Three of us were standing on the front porch smoking and I saw a shimmer in the sky appear suddenly. Immediately pulled out my phone to begin trying to record. Managed one good recording with zoom. Have other recordings that aren't as properly done.

2 bright star like lights in the NNW sky

two bright star like lights appeared in the sky. I witnessed them when letting my dogs out. They were 2 or 3 times brighter than any other star in the sky. they were in the Northern NNW sky. They appeared to get a little closer to each other, then they faded away. don't know how long they were in the sky before I saw them. It was around 8:00PM

Multiple triangular, hovering, and, well lighted craft spotted in formation in unincorporated Polk County, Missouri.

On Friday the 24th night of July, 2015, a friend and myself were out driving the back roads of the incorporated county. We decided to stop out by an old quiet farmhouse out very northwest of Bolivar and Morrisville to have a cigarette before returning home for the night.

As we sat in the car on the roadside we thought we saw a couple of airplanes, but soon realized that the group of lights we were seeing moving toward us from over the fields were moving too slowly and too low to the ground to be airplanes.

The formation of oblong triangles moved swiftly and silently in different attack pattern formations. They each emitted several lights but it appeared as if there were smaller light bars along the midsection of the hypotenuse of each craft and circular flood light type landing lights that were emitted from beneath all three corners. The craft seemed to do what can only be described as several flock formation maneuvers.

Elliptical shaped fireball.

at 3 after 2300 i noticed what i thought was an ember floating behind the trees as it cleared the trees its shape was eliptical it looked like it was burning and at times it looked translucent it flew slower than the lifeflight heli and at about the same height and it was a little longer than the heli

i shined the flashlight at it but it kept goingthere was no sound at that distance i would have heard the heli. within 5 min after the object passed two commercial jets came from the nw heading east. the object came from s.e. of bolivar heading n.w. aprox 5 miles n.
of town the color was orange to amber that is what made it look like fire burning

Bright reddish and yellow lights west of Bolivar.

I was outside smoking a cigarette and I looked to the western sky. I saw a bright reddish light, much brighter than the stars. I watched it closely and it appeared to have a white or yellowish light circling it. At times the reddish light was not visible and only the other light was. It was moving up and down in a small area and at times would move up diagonally very fast before moving back down to the original position slowly.

It then flashed blue once and started to slowly move north. As it was moving north it went back to the original light pattern, and was getting harder to see. It eventually moved behind a tree line and I lost visual contact.

Two craft chase over Bolivar.

My wife and I were getting into the car to go looking at Christmas lights when we both noticed some unusual lights in the southern sky. At first we thought they were planes because we get a lot of air traffic over us. After watching these two crafts for about a minute we both realized they were not planes.

The front craft appeared as a blinking light. The second which was following close behind was two solid lights with a blinking one in front making a rather squashed triangular shape. At first we assumed the second craft was a plane with wingtip lights. But there was no sound, and it appeared to be flying very high. For it to be a plane it would had to have been much larger than any planes we currently use. The second craft appeared to be chasing the front one. The front craft was keeping a steady pace towards the west, whereas the second craft would slow to a complete stop in mid air before resuming and getting right back to the same distance from the first. This is what stood out at first. After a few minutes of this behavior the second craft came to a complete stop once again, but this time it turned in the air about 45 degrees. Watching the lights on what I’ll call the wingtips and the flashing light in front we could clearly see it turning while stopped. It did this a few times, turning south then back to the west before turning south finally and slowly flying off and disappearing before it reached the horizon.

As this was occurring the first craft continued west but at a slower pace. Once the second craft was gone the first craft’s light stopped blinking and became a very bright solid light. This solid light would last for about 10 seconds before it would dim back to the blinking light. It did this about 2 times before another aircraft came into view from the west, at which point the first craft started to turn back towards the east. It did the solid light to blinking light one more time then disappeared from view as the aircraft from the west got close to it.

This took place over the course of about 10 minutes, on 12/18/12, at 7:15PM.

Multiple lights and Disc shaped craft spotted south of Bolivar.

I was sitting outside at 3:15 am on a smoke break. I was looking at the western sky like I usually do and noticed a light which at first glance I thought was a twinkling star. Then I noticed it was too bright to be a star and appeared to be moving in a small figure eight motion. I also saw a few flashes that appeared to be orange smoke. This really surprised me because I was under the impression that this was very far away. I then noticed a smaller light that appeared to come from the first. This light was moving east and flashing infrequently. It would flash a few times then was out of site until it flashed again at a significant distance from the last flashes. As this light got about halfway across my field of vision 5 to 6 more of these small flashing lights appeared and moved out of my field of vision in every direction. After these lights were gone a larger "craft" which I originally thought was a plane came into view. It had a flash! ing light like any plane does but I noticed the whole side of the craft was lit. I could clearly see the shape to be what I can only describe as a disc or saucer viewed from the side. I watched this craft moving west towards the original light and it slowly dimmed out after it passed the original light. The original light was still in the sky when I went back inside.

Bolivar, MO. Bright white light moving across the sky then vanishing.

I was outside and looked up at the stars and noticed a solid white light moving across the sky. It was much brighter than the stars.

Not twenty seconds after I noticed it the light vanished.

