At first I thought the object was some spotlights from either the high school stadium or a Halloween decoration, but as I drove home I never seemed to get closer or further from the object. It seemed to follow me until I entered my subdivision and then it just vanished. The lights seemed to move in an elliptical path that was at least a mile long and all converged in a center. It was mostly obscured by clouds so I couldn’t get many details

Shimmering Cylindrical Object

The incident occured on a clear sunny day with only a few clouds in the sky. While walking outside, I observed a shimmering object floating or hovering in the sky. It was cylindrical with the narrow ends at the top and bottom. It got larger which would mean it was heading southwest and, as it enlarged, it appeared to be different shades of orange as though there was a flame. I could not make out any other details. I then came across another person who also did not know what it was. I was briefly facing away from the object to speak to them and when I turned around, the object appeared to be moving north (and slightly to the west). It was much smaller and more like a yellow speck of light. At the same moment, I heard an aircraft coming from the east and then, a minute or so later, from the west. The sound of the aircraft from the east seemed like it was in the general direction of the object. The trajectory of the second plane seemed unrelated.

Orange ball of light at altitude.

On July 4th 2021, I saw an orange light around 10pm while having a cigarette on my front porch. I was not drinking alcohol or taking any drugs. I thought it was a firework and continued to watch it. It was moving northeast. It caught my attention very quickly, and I knew it wasn't a firework when I saw it was significantly higher in the sky than a typical firework, and it was moving very fast. I then watched it abruptly change direction to the southeast and accelerate completely out of sight. I stood there dumbfounded at what I saw, and told my wife. I researched this orange light and found(I forgot which web sight) that a similar situation happened in Oswego some years before, but only once. I just found out about Buford and wanted to report it. I see airliners, lear jets, and cessna's very frequently. And this orange light was exponentially faster than any aircraft than I've seen. I work with a former marine aviation mechanic, and asked him about it. He didn't know anything like it, and said by my description it was faster than anything he's seen in the military.

3 UFO’s caught on video

It was a clear, very cold night. At first we thought it was a very fast moving airplane, until we watched it move in fast sporadic directions. The craft was silent, round/oval, appeared to somewhat change shapes, and colors. Red, yellow, orange, blue lights glowing in and out. We did not notice the other two craft zoom in and around the first craft until we played back the video. Yes, we caught this on a video camera on my iPhone. The video is 1:15 min in duration. After returning inside the camper, my phone and another persons phone nearby, were acting strange; screen jumping, not connecting. I was trying to find this site, phone wouldn’t connect. I then decided to call 911, which I called 2-3 times before it finally connected.

It was 9:25 pm when I was hanging out in my garage working on my cars. when I was going to go to the bathroom outside and I saw the Large orange ball on the horizon. I started recording video on my phone right away not knowing what I was seeing. it was a large orange ball that seemed like it was on fire but was very bright orange/yellow and was changing colors from orange to yellow. this event lasted around 2 min. I have seen meteors before in my life and this I could not explain.

I let my dog out around 6pm and noticed a vibrating red light in the sky. it seemed to be pulsing and moving back and forth. I told my mom to look out over the trees but she says it was a star.

After about ten minutes the "star" was no longer in sight. I ran to the corner store and what I saw shocked me.

as I turned the corner of the house to hop into my vehicle I saw it clear as day. it was a craft hovering in the night sky. I've seen drones and you can usually hear a faint buzz and programmed blinking.

but this was enormous and it was a saucer hovering low. I heard gun shots off in the distance. as I sat in my vehicle petrified by the spinning hovering object it slowly cruised across the night sky.

there was bright rectangular lights on the dome shaped top. And an array of dim colored lights on the rotating base. the lights on the dome served as windows. it was low and from where I sat it seemed huge. I could even make out the color of the craft, blue steel.

i would estimate it was fifty yards wide, and when it trailed across the sky it made no sound. the 20-30 minute ordeal left me awestruck. and it was just in plain sight clear as day.

im probably not the most reputable source since I suffer from mental illness. but the fact that my mother saw the first UFO had me believing that something was happening in the night sky.

im thirty years old and in a recovery stage and take medication, receive therapy, and have not had hallucinations in about a decade. this was absolutely real and it was terrifying.

