Lights in sky. Not planes or helicopters, didn't move like drones

I saw on Facebook that people were seeing unidentified objects in the sky near my house so I went outside, not expecting to see anything. Within a couple minutes I saw four unknown lighted things in the sky. Three were very high up and one appeared lower. They did not make any noise, I could hear (and see) airplanes in the area, but no sound from the things with the lights. They were red, yellow, whiteish yellow, and green lights, all seen from the same direction and flashing in a pattern. The lower one also had extremely bright, bluish white light (much brighter than airplane headlights) on the front. Also, from the front you could not see any of the red, green, yellowish white lights. It was just extremely bright white. It was coming towards me at first, but then turned and I could see the other lights flashing in a pattern. It was not like an airplane where the wing light colors are on opposite sides. The lights were set up in kind of like an elongated short triangle or diamond. The closest one went all the way across the sky and went out of view eventually. The higher ones did the same thing, but they were harder to see because they were very high. They didn't move erratically like a drone. I stayed out for a while longer and didn't see anything else.

Lights in sky that I can not attribute to anything I have ever seen before.

I had come out of a property after hunting and was changing clothes on my truck tailgate facing north. After looking up from taking my boots off, I saw the lights in the sky and knew they weren’t like anything I had seen before. There were two small planes in the sky at the time and were easily identifiable by the blinking lights and sound. This was something totally different with no sound and not moving in any direction. It stayed motionless while lights seem to turn off and on in sequential order while one light to the left remained on steady. I grabbed my phone to video because I didn’t think anyone would believe me if I described what I saw. I actually got pretty decent video even though it was dark outside which shows the lights turning on and off. An “upper” light would turn on at the same time a “lower” light would turn off. After re-watching my video, I can say pretty certainly that the lights formed a circular pattern on the right side. The left light in the video never really changes. There is no craft or anything visible other than the lights. The blinking or changing lights went out first and then the single light went out shortly after. I have uploaded two files. One is the original video, the other is one my brother-in-law edited to make things more visible.

Unmoving at first, then flew at us and hovered over the car and froze. Then flew away slowly to the right and out of sight.

Was flying very low to the ground. Not very big, about the size of our car (if it were to be on the ground and not flying, that is.) When we came up on the stoplight it only appeared to be 2 bright, white lights and completely unmoving. As we waited at the stoplight, it flew directly above us, revealing that it was A) a dark triangle and B) had 3 lights at each point of the triangle. It hovered completely, and did not move for a good couple of seconds (about 5 or so.) My dad saw it as well, and we both agree that it moved sideways and out of sight after we drove off. Also, I had the window rolled down for the entirety of the sighting and it was completely silent. The lights never flickered, either. In relation to the actual location, it flew off toward South Maple St and disappeared behind the buildings right beside us.

What looked like a fireball was flying calmly, making sudden turns before abruptly disappearing.

My mom, sister and I were leaving my mom's house when we noticed what appeared to be some kind of aircraft way up high, but it looked like it was on fire. It was orange, BRIGHT orange. Despite this, it was flying calmly and making sudden turns every now and then. It took another sharp turn before suddenly disappearing completely. Traveling on Rt 19 northbound at Hansonville, VA in Russell County when a sequence of lights appeared Traveling northeast. They were clustered on what seemed to be a train moving. Lights disappeared from front to back. Weather was clear. 30 clusters of lights(white) that seemed round. The lights moved in unison until they started disappearing from front to back. 1/2 mile of lights moving like a train.

Two white lights one vertical to the other approx 70 degrees from horizon

Two lights were flying in tandem as I was driving. I thought it was the Phila to Harrisburg regular evening flight but the lights’ arrangement was odd. As I turned into grocery store parking lot, the movement stopped. The lights remained in place as it looked to be over a military area north west of lebanon called Gap. I watched for 5 minutes from dark area of parking lot and took a photo which showed a single circular light, not the two that I saw with naked eye. I returned to route 322 to drive a mile east to a 2nd store and the lights moved parallel to my driving, very fast, but then returned to prior area within a few minutes. When I exited the store I returned to the original parking area to find that they were in a similar location but not exact as I had seen them half hour earlier.

I then returned home and stopped watching. Lights were white and object itself couldn’t be seen. When it was the closest initially I didn’t look since I thought it was a plane.

My girlfriend and I felt a vibration for about 15 minutes, then I went outside and looked up to see a bright light moving slowly across the sky before disappearing into an invisible object. Another light came from another direction being chased by two helicopters and one airplane. One of the helicopters landed in Lebanon for a few seconds and then left not to be seen again. The vibration ended when the first UFO disappeared.

A stationary or slow moving object either dimly lit or illuminated by the moon.

My wife and I were sitting on our porch to observe the rising full moon and see meteors from the Perseid meteor shower. Emerging to the left of the moon we saw a small cluster of lights very slowly moving north. I took a photo of this then a short 5 second video. Not being in a straight line or moving faster I did not think it was the Starlink satellites. I switched my Iphone 13 to a higher video quality option and took a 2 min 58s video. During this time it hovered and/or slowly moved north. No sound.
This object either had lights or the surface was reflecting the moon. I’m thinking reflection because as it moved north it started to dim. The “lights” changed orientation near the end. If it were triangle shaped and changed its angle it would make sense. In studying the photo I could see it was triangle shaped. I stopped the video to move out into our field to get a better look. By then I could still see it but it was so dim I didn’t choose to shoot more video.

Shooting nearly directly into the full moon created havoc with the original video. I had to edit slightly to get rid of the brightness, work on contrast and pixelation.

** I am unable to send my 2 minute 58 second video due to its 2.23 GB file size. Allowed was just a very short clip and photo. In the photo the object is about 10:00 near the moon if you zoom in.

A vertically orientied and tight collection of dozens and dozens of random, blinking lights.

The best way I can describe this in real life phenomena would be if an airplane attached a large tv to its tail and was showing some random patterns of blinking, twinkling, shimmering lights. Kind of like the Ironman plane in Spiderman Homecoming how it has the lights attached to the fuselage to camouflage it. The light pattern all seems to be together on an object and not separate from whatever it was being projected from. They were a warm type of white lights, many different sizes, some shimmered, some blinked and they all seemed to be projected on something oriented vertically. I naturally went to FlightAware to see what was in the sky and there was an Air France flight moving in the same direction at the same time.

I used to live under a flight pattern for CVG when I lived in Cincinnati, Mt. Healthy specifically so I have seen a ton of planes in my life and a lot of satellites. I have no idea what I saw early this morning.

Strange lights appeared then disappeared

I noticed a small light move out from behind a small cloud which looked similar to the stars in the sky, but only about 1500-2000 feet ag.
At first, I thought the cloud moved and exposed a star, but after I realized the cloud wasn't moving, the light seemed like it went behind a curtain and disappeared. Then another one came from behind the same cloud and disappeared in the same location and in the same manner. Two more, coming from the same location, appeared and disappeared like they went behind something...but nothing was there but sky. I turned and told my nephew, who was sitting in the garage, what I was witnessing. Then another one.

There was no noise/sound. There was no other indication of being aircraft or drones.

They were seen while looking East and they seemed to be moving North/NNE.

No searchlights or grand openings nearby.

It seemed to emanate from a single point and looked like it was producing a ring of radiation across the sky west to east.

I noticed it with my girlfriend and my mother at about 2:15 AM on Saturday, June 18th. It looked like it was in orbit or in a quasi orbit at a distance you might see a satellite at. It started in the western half of the sky moving East. At first it looked vaguely like a diffuse glowing cloud seemingly the size of the moon or a bit larger in apparent size. Then it began to take shape as what looked like a point of light producing some kind of beam of light or other kind of radiation pointed towards the earth. It looked as if the point of light produced ionized atmosphere below it in a roughly spherical cloud shape and below that was a ring of what looked like glowing ionized atmosphere. As it moved from west to east it grew in size and became more diffuse looking and continued to be oriented towards the earth as it moved through the sky. Eventually being almost invisible to the naked eye and many many times larger than it started out as. Ultimately fading completely away. I can’t wrap my head around it.

Bright circular moving objects following each other appearing in one area moving then disappearing.

The object(s) that my mom, fiancé, and myself witnessed were multiple circular objects acting in a very unexplainable way. We were looking outside and noticed a very bright “star” or so we thought until it continued to get really bright, move forward and then slowly the light would dimmer and die out, but right before the light would completely die out, another one would appear in the exact location the first one first appeared. What was odd about this was every light would appear in the same spot before moving forward as the light dimmed off. Not all of them were the same brightness either, some were brighter then others, some would start off dim while gradually getting super bright. This was not a shooting start because it was moving upwards in direction and it was nothing that any of us have ever witnessed. This happened for 8 minuets at least from what I watched. I also have a recording of this because I honestly have never seen anything like it before. There were planes in the area as well as other stars and they were 10 times bigger in size compared to those objects in the sky. I could pick this up on my camera as with stars and planes I can’t.

