Object that resembled a satellite began behaving strangley.

We began watching what we believed to be a satellite moving across the sky. The object was silver/white and appeared at an extremely high altitude. We began to notice that the object seemed to slow as it moved almost directly overhead. The object then came to a complete stop and flared to a more orange/red color. The object then began moving in the opposite direction and made an arc until it was moving at almost ninety degrees of it's previous direction. It then came to another stop and dimmed to it's original silver/white. It then moved very rapidly in it's original direction until it was lost from our field of view. We attempted to explain what we had seen (moving clouds giving the illusion of movement, meteorite entering at a strange angle, etc.) but nothing seemed to quite fit for a reasonable explanation.

Tic tac sighting

While standing on my back dock I was looking up at the Big Dipper and saw 3 tic tac shaped craft move quickly across the sky then 2 disappeared and 1 remained. It stayed just hovering in the air for about 30 -60 seconds then disappeared

At first we saw a massive “energy ball” that moved slowly a cross the sky and it created like a puff of energy cloud/portal & vanished

Within 1 min later we saw a massive cigar shaped unit floating from the ring portal back the opposite direction. It was huge. No sound, no wings and no illumination from the craft. We could see it because of the reflection from city lights and it was a perfect clear night. Interestingly I had a feeling all day to go to this park to mediate and observe. I felt this was going to happen as crazy as it is.

I’ve seen the object 3 times near the same location

Over the past 2 days February 13th 2023 and today February 14th 2023 I’ve seen a object flying in close proximity to passenger jet liners, i only see it for a few seconds at a time but when I do see the object the sun reflects light off of it then it disappears I’ve tried to take photos but it does travel what appears to be faster then normal civilian jets. I’m unsure of what it possibly is, I use a flight radar to see what’s in the area but nothing of what I’m describing is on the radar. The object leaves not jet streams of any sort and there is no audible noise that can be heard.

Orange/White light changing from extremely bright to nothing

My wife and I were sitting on our porch and I observed a bright white/orange light in the sky seemingly pretty far away. It caught my eye because it wasn’t there at one point. The light would get very bright, like Venus, and then dim to nothing. There was no timing I could get out of it and sometimes it would do it 2-3 times a minute or disappear for 5-10 mins then reappear. I was outside the night before (9/19) and noticed the light in the same patch of sky but didn’t observe it so I chocked it up to being a star. I grabbed my binoculars to try and get a better look but couldn’t see much more. When it got bright there looked like a haze around it. Possibly a cigar/tictac shape but not sure.

Saw 15 orange fire balls

Moved across the horizon in a group and then behind trees. When the trees cleared they were on top of a building, not that far up from the building.

They were spread out. All at different positions. Glowing orange. My daughter says they were red. But we both saw them. If i could connect the dots i swear it would be one thing. They weren't moving. I couldnt get a picture because i was doing 70 miles an hour. I looked at them as much as i could. I had zero explanation for what they were. They didnt have propellers. There were NO POLES under them (obviously, they wee above a building) and they were like balls but were glowing like fire. I tried to rationalize and say they were chinese lanterns except they were BIGGER and they were moving initially but they WEREN'T MOVING when the trees cleared.

Ive never seen anything like this in my life. And no one will be able to convince me it was was something man made.

Unseen UFO Appears In One of Two Photographs Taken Less Than 5 Seconds Apart

I was facing west and watching the sunset in a parking lot across the street from the downtown municipal airport. There were no planes on the ground or in the air. There were no birds flying and no wind. There was no sound of any kind other than birds chirping in the trees.

I shot two pictures less than five seconds apart with my cell phone camera. I did not see or hear anything in the sky. The second witness with me quickly noticed an object in one of the pictures which we could not identify. Neither one of us saw the object in the sky or heard it come or go, but it appeared in one of two photographs taken less than 5 seconds apart.

The object in the photograph is completely black with no lights of any kind and it has an irregular elongated shape.

This is the 2nd time this particular UFO has flown over my house. Large ball of fire seems to be spinning. Moves extremely fast then stops and hovers. When it disappears it literally just vanishes!!! I’m December we saw around 20. They seemed to make laps around a spot light the local Christian college shines every Christmas. They would make laps around and come back. In pairs or 4 together. I witnessed 3 floating objects displaying flash a red the orange hue. I fists believed to be aircraft of military maybe due to the horizontal movement and flash of lights , then the first light began to strink and disappea , the other two followed. This led me to think well maybe these are oddly 3 falling stars in rare motion, so I began to make wishes upon then appeared two more floating horizontal and they strunk then disappeared, trees and a light pole restricted my view of were this was coming from in the sky , the boom the brightest and last one appeared and followed the others. This left me baffled, I am not one to look up ufo info nor have I ever encountered such, I searched the internet and was led to extraterrestrial information which led me here. I don't know if what I witnessed was a natural cause but I feel the need to report this just in case someone else caught it too.