I didn't tell her what I had seen the second time. she would have dismissed it immediately. and without a shadow of a doubt i believed my eyes.

not to mention that the prior week I had seen two pulsing bright lights in the woods that seemed to be intelligent. and just like this incident they vanished leaving me questioning what I had saw.

Orange fiery spree threw the night sky!

I had seen an orange sphere traveling east towards Chicago. The UFO was flickering, and had almost appeared to be on fire. Went either threw or above a cloud but was still visible. Exited the cloud and as it was about to enter another cloud it has slowly faded away. But never had exited the other cloud. The UFO had appeared to be traveling at the speed of a commercial aircraft.

Fireball type lights moving in sky

I had just gotten home from seeing fireworks, pulled into my driveway and looked up into the sky to see a orangish yellowish glowing ball floating in the sky.

At first I had brushed it off as a plane, but then I quickly realized it was not. It was not moving like plane as it was moving carefree and up/down swiftly across the sky. Very low too about 1000 ft or so.

But when had passed me, I looked always for one second and another had appeared, same direction as the first one had came from. It was also moving around the same and looked the same.

When I went to take a picture of it, it wouldn't show on my camera, then disappeared.

Triangle shaped space craft that has followed my friends and I when we drive through our neighborhood and is definetly not an airplane.

My friends and I have seen these crafts many times before and they sometimes follow us. They are not planes, they become very bright looking like a shooting star but then dim down and follow us if we drive out of our neighborhood.

They are shaped like small triangles and can be bright white or sometimes red.

Also, the street lights would go out as it passed them like the energy was too strong.

Three triangles shaped aircrafts followed my friends and I from the sky while we were driving through our neighborhood for three hours.

My friends and I saw a bright white triangle shaped aircraft that we occasionally see on a regular basis and it sometimes follows us through our neighborhood. There were also two smaller aircrafts traveling together at the same speed which were bright blue and sometimes they would all turn red at the same time.

We were driving in our car but they would follow us from the sky and as they passed our street lights, the lights would go out. This occurred for a long time because we were afraid to go back home. Also, this was not the first time this has happened. It happens regularly and people tend to think we're crazy when we tell them but if we take them with and try to show them, it sometimes happens again.

We have tried to get videos and pictures but it's difficult to get it to show up on our phone cameras.

A steady, orange light, brighter and slightly larger than typical for a plane moved north across the eastern sky. 4 bright orbs in loose triangle over Oswego, IL, planets or hovering craft?

I will keep it short and sweet. I was driving home when I noticed what I thought must be the planets aligning. Four lights in the sky that for all intents and purposes looked like stars, only their size and brightness was highly unusual. Visual, they were the size of small basketballs as seen by the naked eye. I'm no astronomer, but I don't think 4 planets are that visibly big and so close to each other in the sky. It seems like there'd be an announcement of the event, anyways. The lights were arranged almost like an upside-down Big Dipper, or a triangle composed of four lights. What really convinced me that this was some special type of craft was the fact that when I stopped moving, I noticed that the lights did not move at all.

Shortly after they dissipated.

There were many planes in the sky for reference to the size of these objects as well, and they were like flies compared to birds. I wonder if anyone saw this as well? It was amazingly bright ! and I couldn't help but have my attention snared.

An object crossed the sky going North. The object was triangular in shape and had three bright orange fiery lights. The light source was large...definitely not a point source like a light bulb that you would see on a normal aircraft. There were no other lights on the craft. It moved across the sky at a fairly fast speed with one light in the front and the other two behind in a triangular shape. The object was also fairly large, though it is dificult to say how large not knowing what it's elevation was. To estimate it was about the size of an F-14 at about a thousand feet. As the object moved acroos the sky it was completely silent.

4 silent orange balls of light flying across field of view chasing each other at decent rate of speed and quite low above Oswego, IL.