A distinct, tight stream of colored lights (18+) in a straight line moving slowly across sky-definitely not planes-Never seen before

Seen over the area of Lebanon, Oregon, moving from west to east—a stream of bright lights traveling relatively slowly in a straight line with a white “head” and a tight straight stream of distinct, (at least 18) various colored lights (about 2 “fingers” long) following behind—high in the sky but lower than a high flying jet. Clear sky. No evidence of any flaring out like a rocket reentering the atmosphere and the lights did not separate out. The lights appeared to be all connected in a straight line. Two witnesses watched for about 3 minutes from the time we first saw them until they passed out of sight. In our many years of sky watching my Coast Guard veteran husband and I have never seen anything like it! I am a retired College employee with a longtime interest in astronomy.

I was getting in my truck and seen approximately 15 objects in the sky thinking they were planes but then I realized they were in a straight line not to far apart from each other. I told my husband and sister in-law and they witnessed the exact same thing. After about a minute these lights started to disappear and then the last two lights merged together and disappeared as one. My husband tried to get a picture but the objects were to high in the sky to get a clear shot. All of this took place in Wilson County, Tennessee about 9:30 pm Central time.

Two objects that were green, then red, then green hovering and moving at high rate of speed at times for over an hour.

Took my dog out at approximately 0600 and noticed two bright green lights to the west of my home. The lights appeared to be just hovering. The lights appeared to be several miles from my home and closer to the horizon. Then one of the lights moved south at a speed faster than any aircraft that I knew towards Cincinnati. The other light stayed in one position and changed from green to red and then back to green. Eventually the other light returned and joined the other. The two lights moved back and forth, changed colors from green to red, and back to green. At one point one object started to flash, and then stopped. I watched these objects for over an hour until the sun started to come up and then they vanished. I videoed them with my cell phone also.

Bright white spheres remaining stationary in the daytime sky above our home.

We saw two round bright white objects in the daytime sky. They did not move from the spots above our house, for more than 45 minutes. They looked very small due to how high in the sky they were. My husband has pictures of them on our digital camera. One did appear to split in half, then the two parts merged back together, it happened within a second of the split. The other moved a little closer. At times it appeared that the spheres had "tails", but would always resume their spherical shape, and did not move from their positions in the sky. When an airplane was moving in their direction, they moved out of the way of the airplane, then back to their original position. In one of the pictures that my husband took, it appears that there is a line of lights down the center of the sphere.

UFO or Government object looking like a big airplane with red and blue lights

Saw in night sky, about a football stadium away but obviously farther, itUFZo appeared to resemble a large aircraft possibly a DC 10 or 727 but was dark in appearance as we could see the outline. It had a red blinking light in back and blue blinking light in front. As we watched, it appeared to come down quickly in a 15 degree angle. The object did not change size, shape, or color even though it got closer. Then it appeared to hoover for around 5 minutes with both lights flashing red then they blinked back to red and blue. Then we didn't see it again.

A white pill shaped object very high in the sky, much higher than several planes crossing the sky also. It was at times stationary, and at times moving slowly. It was present for around 30 minutes before fading from sight suddenly.

Strange unexplainable “star” like lights lined up in the sky

Saw what seemed to be stars in the night sky, however these “stars” were lined up and moving in a straight line. It’s unknown as to how many there were, there was not enough time to count before they disappeared behind the cover of trees. I would say it was at least 15 of these lights moving in a tight single file line all close together except for 3 in the back that were farther back and more spread out than the others. However they all appeared to be in a straight line moving the same direction. Unfortunately my phone was dead but I don’t believe it would have been able to capture it without a better lens anyway. I’ve never seen anything like this, especially in Maine, but I could not find a reasonable explanation as to what could cause this.

A light at star level moved diagonally, sped up and then raised higher and disappeared.

At around 3:20AM, we noticed a bright light while looking at the stars on Lake Williams. The light slowly strat to move to the right of us. The light was coming from a height much higher than a plane would be flying and it was moving in a diagonal direction at a somewhat steady pace.

An airplane started to come into the area where this light was at a much lower level. As the plane got in closer towards the light, the light picked up speed to where it eventually looked like it raised higher and disappeared.. The light was still in an area that was in our range of view but we could no longer track or see it.

We tried to record it but the light was too far to be picked up by cellphone camera.

Early Saturday morning (7/28/2018), I went outside for some fresh air and to observe the night sky like I have done numerous times. After a few minutes of being out there, I began to notice a 'solid reddish object' moving east to west in a unusually slow manner. I do live a few miles (as the crow flies) from a rural airport that only accomodates single engine small prop planes. I see these type of planes coming and going all hours of the night but they always have blinking aviation lights and you can hear their engines quite easily anytime they are nearby. However, this object had no blinking lights and seemingly was not making any type of sound.

After its slow approach in my general frontal view from east to west, it seemed to almost come to a stop and then began a descent towards the ground in an angled or arched movement however, but not in a straight downward descent. At that point, I lost sight of it as it descended down below thebroof/tree/horizon lin! e that was out in of me in the near distance. In summation, I believe that this was not a typical aircraft (small prop plan or helicopter) and that it was under some sort of intelligent control.

Three witnesses observed an object that maneuvered in different directions

Orb of white light flashing intermittently and changing direction over livestock farmland. Seven hours after alert and 92 miles from MADAR site. Primary witness, his brother, and girlfriend were outside when they noticed a white, intermittently flashing orb hovering behind trees in his backyard. It resembled car’s headlight but there was no road there. It disappeared and then reappeared seconds later above the treetops, flashing for a few seconds then disappeared again. It reappeared behind the trees, downward and to the right of where it was just seconds prior. Witnesses were freaked out and went inside the witness home and watched from the window to see if it reappeared, but it didn’t. It made no noise. Witness suspected it was possibly a drone but nobody lives anywhere even close to where the light appeared to be.

Bright green light covering Northeast horizon of Lebanon CT.

On the end of Waterman RD headed to center of Lebanon. Direction is almost exactly Northeast. The entire horizon is bright florescent green. There is nothing in that direction besides fields, and forest. Windham is too far to the left of where this is. Lights up about 90° worth of horizon to the NE, and the brightest part is just right of NE. Very bright and distracting, almost had an accident because of distraction. When I arrived home, had a friend validate at 11:30 PM and it is still going on.

String of 12 or more lights hovering in a straight line above highway 44 in Missouri with unusual light patterns

Driving toward Saint Louis on highway 44, near Lebanon, we saw a string of lights for about 20 minutes that had a very unusual flash sequence. They seemed to be hovering over the highway.

At first we thought they were a fixed object such as a string of towers of some sort. As we got closer, we realized that they were much to high (maybe a mile or so, hard to say for certain as we were in a vehicle the entire time.) They were in mostly a straight line but not exactly and flashing red and white in a very odd pattern. As we got closer, they headed West, not sure of the speed.

Someone on our bus was able to record it through the windows.

About 20 people saw it.

Nine Shining Objects in the Northern Sky.

A low flying military helicopter flew overhead while I was outside. I look up and then notice something flash in the blue sky. The object by my guess would be 30,000 feet. I looked again at the object thinking it was a jet aircraft. As I focused my vision in on the object I noticed it was twinkling like a star does at night.

Then I notice more objects twinkling. The objects were not flying in a straight line. They were not drifting with the wind or jet stream. They were not falling. They were slowly moving back and forth in an area of the Northern sky. The objects were not in an organized formation or pattern, but scattered in an area.

I counted at least 9 objects that I could see with my naked eye. These objects were witnessed by my father who was with me at the same time.

I work at local urgent care and my father is a retired carpenter. Neither of us have ever seen anything like it in our life time. The best description I could give is bizarre!

It was an orb in the sky pretty far up. Wife thought it was drone for personal use, but it did not move for 10 minutes, and then seemed to leave around the time some planes were flying by.

The original reason to look in the sky was the sound of a fighter jet, and in looking to the sky for the jet, seen the orb. Light clouds did pass over it and it remained for a while. Then dissapeared .

2 of us saw, in the clouds, 2 bright lights seperate from each other. Clouds lit up, as if one of the lights was giving off a lot of light, but both objects were absolutely still.

I went onto my back patio; it was around 8:00, and I looked westward and there was a very bright star looking object in the sky- except there were not any other stars visible as it was still light out and the sky was still blue. It struck me as odd and I just watched it thinking maybe it was a plane but it stayed stationary in the sky. I called for my husband and he came out and saw it too and noted there weren’t any other stars visible. There weren’t any planes around either. He went back inside the house. I took pictures but they didn’t turn out so well. Then it seemed like a dark plane came from behind it. It was a black looking plane. No noise. I watched it fly away but it did seem like it came from under the bright object or behind it. I snapped a few more pictures- I looked down at my camera and when I looked back up it was gone. I have gone out at the same time every night since then to see if there are any stars in that part of the sky even when it’s dark and there aren’t any.