My Mother and I were turning into Bons Secours St. Francis Hospital and noticed a bright flying object in the sky with a distinct illuminated trail behind it. At first we thought it could be a plane reflecting the suns light until we realized the sun was still not in sight. We watched the object travel across the sky and then witnessed it start dissipating and then saw it appear to "go into hyper speed" and quickly disappear. The flight path/trail was clearly visible for up to 5 minutes after the sighting.

A cylinder, moving left to right, 25’ in front of me, parallel to the pavement, 100 MPH or faster.

Two weeks ago, on a Tuesday, just after dark, I was nearing home in my PU. As I began to slow to turn into the driveway, an object crossed the road perpendicular to me, about 25 yards distant, traveling at least 100 MPH. It was light tan, cylindrical in shape, about 2’ long, 6”s in diameter, and had no visible appendages. It moved parallel to the ground, about 2’ above the pavement. It traveled up a driveway to my right front, and did not appear to reduce it’s speed, in spite of obstructions that were in it’s path.

What was it? I have no idea; however, I did stumble across a History Channel show, about three days later, describing tubes that people are seeing, and that also show up on numerous photos and videos. They come in various sizes and lengths, some with what appear to be ripple type wings, often with various colorations, and speeds occasionally too fast for the eye to see. In fact, most of them are found on electronic media, after the fact. S ome have speculated that they are inter-dimensional in nature, capable of leaving our 3D reality at will. I am clueless; what was that thing?

3 Star like objects meet then fade away.

Saw a "star" that looked odd, then a few seconds later another star came in from the right at a high rate of speed then slowed as it approached the first one. Moments later another one came in the the left in the same manner. They appeared to spin around each other then just faded away. Too far away it seems to make out anything more. They looked like the ISS does when it's over head. From my place they were west of Greenville.

Erratic bright light hovers, moves, then vanishes.

I arrived at my construction job site at around 06:45. I dropped off my tools and opened the garage doors to get ready for the day. Since I had a few moments, I stepped outside to feel the morning air, I noticed a fairly bright "Star" to the West of the warehouse where I stood.

The "Star" was larger than the average star on this early morning, it had a reddish orange hue, and flickered every so slightly. I assumed that it was Mars, just peeking out over the rooftops.

I downloaded the Skymaps app last week, so I open the app expecting the object to be Mars. However, nothing celestial was in that vicinity, especially not something that bright.

My second logical assumption was that it was an aircraft, or perhaps a satellite; however unusual, since the light was as bright as Mars typically is. I watched the object and was able to realize that it was in fact moving. However, it was behaving erratically. Up up up, to the right, wobble, up up up, to the right, wobble; ever so slightly.

Perhaps it was a helicopter with a spotlight? Then my periphery, an easily identifiable airplane was also crossing the sky. Two blinking lights, white and red. Traveling toward the general area that the mysterious object occupied.

I went back to watching the strange light, only for a few seconds more; in an instant it vanished. As the light suddenly cut out, in the exact same spot; a barely visible red light zipped to the right, much more horizontal than vertical. The speed in which this tiny red light moved was frightening at first glance, it reminded me of how one sees a meteorite zipping across the atmosphere before burning out. It moved so quickly and was so faint that I lost sight of it.

Its hard to estimate the exact distance and direction of the object, but if I was to get as close as I could; From the horizon it was approximately 20 degrees vertical. On a 360 Degree compass, it was approximately 15 degrees clockwise of due West. I can't give an accurate estimation of distance seeing as it was only a light, but if I was to guess based on gut feeling, I would bet about 15 to 20 miles or so as the bird flies.

Strange Light behaves erratically then suddenly vanishes

(This story is re-posted about 10 minutes after the original, I wished to remain anonymous out of fear of, well anything really, but if NUFORC wishes to contact me, I dont see why not.)

Large, low flying (approximately 200ft. altitude) dark triangle slowly traveling northward, parrallel to route 127. 3 light, one at each corner of the triangle. These three lights on this craft werethe same color and approximate size of the stars on this starry night. My girlfriend and I have seen this same craft about a year prior slowly flying over nearby Covington, Ohio. We are near Wright Patterson Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio. My guess is this is prototype stealth spy drone ...very hard to detect, possibly flying low enough to be under radar. My girlfriend on the other hand thinks itsfrom outer space...who knows...

