Two objects moving together like a clock pendulum

I was observing the NE sky and observed a bright object appear that was clearly not part of the Big Dipper, Little Dipper and Draco constellations. Not to mention it was too early to start seeing any of those stars. The object was as bright as Venus would be at that time of day, but it was moving in a south westerly direction. The movements of the object were slightly erratic and it appeared to speed up and slow down. After watching this object for a couple minutes, I concluded it was not a plant, star, or satellite, so I hastily set up my Celestron telescope and was able to view the object for about 10 seconds before it disappeared. The object had an orange hue, was roughly cigar shaped and one end darker than the other. The interesting part is that there was another, much smaller object moving with the main object. The smaller object was circular in shape and had the same orange hue. Here is the interesting part... The objects were connected. I could see w! hat appeared to be a rigid rod connecting the two objects, the smaller object was definitely tethered to the larger object. The rod shaped object had the same orange hue. How they moved together is what blew my mind. The larger object controlled the smaller object in a manner much like a person would do if they were walking and playing with a yo-yo at the same time. Specifically, the smaller object appeared to swing forward and alongside the larger object, in an arc, until it was in front. As soon as the smaller object reached the front, it would start swinging backward, following the same arc until it was behind the larger object. As soon as it reached the back, it would swing back forward. Another way to illustrate this motion is that it was like how pendulum swings relative to the clock face on a grandfather clock, but with an arc of 180 degrees instead of 20 or 30 degrees. I watched this cycle for several iterations before it disappeared. I wish I had a camera connecte! d to my telescope because this would have been amazing footage! . This w as definitely NOT the SpaceX satellite train. I am an experienced star gazer/amateur astronomer.

We where sitting outside in our yard and I looked up thought I was looking at a star and it started to move. Then it got extremely bright. Then it split into three and went straight up in the sky. Within seconds it was gone ((name deleted))

I saw a red light up in the sky with two white lights falling around it the white lights are moving much faster around it. A saucer type shape with a small dome on top was hovering in the sky that continuously cycled colors from red, yellow and green, hovered for about 5 minutes then flew away horizontally, and disappeared from view behind trees.

Satelite looking objects moving unintelligibly with shocking ability to change direction and stop

My brother and I were star gazing on the front porch, with as much light pollution eliminated as possible. We were looking for shooting stars and satellites. I have been an armature star gazer and into astronomy for over 15 years.

We noticed what looked like a satellite moving sporadically and seemingly unintelligibly. Its ability to change direction, increase speed, and stop, was unlike I've ever ever experienced in my life. Clouds became patchy and light which hid the object on us several times yet the object stayed in the general vicinity of the sky.

When the object became unable to see from a small cloud I noticed that there were actuall many such objects in the sky. They became easy to pick out due to their consistent light yellow tinge they had; not a bright white like your average satellite.

At this point we realized this was exceptionaly abnormal and awoke anyone we could in the house and visibility was decreasing due to dawn beginning and cloud cove! r. My sister was visiting and saw them. My wife (in my experience is not the best at spotting stars/satellites/shooting stars) couldn't pick them out, but in her defense the cloud cover was getting dense and I could only pick out one obvious one to show her which she missed. Some objects seemed to operate alone yet some seemed to be in a disorganized group of three.

Best part is this happened ten minutes after telling my brother about a satellite I saw way up north that moved from side to side and that I couldn't believe my memory cause I saw it when I was maybe 7 years old and I wish I could see something like that again to validate my experience.

I am a ufo skeptic, I don't necessarily believe in aliens, I think most people who see ufos are nuts, and I always wished I could see something that would change my beliefs. I don't know if my beliefs are changed but that was the most bizarre and unexplainable thing I've ever seen in the sky in my life.

I stayed up till the sun was up and they became no longer visible. They left the area tre! nding wi thout a straight course to the west.

There was 10 to 20 of them...due to clouds and the objects activity it was almost impossible to keep track of them all. Wow

Auditory phenomena of unknown origin repeated at same time at two week interval

I live in Northern Illinois about 90 miles northwest of Chicago and 4 miles south of Walworth county Wisconsin.

At about 2 am on the morning of September 23, 2013, I was awakened by a very loud sound coming from outside. It sounded like an electronic fax signal only much louder.

I went to the sliding door of my bedroom that opens to the outside. I live on the edge of a 675 acre natural area. There was nothing out there, no visible lights or vehicles. The single long electronic signal was followed by a long sequence of signals that sounded like morse code, very crisp and loud and almost metallic. The sound seemed to be coming from all around. I could not see the sky over head because I was standing under a porch roof. I was considering walking out into the yard so I could see what was over the building when the sound suddenly stopped. It was then dead silent. No sounds of any kind.

In a few seconds I heard the fax signal and then the morse code sound coming faintly from a distance in the northwest. Then it was gone. There was no visual phenomena associated with the sound.

Again this morning on October 8, 2013, I was awakened at 1:57 am by the tail end of the fax-like signal, followed by the loud morse code like signals. Again I went to my door and opened it. There was nothing visible, just the sound enveloping me from all directions, very loud. The sky that was visible to me from the porch looking north was clear and stars were visible. I was afraid to go out into the yard.

At 2:04 am the signals stopped suddenly, followed by dead silence. Then in a few seconds they were repeated coming very faintly but discernibly from the northwest. Again, there was nothing visual to associate with the sound.

I stood at the opened door and continued to listen. Whatever was emitting the signals was travelling northwest and repeating them at intervals, because I heard another set coming even more faintly as if even farther away. Then I could not hear anymore.

I have lived here eight years and am very familiar with the local sounds. This is totally unlike anything I have ever heard. The quality of the sound is particularly unique as it seems to come from all directions in the immediate vicinity. I felt cocooned in the sound.

I was wondering if this is reportable as a possible UFO. These are not sight experiences, but they are so odd I am wondering if you may have received similar reports of sound experiences of unknown origin.

I am an accountant, I have two master’s degrees, I am healthy, do not drink or use any substances, and I have no hearing abnormalities. And I am very curious to find out if you have received any other reports of this nature.

3 circles in hay field

3 five foot circles in a seven foot center to center triangle in my hay field all vegatation was killed and nothing grew the next year this year vegatation is very short but the circles are still very easy to see

Summary : I was just about to goto bed and I looked out my window for some strange reason and I looked to the south and I saw this very bright light in the sky. The object was going up at a fast rate and when it went behind the clouds you could see the clouds! The object looked flat from a distance and it had no flashing lights on it to tell me that it was a airplane or heliocopter. It had two bright lights that were side by side with a small space in between. I opened my window and I couldn't hear a sound. I live in the country and there isn't a lot of noise that I hear besides crickets. It startled me a lot. When it reached a point in the sky, it sat there for a couple of minutes, pulsing with its lights. Then it moved very quickly over to the West and sat the for a couple minutes again pulsing. Then it got very bright and then it just disappeared.

the object seemed very large and flat from a distance. There were two very bright lights side by side going upwards. no sound, no blinking lights to indicate it was a airplane or heliocopter. when it stopped, it was pulsing. very lightly. When the object was in the West, It got very bright it had a somewhat blue tint to the light when it got bright. and then it just disappeared.....
