I was on my back porch looking up at the stars around 10:20 eastern time, when I observed what looked to be a shooting star. It moved very fast straight down toward the ground in a white ball of light.

I was on the phone with a friend and I told them what I saw. Maybe a minute later I saw something moving at a decent speed moving towards the front of my house. I first noticed it right above where I saw the "shooting star". This object looked simular to a medium sized star. It wasn't big and bright. The light was solid and there was nothing blinking. I ran to the front of my house to keep an eye. Lost of for a few minutes and spotted it again. It seemed to have changed directions. It seemed to be very high in the sky. Higher than any airplane. Then I noticed it looked like it was going up higher. I eventually lost it.

To quick some the description up, small white ball of light coasting through the sky. Did not seem to have a direct path as would an airplane. Traveling west and seemed to be going up after ithe reached a certain point.

When I noticed it, I was on the phone with my boyfriend, and he told me to call the UFO hot line. Can't say for sure if it was a UFO, but definitely was not an airplane.

It moved in an unreal manner.

Early Thursday morning 11-06-08 approximately 0045 hrs I walked out on to my back deck to enjoy a beautiful fall night, always having been interested in the stars I looked to the sky.

Looking to the Northwest approximately 340 degrees, I observed what at first appeared to be a star just above the tree level surrounding my property, it seemed brighter than any of the other objects in the area. Suddenly it moved, it looked as though it ascended very rapidly, a significant distance and then descended to about where it had began. I blinked my eyes thinking … After watching it for a few more seconds it began to move in a sideways motion. At that point I called to my wife and daughter for verification. They both joined me and verified what I believed I had been witnessing. As my wife and daughter observed I went inside to get our Video camera unfortunately the night sky was to dark and the object was to distant to produce any usable images. I then decided to try some still Photography setting up my camera on my tripod and using a wireless remote I proceeded to take still photographs most not showing much more than a point of light. The rapid movements of the object ceased within 10 minutes of first observation, but I continued to watch the object until about 0300 hrs at which point it was behind the tree line.

Just a note that although the object moved somewhat from the first position observed, it did not move at a consistent rate relative to the rest of the objects in the sky. I’m not unfamiliar with the night skies and at the age of 50 have seen many different things but after checking the location in the sky the following evening, and seeing on a perfectly clear evening that there was nothing but dark sky where I witnessed the anomaly the night before, I felt the need to share this. Stange orange glowing object flying across the sky slowly that looked like the moon.

I have a home video of an orange ball that was slowly flying across the sky and the disappeared and came back a couple of minutes later i didnt have it on video when it returned but i have it when we first seen the oblect. I was able to zoom in on it and it looked like the moon exept it was orange and slowly flying acrosss the sky. i know it wasn't the moon because the moon was behind me and was briht white. What can this be??? Please get back to me A.S.A.P.

Very Bright objest in the sky. Green Lights on side and was being followed by regular planes.

It seemed like the brightest star i had ever seen. As i got closer it moved and the other stars didnt. I saw it go through a cloud. There were blinking lights. It had a bright light on the front and green on the side. I turned around and when I was heading in the same direction as the ufo it was gone. But I did see 2-3 blinking lights flying in the direction of the Ufo

Bright light moving off horizon, jumping upward, stopped then dissapeared.

Rising of the ESE horizon it was a rather bright light, not unlike aircraft landing lights (in illumination). It appeared to be normal, although I called the other witness over to look.

It rose in the sky for about 15 seconds then jumped higher ( the same distance it came off the horizon above it previous position) then stopped for a few seconds. Afterwards the light just disappeared ( from our position looking like it went 'really fast' in the opposite direction we were looking) We both waited and watched for another 15 minutes in case it was an aircraft, and it would just appear again not far from were it was.

Perfectly clear night, no clouds. Never came back...

The other witness was very disturbed.

5 nights of peculiar light with mini lights going to and fro.

Date is approxamtly late oct through early dec 1985 I was a young child at the time. My bedroom window faced S.E. and had a great view of the horizon over the treeline.

This event occured 5 days straight with slight variations in activity.

What made this notable was this.

On the first morning at about 05:00 to 05:30 I awoke to a very bright light in the SE sky about 3inches (by extending arm to measure) off the horizon. Having a love of astromony at the time (and currently) I pulled out my favorite starchart and looked to see if it was a conjunction, venus, jupiter etc. It wasn't.

It was very clear out and it being extremely bright(the light) yet twinkling. ANd according to the chart it wasn't any fixed star either.

I watched it until the sun rose. Approxamtly 2 hours or so. And it did not move from it postion whatsoever. I knew then that the celetial sphere should have moved it.

NOW, it was daylight and the thing was 'still' visible. Still twinkiling wildly.

Later that day I mentioned it to my mother. She asked me to get her if I saw it again. And the next morning I woke up without prompting and there it was. I got up, brought over to see it. We watched it until the sun rose. This time I pulled out my 'kids' telescope and we took turns looking at it. I can't recall the final magnification we used but this is what we both saw.

(the resolution was not the best) But it appeared to be oval or disk like in shape, appeared to have lights on the leading edge, red and blue/or greenish. ALthough I assume it was somewhat distored from the heat inside the room and the outside cold air.

We also saw what looked like 3 other pinpoints of light coming from and going back to the light. Making thier way down 'in a zig-zag like movement' then another returning... This just continued for hours.

This occured for 5 mornings straight. I only wish I got up earlier to see when it came visible.

The perspective of our 'point of view' would land the light hovering either between 'Lake Ariel' to as far as 'Moscow/Gouldsboro' Pa.. Hard to say, but they lay in the line of sight from there.