I had just arrived home in Aurora, IL with my wife, mother-in-law and two girls right about 8:30 pm. It was already dark outside being that it was mid-November. We had groceries in the car that we had to unload them before my wife was to take her mother home in Naperville, IL. So we all got out of the car, the girls went inside followed by the rest of us carrying the groceries. I came back outside by myself to get the rest of the groceries. As I walked down to the car that was parked in the middle of the driveway, I noticed an orange ball of light with blurry edges come to view on my left moving south to north in a perfectly straight line. It was moving at a pretty good speed and awfully low which is why I stayed fixated on it! All of a sudden, a second identical ball of light showed up right behind it! By then, the first ball of light was right in front of me, but disappeared behind my neighbor’s house that was also in front of me. I then turned by attention to the 2nd ball of light that was following the first and I watched it as it began to move in front of me….Just as I stayed transfixed on it, I noticed yet another ball of light pop up behind it that looked just like the first two and chasing the second ball of light. It was then that I knew that these were not planes! All I can say was that they were bright orange balls of light chasing one another. I then instantly realized that these were not planes! Planes simply do not behave like this; they do not chase each other in this manner or fly so low.

I then ran into the house through the garage and I frantically told my wife, who was in the kitchen, to come with me and to make it fast because I had to show her something before they disappeared. She was actually pretty startled by my sense of excitement. She came running out and I pointed out the two lights. By then, the 2nd ball of light had just began to peek out again from being out of view due to my neighbor’s house all while the 3rd ball of light was just about to be covered by my neighbor’s house.

Suddenly, we both then noticed that an identical 4th ball of light appeared flying in the same manner, path and height as the other 3 balls of lights that preceded it. All 4 objects looked identical, flew in the same speed and height all while following each other and were very low. They were so low that they should have made some noise, but they were perfectly silent. They made no sound whatsoever. They all appeared to by flying along US-30 which would put them over in Oswego, IL air space which is the direction I was facing. As all of the objects peeked out from behind my neighbor’s home, they changed their direction all heading west towards Oswego at which time they simply disappeared in the distance.

My wife and I were left dumbfounded by what we just witnessed. After the last light disappeared, we simply got the rest of the groceries and came back into the house. I was left intrigued by the whole experience and I began to look over the internet for any mentions of the same from other people in the area. Though I did not find any mentions of today’s sightings from other area people, I did stumble upon several internet sites, including this site, referencing similar/recent sightings of the same orange lights in Oswego, IL.

Group of ten or more orange fireballs across Oswego, IL sky on 9/28/12

My Wife's Description: A group of about ten of these bright yellow orange lights traveling horizontally across the sky over Oswego tonight before they fizzled out one by one? It was about 9:30pm. I caught two of them on camera.

My Description: They were not lanterns, they were moving across the sky at a high rate of speed and they were clearly in the stratosphere. They were bright orange and much larger than any airplane light or weather balloon. They actually shimmered like balls of flame. We could see them from the horizon as we turned the corner onto our street. We watched for ten minutes as one by one they moved across the sky until they went past and then we couldn't see their light any longer.

We turned off both our cars in the driveway so we could hear if their was any sound emanating from the objects and they were totally silent.

There were three teenagers across the street watching the same thing. I've never seen anything like it. They moved irregularly, but fast. They did not glow of a normal light. They were more like glowing embers with a red core that you could see more clearly as the orange/yellow would fade, until finally when they were just past "overhead", they disappeared.

THIS WAS WRITTEN YESTERDAY, JANUARY 3, 2012 I POSTED THE FIRST VIDEO OF THE LIGHT(S) ON YOUTUBE AND IT SHOULD SHOW UP SOON.

My 12 yr old and I witnessed stationary lights in the sky again above Oswego, IL today. It was the same place and time of day as last November's sighting, 3:25pm in the western sky. The sun was getting lower in the sky and there were scattered clouds, though the sky was mostly sunny. The conditions were very similar to our sighting in November. One light appeared to the lower right (west) of the sun and the other was farther to the right (slightly northwest). We only saw them for a minute and then lost them and had to keep driving.

When I got to our home, about a mile away, I got out our Sony Handycam and caught the lights on it. The stationary lights were in the clouds directly west, to the right of the setting sun, and the lights were lower and bigger than the airplanes that were present before and after. I focused in on one light 2 MINUTES INTO THE VIDEO and it appeared almost a triangular shape with fuzzy edges and it was a glowing reddish-pink on the top point, white in the center and green on the bottom two points. I was inside and there is dirt on the window. The video is shaky but if you pause on it you can really see the colors. I didn't know it at the time but I also caught three lights later in the video.

