Seen a ball of light in the distance hovering in place. As for the craft it was emitting and orange/yellow color. In the matter of a split second the craft took off in speeds no capable by anything to my knowledge. It then hit a 90 degree turn in the same speed and was out of sight.

Red/Orange fireballs or lights above northern Chicago suburbs

Sitting outside on balcony, looking at the sky above the town area I began to notice five red or orange lights moving around each other from my right to the center of where I could see (as someone with flying experience I recognized this immediately as something out of the ordinary),

they spun around each other horizontally and relatively close to each other but moving a little bit father away, coming in and out of visibility, and about the size of what the stars seemed to me.

At this point, we began to notice almost all the stars in our sight began moving as if they were vibrating. Basically simultaneously to the beginning of the stars moving, the red objects vanished.

25 minutes later (10:20 PM) we went back outside to find that all of the stars moved up into the sky almost directly above us, there was a jet flying through the area that the lights were in when they disappeared.

Weird twinkling light or array of lights flies around, then disappears

Driving North on Wilmot Road, I watched a twinkling object which appeared to fluctuate significantly in its trajectory travel west to east and disappear.

The object seemed to be moving (flying?) at a fairly high altitude, came across as being about the size of a distant aircraft or bright star from my perspective, and traveled at about the pace of a commercial airliner.

It entered my vision from the west. I thought its trajectory was unusual because it didn't follow a conventional/straight path, it moved in a sort of predictably alternating up-and-down motion as it traveled east. Suspecting I was mistaken, I slowed my car to a stop on the otherwise empty road, watched it, and established to my surprise it was moving the way I thought it was.

A moment later, it seemed to disappear altogether.

Rationalizing at this point that all this might have a conventional explanation to the affect of "it was a plane that flew behind a cloud," I searched the sky carefully in the area of the disappearance and was alarmed to discover I could only see, vividly, the stars in the sky characteristic of near-perfect visibility-no clouds to be had. Some to the near southwest were illuminated reddish by light pollution and could be distinguished from the deep black night sky.

It hadn't even traveled across the whole length of sky visible from the road through the trees that surround it.

I became anxious about how weird the whole thing seemed and hurried home.

Strange, bright, blinking object over Deerfield, IL

Looking Westward from a private residence in Deerfield, Illinois, 10 minutes by care from Downtown Deerfield under mostly clear skies.

My boyfriend and I had stepped out of my room onto my balcony around midnight in hopes of glimpsing the Perseid meteor shower when my attention was drawn to what I thought was a very bright, multi-colored star that was blinking wildly. Though I thought this was unusual, we dismissed it and looked elsewhere in the sky for signs of the meteors.

When I returned my attention to the star, I found that it had moved Westward and toward the horizon significantly.

We then watched its motions for several minutes, noting first to ourselves and then aloud that the object was swinging strangely from side to side. This seemed curious especially due to its apparent distance from us. If the presumed object seemed to us the size of a very bright star and it was performing such wide swinging motions and there was only a slight breeze that night, I assumed this might not be a conventional aircraft or an object being manipulated by air currents.

Thinking the rapid movements of our eyes may have caused this pattern of movement, I scanned the sky for a star and attempted to produce the same affects but could not. The motion seemed to be real and not a product of autokinesis.

We procured my Meade ETX-70AT Telescope upon my boyfriend's suggestion. Magnification did not clarify any apparent shape of the object. At times it is obscured by clouds. Before it became obscured below the treeline, we observed it erratically blinking red, white, blue, and green. No observed trail, surrounding haze, beams, spikes, glow or what have you. No observed heat or odor.

Did not contact the police, ufo center, press, military, or nearby airports though we observed commercial aircraft concurrently.

About two minutes after the fireworks display in another section of sky there was a fireball in the sky that was moving differently than a plane. It moved horizontally almost like a comet but then it came to a complete stop! After stopping for about 20 seconds it shot up into the sky so fast and disappeared like a ballon in the sky. About 10 minutes later it was back and there was another one right next to it and they did the same thing and followed each other after they stopped and went back up into the sky. Absolutely phenomenal!

Diemond shape flying lights, took two minutes to pass over head, low and quiet.

I was sitting on the couch watching food network at 8:00pm on a Thursday night, I looked towards my neighbor’s house through my first floor window. I was too bright and low to be a star and there was many lights grouped together I thought that was weird. Then I had noticed it had started to rise like it was almost hovering over my neighbor’s house. I had noted to my mom there was something like a plane in the sky she didn’t seem to care so I checked it out myself.