Several Orange Globe Fireball Lights Low in the Sky, Winking Out and Coming Back In Other Locations.

My teenage son roams our 2 acre property every evening, looking at stars and playing with our cats.

He came in to get me a few minutes before 7 and told me he saw some strange orange globe lights in the sky and that he didn't know what they were.

I immediately went out, looked in the northwest sky, just over the horizon and I saw an orange globe fireball light that suddenly split apart and was 3 globes, but they were very very close together and I couldn't tell if it was one or three. My son said the same. He couldn't tell if it was four or one. They stayed in the sky for 15 seconds or so, and then just went out.

Over the next hour and a half the lights came back, all in similar areas, but not exactly the same place. Sometimes the globes were further apart, other times, closer. They were in a straight line. I went inside for a while and my son said they were arranged in a triangle shape at times.

I came back out and saw them one more time. My son caught a 3 second video, but his battery went dead. There was no sound at all.

My son said they looked to be about 3 miles away. I could not tell. The dogs in the neighborhoos were going crazy barking. Our two cats were acting very odd.

I am not sure if this is significant enough to warrant being contacted by an investigator, but you may contact me if desired.

Large circular craft flew silently over man walking his dog.

At around 5:15 am in the morning on February 10th, I took my puppy outside so she could go to the bathroom. As I stood on my lawn, I looked up at the sky. It was still dark and the stars were out. It was a nice, quiet morning.

I glanced up at the northeast sky and was startled to see two white orbs about 20 degrees above the horizon. My immediate reaction was “what in the heck are those things?” They looked about half a mile away. They were stacked vertically (one above the other). The objects had a fuzzy quality. It was like viewing something through fog. Even though the sky was clear. They were moving silently in my direction at about the speed of a sailboat.

At a distance it looked like two objects, however as it approached it appeared to be a single object. It was difficult to see the whole thing, as if it was partly invisible. It was either dark colored and therefore blended in with the black sky or it was transparent in parts. It was odd, like looking at a jellyfish-- parts of it seemed transparent and parts of it appeared solid.

As it glided overhead I got a good look at the underside of it. The center was the most distinctive and clear thing that I could see. The outer edges were barely visible and dark. The center was a bright white light that was triangular in shape. There was another circular white light in the center of the triangle. The lights were steady, not blinking or flashing. I drew a picture of what it looked like (attached).

The sides of the triangle in the center were not exactly three straight lines as pictured (I’m not that handy with drawing tools). It had three corners, but the sides of the triangle were bowed-in by the arcs of the circular things surrounding it. As you can see in my drawing, there were several faint circles that seemed to make up the perimeter of the craft. The dot in the center of the triangle was also white but distinctive from the white triangle. I believe it was a little darker.

As it moved overhead, I pulled out my cell phone and tried to record some video. However when I checked the video later, it was too dark and nothing came out in the recording. The object was pretty big, about the size of a large dinner plate held at arm’s length. It made no sound at all. It was difficult to judge its altitude. I would guess less than 500 feet.

The object continued on its straight path, heading southwest (bearing about 210 degrees). I lost sight of it behind the trees on my property. The entire event lasted about 30 seconds.

This is the 2nd time I’ve seen something strange like this in the sky. The first was on 9/9/2015 from the same location (which I reported to your web site). However, in that case the objects were red, white, blue, and orange.

I have no idea what this thing was. It was too large and quiet to be a drone, and it wasn’t an airplane.

Several clusters of red, blue blinking lights in the sky moving in strange patterns over 3 hour period

Last night (9/9/2015), I walked out of my house at about 8:30 pm to go close the door on our chicken coop for the evening. As I was walking back up the driveway towards my house I saw a red, blue, and white cluster of lights traveling up from the south. The cluster flew directly overhead (traveling in a northerly direction).

I initially thought it was a plane. Where I live, it is not uncommon to see red flashing running lights of commercial airplanes flying south to north. My guess is that these planes fly up from California heading north to the Portland airport. So they are often visible in the Willamette Valley (where I am located). The planes stick to a regular pathway, and I see them on a fairly regular basis (sometimes during the day and sometimes at night). Nothing unusual about it.

I am not an aviation expert, however I am convinced the lights I saw last night were not airplanes. For the following reasons: 1) There were at least 12 different sets of these flashing lights visible over a period of three hours 2) Several times they stopped moving, clustered together, and then changed directions 3) The lights were brighter than a commercial aircraft and appeared lower in the sky than the planes I sometimes see in the night sky.

In addition, the paths that these lights took did not conform to the regular pathways I see commercial aircraft travel. They were predominantly moving south to north, however not all of them. Some came from other directions (out of the west moving east, or out of the east moving north.

I was very intrigued by what I was watching, so I went into my house and asked my wife to come outside. She came out onto the lawn and we both watched at least four different sets of these lights traveling in a south to northerly direction over the course of about five minutes. She shrugged and said she didn’t know what they were and went back into the house.

So after a few minutes, I went into the house too. About 30 minutes later, I went back outside to see if the lights were still around. And they were. Over the course of the next two hours I watched them travel around the sky. It was kind of cold (upper 40’s, low 50’s) so I didn’t stay outside the entire time. I’d watch them for 20 minutes or so, go in the house to warm up, then go back out again.

I took about six short videos of the lights with my cell phone. However, none came out very well. The video caught a few blinking flashes, but the quality is pretty poor.

At about 11:15 pm, I went back out to check again and they were gone. So by my count they were in the sky from about 8:30 (just after dark) and hung around for almost three hours.

The general pattern of travel and behavior of the lights were as follows: a) They traveled from the southern horizon (like at the tree line) then traveled north-northeast to basically the other horizon. So I would look south and watch them come up, fly overhead (or in some cases say 10 degrees off the eastern horizon) then I’d have to turn 180 degrees until I was facing north. The lights would come to rest above the northern horizon and hold that position. That wasn’t the exclusive pattern. Sometimes it was the opposite (coming out of the north, then coming to a stop on the southern horizon). I also saw them coming out of the east (as if they were coming over from the direction of the City of Bend). Others would came out of the west. However I would say 85% of the time the pattern was south to north, then coming to a stop in the northern sky. Then they would either blink out or keep moving north until they were out of sight. One cluster seemed to sit there the entire time I was watching. Most of the others seemed to move around, come and! go, but this one seemed to remain in view constantly.

b) The speed of travel wasn’t particularly fast. I would say slightly faster than what a commercial aircraft speed looks like in the sky. They certainly weren’t zipping around, darting from one corner to another at high speeds. Just sort of a lazy, steady speed moving from one side of the horizon to the other.

c) Over the period of time that I watched these things, a few of the light clusters approached each other. At one time—I saw three clusters come fairly close together and hold their position for a few minutes. Then they moved back away from each other. That really convinced me that something about this was quite strange and certainly not an airplane.

I suppose they could have been helicopters. We’ve had a lot of wildfires in the region this summer and maybe there were helicopters moving equipment around? That’s the only explanation that I can think of. And I think that’s a bit of a stretch since I didn’t hear any sound whatsoever. Again, I’m no aviation expert—however it would seem dangerous for helicopters to fly so close together in clusters at nighttime.

At one point, I tried contacting a friend of mine who lives in the neighborhood to see if he could see them too. Unfortunately, it was late by then and I wasn’t able to reach him. However, I was glad to see on your web-site that there was a couple from Lebanon that reported something similar on 8/19/2015 and on 8/11/2015.

Bright white light moves fast flashes red and descends rapidly toward ground. 2nd white light seen moving.

Lebanon, OR 8:45 pm. My husband and I were out for a run. The sun was just going down and there was a little light left.

I saw a bright light in the sky moving. I thought it was odd it was so bright even though it was still semi-light out and I didn’t see any other stars in the sky. I watched it for awhile and noticed it was moving fast, changed directions multiple times, hovered then flashed white to red 3x and once flashed bluish-green before turning to red completely. Then the light descended directly down behind the tree line (see video). A second light was spotted moving and changing directions but was lost behind the tree line.

I saw a very similar sighting about a week ago (also reported on this site). The light was in approximately the same area of the sky as the light I reported last week and behaved similarly.

Bright white light moving fast in sky turns red suddenly, changes directions and begins to descend then a second white light is seen.

Lebanon, OR ~9:30 pm. I looked through my house window and noticed a bright light moving fast in the sky. I had heard there were meteor showers happening tonight, so I went outside to watch. But, the light was moving very fast and not like the meteors I have seen. Then I had the thought it was a planet or satellite. The light was very bright white light.

Then the light started to slow down and it changed directions multiple times.

At this point, I had no idea what this thing could be-it wasn’t behaving like the meteors, planets or satellites that I typically see in the sky. I went inside quickly to get my cell phone to take photos/video and get my husband. He then came outside and watched the light with me.

At this point the light suddenly changed from bright white to red. This was really weird to see happen and kind of freaked us out! Then the light started to descend even more when we lost it behind the tree line. It looked as if it was descending toward the ground.