I was leaving my girlfriend's house approximately at 4:00am when we saw a abnormal circular shaped object moving across the skyline. I then automatically started recording because something was just strange. We watched the craft turn its lights off and back sometimes in a rapid pattern and also keep its lights out for a few seconds during different times. It somewhat moved in a frantic motion and cutting large backwards flips. Then the craft disappeared from its flight right in front of us. The craft had no sound.

Lite bigger brighter than any star ive seen west sky 9:30 pm colors stayed one spot for an hour 1/2 loud boom.

Was watching The voice on TV I heard a loud boom. Went out side looking west at about 9:30 was a big bright light it stayed in the same spot for about an hour changing colors then it took an hour and a half for it to disappear. I filmed it and zoomed in on it for a picture it disappeared. Light Went out. Dogs barking for no reason.

I went to get my phone to record it and, as I aimed my phone towards the sky, each craft took off in opposite directions at lightning speeds and disappeared into the sky

I was visiting Greenville, SC, driving with my sister-in-law. We first saw them on Pleasantburg between Wade Hampton and Rutherford. NE to SW.

At first my sister-in-law thought they were lights on Paris Mountain, and as we got closer she said that they are not lights on the mountain, because they were moving, lower then an airplane, going in line and heading in a SW direction.

They stood still in their course and began to rise up into space and finally disappeared.

We pulled over during the event, it was a very bright area, I took a picture and video.

At first I saw a bright red orb float directly upward then disappear. Then it came back into site and floated downward. Then it appeared somewhere else and disappeared and then came back to wear it was. I haven't been watching the sky nonstop but I have been checking occasionaly and I have not seen it again. This happened about half an hour ago, so I guess it stopped.

I was just walking my dog in my back yard and saw this strange orange "ball" of light. I watched it for about a minute, and it did not appear to be moving in any particular direction. It seemed too big to be an aircraft, (the airport is near the direction this event took place), and again, it didn't seem to be moving.

I realized I should record this, so I ran inside to get a video camera. I was only inside for no more than a minute, and when I returned, the light was very faint and seemed to be really far away.

Red/Green Flashing Object, Low in Sky

I wanted to report my own experience concerning a red and green object this morning. I was headed from Raleigh, North Carolina, towards Greenville, North Carolina, around two this morning. I saw a red and green, possibly blue blinking "Star". However the lights flashed at different intervals. It was the lowest object in the sky.

I thought it was a plane at first but it seemed to move ever so slightly to the left side of the star above it. I'm pretty positive stars don't move.

Maybe if more people start paying attention to them we can raise awareness to find out what these things are.

I hope this will offer more information to those in search of answers.

I have never noticed this object before in my many, many drives back to Greenville.

3 orange-reddish fireballs flying in a triangle formation coming from northeast heading southwest. Travel speed was constant for all 3 at first, then became variable. Nearby air traffic seemed unaffected as we watched the skies for 20 more minutes and saw nothing more.

The sighting was of a circle of 4 white lights, which were moving in circles of increasing/decreasing diameter in the sky around a epicentre. They would occasionally fade and then come back bright again. We watched for about an hour before they completely faded, no idea how long they had been there before we spotted them. They were spotted a month before as well.

Red/green stationary light NW of Greenville, ME.

As I was admiring the night sky outside our camp I looked North towards Greenville and saw a red/green flashing light, thinking it was a plane but it did not move, it stayed stationary.

I watched it for awhile from the deck, then saw another smaller white light moving from the east to west that seemed to go beneath it. I assumed this to be a plane.

I called to my husband and we went upstairs w/ binoculars for a better view. It was still too far in the distance to make out anything clearly other than the red/green light.

We watched for about 20 mins and it did not move at all.

I looked again just befor bed at about 10 and did not see it at all.

My fiance went outside on the backporch and seen the one furthest away abd it was flashing well he difnt think nothing of it umtil he spotted the other one that was even closer. they are both statipnary maybe two miles apart there is no sound but alot of different color flashing lights.. theyre still hoovering as were reporting this now.one is probably about a mile away and thet other one maybe 2 to 3.

Triangle of 3 lights seen from I-85 hovering over Mauldin Rd area

Driving down 85 South, looking over the Mauldin Rd area, I saw three solid white lights in the form of a triangle. There was a tiny blinking red light.

I’m not sure what it was, but it sat in the same spot in the sky for the four or five minutes I was approaching it, then once I got a little ways past it, the lights disappeared.

I just wonder if others saw the same thing because several cars around me slowed down and were swerving.