I have seen this on multiple occasions over the past five years in Bolivar and Springfield.

June 01, 2010 V-shaped cluster

Someone just sent me a link to this site and upon reading several of these events, i noticed two "June 01, 2010" sightings. this is the exact night and same formation of lights i saw! I was with a couple friends walking on the golf course real late, and i happened to look up and saw 8-10 lights moving NW. it was weird though, they were moving REALLY fast and it was totally quiet. Just thought i'd share. Thanks

12/28/06 three lights circling at different speeds

we saw 3 lights in the sky circling like a grand opening for a new buisness. however, we realized we live in the sticks and that would be most likely impossible. we eliminated the possibility of christmas lights due to the location and the slow traveling movement. it looked like three lights going in a circle chasing one another. two catching up to the first like bumping into, then back to a uniform circle, then repeating the same fast- slow pattern. at 20:20, we were near the lake within a quarter mile away and realized there was nothing new in the little town nearby to have a grand opening. as we walked toward home, we realized the lights were now over nothing but a field. we saw that the light seemed to have moved slowly since the location at the lake in a east- north-east direction. we went in.

I saw 9 total ufo's in Bolivar, Mo.on 6/29/04 and others saw them too.

I was going hwy 13 5 miles south of bolivar and noticed 8 saucers that blinked on and off after I heard some one call in from the Art Bell progam coast to coast, I was heading up that way anyway and I came upon them heading East in a V formation with strobbing lights and beams coming down from them going over the rural area as if they were looking for something, within 3 miles from me and a clear night so I could see the shape very well I looked to my right and about a distance of 3 blocks I saw a craft rising out of the bottom of the gully and light surrounded all around it glowing yellowish golden color. They had extreme fast speed and stopped on a dime and rose up and down the terrian. If anyone wants to contact me write to [email protected]

Starlike object moves very slowly west of Hwy 13 in Boliver then hovers then shoots up skyward unlike any airplane

[Forwarded report by Brian Adams of the Missouri Investigators Group (UFOMIG.com) received 6/30/04.] I am a security guard for a business in south-west Missouri. I am also a former police officer. I have over 25 years in either the police or security industry. And, I am not prone to "seeing things." I was working late and walking through the parking lot at approximately 3:00am. The sky was crytal clear and the wind was calm. I first saw the object out of the corner of my eye. At first, I thought it was a star. But, I noticed it was moving very slowly. Thinking it was an airplane, I watched it. But, it was moving too slowly for an airplane. And, it did not have any of the warning lights common to an airplane. The object moved very slowly from north to south. It was moving in a straight and level manner. It did not twist and turn at all. As I watched, the object slowed down to almost a stop. At that point, I was convinced it was not an airplane. The object was just west of the town of Bolivar. It was moving parallel to 13 highway. It had the appearance of a small airplane flying approximately 2000 feet above the ground. I was standing on the east side of 13 highway and it was on the west side. It appeared to be less than one mile away and approximately 40 to 45 degrees above the horizon. There was some shimmering. But, not much. After about 10 or 15 seconds, the object sped up to its original speed. It continued to travel south for about another 20 seconds. The object then shot stright up into the sky at an incredible rate of speed. It moved so fast, I could not track it. I did not see it again.

I watched for it over the following two evenings, but did not see it again. I have worked at this business for the past several months, and this is the first time I have ever seen anything like this in the area.

Even though I saw something similar many years ago in Colorado, I am not really sold on the existence of UFO's. But, I would really like to know what that was.

A number of objects moving in sky with red and white lights in specific formations

For thrity-six minutes I observed one object that had red and white lights go around it. Sever minutes later, I observed three more in a triangle form like you would see if fighter planes were in a flanking position. There was one bright light that remained stationary for about twenty minutes. Then the bright white light started doing eliptical patterns. Then as I look to observe the first object, it was doing eliptical patterns in the opposite directions as the bright light. All that I saw was recorded by time in a notebook and I even mapped out the things I saw. The bright white light at two different times emmitted a white light and a red light that went away from it and went out of view.

Silent fluorescent orange cigar-shaped UFO with neon pink glow around the edges disappeared in an instant

We moved to 123 S. Oakland in Bolivar, MO in the summer of 1971. It was probably July or August of that year when my incident occurred. I was nine years old, playing outside with my five-year old nephew. We were pretending the sidewalk in front of the house was our net while we were playing badminton. The yellow box in the diagram represents our house and the "X" is where I was standing when I saw something over the Coca-Cola plant across the street. It was cigar-shaped and appeared out of the clouds in bright fluorescent orange with a neon pink glow around the edges--it was as long as the block (orange arrow in diagram). I ran inside to get a grown-up to come look at it, but by the time we came back outside it had already disappeared. Since it was just before dusk they told me it was probably the sun playing tricks on me. However it left quite an impression on me--it wasn’t a blimp and it definitely wasn’t the sun shining off of anything. With all of the UFOs in the news lately I decided maybe I should tell my story as well in case it were to collaborate anyone else’s claim if they happened to see something similar around that time.

My brother still lives at this location but I would prefer that we remain anonymous (people still think I’m crazy if I mention seeing a UFO). I’m not good at guessing measurements so I am sending an aerial view as well to give you an idea of the length.