We walked down the block to see if we could spot it behind the trees. We then saw another white light moving similarly (speeding up/slowing down, changing directions suddenly and then looked to descend toward the ground). We followed it as long as we could before it moved out of sight. We did not see the second light change color like the first one.

I have attached photos of the light after it changed red. The light looked very large and bright. I took video of the light for at least 20 seconds, I saw the video recording and we only turned it off when the light descended from view but for some reason only about 2 seconds of the video saved…. Not sure what is up with that!

I was traveling on I-78 at approximately 3:50am by exit 24, when for whatever reason I decided to look up at the sky. Towards the right of the highway I noticed what I thought was a star (because it was momentarily stationary) until it streaked across the sky and disappeared.

I definitely know for act that it was not a shooting star because I have seen them before and this did not resemble a shooting star. It was undoubtedly a UFO because the distance in which it streaked and disappeared was so short.

There was a light moving in a cornfield behind my fathers house which appeared to respond to lights.

I was driving home from a friend’s house on Sunday around 1000 in the evening when I received a call from my father. He told me that there was a floating blinking light moving around the cornfield in his backyard. As a skeptic, I told my father that I would come over and retrieve it. I arrive at the house at roughly 1030 in the evening and head to the back door to meet my father. I look into the cornfield and can see an oval shaped light flickering roughly 120 meters away from us. It flashed like a strobe and was a milky white consistency. The light emanated from the center of the object and would rise from out of the corn and then lower back into the corn. I tried the best I could to come up with a logical explanation to the item but could not. It was windy yet it would remain in place, if it been a balloon it would have popped or blown away. I decided to inspect the area. As I neared the end of our yard to the line of corn, I heard sounds that I could not ! identify. I could tell by the sound something was moving in the corn, but also some sort of weird watery chewy sound that I can’t exactly describe. Deciding not to enter the field I returned to the house. The light continued to raise and lower into the corn. I decided to flash a light on it from the house, and it receded into the corn. After a few minutes it came back out. We sat and watched it through binoculars and a night vision scope trying to figure out what it was. At around 100 in the morning, it receded into the corn and did not appear again. After 30 minutes of waiting we decided it had left and went to bed. In the morning, I decided to search the corn field for evidence with my father. My father and I are both military trained and have extensive knowledge in tracking, as well as being alert to our surroundings. There were no signs of activity. No footprints, no trash, no animal footprints, nothing. My father is an older man and the images are a bit shaky. It scare! d the dog which was inside the house, as it remained in the ba! ck of it s cage.

Three of us met on a country road south of town for a walk at 6am. Further south there are mountains. An object rose from behind the mountain. It had a splayed out light behind it. The sky was dark so it was not possible to see what the object was. It was moving rather fast in an upward movement. It simply faded out and disappeared. A video I took was completely black. Another friend snapped a still image which came out pretty well.

Bright fireball sighted and followed, then minutes later it dissapeared.

It was about 10:30-10:45 pm and we were driving down Cumberland St at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue when we saw the fireball light in the sky.

First saw it moving upwards, then remained steady and then started traveling in a straight direction. We followed it and kept pace with it (it was then all but directly above us but all the way in the sky).

After turning down a couple streets to continue following it, it elevated higher in the sky and just vanished.

It was a bright orange-y color and almost glowed or had a slight flicker to it.

We were on our way home on highway 840 when we noticed a large bright object moving slowly being the amazon warehouse. We pulled over to get a better look at it. When we came to a stop it did too. It made no noise and It was fully illuminated with lights on both the top and the bottom. The lights were white and red. It was disk shaped and was quite large. It looked like it was getting closer to the ground so we got back in the car and started going again. It went behind the tree line and we couldn't see it anymore. Within minutes we saw helicopters with search lights heading in the direction we had seen the craft.

A Football Like shaped mothership seen east of Lebanon, Il

I was driving towards Lebanon from O'Fallon on US Highway 50 around 12:26 in the afternoon. The sky was clear blue and about 30 degrees up from the horizon I saw a lil patch of dark smoke that expanded out of no where until it thinned out in the sky and thats when I saw this huge football like object. At first I thought, how cool, a Good Year Blimp, and then I realized it wasn't the letters GOODYEAR written on it but 2 rows of what appeared to be windows. This thing was huge and in the distance because it blended in with the sky like how you would see the moon in the blue sky on a clear sunny day. After about 10 seconds it faded into the blue of the sky as if a cloak was activated. This wasn't over the city of Lebanon, it looked like it was way on the other side of the town in the country farm lands. It was huge, slow and in the distance.

On August 16, 2013, I was driving on I-840 between Lebanon, TN, and Murfreesboro, TN, about dusk. I was enjoying the beautiful large low clouds with the sun setting behind them and taking pictures with my I-phone.

I noticed that in front of one very large white cloud there was an elongated dark object. It looked to be partially in the cloud but was clearly visible.

One end of the object was pointed and the other end was blunt. It appeared to be moving southwest to northeast with the sharp end being the “front”.

I took a photo of the object with my I-phone and have looked it the picture enlarged and it’s inconclusive but does appear to be of an opaque object.

At this time I believe the object to have been a UFO.

at approximately 12:22am 7/18/13 thursday morning myself and 2 other witness,s observed the strangest occurence any of us have ever seen ...

At 12:22am thursday morning we observed a bell shaped object in the sky. ...

The object was white ,,, it glowed like the moon ...

No navigational lights ,,, no beacon light ,,, no engine or rotor sound what so ever ....

The bell shaped objects glow intensified a brilliant white ....

With very little motion ,,, it made a adgile right turn and dropped altitude dimming just before a very ominious yellow and orange flame appeared engulfing the bell shaped object ....

At this very moment the bright yellow and orange flames and the craft dissapeared ...

Immediately i was checking N.W.S to check for weather anomallies dew points and cloud cover ....

The 3 of us were very perplexed about what we had witnessed !!!! Myself ive been in aviation for 8 +years ..... Out of 54 years of life ,,, and 4 years US airforce ,,, and 4 + years civilion aviation ,,,, this baffles me !!!!! at this point i can only hypothsize at the physics at hand ....

Iam very educated in aviation .... Ive had and seen / alot .... I personally knew Neil Armstrong ,,, I am willing to state for the record ,,,, this bell shaped craft was not of this world !!!! my personal belief is that when the craft burst into flames it was like it was entering a rift or porthole .... Because the craft and the flames seemed to have been pulled into window so to speak ,,, and the craft and the flames dissapeared so fast!!!!!

I was on break at work on 3rd shift. Myself and few others were sitting and smoking a cigerette. One guy who is former air force all of said guys what is that? As I looked along with the 3rd witness, we saw a fireball looking object in the distance. We all thought it was a plane on fire going down. But as soon as it showed up it hovered for a few seconds and seem to get brighter and larger then just vanished. Completely gone. We all thought what the hell was that. We agreed that with in the hour we would check news and see if it was a plane crash. It came back negative for any type of plane crashing. The next day after talking we though night jumpers with flares.

I personally called numerous jump places to ask if they had jumped at 0022. They all had same response and that is no one is allowed to jump after a certain time and they don't so that kind of jumping in warren county. I still have a voicemail to prove it. Whatever we saw, it wasn't a flare I know from being in the marines. It wasn't a plane. I do know I never have seen anything like it before.

a critical detail is that someone posted a video of sighting UFOs very near me just 3 days ago

Sirs: At approximately 11:30am, I was pulling into a shopping center parking lot in Lebanon Ohio. I immediately took notice of an oval-oblong chrome object moving silently across a crystal clear blue sky. No clouds in sight. I immediately parked my car and got out and continued to watch it as it moved to the west. As I was watching it, another object, oval-oblong chrome, seemed to 'appear' and began moving north toward Dayton.

The first object continued in its west direction. The objects made no sound. Then a passenger jet began approaching from the west. It looked like a JET - no confusion. It was distinctly a passenger Jet. Curious about the sighting, I googled the search UFOs seen over Lebanon Ohio June 19, 2013.

To my surprise, a video is posted of a "fleet of UFO's seen over Montgomery Ohio on June 16, 2013". Montgomery is about 20-30 minute drive south of Lebanon. Here is the link to that video

Bright white non-blinking star-like lights began moving across Lebanon,Pa. night sky.

Staring out at the night sky, the stars and planets are pretty easy to spot tonight, however; two stars that were just sitting still and somewhat bright one a few minutes after the other began to move very slowly at first then picked up speed the fist one went to the west than seemed to head deeper into space til it was out of sight, the other did the same but headed southward heading but move deeper into to space, both made subtle course changes, and both gave off a bright steady field of light and both just prior to heading deeper out to space seemed to get noticeably brighter and much faster.