I saw this light cluster between 11:40pm and 11:44pm on 30 January 2014.

Peter , this is ((name deleted)) from Walhalla , SC 29691 AND ((address deleted)) Otto , NC 28763 . I have a report of a sighting myself on your site date of UFO sighting (1981-1982 ?) that i reported SEVERAL years ago 5 miles or so north of Walhalla , SC 29691 on HWY28 At Highsaw Gap.

Tonight on our local Fox 21 TV Channel , a woman Julie Jordan and her boyfriend Jeremy Hanks sent this 2min 13sec video of at least 3-5 ufo's in the night sky and there is some audio from them talking to themselves describing the Unknown Ariel Vehicles . paraphrase '' it looks like it only has 2 wings (one solid wing and nothing else ? my input here B.S. ((name deleted)) ) and they are floating with no sound and keep going up and down disappearing '' ,

7-8 yellow/orange lit objects flew by in loose formation.

On July 29th, 2013, at approximately 9:30 pm my husband and I went out to walk the dog. We saw, crossing our path on high, 7-8 orange/yellow lit spherical objects sail by in a loose formation. They flew by in absolute silence - leisurely - not fast like a jet nor "hovery" like a helicopter. They flew from southwest to northeast - disappearing in the distance.

We live near a hospital so are quite familiar with the "life-flight" helicopter coming and going from the hospital. We will also hear on occasion incoming or out-going jets to the local Greenville/Spartantburg Airport. These objects were none of these. We called to our neighbor to come and see them which she did.

I am a local physcian with a fairly analytical mind. I was not intoxicated. My husband in a retired USMC Lt. Col and our neighbor is an executive in local charitable organization.

red/orange lights in a formation

On the evening of May 12, 2013 at 21:45 I observed 4 glowing orange/red lights moving across the sky at a constant speed seeming slightly faster than a commercial airliner.

I went next door to my beighbor's house and asked him to look at what I was seeing.

He came out and we watched the lights until they faded out.

The lights were in a ''W'' formation moving from West to Southeast before fading out.

I heard no sound, and could not make out a shape of any kind.

This is the first time I have ever seen anything that I could not recognize.

Four red/orange lights in cross formation hovering in sky, then disappear into thin air.

We were driving home with the kids and noticed four red/orange lights in the sky. They caught my attention as they were in an almost cross formation or a "T". We pulled over to get a better look, and to listen. We assumed they were helicopters. No other air crafts could be in that formation and their proximity to one another were close. Furthermore they seemed motionless.

Upon pulling over we noticed two had disappeared. We watched the last two start to separate and then just disappear. There was virtually no cloud cover so they did not disappear into a cloud. They just vanished.

Bright orange flash of light that shone through heavy curtain, and a loud, unsettling, quick boom.

Greenville, OH. At 1:11 pm November 28, 2012 I saw an orange flash of light shine through my upstairs heavy curtained window, and I hear a loud, quick boom. It was quicker than the sound of thunder, but just as loud. I did not see what made the noise and flash of light. I did not lose power, and I could not see any smoke outside. There were no sirens. I called the police department at 1:28 pm, but no one else had reported anything at that point. I see nothing on the internet about it.

Red/orange lights seen for about 4 minutes in Western Pennsylvania

About a half an hour ago, I was taking the dog out and looked at the west sky and noticed 2 bright orange/red dots about less than 2 inches away from each other ( if I were to stretch my hand and measure with my fingers, that is the distance I would get ). The one on the top was slightly to the right in relation to the one on the bottom. They looked bright and big (size of Jupiter or slightly bigger) with a deep color of orange/red.

As they began to move from left to right slowly, I tried to get a better view through the branches of the trees in my yard which were partially blocking the view. I was curious to find out if they were planets but once they began to move I thought it could be a plane. But then, 2 planes one on top of the other didn’t make much of a sense to me. So I called my husband to come outside and look at these lights. He came out and looked but was too concern on stepping on dog poop outside. It is cold tonight in the 40’s. So he came inside and didn’t want to bother being cold. I was still curious to find out what it was as the 2 lights continued to move from left to right. All of a sudden I see then 3 lights. If I were to connect the dots they would form a triangle in the sky about 4 inches apart from each dot. The color of the dots were exactly the same color as the other 2 lights. As this happened, I ran inside to call a friend of mine so she could go out and look at the west sky ! to see if she could see the same lights. The 3 lights began to move from left to right and instead of 3 dots I could only see 2 kind of horizontal lights from each other moving again from right to left (west to southwest). It seemed like the lights would move and stop. The one far left kept going while the one on the right stopped and dimmed to no light at all. I moved my position down the driveway toward the south so I could keep an unobstructed view of these 2 objects. The light on the right continues to move slowly and more dimmed but I still could see it. All of a sudden the light that had dimmed before came back on with a white brightness just like a flood light shinning down and immediately dimmed to no light again. It seemed like this light had appeared for 2 seconds disappearing again completely. It was very cold and since I had no jacket, I just noticed the light from the left continue to move southwest and getting dimmer and dimmer. After I called the center to re! port this sighting, I went up to my husband’s room to ask if h! e did or did not see any light.

