Naked eye, looked like a black center with lights around the perimeter and rays in all directions, with SLR telephoto a silver sphere

To the naked eye looked like a black center with lit perimeter and rays of light around all clock dials, possible a reflection from behind if the object was reflective in nature. With Sony Alpha SLR and telephoto in low light it was a perfect sphere silver in color with the texture of TV noise (colorful pixels). Object was noted around 5:45pm EST and slowly moved over 1 hr from 236 degrees West to 274 degrees North West from my location. Very difficult to take a photo without stability and a tripod.

3 disks gathered in the midnight sky

took dog out back. crisp clear night-early morning. dark few clouds. flat terrain.

approx 1/4 mile in North East noticed rotating lights very close to the ground 300-500 ft rotating lights mostly white-occasional green or red glimmer no idea how long it was there before I came out, it hovered for probably 10 minutes then, rose straight up under cloud level in 2-4 seconds hovered for 2-3 minutes, out of nowhere there were 2 more hovering close by all 3 were there for only seconds, 1 very fast spun off south south west gone in about 5 seconds the second followed just after the first disappeared the primary one continued to hover moved over Elwood and hovered about 3 minutes then moved off in the direction the other 2 left in it was traveling slower and appeared to mimic an airplane in speed had I not seen it lift and hover I might have mistaken it for a plane definitely disks with rotating lights craft at the ground appeared to be very large and dwarfed the outlines of barns in the distance my dog stayed very quiet there was no sound or noise

horizontal string of lights in the night

Dark night, sitting on the bed on second floor, observed bright, deep red glowing round(possibly lights, possibly some sort of exhaust portals) hover past my upstairs window at approximately 1/16-1/8 mile off across a newly harvested farm field.

I very quickly went from bed to window.

The red "lights" appeared to be horizontally linear, quite a few.

I opened the window and was dumbstruck by absolute silence.

The "craft" came into sight initially from my left and moved slowly and silently to my right.

I am not aware of any color as it was pitch dark.

When I reached the window, it had already entirely crossed the field.

My viewpoint was from the side only and it could have been oval or round or otherwise. I could not discern size from bottom to top.

There is a neighboring long white barn with outside lights in the near distance behind my residence.

The "craft appeared to be between the barn and my residence.

It appeared to be at least twice the length of the barn as it moved over the trees, turned slightly to the left and quietly hovered out of sight.

The speed of the object did not appear to change. There was absolutely zero sound.

I observed no other lights than those at the side.

I determine the shape as saucer only because the linear "lights" did not change in length as it turned and disappeared over the nearby treeline.

When it had passed I noticed all 3 of my pets were silently at my feet.

It is to be considered that Otis AFB is not a great distance from here; however, I am not aware of that we are capable of absolutely silent flight.

Large contrail running south to north then turned 90 degrees to the west. This contrail was 200% larger and seemed very low to the ground compared to normal contrails.

No craft was seen nor heard.

UFO sound only

Elwood Illinois, 22:05 while watching TV my wife and I heard a noise that sounded like a helicopter whopping noise. However the revolutions were too slow to be a helicopter (I flew on helicopters of all types in Viet Nam) the noise was very loud.

It sounded like the blade of a helicopter came loose and was headed into the house, I was almost afraid to run to the window (for fear of debris), but I did anyway, I saw nothing.

This noise only lasted about 10 to 15 seconds.

Disc shaped object observed travelling at a high rate of speed in thunderstorm

I was following a storm as it developed near my home, and was taking pictures. This shot was taken facing due east. As I was framing the picture, using a through-the-lens camera, and while depressing the shutter I saw an object flash across the screen at a very high rate of speed. I looked immediately to see if I had captured the object in the digital image and I had. I am a professional consultant, and while I have some interest in UFO phenomenon, had not previously had any other experience of this type. I did some adjustments of the photo's to better view the object, but that's about it. I did submit this for posting at the Coast to Coast AM site, and it was published, but I forgot about it. Was recently at your site, and at the same time came across the pictures again, and decided to submit it, unfortunately 2 years after the fact. I just checked and interestingly, there is another report from Illinois of a disk shaped object at 15:50 that day. Did not check to see distance betwen Morrison and Elwood. Elwood is about 60 miles SW of Chicago.

Cheveron shaped ojects in V shape formation; daytime sighting, silent moving

We were seated on our side porch as we noticed a set of 9 objects of Chevron/boomerang shape in a "V" formation was moving from the east to the west, approximately 60 degrees across the northern part of the sky.

There were white lights on the bottom each of the objects. Their coloration was silver and they moved silently across the sky. It was hard to determine height, but one could say about 20,000 feet.

The weather was clear blue skys and temperatures in the low 70s. Though this area is a valid flight path for airplanes going into Kennedy, La Guardia, Farmingdale and Islip airports; this sighting was certainly not airplanes, baloons or objects of that nature.

9/20/67 Elwood N.J. cigar/disc 15seconds object moved slowly at tree line and was reported by paper next day

I was 14 or 15, thats why I am not sure of the year.It was right at dusk.I was leaning on a fence talking to an elderly neighbor lady.As I looked across the street which there was a field of approximite lenth of +/- eigth mile and an auto salvage yard about the same lenth and againgst the treeline I saw a slowly moving UFO.Isaid "Hey look" to my companion,which she replied "I wonder what that is".We viewed the object for 15 seconds then I went running into the house hollering for my granfather.We both ran back to the fence and the object was gone.My granfather(a police man at the time)question my companion and she denied the incident.It was also seen by an elderly man further down the road(about a mile)who called the police station.It was reported the following day in the paper that the local air force base picked up a Ufo on radar in our area.THE OBJECT was cigar shape,possibly disc,it looked grey as it was getting dark,about three to four car lengths long,moving about the speed of a man jogging.It was at the heigth of the tree's about forty to fifty feet.From the bottom to the top of the object was eight to ten feet.A row of lights ran down the center of the craft perhaps a quarter or a fifth of the heigth of the object,they where round and were an alternatenation of the colors red and green,in which a white light ran sequencitly around the craft.The colors were very sharp,with no haze,blearing or beam.