The time of the first was 11:01pm the second was 11:08pm, further note several flashes and what sounded like lightning booms from just over the horizon to the west but no storms on any weather maps passing bye us during a completely clear night sky, note that both objects looked like one of the stars just sitting in place up in the night sky, then I noticed the first began to move slightly out of place from the other stars then began picking speed. The second didn't begin to move until the first one had move off to what looked like further into space til I was no longer to make out it's motion, but just prior to it moving off like I mentioned it seemed to get much brighter than it was gone. The same thing happened with the second, they both made subtle course changes as well, so I new they weren't meteors. but the first I can say was just sitting there for 23 minutes before it began to move, I almost didn't notice it til I began to look at some other stars just to the right! of it. The second one was actually kind of cluster with 5 other stars or lights but after I'd watched the second one move off I turned to look back at where it had first seemed positions and the other lights/stars it had been clustered near were gone as well, almost as if they had just faded slowly unnoticeably further out to space or just dimmed out. Also, wanted to note again, the sky here was completely cloudless and clear with no storms passing near my position on any weather maps I'd checked from Accuweather and my WeatherChannel apps.

I am not one that puts too much thought into extra terresrial life, I do believe they exist but can't convince myself they are anymore advanced than ourselves though how hard would that be? lol.

However, this morning May 14th 2013 at 3:15am myself and a coworker were coming home from work to Campbellsville on U.S. 68 west and shortly after passing the poor boys resaraunt I spotted something in the sky I believed to be a stadium light.

Asked my co-worker if there was anything back that way cause i'm relatively new to the area he said there's a tower with a red blinking airplane light somewhere but this did not have a red light and was not blinking.

As we approached closer we came to realize it was something flying but not moving or making sound. Ok, kinda strange.

Then we got to where we were directly beneath it. It was no more than 200 feet in the air, light were facing forward only and hovering there making no sound.

I was astounded and frightened, I cannot describe the mass of it only the large forward facing lights like stadium lights and it looked like there was something strobing within the structure but was obscured by something like it was internal but you could kind of see thru the outter skin of this craft into the inside of it.

I don't know,Ii've not been able to stop talking about it and everyone thinks I've gone mad besides the other guy who rides to work with me.

I know I won't be so skeptical about these things from now on and would like to learn more incase anyone knows of a new type of military aircraft capable of hovering and making no sound with an opaque skin or force field

Witnessed an orange in color light shaped as a circle, moving across the sky, from the southern horizon to the north.

I came outside to smoke a cigarette. I know the exact time it was in the air as I had placed a call to the comm center for someone else to run out and witness this. At the time I placed the call the object was directly overhead (just east) of my position. When I came outside I noticed an object that looked similar to an orange in color streetlamp. Only the object seemed to be moving as would maybe a plane would. So I just watched it but initially paid no attention for the first few seconds as I thought it was just a plane. As it came closer to my position I noticed it was "different". I started to pay more attention to it. I dont remember it getting brighter as it closer, I just thought why is that street light moving? I then began thinking "someone else has got to see this". But it was hard for me to get my phone out and make a call because i felt that i didnt want to miss any of this. I made a call then to a co-worker to come outside. There was absolutely no sound. It seemed to be orange in color, and maybe just a little bit oblong, as to a circle. I waited for some type of sound as it was closer to me now than before. Judging the distance from my viewpoint and that the sky was somewhat overcast, I was in shock that i did not hear anything. By the time my co-worker had made it outside it was indistinguishable. It seemed as though the tail end was somewhat not as bright as the front. I lost sight of it through a tree on the opposite horizon. The craft came from the south and headed north bound. Seeming to pass right over the city of Lebanon. I believe it came from a south easterly direction then seemed to maybe "curve" to take a direct north bound path. I knew the sky was overcast as I could only see a star or two in the sky. This object seemed to not be obstructed whatsoever from cloud cover. so im guessing it was somewhat "low" altitude. the sighting lasted about 1.10 minutes. Thats m! y best judgement. It never changed color or shape, only as it ! passed o ver the tail end seemed to be "dimmer" than the front. I dont believe it was a "perfect circle", but It didnt seem to be cigar shaped or egg shaped. Thats the best description I can recall. It did somewhat shake me up, because I knew it didnt seem to be a plane or helicopter like ive witnessed numerous times. As I work in a 911 center in Lebanon County, I was excited to go back in hoping to get some calls on a strange light in the sky. We received no calls regarding any lights or aircraft.

A silent string formation,8-10 amber lights traveling at an angle and making a snake movement as it changed direction before vanishing.

I was taking my dog out approximately at 23:40. I looked up at the big dipper and saw 8-10 faintly amber lights in a string formation heading easterly. They appeared to be very high and made no sound. Approximate length was about the distance from the top of the big dipper to the bottom.

They were traveling east at a slant, with the right side leading. After they traveled a good distance they began to head south and the whole formation followed the right leading light and almost made a snake type movement before they then again started heading south east and then faded.

The sky was dark as there was no moon and my neighborhood was not very bright with exterior lights that night .

At approximately 23:00 the two of us saw a flicker outside the window. At first, I thought it was someone shooting off fireworks.

Upon opening the curtains, we saw a slow-moving object flying lower than most planes (helicopter height). There was absolutely no noise. It had brilliant, FLASHING orange lights (like an intense strobe light) and a bright red light on top.

We could not make out a shape behind the lights.

It traveled from East to West in a straight line over the course of about ten minutes.

We've never seen anything like it before.

Although we're more inclined to think it's some kind of military thing, we've never seen anything like it before.

Two dimly lit spherical objects, moving at a fast speed, observed in Lebanon, PA.

I live in a third floor apartment, with a door the leads to the roof of the building. Tonight, I went out around 22:15 to smoke. I noticed a plane in the very clear night sky. In my peripheral vision, I saw movement that I thought, initially, to be a shooting star. I looked in the direction of that movement, and saw nothing at first, until I notice movement again. I kept looking at the area, and saw something moving in my direction. As it got closer, I was able to, very clearly, see two dimly lit spheres moving at a very fast speed. The spheres were flying very close to each other, roughly 50 feet next to each other, possibly closer. The light coming from them was dark yellow to orange in color. I continued to follow the objects across the sky moving towards the aforementioned plane, which was now almost directly above me, but on a higher level in the sky than the spheres. I watched the spheres pass underneath the plane, a distance of about 2,000 to 3,000 fe! et, and zip over my house and out of sight. There was no sound associated with these objects, even at the speed they were moving. The spheres themselves were about 300 to 500 feet above me. The entire event lasted roughly 30 seconds.

Object was seen hovering and moving around in a circular motion over Lebanon TN area and then moved North toward Hartsville area where it hovered for a few hours. It was flashing green, yellow, red, and blue lights. Not sure what shape the object is. It is definitely flashing very bright red, blue, green, and pretty sure yellow lights and just hovering. Every so often it will circle a little or move back and forth and then just hover. Moved from Lebanon area, North toward Hartsville but further past that area. Possibly edge of Ky. Have a telescope on the object but unable to make it out other than very fast flashing red, blue, green, and looks like yellow lights that seem to be going in a circle.

Orange lights flying north to south dropping something and disappearing.

A group of three bright orange flying/hovering objects was observed above treeline heading in a southern direction from my house. The objects would travel past my house from the north and then disappear in the south. Two members of my group noticed something falling from the craft at several points in their flight. One of the craft appeared to disintegrate after dropping something to the ground. The lights were erratic in flight and seemed to fade and then brighten.

One of the members of my group ( a 42 y/o housepainter) was actually in a different location in town but went outside to view the orange objects when I called him. At his location the objects were also visible and were seen by a large group of people.

My viewing group was a 5 year old boy, 8 year old boy, myself- 37 year old middle class woman with a college education, and a man in his 50's in the construction industry.

Witnessed four bright red orbs hovering in the sky on Rte 20 near Lebanon Valley Speedway

While driving on Rte 20 heading East. I rounded the corner onto a long stretch of road where Lebanon Valley Speedway is. My wife an I noticed 4 red orbs hovering in the night sky on the opposite side of the road from Lebanon Valley Speedway Objects had no blinking lights or other indication that they were helicopters or airplanes.

Originally thought possible flares, but objects were clustered together, with no smoke trails or indication of flame. Two of the objects started slowly drifting south. Remaining objects stayed stationary.

I rounded the corner and lost site of the objects.

Shortly afterwards a jet that was moving VERY fast went over the area we had seen it.The object that fell was very bright but we did not see it fall to the ground.

UFO Over Lebanon, MO

This video was taken in Lebanon, MO on 5/26/12 at 4:49am using generation 3 pvs-7 night vision goggles recording onto a Sony Cybershot camera.

I immediately discounted it as a plane since it was flashing, but then as it got closer I noticed it had 3 lights and then as it got even closer it actually had 4 lights.

This craft appeared silently in the sky over Lebanon, MO, approximately 3-4 miles in the air at 146 deg SE, traveling NW at 320 deg unknown rate of speed.

