Bright, white hot light or reflection off the sun, silent, not moving, old or circular shape.

My wife came and two grandchildren sighted the object and after watching it for awhile came in to see if I could explain what it might be. I went outside and observed a bright dot in the sky near the sun at around 11:30 am PST.

At first I thought it might be a drone, just hovering. There was very little wind, if any. Quite hazy as we are in the middle of a smoke out because of nearby forest fires. The only conclusion I could make is that it might be a highly reflective balloon. It hasn't moved in over a half an hour and that seems unusual.

White dots moving across the sky.

Looking up I saw a star moving slowly across the sky. When that star reached another they both moved off side by side in a north east direction. Before they were out of sight another one went South west to north east. I entered the house and convinced my daughter and two grand daughters to come out. We witnessed 3 more white stars go South west to north east. And two more west to east. One changed direction to the north east from the easterly direction. The clouds started to cover the area until the sky was obscured. They all were white in color and non flashing. Far too high for a conventional aircraft. The lights from aircraft are much larger and aircraft can be heard long after being seen. These stars were silent. There was no visible trail. Much dimmer than the north star but about the same size when directly overhead.

Moving lights on dark mass

It was 20:25 on March 30,2021. I was drawn to go out side for some reason. So I went to get my coat and gloves. It was a clear cool night. I took a seat on my deck to enjoy the stars for a few minutes. A bright light, larger than the biggest star in the sky, made one slow flash to the right of the sky. Then 2 minutes later, on the left side of the sky, a smaller light went from right to left and then disappeared, as if it was going around a round object. It happened several times, in the same spot without moving, over and over, round and round. I text my son to come see but he didn’t get the text until it was gone. This light show continued so I took a video of it. The rest of the night sky was bright with stars across the entire sky except in this one area, like a dark mass was covering it. Small static lights flickered over this dark area as well. And then it just stopped after 5 minutes, as if it just left. No noise, just gone. The stars came back in th! at area and I went inside.

Saw a blue /silver light fly up from the woods do a loop and split into two distinct points and shoot in different directions

Laying in bed I saw through my window a strange blue white light almost silver shoot up from the trees over upper mill pond . I saw it do a loop and the split into two distinct points of light which flew off in separate directions. I grew up on Otis Air Force base I have seen flares and jets and planes and helicopters all manner of flying craft. Never seen anything like this. Besides the loop which I cannot explain it almost looked like a meteor when it split, except shooting upwards instead of downwards. It was in the sky so long I yelled “ holy sh*t holy sh*t hooooooly SH*T?! What is that!!” It looped and split and flew off out of view And i ran outside hoping to see more. But sadly that’s all I saw

Driving home from work on a beautiful afternoon not a cloud in the sky look up for no reason and there the object is it was like a bright stainless steel gleaming off the sun it was very large and just hovering I lost sight because of trees then it was gone! 11:30 pm 2 dim orange triangular/orb.

First hovering north west Cape Cod Bay. Moving away from each other in consistent high speed. Hovering.

Next, light shines bright from both of them as third orb appeared and the original two switched places with each other.

Third orb hovering very high above started a light pattern at each point of triangle. Red, blue, and orange.

Then original 2 craft started to flash the same light frequency and pattern. They all shined a bright orange in unison heavily illuminating the surrounding clouds before moving in sync out of sight to the north east.

This is the 3rd time I have witnessed this occurrence in past two weeks.

I am a imsomniac, and had gotten up to let our dog out at about 2am in waiting for her to come back to the door i was watching out the side window of the door and observed something about 200 feet away coming on my right crossing our hay field it was dark and snowing hard but have a yard light to illuminate the shop area At first it just didnt register in my head i shook my head thinking and blinked several times thinking i i was seeing things it continued coming from my right, i stared intently trying to make the details out as it passed from right to left about 20 feet abouve the ground and about 50 feet in front of me It was a very definite wedge shape , colored charcoal black with some browns like it was made to blend into the darkness. It made no noise or had any lights and vanished as it vanished as it passed my door My dog actually growled at it as it passed by I swear to you this was not a figment of my imagination and is not a lie i was not seeing things and it could not be anything other than what i saw i have never seen any other UFO in my 58 years of life

Two possible crafts sighted from Greenland Pond, Brewster Ma

Two crafts (?) One brighter and larger than the other, the brighter one was pulsing blue, red, white and the other was dimmer with a yellow and orange color.