He told me all he saw was one red light.

There were 50 to 60 colored objects slowly moving across the sky.

Last night 11/03/2012 around 10:05 pm, as I was on my way to work, I looked up into the sky and seen a lot of objects slowly moving to the west. There were at least 50 to 60 0f them. They looked to be almost round in shape and about the size of a basketball. They were red and orange colored and looked like a small flame around them.

I pulled my truck over and got out to get a better look at them. I did not hear no sound in the sky. I tried to take pictures of these objects with my camera phone but as I aimed my camera toward the sky all I could get was a black screen. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

I stood there and watched the objects for about 10 minutes and had to leave.

Driving down Rt. 666 toward Rt.11, I witnessed a large triangular craft moving East from which I thought at first was a star in the sky near dawn due to its front lights being so stationary. As I drove closer I could identify more than just the one front light "landing light"? and thought at first it could be a helicopter. Once it was over head I could make out the shape of the object I immediately pulled off and killed the engine to step out and take a better look. Personally being a pilot for several years I judge the lights if normal sized to give me an estimate of having been roughly 1,000 - 1,500 feet above the ground. It had four white lights on the bottom in a square pattern with a reddish tented front light. It was completely silent and moved very very slowly, again I estimate the speed to have been in the proximity of 13 knots give or take a few. I am not suggesting it to be extraterrestrial, but in all my years of been involved with aviat! ion, I have never seen anything like it past the stealth bomber if I had to compare, and never completely silent or able to move so slowly it seemed to defy gravity. Amazing equipment no matter the origin!

Oval/Almond shaped craft, very bright moving quickly then slowly.

We were swimming in the back yard when I jokingly mentioned a small craft in the sky. It was moving rather quickly at first and then it seemed to slow down a considerable amount. Everyone else saw it too. It became a lot less funny and more serious when all of us realized we were looking at a UFO. Before yesterday they were just a joke, ya know? It disappeared after five or ten minutes. An unmarked plane came through within seconds of it disappearing, and it was even more obvious that what we'd seen before was NOT a plane. It was oval/almond shaped, very smooth around with no sharp edges or corners and fairly bright, it looked as though the sky around it had a halo effect and was slightly darker than the rest of the sky.

I have a picture I took on my iPhone where you can see the light from the craft, but not make out the craft itself because of the poor quality.

December 04th, 2011 Driving along the highway back to my house with my roommate, we both noticed a flying circular bright light.

First we thought quietly to ourselves, because we thought it was an airplane.

However we realized it was falling at a very controlled rapid speed on a diagonal straight-line decline of a 45-degree angle for 5 to 6 seconds.

I was driving and slowed to witness it and thought secondly to myself, could it have been a shooting star? But having witnessed many shooting stars from my permanent home it wouldn’t have been visible for that long when I was slowing down the car to watch this super bright white object descend.

Afterward it straightened out horizontally for a second or two and then disappeared completely. No more abnormally bright sphere present in the night sky.

My roommate exclaims to me, "Did you see that!" I reply, "Yes, we just saw a UFO!"

Organized light craft over Greenville, NC

Initially stationary light noted on night of full moon, noticed flickers of silver and red nearby, so posted up for observation. After about 2 minutes, light began moving extremely erratically, definitely organically, and almost appeared to be "cloud-surfing" though appeared to be at a greater distance than the clouds. Telescope revealed small bright white light to be moving in spirals and loops at extremely fast speeds. Clear weather allowed observation of nearby light points, thought initially to be stars, but showing subdued but similar behavior. Light cones and flashes observed between no less than 6 objects spaced across the visual skyscape. Activities continued for no less than 2 hours, observer had to crash for work.

A large bright orange shperical object appeared, moved across the sky and disappeared over Greenville, Ohio.

Time: Around midnight EST Location: Greenville, Ohio

Description: Around midnight EST I was alone outside letting my dog out and looked up to the Northwest sky and saw a bright orange spherical "thing" in the sky.