Appears to be some sort of craft that may be mimicking an airplane since it has flashing lights. You can clearly see 4 bright lights (maybe engines) that are connected by some sort of dense frame structure.

Also appears to connect through the middle of the craft from the front light to the back light.

After altering the contrast etc I was able to determined from the video that the tail light flashes, then the left light followed by the nose light. It does not appear that the right light flashes at all.

Once it passed over me the goggles became too saturated with the light and washed out the object and prevented me from getting a sharp image.

Three reddish orange lights flying in formation over Lebanon, PA

About 21:30, my mother noticed unusual lights visible above the trees across the road in the western sky and asked me what I thought they were. My father, mother and I went out to look and saw three reddish orange lights flying more or less in a row. They were bright and appeared to be about the same brightness and size as Venus. It was a still night, but we couldn’t hear any sound. They flew towards the northeast and were visible for about five minutes before they passed one at a time into or over a cloud. It wasn’t possible to determine how high they were flying. They seemed to be flying about as fast as a typical plane does and weren’t flying in an unusual fashion.

My mother and I thought that there was a single light associated with each object. My father thought there might have been three lights, but all a reddish orange hue. He also felt that the objects were oriented diagonally to the ground. The lights didn’t blink.

I had wondered initially if they might be fire balloons, but after watching them, I felt that they were moving like guided craft, not subject to a breeze. They seemed to maintain an even spacing throughout the time they were in view.

I am a biologist, my mother is a retired nurse and my father is a retired aeronautical engineer who worked with carrier based jets and marking and lighting systems.

Very bright, pulsing/flickering object, flying in the Northern sky over NJ

This sighting happened at about 2:10 to 2:15am, 3/23/2012... I was getting ready to go to bed, and as I am an amateur astronomer part of my nightly ritual before I go to bed I look outside my bedroom window and give the skies a visual scan... I do this to see how the sky looks (if it's clear, what the stars look like, etc..) My bedroom window looks out towards the Northern sky. Not much of anything too exciting in that part of the sky, but as I looked out at the clear night sky I noticed something that resembled a bright "star" flickering/pulsing with many colors towards the North. It was very bright and it was flickering/pulsing like crazy and changing colors... almost like when you look at a star through a telescope on a night where there is a lot of turbulence in the atmosphere.

I immediately knew that this was NOT a star, as there are no stars that shine this brightly in this part of the Northern sky and it wasn't Jupiter or Venus which are at roughly in the West to NorthWestern part of the sky. It was at about 45 to 50 degrees in elevation in relation to the horizon, and pretty far away. It's hard to say how far, as it was dark, but if I had to guess I would say it was at least 4 or 5 miles away. It was about as bright, or maybe slightly brighter, as Jupiter when it's high up in the sky at night, and gain it was flickering/pulsing in many brilliant colors (Red, Blue, Green, White, etc).

I stood there at the window watching this strange "star" for a few seconds when all of a sudden it started moving to the right (towards the East) very quickly and stopped... and then went back towards the West and stopped. As soon as I saw this I gasped loudly which startled my wife who was in a sound sleep and woke her up. It's movement reminded me of a spinning top... in how it spins in place but all of a sudden will change directions... it's an abrupt but fluid movement. At first I told myself may it was my imagination and it was like an optical illusion where I thought I was motionless while watching this "star" but my own slight movements made me think I was seeing movement... but then all of a sudden it went straight up a bit, like it gained altitude and quickly went back down. At this point I was kind of freaked out! So I asked my wife to come and look at this and tell me if I was just me imagining things... She came to the window and it was motionless for a few ! seconds agin and as she watched it, BOOM! It started to move quickly from East to West and then back from West to East again! She gasped as well as she didn't expect it to move like this.

I continued to watch this object as it seems be slowly flying away from us towards the North as it continues to make the abrupt but fluid (I know this is a strange way to describe, but it's the only way I can explain it) movements. It was definitely NOT and airplane or a helicopter, or any sort of conventional aircraft... I am very familiar with aircraft and this object did not have standard navigational lighting like an aircraft would have. And the abrupt/fluid movements it made cannot possibly be made by a conventional aircraft as we know it. After watching it for about 5 minutes it got further away and lost it over the roofs of the houses behind my house and couldn't see it any longer.

I do not know what this object was, but I can tell you with certainty (due to my many years of experience with the night sky/amateur astronomy and my knowledge of aircraft) that this was something extraordinary. It wasn't a planet or star, it wasn't a satellite, and most definitely was not a conventional aircraft. I have no idea what it could have been. I would really be interested to find out if you received any other reports from New Jersey that corroborate my sighting.

Flashing red, blue lights around stationary object with white lights: seen Nov, 5, 6, & 8 in western sky of Maine.

My wife and I witnessed an object on Nov. 8, 2011, in the western sky that appeared to be stationary. It glowed and had flashing red and blue lights that flashed (or strobe) around the object in a CCW manner. White lights were also around the object, but these didn‘t seem to be flashing.

The object could have been cylindrical in shape but could have been V-shaped. This object was not a plane or helicopter as it did not appear to move much as witnessed to be in the same general location several hours later. Possibly the rotation of the earth could make it appear to move slowly down in the western sky as time passed.

We originally thought it may be the ISS or a satellite but this appeared to be larger and/or closer to us. This object was also seen for several nights before we both saw it. What is this??

Bright blueish fireball type object in Lebanon

I was driving to the Little Ceaser's on Columbus Ave. in Lebanon, when, as I was passing Dairy queen to my right, I noticed to my left an extremely bright blue fireball type of object going down toward the horizon very quickly. It disappeared behind the treeline.

The object looked like a huge meteor coming down very quickly, but was much too large and bright.

Very unsual.

ALL IT MY STATEMENT

MY WIFE AND HER FRIEND CALLED ME TO THE BACK YARD TO SEE SOMETHING MOVING IN THE SKY. IT WAS DARK IN THE SKY NO SUN SET LEFT. I WAS LOOKING WEST AS THEY POINTED. WHAT I FIRST SAW WAS A BRIGHT, BRIGHT LIGHT IN THE FAR WEST MOVING EAST. (IT WAS A LILLE FARTHER NORTH THAN US MAYBE 1/2 MILE) AS IT MOVE ACROSS THE SKY IT LOOKED THE SAME. LIKE SOMETHING IN THE CENTER(TO HAZY & BRIGHT TO SEE) WITH BRIGHT RAYS STICKING OUT A LITTLE. I COUNTED AT LEAST EIGHT. AS IT MOVE IT STOPPED AND WEAVED BACK AND FORTH A LITTLE. IT MOVED SLOWER THAN A AIRPLANE AND NO SOUND. WE ARE OVER HALF WAY A CROSS THE VALLEY WE LIVE IN. AS WE WATCH IT GO THE LIGHT DID NOT CHANGE IN SIZE OR SHAPE.IT WAS NOW NORTH OF US AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD CHANGE,AS IT STARTED MOVING A WAY FROM US TO THE EAST.BUT IT LOOKED THE SAME, NO CHANGE ON A DIFFERENT ANGLE. I RAN IT THE HOUSE AND GRABBED MY BINOCULARS AS I RAN OUT THE GIRLS WERE YELLING FOR ME TO COME OUT. THE OBJECT WAS GROWING LARGER ( X3 ) AND QU! ITE BRIGHTER. I THREW THE BINOCULARS UP WHAT I SAW WAS THE SAME BUT LARGER, A BRIGHT WHITE CENTER WITH THE EIGHT OR SO RAYS COMING OUT. IT HAD STOP FOR A FEW SECONDS WHEN IT WENT BRIGHTER. NOW IT DIMMED BACK TO HOW IT WAS BEFORE. AS IT MOVED NE ( NOW AWAY FROM ME ) IT STAYED THE SAME SIZE. AND AS IT WENT IT SWAYED BACK A FORTH SLOWLY. THE HOLE TIME IT WAS ABOUT THE SAME HEIGHT. wierd craft hovering over state route 48 in lebanon

on my way to school i saw two white lights in the distance. i was confused because i drive that route every day and dont remember those lights on the horizon. did they put up a new radio tower? as i got closer the lights proved to be attached to something. i pulled up to a red light. there was a car next to mine with a man and his teenage son inside. they were both looking up and i saw the man mouth to his son "what is that?" it was hovering right over the road. it was about the size of a suv. a dark charcoal gray color, it was a wierd shape. almost like a turtle. it had a pointed front end, then coming off the sides were rectangular 'wings' that had the lights i saw from the distence attached to either end. at the back were two smaller pointed protrusions. i dont know how long the craft had been there when i got there or who else mightve seen it. i had to get to school so i slowly drove away.i dont know how long it stayed after i left but it was hovering ov! er state route 48 at the intersection after cook road if youre going towards wal mart. i rolled down my window and it was completely silent

I was driving along at about 2am,and i noticed lights in the sky. At first there were 4, lights in a straight line, then the lights made an almost rectangular shape. The only difference between the shape i seen and a rectangle was that if you picture a rectangle and the bottom 2, angles were further apart than the top 2.