They both would move very slightly in all directions and at times leave a little bit of trail behind them. Neither of them made any drastic changes in direction.

I made sure to look at other starts in order to verify if they all were doing this and I was just looking at a couple of stars.

No other stars I saw were pulsating or moving.

I finally gave up watching as it was 31 degrees out.

My sister has told me she has seen objects like this on many occasions over Greenland Pond.

Greenish-Blue Fireball half the speed of a shooting star and clearly falling through the atmosphere.

Traveling on a road with a friend of mine at between 5:15pm and 5:25pm in Brewster NY. Waiting at a red light, we caught at a glimpse, a greenish blue fireball heading towards the earth. It came rushing down into our view and disappeared quickly.

At first I thought it was a shooting star, but it was to big, bright and obviously in our atmosphere. It was dark outside, but the sun had set within the hour.

Saw what appeared to be a fireball in the sky to our west above the Brewster flats.

I figured it was an airplane and awaited it to fly over head as it was coming closer to us. But then it suddenly reversed direction and moved away from us heading westerly About five minutes later it happened again. Moved towards us and then away. It did not appear to be an air plane because of the reversal of direction and the. Rightness and color of the light. It was very orange and lacked that blinking typically seen with plans or helicopters.

Strange craft emitting large beams spotted in Brewster MA.

We were driving down 137 and we saw a bright white light flashing through the sky from what seemed to be a car hovering for about 20 sec. but as we got closer we saw a hexagonal shaped craft. It had tiny wings on the side and two red lights and two green lights, plus the head lights. It must have been 250 - 300 ft. in the air and about 75-100 ft. in length.

We panicked and ((name deleted)) slammed on the brakes and pulled into snow rd. we drove about 1/10 of a mile and got out of the car. The craft was hovering over a neighborhood.

About 3 sec. after we got out of the car, the UFO slowly picked up speed and flew over Feretties market and disappeared out of sight. We then drove to the end of snow rd. and turned around and tried to find it to follow it but it was gone.

We drove home Immediately and told my parents.

Bright flashing oval shaped light hovering in Brewster, Cape Cod, MA. Changing colors Also red lights around it.

Around 9: 30 PM I was walking my dog were I live in West Brewster. It is a completely dark street (no street lamps). I was looking towards the left and hovering over the tree line I saw a very bright light which seemed to be flashing and changing colors: white, red, blue and green. I figured it was a plane getting ready to land at the Chatham Municipal Airport which is roughly 9 miles away.

When it continued to hover above the tree line I stopped and watched it for about 15 minutes: it did not move, and kept flashing different colors. I went back to my house to get my camera and it had moved to the north and much higher up. It was also still stationary. I also observed a number of other aircraft in the vicinity of the light (which I am guessing were planes from Logan Airport in Boston?

I watched for an additional 15 minutes and the light (continuing to flash colors) again seemed to be stationary: hovering. I also noticed this time that there appeared to be more of the same lights hovering in an angled formation very close to the bright flashing light which were red. I do not have a camera that can take night pictures or great distances so I could not photograph it.

Awhile later (around 10:30 pm) I went outside and looked for the lights but they were gone.

I was driving home from NY to CT it was about 6:30 PM. The night was dark & clear, lots of stars/ crescent moon. I was on Rt 684 moving to the point where 684 ends & becomes RT 22.

I am not positive at what point I first noticed the light, but I saw an extremely bright, low light in the sky. At first my mind processed it as a star, but it was huge, low (seemed just above the treetops) & too bright for a star. The light hovered; there was a smaller less bright light above & to the right of it. I realized these were not stars and kept looking. I slowed down. There were other vehicles on the road, but only a few, I was surprised they did not slow down to look. The incident was fleeting. Basically, there was this huge bright light (and a lesser ,but too large for a star light above it) , it seemed like hole was punched in the sky. Within it (both) there appeared a string of blue lights like the outline of a circular shape, but only the blue lights were visible. These lights did not move at first, the entire scene hovered. Then, suddenly, quickly, the blue lights in the large light spun diagonally and dropped vertically, then "sucked" into the light and the entire image closed. The smaller light with blue lights within did the same within a second. There was no sound I was aware of.

