-02.

Please be sure that I am as serious as could be. I had just come home from work. I just stepped out of my car when I saw it just below and to the right of the moon. It was traveling very quickily, with no sound, in a westerly direction. My first impression was that this was a piece of space junk re-entering the atmosphere. However it was by far the largest object that I have ever seen of this type, meaning such as meteors. It appeared to be about one twentieth the size of the full moon and brighter. The leading edge seemed to be a greenish color. I had limited view of the object due to my house.

Observed venus size and color (white) object through binoculars moving slowly accross the sky during day of about 3 minute duration.

I was out walking in the country using a strong pair of binoculars and I was observing a helicopter flying about 2,000 ft when I noticed something behind the helicopter but I believe much higher.

It was a clear and crisp day and at first I thought it might be venus because it was a very small and bright white round object and not moving, I thought.

I have observed venus on other bright clear days in the distant past. But as I was watching this object which I had centered in the binocular lense, which I thought might be venus I saw a branch slowly come into view in the binocular lense. It came into view much faster than any earth rotation would have on a planet. So it was not venus as I first thought. It was not any type of aircraft known to me. Possibly it could have been one of many earth satellites. But are satellites observable in broad daylight moving so slowly? An email responce to my question would be appreciated.

We saw a lg.bullet shaped object rise,vertically upwards.

As I left a small store, in a small shopping plaza,to return to my car, my eight year old son,who was in the car,pointed upwards to me. I entered our car and discussed what we viewed.We then,both,got out of the car, to watch a thick stream of pinkish smoke(gas)...rise vertically on the horizon,very soon(seconds)after,which,we saw a large bullet shaped,object, Very shiny and silver,with one circular ring around it's middle,(and apparently attached)start to rise vertically. We had great difficulty,in not paying attention to it.I did not seek the attention of any other people in the lot,there were very few. We saw it reach a certain altitude,then,saw,it start to fly horizontally,left,to,us.There were no flashing lights or sound to be heard. We,then,got in the car,to follow as best we could,the direction,it was headed.We travelled approximately one tenth of a mile(if that)to see only a grayish line of smoke(gas)in the sky.

Object appearede as a bright light on horizon line then it moved toward us, we knew then it was not a plane.

I never reported this because the few times I had spoken of this people thought I was crazy. Anyways, A friend and I had snuck out of my house one particular evening to meet up with his girlfriend. We went over to a baseball park named Legion Feild a popular late night hangout for high-school kids. As we were sitting on the blecher my friend noticed a bright light up above the horizon line. I noticed that it looked like a flashlight or maybe even an incoming plane, but we are not in the way of any airport runways. As we watched it approach where we were sitting we noticed it moved slower than a normal aircraft would have and that it made a sound that I could only describe as a vroom vroom vroom sound, maybe in vocal tones it sounds more accurate. I cannot remember exactly but I do vaguly recall a light beneath the craft, I just don't remember color andf if it rotated. My friend and I thought it very strange and noted that it did resemble what the stealth bomber might look like if it passed overhead. The craft was very low to the ground as well it only felt as if it was about 500 or so feet above us. We watched it pass over our heads slowly and disappear over the treeline behind us. It has been 11 years since I have mentioned this sighting and I am sorry if this is too late to report. I do remember my friend girlfriend showing up at the park shortly after our sighting and we asked if she saw or heard anything, she said no. Is it possible we were the only two who were allowed to see it?