V or triangle shaped object.

I am not even sure what to put down, this happened so fast. I was outside work smoking when I thought I saw something very strange. It went by so fast I didnt even have a chance to get my phone camera out. My first impression was that it was a large bird though there was no wing movement, then I thought it must be a hang glider or an ultralight though I have never seen them around here. We had low cloud cover this morning and it was below the clouds. I was looking at the clouds when it just appeared in front of me about 2 o'clock and moving to the south, pretty much following I65. There was no noise or exhaust trail and it was moving extemely fast. Within 3 or 4 seconds it was out of sight. The item was brown and v shaped from what I could tell. If I had to guesstimate a size, about 1 inch at arms length which seems so small but it was not a bird,, no bird I know of can move that fast.

4 huge reddish/orange balls of light on the 4th of July 2010

WE were all sitting out by the street with our lawn chairs watching the town's fireworks show at approx 10:00 PM..the fireworks lasted 20 minutes. we all started lighting our fireworks and so did a few other neighbors down the street. all of a sudden this woman yelled what is that you guys. we all stopped and looked directly to our East. there was a ball of reddish/orange whatever. moving from SW To NE. silent and huge. place your index finger bottom at the edge of the ground and the top of your finger is the approx height up. then all of a sudden another one and another one then another one. the last one veered off to the NW and circled the town then proceeded in the same flight path as the others which was NE. This was certainly something to see as whatever it was was most interested in what had been going on.

Strange lights in South Central Missouri Night Sky

We live in a rural part of Missouri about 30 miles southeast of Fort Leonard Wood, so I don’t know if these incidents are related to the base???? Last night was the 2nd or 3rd time my 13 year old has seen these lights in the night sky, but my first full experience.

We were driving home and the lights just appeared (there were other planes flying in the area and these were not the same kind of lights). They had a sort of yellowish glow and there were 3 at first in a triangular shape all the same brightness and then they just faded out, next they lit up one at a time but in 3 different spots and then just faded away.

After that, the lights took the shape of a half moon and lit up one right after the other in rapid succession from top to bottom then bottom to top (sort of like a tail of a huge firework, there were none in the area). After the half moon shape, they lit up straight up and down lighting up in rapid succession again and then fading out, followed by the lights lighting up in 3 different spots again shaped sort of like a triangle and then fading out.

We weren’t close enough to see anything other than the lights, but my 13 year old has seen this same thing before above the field in the back of our home???

Multiple objects, at least 50, flew in formation near my home in Lebanon, TN. The objects were absolutely silent. The weather was clear and ground level winds reported at zero MPH. The objects approached from the west and curved to the north before disappearing into the night. The objects near the end seemed to speed up as if they were trying to catch up with the main formation. From a distance the objects appeared to be spherical in shape.

Unexplainable Sighting in Lebanon Ohio

At 9:40 p.m. myself, wife and 2 guests were on the back deck at my home. We saw 4 bright WHITE lights hanging in the sky NW of our home in the distance. They were equally spaced in a horizontal formation tilted up from bottom left to top right. The lights faded in and out several times. They also circled around one another several times, before going back into a horizontal line formation. At one point they all came together in a focused point. They fanned back out into the horizontal slanted formation. Then, as though you were shutting off the lights, they disappeared one after another. The height of the lights was a ½ a story above the sight line of the closest home, approximately 200 yds. away. I’m not a UFO believer, but I can’t think of any rational explanation for what I saw. Cloud cover is extremely low at ~1000 feet. Of note, the Dayton air show IS in town and toward that direction, BUT the ended today at 5:00 p.m.

Amanda I noticed 4 bright lights in a line. They remained in a line approximately 15-30 seconds after I first noticed them. I was looking North/Northwest from the deck that is approximately 12’ off of the ground (ground is elevated from a pond). I noticed the lights begin to move and seemed to orbit around one another when I mentioned that to my friends. The lights began rotating around and additionally, starting to move in a non-linear pattern. The lights started flashing. Specifically, the farthest light from the front and/or on the right began flashing on and off. This lasted approximately 1 minute. The lights moved further west and then they began to flash on and off in sequence; each one time on and then off. At the very end, the lights flashed off, one light at a time until all the lights were off. The lights were bright and resembled a street light without the aura around it.

My name is Cheri F and I live in Lebanon, OH. I was sitting on my back deck tonight (Sat, July 18) when we noticed 4 odd lights in the distance, northwest of our house. They were the strangest things I’ve ever seen. When we first saw them, I ran inside and grabbed the camera to take video. They seemed to move in a snake-like formation. One would fade away and then reappear on the other end. I’ve been to numerous air shows and come from a history of air force veterans/pilots and these didn’t move like anything I’ve ever seen before. They kind of floated/hovered but seemed to move very fast when they did move. They didn’t twinkle or flash, they were just solid orbs of light. There definitely seemed to be a “leader” among the lights. We watched as they moved into the distance, converged into one, broke back out and then disappeared one at a time like lights switching off.

RJ S On the evening of July 18th, I was at my friend Andy’s house in Lebanon, Ohio. I was on Andy’s deck with him and his wife Cheryl and my girlfriend Amanda. Amanda noticed something in the sky and directed our attention to it. At first glance, it appeared to be airplanes. I know that the Dayton, OH air show was today, so I assumed that it was just some planes from that event. However, upon further observation it didn’t appear to be like any plane or formation I had ever seen. There were four “planes,” each having one bright white-ish light (pretty sure that most planes have lights on both wing and the tail). They traveled in an “S” formation in a North-Northwest direction, with the back “4th” plane’s light slowing dimming to “off” and then turning back on. The “planes” were traveling faster than typical planes and seemed to be flying low in the air – there have been a lot of clouds in the sky today and the planes were well below the clouds. As the planes flew away, the first plane’s light disappeared, then the lights from the second, third and finally fourth. They didn’t turn back on after this point – as if the planes just disappeared. I observed the planes for probably 2-2:30 minutes before they disappeared.

Bright, amber object in the sky with brilliant, glittering, colored lights throughout.

We were heading home, driving up a 1 mile hill about 4 miles out of town. Out of my windshield a bright object caught my eye. It was nearly overhead. I carefully pulled over because it was a steep embankment on the side of the road and there was a car on my tail. I was pretty excited because I knew it wasn’t an object we normally see in the sky at night. I told my wife, “look, a UFO!” I rolled the window down and sat on the door looking up. There was a low, fog layer, with the base about 300 feet above our head. The object was directly beneath it. It was also lighting up the fog above it. If I stick my hand out arms length, I would say it was about a nickel size in diameter. It was round and had a brilliant amber color. There were bright, LED looking lights, glittering throughout it. I couldn’t tell exactly where the lights were oriented on it, but they were brilliant. There was no sound and it was moving very, very, slowly S.E. to N.W. I watched it for about 30 seconds. At arms length it moved just a few inches in the sky. The car behind us pulled up next to our car and asked if we were OK. I said, “We are fine. We are looking at that light”. I pointed up to the object and saw that it was rising/fading into the base of the fog layer. The person in the car said, “Oh” and just took off. We watched it for just 15-30 seconds longer and the light disappeared in the clouds/fog. There was no sound from it. My wife and I are both well eduacated and have encountered several credible U.F.O.’s in the past, one in this area, one 20 miles away, and two in Eastern Oregon. We are always looking up for the next one.

white craft with red stripe streaking extremely fast in sky, with engine break grinding/whinning sound following within 2seconds

I was sitting outside at work at approx. 2am. i just happened to look to the left as i was star gazing on break. in the exact direction i looked i immediately saw a flash of light move from the west to east. if i had held a pencil up at arms length it would have just barely blocked out sighting of craft. it seemed to suddenly appear and streak to the east and dissapeared. moving extremely fast, like a flash and streak of a shooting star but it appeared to be white with a red stripe on the side about middle ways down on object. no sound. and it was gone. i looked away and about 2seconds later heard a sound iminating from sighting direction that sounded like a jet engine craft had accidently been shifted from high speed gear down to bulldog/low gear. and it reverberated like engine was totally stressed to the point of destruction. the sound pulsed lower and lower and lower as if some kind of engine break had been thrust on. it went from west to east and was at an alltitude of approx. 10,000ft. appeared to be about 10 to 15 miles south of Lebanon, ky. Marion county. This was not a conventional aircraft or meteorite. it was a really machanical engine sound. and was moving very fast possibly in excess of 2000 miles an hr. or more easily.