At first I ran to the window and watched it move slowly over the trees until I couldn’t see it any more. At this point I ran outside to my porch to get a better look. It flew lower than an average plane and was quite quiet. It had the high drone like that of a jet, but again it wasn’t loud my mom noted that she couldn’t hear it while she was inside. I have helicopters that come over my house that transport people from hospital to hospital and they fly pretty low but not that low and are considerably noisy.

As I watched it come over my house I noted that its bottom was in the shape of a diamond, and there were four white lights, one in each corner. The light at the tail end was flashing a white while there was two smaller lights on either side. Once it was more in front of me it looked liked the top of it was like a balloon, it was like the jiffy pop popcorn the kind that you put on the stove and watch it puff up.

It took around two minutes to pass from my neighbor’s house till it was out of my side. It moved to the North West, West coming from the North East.

Black Triangle over Chicago Suburbs spotted twice.

I was walking up my driveway when i looked up and noticed a a object in the sky. i went and grabbed my binoculars and saw a black triangle shaped craft with three red lights i think there could have been two of them.they were moving very slowley heading east towards Lake Michigan. i ran and got my brother and we watched it for a few mor minutes. the last thing we saw it was make a sharp right turn to the south. I am positive this was a stealth fighter or bomber.

a few weeks later at our neighborhood block party i noticed three red lights i the same triangular pattern it was once again moveing extremely slowly this time there was also a slight haze around it. towards the end of the sighting it started ascending and leveled out it then gained an amazing amount of speed and darted out of sight.

Object with lights over Chicago on 12/15/06, with bright center light and lighted extensions from the center (spider like).

This is the 2nd time we have seen this object in three weeks - and about at the same time and in the same sky position, directly over Chicago. It is a bright center light, with colored, almost spider like lights coming from the center light. Most of the time it was in the same position, but then turned and looked triangular, with lights on the side. We observed it on both occasions for 30 minutes, but don't know how long it was there - we stopped watching after 30 minutes. The first sighting, was accompanied by a craft which was very low flying with a red beam of light, sometimes pointed to the ground - NOT A PLANE. We actually thought at first it was a helicopter with a light searching for someone / something, but it wasn't making any noise. We couldn't believe it wasn't on the news. I've been looking to see if anyone else made a report. I probably wouldn't have made a report myself, except this is the 2nd time we've seen it, the first being about 11/24.

BRIGHT LIGHT SEEN SOUTH OF THE SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY HOVERING FOR A MINUTE THEN DISAPPEARED.

WHILE TRAVELING ON THE LYONS ROAD HEADED SOUTH FROM BOCA RATON FLORIDA, JUST SOUTH OF THE SAWGRASS EXPRESSWAY I WITNESSED A LARGE BRIGHT LIGHT PROBABLY ABOUT FOUR HUNDRED FEET UP. IT REMAINED STATIONARY AS I FOCUSED ON IT. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO HEAD WEST ON THE SAWGRASS, I TURNED MY HEAD TO VIEW THE LIGHT AGAIN AND IT WAS GONE. I GUESS THEY HAVE THE ABILITY TO BECOME INVISIBLE WHEN THEY WANT AND VISIBLE WHEN THEY WANT PEOPLE TO SEE THEM. NOT MY FIRST SITING IN FLORIDA AND PROBABLY WON'T BE THE LAST. IF CHEM TRAILS IS KEEPING THEM AWAY I GUESS THE SKY WAS PERFECT FOR A GOOD CRUISE THIS MORNING.

Light going N to S in Ohio, angles then disappears from sight.

At 12:20 am EST in deerfield OH,I was looking up when I saw what appeared to be an unusually bright satellite going over, we see them all the time where we camp and the sky is clear. It was brighter than the space station usually is, we were watching it on a totally clear night,stars were visible in all directions. The light got directly overhead,moving north to south and as it kept its straight path, it moved slightly southwest and then disappeared, this all occured in about 30 seconds to 1 minute, it appeared heading south, then just disappeared, after 15 years of astronomy and satellite watching, I have never seen anything like it.

It was at around 1:00 in the morning.My mother was on her way home from work my mother is a rn. She was driving down the road. When she pered over her right sholder she saw a large mass of light following her as she drove home.It followed her for a half hour.then it was gone.

A Red Pulsating Light Was Landed On The Road

While driving on a dark road, we all noticed a red pulsating light which was further down the road from us.

At first we thought it was a police car, then noticed the red pulsating light lifted off the road as we drove closer to it then glided right through a wooded area lower than tree top level.
