Three large orange objects over Albany NY 10/31/20

Oct.31st 8:00pm Est.Temp.35 F. Stepped out my front door facing West to retrieve my container of candy and flashlight. I noticed a few orange glowing objects heading due North over Rensselaer and over Albany NY. The objects seemed to vary slightly from a bright orange with yellow interference. The objects were traveling at a steady slow rate and equal distance 1/4 mi.apart from South to North. I Ran into the house to get my phone to document these bright orange silent objects. My phone had no data available at the time. I grabbed my 750 candle power flashlight and aimed directly at the last orange object and attempted to signal the object, it proceeded North and faded away over Albany.

Eight lights in a rectangular formation

I stopped just past an intersection, to take pictures of what I thought was a pretty sky. I took several photos in sequence. I didn't notice anything in particular. When I looked at the pictures on my phone, I noticed a white spot in the sky. I have a good phone, so I zoomed in on it. It looks to be a series of lights. Either 4 with a reflection off the cloud to look like 8, or actually 8 lights in a rectangluar formation.

Light like expended firework display....no fireworks in the area per local PD.

While out walking my dog, I saw a bright, stationary, light in the south western sky over the port of Albany, New York. Thought at first was a star or an airplane. Upon a closer look through binoculars, the light appeared to be subtly dimming and brightening, and also appeared to have subtle flashing red lights.

Suddenly, it appeared like a spent fireworks display with uneven and jagged "smokey like" tenticle like entrails. The object appeared to be stationary and not moving.

I called the local PD who had no reports of a similar sighting. I went out about an hour latter to walk my dog and saw the same object more in the north eastern horizon and there appeared to be a second similar object slightly south west of it.

There are lots of commercial aircraft that fly near here...Albany International Airport is about 10 miles from my house. These were not airplanes!

*** I am a television producer. This was emailed to our local TV weather center email address in Chicago. I'm simply passing on the text of the email while keeping the party involved anonymous. *** "There's something really freaky in the sky just west of a mile north of Rensselaer. It's at least twice as high as the jets flying over. Appears to have maybe three lights, one of them blinking. Moves north, then southeast, east, west, and every which way. Has been there for at least a half hour. We are kind of freaking out. Can you help us find out what it is please? Thank you much!"

object flying west to east stoped and hovered changed shape into two disks and shot straight up

was a clear night me and my wife were looking up at the stars i noticed this object flying west to east over some trees down the street probably 500 feet up i told my wife too look at that thing up there it seemed strange cause there were no flashing lights like an airplane would have but moved like one anyway i kept watching it and as it came above the trees across the street it stopped in midair and sat for about 5 seconds just hovering there and then it split in to two glowing bright perfectly round disk and shot straight up at the same instance at speeds that we cant even fathom my jaw dropped to the floor it scared me a little but also confirmed my suspicions of ufos and the technology that exist not of this world did anybody else see this if so id luv to talk to you about it by the way my wife was floored shes never belived in ufos untill that night she says shed tell anybody what she saw

One evening about an hour after sundown in 1972, approximately half-way between Rensselaer and Francesville, Indiana, an elderly friend and I were outside talking together when we stopped to observe a lighted object flying a northwesterly course passing directly over our position. We first thought it was a commercial jet, but we heard no engine sound at all. I estimate the altitude to have been fifteen to twenty thousand feet. About the time the object was directly overhead, we heard what sounded like a military aircraft in hot pursuit. Its rate of closure was fast enough that it was about to overtake the silent object. We stood transfixed as the silent object made a precise 90 degree turn to the southwest and accelerated OUT OF SIGHT in no more than two seconds, leaving the military aircraft helplessly behind. We watched for a short time after that, but nothing else happened. That is all we saw. I verbally verified it with my elderly friend to be sure we both saw the same event.

She confirmed that she had.

About the same period of time, I can't remember if it was before or after, along this same stretch of road, a farmer lost some of his pigs to mutilation. Their nostrils and rectums were surgically removed. No tracks led up to or away from the carcasses.

Local law enforcement was unable to make any determination as to who or what it was. As far as I know, the case was never closed.

object appeared and hovered over a minute in broad daylight less than 100 feet off the ground of a parking lot in Rensselaer, NY

Object was domed at the top, had a beveled center portion and an additional smaller beveled section at the bottom. This bottom section was surrounded by colored lights that did not revolve but rather flashed.

It was hovering over a parking lot on a sunday afternoon and was less than 100 feet off the ground. It wasn't shinny but more of a dull metallic finish. It also made no noise.

My best friend noticed it first and fell off his bike. I only noticed because I heard the crash of his bike as I was riding next to him. He was staring up and speechless.

I too was startled but I asked him if we should call the police. Mind you I was only 10 years old and inexperienced at this.

He didn't answer and at that point the lights on the bottom section instantly began to spin at a greater revolution than before and flew off in a straight line disappearing over the hudson river in a matter of no more than 5 seconds.

There was only a slight humm eminating from the craft as it accelerated.

My friend was not able to function in school for a long period of time after this. He would just stare blankly at the chalkboard.

I attempted to verify this event with him 15 years later after we grew up. Even then he was visably upset and did not want to talk about it, waving me off whenI began to ask the question.

I have not seen another object day or night since this occurred.