At first it looked like a hot air balloon possibly on fire, but then it was moving too fast to be one and looked less like one the closer it got. There was a darker center to this object. Size wise, the object would be more comparable to the size of the moon than to any stars from our perspective on Earth and much larger than any meteor I have seen. It was about the size that a dime looks when extending your arm fully and looking up at it. It was closer to the ground than a plane would be flying, but higher than a bird would be flying in the sky.

The object was not at all comparable to fireworks, remote controlled airplanes, etc. It had an orange glow emitting from it which looked almost like fire does, although I could see no flames.

It moved toward the Northern sky and disappeared out of sight. At first the glowing object was stationary but then it started moving. The flight pattern was mostly horizontal, although it did rise straight up and go straight down twice and it moved diagonally in the sky once. This all happened in a matter of 30 - 45 seconds if not longer I would guess. It was much quicker than a plane would be viewed moving in the sky, although it did hesitate a few times.

There were no sounds associated with this.

Witness: I was the only witness to this at my location and did not have a camera or video recorder on me. I am a 20-something year old college graduate with some emphasis on geology and astronomy. There are no drugs, alcohol, or mental illnesses involved.

Three spoke shaped craft with white lights in center and at spoke ends, blue lights between white ones

The UFO was a three spoke object (Mercedes emblem shape) each spoke approx. 25-30 ft. long, 4 -6 ft wide, with a white light in the center of the spokes, and at the end of each spoke. There were several blue lights along the length of the spokes between the white center and white end lights. The blue lights were so bright when first observed that I thought they were long blue tube lights. As I approached the craft, all the blue lights went off except for one on each spoke next to the end white one, and the white lights pulsed in different sequences as I coasted to a stop just below the craft. The white lights ( four total ) were bigger and brighter than the blue lights. The craft was hovering just above the tree tops silently off the side of the road. The UFO floated over me ( I was in a convertible with top down ) and as it did a hushed jet engine sound with a loud "crackle" in it was audible and went silent again after it passed over me. It disappeared over the tree tops just off the left side of the road, and I was unable to locate it after turning around and looking for it. The night was clear with a full moon.

Daytime moving star seen over Pitt County

I was letting a friend’s dogs out into their backyard near Winterville, just west of Firetower Road. There was high visibility--light cirrus clouds near the horizon, low-lying but nothing but blue sky above 10,000 feet. I looked up and saw what I thought was a star. This took place around lunch-time, between 11:30 and 12:30 roundabouts. The star was very bright and I thought it was strange because I couldn’t see any other stars. Then it started to move, very, very slowly west to northeast over the course of the next 7 minutes.

I tried not to take my eyes off of it because it was small and clearly above 30,000 feet as I could see some 747s making contrails (short trails due to such clear conditions) below and around the “star”. It was not using any of the sky-lanes that planes normally use.

Occasionally, maybe three minutes in, and then at the five or six-minute mark, it would stop totally for 30 seconds. It also seemed to have a perfect circlular aura that almost pulsed outwards, only faintly discernible from the object and the blue sky around it. I was wearing a good pair of sunglasses with polarization so the sky was very blue and the star quite bright against it. When I took the glasses off the star was still visible but difficult to track.

The bizarre thing is that my eyes went right to it, and there was 360 degrees of clear blue sky. If I hadn’t immediately seen it or known it was there, I could have missed it. Would have missed it.

It was very bright. Again, I thought it was a star. That high up, that shape, that type of light. The weather was perfect – spring time and about 72 degrees. I wanted to shout to the neighbors to ask “what is that”, but for those 7 minutes the neighborhood was a ghost town.

I didn’t take a picture because my phone was inside the house and I knew if I took my eyes off of it I might lose it. Sure enough, just as it passed directly overhead I glanced away for a second, maybe two, and then it was gone. Weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. I work outside and I know the air traffic here. This was highly unusual.

We witnessed over 20 UFO's traveling northeast across the sky in the span of about ten or fifteen minutes.

It is now 10:45 pm on Sunday, August 30th, 2009.

My wife and I were returning home from my sister’s house about 20 minutes ago with our children asleep in the back seat when we saw 3 circular lights in the sky that were moving relatively quickly. We stopped the car, put on our flashers and exited the vehicle to get a better look. There was a procession of approximately 20 to 25 of these lights that seemed to be travelling from the southwest and moving northeast across the night sky in clusters of two and three at a time with short intervals in between. They were definitely not airplanes or helicopters. They were clearly visible, yet there were no distinctive markings. The color seemed strangely ambiguous. They seemed both white and red at the same time, yet not flickering. That was my personal perception, although my wife seemed to perceive a faint flicker. They each disappeared off into the clouds one by one in the sky northeast of us. There was absolutely! no sound at all.