Very Large Red Flash Object lasting 2 seconds

I was driving north on Highway 97 at Brewster, Washington when I observed a very large red flash in the sky which lasted about 2 seconds.

The observation was spectacular as the object exploded into a purplish red bright flash with bright yellow tail glow. The object started from the south-southeast heading going to north-nothwest.

I called 911, at Okanogan, and reported it about 1 minute after my observation as I thought it noteworthy. I have never seen anything at night from personal observation as spectacular.

soldiers observe large unidentified craft as fighters give chase

we were on a observation mission south of Bahgdad watching a project building and a rotory. Our platoon was adjacent to a railroad track in a fairly large feild in a 360 degree defensive-observation formation. The night was fairly quiet only a few explosions in the distance and infrequent gun fire.

As the mission was drawing to a close on of our soldiers broke his observation position and profiles himself atop the tracks. I go to his side to see what he is doing and to tell him to get back down. As Im standing next to him he points to the horizon. We wittness a large cigar shaped object almost at a stand still moving along the tree line approx 3/4 miles away. There were no lights on the craft and it was only visible through night vision. Many members of my platoon were wittness to the craft and the others were very aware of its presance.Before the object was observed the radios in our humvees lost frequancy hop and went all static. As we were watching the object three fighters came off station and flew directly to the area in a extremly high rate of speed as on a troops in trouble call. When the jets gave chase the object dissapeared.

My girlfriend and I had been driving North on 684. We drove past he westchester airport when I saw a flying object. I figured it was just a plane,when I looked closer it had a flat (matte) black finish and was flat,triangular shaped with a bright light at each corner. It was daylight on approxiamately 8/19/96 I just had graduated high school in June and i was living at home with my parents i was not working at the time and am a musician i love science and art and we live on a farm i love animals too we have farm animals on our farmi am of sound mind i have better and worse days but this day i woke up i was very caught off guard. I was awake .Ilooked out my window and there was a bright light like a yellow fireball so i went outside to videotape it . by the time i went out side the yellow glow went away and all there was left was a silver disc i captured on video .The disc looks like the shape of a shiny metallic tuna can it appears to be flat on the top and on the bottom and it also appears to be round like a can but it hovered above the treeline for about 45 minutes untill the sun came up and ithe image went out of range. The object looked like a metallic can like disk that had no opening it just i was startled at first and i could not believe my eyes but i was tired from not sleeping much the night before. others have seen the tape i showed it to them and they only saw and heard of my experience after i videoed it and they dont know what it could be ..so its a unidentified flying object that i videoed in my back yard i thank you for your time

When I was five years old, I saw something unusual in the sky from my bedroom window. It was a big horizontal light that was red, yellow, and green in a row, and was unusual and was hovering in one spot. It was not an airplane, My classmate from my kindergarten class, his dad saw something similar and he got video footage of it and he was on the TV show Unsolved Mysteries. This was in Brewster, NY in Putnam County New York, circa 1989. It strongly resembled what is currently being seen over New Jersey in December 2024. When I saw the current footage on the news, it reminded me very much of what I was when I was younger.

I was in high school and driving home from visiting a friend. This was the normal route we took and it’s about 2 miles from our parents house. I was in the vehicle with my brother. As we drove along the edge of the reservoir where the water cascades down I noticed something massive In the sky just two or three tree heights in the air. I screamed out loud to my brother, “pull over, pull over!” I remember that we stopped the car and actually crossed the road we were heading north at the time and we cross the road to a grassy area on the east side of the road adjacent to the reservoir spillway. To this day I can remember the feeling in my chest of anxiety and anticipation and excitement that something bizarre was happening and I jumped out of the car and I can remember my brother getting a little nervous as he screamed “what the hell are you doing?“