These objects were stationary, not airplanes, as I was also watching and comparing them to airplanes with their contrails. There were no helicopters or small planes in the area when the lights appeared.

As I was looking at the second video I caught what appears to be a dark disc skipping across the sky at minute 2:59. I don't think it was a bird because in the same area are geese with wings flapping and this was circular and much, much faster.

Also, in the third video a dark helicopter flew by about 20 minutes after the lights were filmed, about 10 minutes after the disc.

Right after the events our Wii froze and wouldn't turn off, has never happened before, and our cell phone wasn't responding when we wanted to play songs, which also hasn't happened before. I am also having problems sending this, have tried twice and it isn't working. The video files in my email also aren't working.

Strange events here in Oswego today!

I was coming out of the Best Buy in Oswego, IL. I put my two kids into their car seats , and looked up to stretch my back and from NW straight above me was a fast , fast moving satellite looking light. I see satellites all of the time but this one moved from NW right above me to South end of the sky and right at the end did a hook to the west and then was gone. It traveled about 70% of the sky in 3 to 4 seconds . No sound. I stood and thought for a second on what I saw. I see satellites, too fast. I see meteors, not as fast and lasted way longer. Not an airplane , way to fast and the pilot would have to pull like 20g’s to make that move at the end. I told my wife, and guys at work. I love to watch the stars but , for being outside of Chicago’s lights, we see a lot for a suburb. But I never saw this. Just wanted to put it in record .

A UFO on 4th of July

it was midnight and we saw a UFO. it was the fourth of july and before the fireworks went off we saw an alien spacecraft hovering high in the sky. it wasn't moving at all. it was glowing a color we don't remember but it was glowing. just as the fireworks it disappeared.

There was a circular UFO with lights traveling around it.

There was a small flashing light that looked like a flashing star. It had a greenish-blue tint to it. The light seemed stationary. When you looked at it closely it looked like there were lights that were circuling around a round object rather than lights that were flashing. The light ended up disappearing after about 6 minutes.

Three red lights equally spaced one on top of another in Eastern Sky

I was outside looking for the Northern lights that evening. I decided to do a little sky gazing while out there. I located the galaxy andromeda in the northeastern sky quite a bit east/south east of this galaxy I saw three redish glowing lights. They were one on top of another, spaced incredibly equally apart. I remember thinking how odd it was how exactly perfectly spaced they were. I did see five aircrafts, not circling them, but flying in between them. The sky was perfectly clear that evening, about after an hour of them not moving. I went inside. I periodically went back outside every twenty minutes or so, until 23:00. The only odd thing that happened was the last couple of times I went outside the lights were now white instead of red. They were there for a full two hours, that I had seen, then the last time I went outside they were gone. However the two hours that I did see them, they did not move what so ever. And they were not stars. I am a very frequent sky gazer, I know what I saw was a very odd occurence. I honestly don't know if this has anything to do with it. But the following morning both mine, and my husband's car did not start.

On Sunday August 24th at aprox. 10:15 AM eastern time mysely and 2 others observed a sequence of 9 bright white / silver circle shapes cross the sky. The sky was a deep blue with absolutely no clouds. My father happened to look up and saw this strange object moving across the sky (much faster than any aircraft) both myself and husband also saw this. We were all standing facing east with the sun in front of us at almost eye level. Within aprox. 10 secs. we all saw another one coming from the north....crossing the path of the sun and continuing south and out of sight. Three or four more continued in the same pattern at about the same intrevals. The last sighting was 3 circle shapes following one another and when they past the sun turned into a triangle shape and continued toward the south and out of sight. My husband said that he also saw one circle that was stationary ( above ) the sun during this time. I myself did not see this one. No vapor trail was ever seen. No sounds. No other aircraft.

Summary : i was walking home with a friend when she saw three blinking dots in the sky, they were not moving, just, hovering there. the weird thing was they seemed to be trianglated.

three dots, blinking white,red,blue,and yellow. flat discs they were perfectly still in the sky.