We both witnessed this event. Neither one of us could come up with a logical explanation of what we were viewing. Although several cars passed us, no one else stopped or slowed to take notice of what we were looking at. I doubt highly that there is any connection of significance to the fact that we heard consistent gunfire in the area, but I will state it here as a point of fact. We are in an area where there seems to be frequent recreational gunfire.

We called my sister to describe what we were seeing, but she did not see any activity over her house roughly 30 miles away.

We live in the town of Greenville, NY 12771. We share a zip code with Port Jervis, NY and obviously are very close to that town.

We did not feel threatened or scared by what we saw. It was a spectacularly uncommon site. If there is a logical explanation for it, we’d be curious to know what it is. If not, we feel very fortunate to have viewed such a unique event.

Flashes of lights from what looks like stars

The sky was extremely clear and I had only looked at the stars through a telescope a few times. I was curious about the recent crash on Jupiter. My step dad has a old telescope and we decided to get it out. By the way I do not believe in UFO's and I am an elementary school teacher who has never saw anything out of the ordinary in the night sky. While we got jupiter in focus we noticed a couple of its moons and could faintly see a couple rings. We sit in the lawn chairs and began to talk at how clear the sky was and all the stars we could see. As we talked my step dad asked me to look at a group of stars and pointed for me to look at the bright one in the center. It was not Jupiter. As we looked at it it flashed like a camera had just took our picture. It never moved and only took 3 seconds to dim again. This happened 3 more times during the night to other faint stars we looked at. I don't know what it was, if it was other objects crashing into eac! h other. I just know it was wierd to see. Like someone was taking our picture from space.

Slow moving UFO through semi-cloud cover on the night of a meteor shower, most definatly not a meteor.

That night, I was on my roof trying to see the expected meteor shower. Around 1 o'clock, the clouds began to roll in. The shower was supposed to be at 2 I believe. At 1:26, I witnessed the craft come into view from my left, behind me. It was very low to the trees. I turned around and watched it go left across the sky. It was absolutely silent. Being accustomed to all types of planes or helicopters flying over head, I knew what to listen for. But there was nothing. It had two white lights on the front, and then three more white, yet somewhat smaller, down the side. These lights would strobe on and off. In a pattern. The first would light, the second one would light, then the third would light. Each of these would fade as the next came on. It was somewhat cigar shaped, but had a wider front end. I watched it slowly glide to the left, and then slowly arch back to the right, over the tree tops, and slip out of sight. The craft was going very slow. But it felt so! close. Literally 500 feet away from me. I should've taken a picture, but I was too captivated by what I was seeing.

two solid white objects close together in the sky...went from stationary to out of sight faster than I've ever seen....

I walked my dog out into the yard and I noticed two bright objects in the sky. At first I asked myself if Venus may be out, but noticed these two objects were too close together to be the two brightest stars in the sky (and also too large and bright),so I kept my focus on them. All of a sudden I saw one of them dash straight up and out of view within a second. The second object stayed there a moment and did the same thing about a second later. Much, much too fast to be any type of jet, and much, much too bright.

Dark triangular UFO with three white lights, one red light, hovering in the sky

I was driving home from night school on highway 14 between Roper Mountain and Pelham road. I was headed northbound. In the northwestern sky (a bit to my left out my car window), I noticed some new lights (it's a regular commute) over the top of some trees. I know you know where this is going, ha ha. Too big to be a radio tower, and stationary, so not an airplane. I, of course, used these two anchors of logic to dissuade me from what I thought I was actually seeing, but it was when I made out a chassis that my foot hit the brake and I slowed to a crawl.... it was wobbling... I started screeching all kinds of disbelieving profanities and I KNOW someone else saw it because as I was swerving off the road I saw another car wandering off to the side of the road as well, and they quickly passed.

It was triangular, dark and metallic, very sleek and smooth, with three white lights at each vertex and a concave red light, and it seemed blurry because the darn thing was wobbling a bit. I forced myself to look at the road and was surprised to find an unnatural glow around myself and the car, and as it grew brighter, I brought my eyes upward and caught it above my windshield and I craned my neck and promptly began to panic because the craft was now above my car, silent, higher up in the air but still too close for comfort, 500 feet perhaps.... I'm a horrid judge of distance....

It was at this moment I smelled, yes I know.... sulfur.... something like sulfur, so strong I held my hand over my face. I was fixated on the craft, but I had to look at the road.... kept swerving once again, thank goodness the road was now empty, and, yes, of course, when I looked back up it was gone. Nowhere in the sky...