I looked up and there it was this massive dark form against the night sky blocking out any stars so it came right over us and it seemed as though we could reach up and touch it. If you asked me what its shape was it was too close to us that I did not see it at a distance initially I sought just from below and it seem to have girders and sheep to this massive battleship sized “ship.“. It was eerie because there was no significant sound. I remember it having a low humming sound very low and not too loud but my brother remembers it as totally silent. When I say battleship it’s because I had spent time at the time in my life in Boy Scouts visiting the battleship Massachusetts in fall river. So I had some sense of the scale and this thing was gigantic. Essentially it was impossible what I was looking at it was something that couldn’t exist a battleship sized object floating quietly above our heads just seemingly above the tree line. It was traveling in the same direction we were so when we jumped out it was just coming over us from south to north and as we stood there at the edge of the reservoir it started to turn and head west in a northwesterly direction, somewhat toward the village of Brewster. I do remember it having some kind of glowing lights on it but that was not a memorable aspect they were too blurry or something. And that seems to be the primary characteristic that I remember is that the shape of the object and the lights were blurry and when you looked directly at them you couldn’t make out the particular shape even though there was angular form in this dark mass as if it was a metal structure of some kind and it did have lights. Then only five minutes after standing there the thing was already halfway across the reservoir and turned more sharply to the west and just headed in that direction sort of toward Carmel New York.

My brother and I rushed home and promptly told our parents what we had witnessed and it didn’t even disrupt their television watching for the evening. I remember feeling a strange sense of dreaminess about this event when we told friends and other people and at the time we knew no one and found no one who had shared the experience. As the years of passed thanks to YouTube I have discovered the Hudson Valley UFOs. This includes a piece from unsolved mysteries television show which refers to Dennis Sant, A local public officials who I remember as a child was in my father‘s circles. Here’s a count of the ship including some of the re-creations on the show really woke me up to the realization that I had not dreamt of this experience. Because you do question after all the years whether it actually happened when there is no feedback mechanism as there is today with social media. I have since searched the Internet and YouTube extensively and watched many videos that people uploaded. They are harder to fine today but around 10 years ago there were easier to find and more plentiful on YouTube and many a persons VHS tapes were shared and I definitely felt that that was the object that we had experienced even though there was some differences in the lights and the actual shape.

Astoundingly wide Chevron or "flying V" with 7-9 piercing white lights that fade to red as it goes behind trees. Moves slow & quiet.

I realize this is almost twenty years later, but I was not aware of this database till now. I was driving home from a friends house in Patterson NY, and by the time I was coming down route 22 in to Brewster, I saw what looked like a long line of white "Christmas lights" in the sky, which took on more of an enormous "V" shape as I got closer to, and more underneath it. I pulled in to a supermarket parking lot to view it better, and to my amazement it was moving or "drifting" at maybe 1000 feet off the ground, with an amazing span that nearly crossed the sky North to South. It was moving (drifting) West to East, and made almost no sound. It was moving much slower than any conventional aircraft, and seemed to "fade off" behind the treeline at a certain point, at which the lights that had been small and piercing white became orange, then red as it got behind the trees. The altitude may have been less than I first thought on account of how quickly it became obscured in the trees at such a slow speed...almost "setting" into the forest line. I jumped in the car and followed it for a few miles to a resevoir where it eventually faded off behing the surrounding hills. I had nobody with me at the time, but in the parking lot I was going to point it out to others who were there, only to notice them already standing around and pointing to it. I didn't talk to them, as I thought it would be more interesting to "chase" it. Months later, I saw a similar phenomenon near Lake Peekskill, NY while driving, but it was further away. The second one had two small airplanes chasing after it. This one, too disappeared (floated) behind trees and hills. There was an article in the local paper around that time explaining that many had seen it; and they left a phone number for reports. I left a report on their machine, and did not hear back from anyone. My friends still laugh about it, although it intrigues them at the same rate.