While driving east on New Route 50 leaving Lebanon, IL a very large, triangle shaped craft was flying very low and very slow directly over my vehicle. I could clearly see the bottom of the craft through my moon roof. The object took several seconds to move from the right side of my vehicle to the left and I could see it was black, triangular in shape and had many red lights on the bottom center of the craft. As it moved across the highway I got a clear view of the back. It had a tall, rectangular piece running perpendicular in the middle of the rear of the craft. Along this tall, rectangular object were red and white lights running up and down. The back of the craft was shaped like a long rectangle and had huge circular light on each end. Many lights were coming off the top creating an aura of bright white light. It proceeded to move across the sky very slowly and then turned west to head back towards Lebanon/Fairview Heights area. It was so large, as it moved west and I moved east I could still see its lights in the sky when I reached St. Rose road, approximately 25 miles from where the craft was flying. It was definitely not an airplane, a blimp, or anything I have every seen in our skies before.

Jan 20 2008 Seen a silver sphere in the air.

I was driving with my kids and one of there friends. It was a clear sunny day (cold), we seen a “silver” sphere like object in the air. I thought it could have been a silver balloon falling but it slowly paused then moved fairly rapidly out of site. Don’t know what it was but figured we would report it and maybe some other people saw it.

Odd lights appear over our head making impossible turns and making no sound.

We had been walking for a while now and decided to take the tracks back to our neighborhood. The railroad runs directly behind my house. We sat down to take a quick break I looked at some constellations, I began looking for Orion. We got up and lit up a cigarette and started walking along the tracks back toward our neighborhood.

We saw a bright off white light just above the street lights running alongside the tracks. We both said it was probably a street light or a star but it was too big. We kept walking and talking about the day we had only taken a few steps when we both looked up and saw it had moved so we watched it and it kept moving towards the left and up at a sharp angle. It slowed down to a stop then turned completely around 180 degrees on a perfect axis.

It started heading back right then it slowly turned towards us and began to pick up a little speed. It slowly went over our heads and to our right shoulder when we stopped and began watching it. There was not a sound no dogs were barking and the object gave no sound.

It was very low to the ground and we saw reddish white lights that blinked very slowly. This is when we saw the outline of the object it was long but thin it appeared to have a point at the tip with the brightest light on it. it flared out to either side with much smaller red lights. It had three lights (one on each side and one on the tip) and was kind of smooth looking. It gave off no noise if it was a helicopter or a plane we would have been able to hear the sound of the engines because it was so low to the ground.

We began to get very nervous and started walking very quickly trying not to trip and fall. We walked for approximately 15-20 seconds when we looked over our shoulder at it. It had moved a good ways away and we felt like we had to watch it, like something made us want to see it. We watched it go into some clouds that had just formed as it moved away from us. it had been a relatively clear day with low amounts of clouds and those clouds were very thin. It appeared to hover and it was gone. It didn’t fade away as if it was flying away it just disappeared.

No dogs barked the whole way back to my friends hous house, we took a short cut through some peoples yards and most of them have dogs either inside or outside and not one even batted an eyelash at us. When we arrived at his house his dogs didn’t even look up at us. His dogs always bark and try to attack us if anybody walks in his house even if they know who it is. Immediately when we arrived at his house we wrote down everything and drew numerous pictures of the object.

Small Orange-White "star" that moves around in circles, up, down, and sideways fast in the night sky

A few nights ago, and then again last night I noticed this thing that looks like an orange star, and it moves back and fourth, up and down, and swirls around. I just saw it again tonight. When I first saw it I thought it was a satellite, but then I realized it couldn't be because Earth made satellites don't move like that. It shows up around midnight and stays around until 4am or so. Its not out every night, but it has been out the past weekend.

I was going to film it myself, but its so blasted small I couldn't possibly find it though the lens of the camera in the night sky. This thing also fades in and out and vanishes every now and then, and then comes back a few minutes later. It shows up to the east, but closer to the middle of the sky.

I thought I was seeing things so I got my family and they also saw it and confirmed that it was actually moving around.

The area I live in is out in the middle of the woods so there is very little light contamination, and its dark enough to see.

Silent red and orange energy fireball glides just over tree tops in forested backyard outside of Lebanon, Oregon

There were 2 planes (perhaps) flying unually high & in close proximity to one another, they were both long shapes though with no lights on them and silver perhaps in color (reflective metal) that we both ( my husband and myself) were watching while standing in our backyard just after 9pm. The sky was clear without a cloud in sight,there was no wind.

The two planes veered off from each other- one headed east, the other southeast and out of our sight, just at that moment directly above our heads and very close to the ground because it appeared to be just above the treetops in our back yard was a cylinder shape that was a beautiful glowing red and orange.

My husband saw it first and said to me "do you see that?" We both stood there watching it in amazement.

It made no sound and the colors were shooting out of it, the corlors seemed to change from red to orange and then perhaps back again, like something that was was supercharged with energy or really badly glowing with fire. Because of what seemed to be sparks and colors flying out of it, I am afraid that no real shape other that a fireball can be used to describe it.

It hovered above for a moment and then travelled at the same altitude off in front of us to the north. over our pasture and we watched till it was out of sight, perhaps a minute or more as it just took its time to move on.

Then my husband said he was really glad that I had seen it with him, and I guess our story is a bit strange but it trulely happened to us on Saturday night.

Since then we are going out at night and looking for it again, it was really large and beautiful.

Hi, this last Saturday ( The 22nd) evening my husband & I were standing in our backyard at just after 9 pm. We live in a rural area of town outside of Lebanon Oregon called Lacomb. Above us in the sky appeared a very large glowing red & orange appearing round shape that hovered low, just above the treetops and stayed above us, then gently glided toward the north without veering off the course slowly . We watched it till it was out of sight. Really most beautiful and made no sound.We have been pretty mesmerized by the whole thing, called the police ( the next day) to see if anyone had reported seeing this- because we want to know what it is- alas nobody called it it. Did not see what direction it came from- just sorta was there & cant really say what exact shape but it appeared round- maybe not perfectly tho- it was on fire- no sparks, noise. Can you help us?

Aug.22, 2007 8:11PM Following is an exact transcription from my daily journal.

8:11 PM. Okay I know I’m not crazy but what I saw tonight at 8:08 PM is pretty scary if you think about it.

I was standing outside looking to the SW sky hoping to catch a glimpse of the Space Station. Time for this was supposed to be around 9:00 PM CST.

I saw this light moving in the sky and then it made a very sharp right turn and headed straight over the house.

I’d like to know if any air traffic controller at Lebanon’s airport noticed this anomaly.

Sounds astounding huh? But I swear on mom and dad’s grave that what I saw was very real.

Note: I drew in 2 dimension what this all looked like and it is still in my journal. It was of a teardrop shape with the lights (bluish in color) along the lower body panel and were all the way around it. From the point where the light was moving from my left to right was maybe a distance of around 2 miles away from me. When that light turned at the very sharp right angle it came over my home as silent as if it had no engines at all but took less than 10 seconds to reach my home. No sound at all!! The lights I did see when it went over my head were very florescent blue.

Light point and flash display for 15 min, similar to other previous witnesses in past few days.

I was walking outside around 10:30 pm and glanced at the northern sky. In the northwest, a dim steady light point was moving in an easterly direction. I assumed it was a satellite and followed the light in hopes it was an Iridium flare, a satellite that brightens quickly when it reflects sunlight. I have seen dozens of these Iridium flares over the past few years.

After traveling for a few seconds, the light gradually turned north and headed for the horizon. This struck me as very strange, because the curve was too steep for typical plane and the fact that the light had no resemblance to a plane. The light soon died out, much like satellites commonly do. I then heard a jet sound emanating from the direction of the light, but saw no jet. This could be a coincidence.

Next I saw a bright reddish flash closer to the horizon, but where the light’s trajectory should have placed it. This flash was like a sudden brightening, similar to a meteor, but slower and more controlled. I then saw two simultaneous flashes and for the next few minutes I saw two flickering lights travel in many directions, usually fading away and then reappearing in a new location, always in the northern sky. The flickers were at first somewhat rhythmic with a double flicker followed by a single, but soon became more irregular. Every so often the lights would simultaneously flash reddish.

The lights next appeared in the north-northeast and traveled westward, one slightly ahead of the other, flashing irregularly the entire time. The front light faded, but as the second light continued westward, the other appeared at the original starting location. This time it traveled eastward, and both were traveling on the same horizontal line. Finally, after a short time (appx. 1 min) of nothing, I saw the reddish double flash occur. This time the flashes were very close together (less than a degree probably) and hooked from left to down to right in a tight arc.

I’ve been an amateur astronomer for years and have never seen anything like this. I am also college-educated with a science and engineering background. Several reports of near identical situations have been reported out of Lafayette in the past few days. Perhaps this is something military related, but all I know is that I have no current explanation of what could possibly make this light display.

Two dim yellow lights moving very quickly

Saw two dim yellow-amber lights about 30 degrees above horizon. F irst saw the two lights due south and moving from west to east very quickly. Moved too quickly for helicopter or commercial craft. Thought might be two military fighters with after-burners, but for distance covered in such short time period I should have heard the engine noise. Maybe satellites, but two next to each other? Did China perform their Anti-ballistic missle defense test?