Triangular object over Greenville, Michigan on July 2, 2008.

On July 2, 2008 at 3:00PM after being informed of severe thunderstorms about to enter the southwest area of Greenville Michigan, I stepped outside with my Canon EOS 40D digital camera to catch some images of storm clouds and possibly some rotation from the approaching storm. I took several digital images of the storm clouds before being forced inside by the heavy rain and wind gusts from the storm. My only intensions were to capture digital images of the storm and nothing else.

After the storm left the area, I took the CompactFlash card from my camera and inserted the card into my card reader in my computer. I downloaded the digital image files into Adobe Photoshop CS3 Bridge. I took the CompactFlash card out of the card reader and put the card back into my Canon EOS 40D camera and reformatted the CompactFlash card for storage of new digital images.

On the afternoon of July 5, 2008, I started to review the digital images from the storm from the afternoon of July 2, 2008. As I started to enlarge each digital image file, I noticed an odd object that appeared on the right side of the trees across from the condos near my apartment. I enlarge the object trying to see if I could make out what the object was. I sat at my computer and stared at my LCD display in total disbelief. Then I started to check other digital images taken about the same time and I found another object near the storm clouds in another image file. I enlarged that one and found an object that appears to be coming out or going into one of the storm clouds.

I had no intentions of trying to capture digital images of strange objects as my intent was only to try to capture interesting cloud formations to send into one of our local television stations in our area. These photos are 100% original and I did not altered these actual digital images in any way except for cropping and enlarging the images as I tried to determine what they actually were.

I know this object is not a conventional aircraft as anyone around this area has observed before. I have my own impressions as what this object(s) appears to be but as of now, I will not divulge my thoughts to anyone until further study has been completed.

four large greenish hazy lights, in straight line formation, moving very fast, no sound

Time sighted: 2044 EST, Thursday, April 10, 2008

Duration of sighting: approximately 12 to 15 seconds
Sky conditions: Very clear, stars visible and distinct, the moon a one quarter crescent just above the formation, scattered low small thin clouds.

I was sitting on my patio facing west. At 2045 by my watch which is one minute faster than the official U.S. time, I observed four lights going from southwest to northeast, from my 11 o'clock to 2 o'clock position, at elevation about one half way between the horizon and directly overhead. The lights were four abreast at first, top to bottom from my perspective and eqi-distant apart, which I thought was unusual for military aircraft. If you hold your hand at arms length with your thumb and first finger about three inches apart, that would encompass the formation. There was only one light per object and they were not blinking. Each light was maybe three to four times the size of Venus, with a faintly greenish tinge, and appeared not distinct, but slightly hazy like looking through a fog. They went through about twenty degrees of the sky and then one light dropped back into trail. After going through another twenty degrees, they disappeared behind a cloud. They traveled in a straight line. The entire sighting lasted about twelve seconds. I expected to hear sounds of jet engines following the lights, but heard nothing. There was no vapor trail like I observed on other normal aircraft seen later.

For many years, I have done a lot of fishing at night. I have observed many aircraft flying overhead and have seen many shooting stars. This was like nothing I have ever seen before and immediately caught my attention. The unusual formation, speed, and lack of sound were unique. To cross the sky that quickly, they had to be relatively low but I heard no sound. If they were too high to be heard, they were going many times faster than other planes I have observed and were extremely large. It was definitely not the ubiquitous weather balloon.

To our south about thirty miles is Seymour Johnson AFB. I was stationed there in the mid-60’s and am familiar with military planes. Their F-15’s often fly over Greenville since their runway has a north-south heading. They are generally low enough to be heard. We also see the louder F-18's out of Virginia Beach. Most aircraft have red, green, and white lights. On most airplanes you can usually see blinking lights or rotating strobes and not all lights are visible from every direction. The four lights I saw were steady and looked the same from a left to right forty degree arc. Pitt-Greenville Airport is about four miles away to my northwest. I worked there for three years ending two years ago. Again I never saw anything like this during that time.

About me. I am sixty-four years old and retired. I was in the air force four years, worked at Eastern Airlines for twelve, and was in computing for thirty-five years, the last eighteen with a university. I do not believe in UFO’s, little green men, or alien abductions. But I will admit that this was like nothing I’ve ever seen before and it was interesting. I’d like to know what I really saw.

A light with no blinking lights at all.

Slowing going across the sky in 1 direction,it was up quite high, fainted 2 to 3 times(each time for a few seconds to where it couldn't be seen with the naked eye. Faded into distance.