ME,MY HUSBAND AND FRIENDS WITNESSED AN OVAL FORMATION OF SIX(6)SMALL WHITE LIGHTS WITH ONE LARGER RED ONE BEHIND IT (AS IF GUIDING IT)FLOATING SILENTLY TOWARD US AND THEN HOVERED OVER US FOR AT LEAT THIRTY (30) MINUTES. THEN THE WHITE LIGHTS TURNED RED AND SHOT ALL OVER THE SKY SO FAST THAT YOU COULD BARELY FOCUS ON THEM AND STILL NO NOISE. THEN THEY WERE GONE. ONE RE-APPEARED, TURNED BACK TO WHITE, GREW IN SIZE THEN SHRUNK BACK DOWN AND DISAPPEARED AGAIN. NOT ONE SOUND WAS HEARD, AND WE WERE UPSTATE, NEW YORK IN A WOODED AREA NEAR A RESEVOIR. YEARS LATER IT WAS SHOWN ON HBO AND UNSOLVED MYSTERIES. THANK GOD, I THOUGHT WE WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO SAW IT, BUT NOW WE FEEL CONFIDENT SINCE EVEN THE POLICE CLAIM TO HAVE SEEN IT. THERE IS A PICTURE OF IT IN A BOOK CALLED "NIGHT SIEGE" (THE HUDSON VALLEY SIGHTINGS) AND STORIES FROM PEOPLE TELLING THE SAME STORY I JUST TOLD. I WILL NEVER FORGET IT FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE AND WILL NEVER LAUGH AT ANYONE'S CLAIMED EXPERIENCES.

THIS THING HAD TO BE THE SIZE OF 3 FOOTBALL FIELDS - MADE NO NOISE - FLOATED VERY SLOWLY - HOVERED SILENTLY FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR - SIX(6) WHITE LIGHTS IN OVAL TO CIRCULAR FORMATION - ONE LARGER RED LIGHT - ALL WHITE LIGHTS EVENTUALLY TURNED RED, SHOT ALL OVER THE SKY AND THEN DIAPPEARED (WITH NO NOISE). AT THAT TIME ('84) I WAS 19, MY HUSBAND 23, FRIENDS RANGED FROM 20-23 YEARS OF AGE. WE ARE WELL INTO OUR 30'S NOW WITH JOBS RANGING FROM SHEETMETAL FABRICATOR TO STAY AT HOME MOM (ME) TO IBM EMPLOYEE TO NYS TAX AUDITOR TO ATTORNEY...

Sometime during an August sunday afternoon, I spotted an object at the intersection of Rt. 684 and I84 at Brewster, NY. This occurred in (I believe in 1975). I should add that the sky was perfectly clear. The object in question was in a stationary position above a stand of pine trees at the intersection of the two main traffic arteries. It appeared to be approximately 40-50 yards above the tops of the pines. As I noticed something in the air in close proximity , I thought to myself, "That's just an airplane - Danbury Airport is just up the road". Turning towards my right (into the curve) I looked up again at the object with a deliberate intent of identifying the aircraft (I have always been fascinated by aircraft - and simply wanted to look at what I thought would be some variant of a Piper Cub). When I actually saw the craft, what I saw resembled a hovering 40-gallon oil drum -but I estimated it to be "about the size of a contemporary Caldillac sedan". It had a series of three rings of blinking lights - the top revolving in one direction - the middle revolving in the opposite direction - the bottom going in the same direction as the top ring. I tried to maintain a "back-to-the-road-back-to-the-thing" visual contact - but at my last gaze - it simply vanished. You may think this is flight of fancy or mistaken identity, yet the next day, the sighting was FRONT PAGE news on the DANBURY NEWS TIMES newspaper. The article quoted a Danbury police officer who ran home after his shift an retrieved his video recoreder shortly after dusk in an effort to videotape the movements of the object. This officer was an aquaintance of mine (since he had married a college acquaintance of mine) - his name is indelibly etched in my memory. I saw the video not long after the incident, and it simply showed a very shaky image of a "spot" of light. It seemed much as if you tried to take a video of Sirius with a rather shaky hand. Yet the fact remains that the sighting was confirmed by a credited news organization and a police officer. Anyone can scan the (well the way they did it then) microfisches of the NEWS-TIMES for 9/75 and find the reference, unless the material has been supressed. I had for years, kept a copy of the paper , but as time has gone by cannot find it at hand. I do know one thing is certain - that what I saw that day was NOT OF THIS EARTH
