Flat square, white one side and dark metallic grey on other, tumbling and flapping through the air near a turkey vulture, similar size

I was driving home from work, on I-90 exit 25, on the bridge going over 90. I looked up ahead and saw a turkey vulture and a flat, square object with white on one side and dark metallic grey on the other flying next to it. The square object was flapping and tumbling through the air, almost trying to imitate the turkey vulture, but it was very obviously a flat square and not a bird. There was no wind, and it was very high up. The object never changed dimensions but was flexible and mobile, appearing to stay a float without wings or wind. It almost looked like a large piece of square paper and was flexible in the same way. I wanted to observe longer but it was rush hour, lots of traffic, unable to pull off to the side. I could not see it in my rearview mirror but the direction I was driving also changed.

I am sure other drivers must have noticed it as well, but I cannot confirm anyone in particular other than myself. I am a Physician Assistant for background and am of sound mind. I was unable to get a picture or a video as I was driving. The pictures I have attached are me trying to recreate what I saw. The post-it note has lines on one side and blank on the other, like the object was white on one side with dark grey metallic color on other, and at times could just see one side of it vs when bent and flapping form.

Second time in a year! Waited till i saw again just to be sure I wasnt losing my mind

This time, was close. So close. I noticed a v shaped set of lights descending really close to us, so I asked my daughter what it was. She had already spotted it too and was speechless. When it was right above us just about we realized it was a v shaped craft with spotlight looking lights lining the base. It wasn't hovering but it almost looked like it was flying at a huge tilt. No blinking lights like normal aircraft. Had also seen another one in the same spot A year prior but it was at a distance, daylight and was def triangle in shape and the sun hitting it you could tell it was silver refelective

While having a smoking out of a window, a strange circle with big windows started moving sporadically at great speeds. I took a photo.

I was smoking a cigarette out of my window in the night of May 19th 2023. This was routine for me at the time, and I had been watching the sky as I had always done, when all of a sudden a light that didn’t look like it belonged to a plane or helicopter came into my view. Immediately I was confused as this circular object was moving very fast, faster than any plane or helicopter i’ve ever seen. Another sign that this wasn’t a plane or helicopter was the way this thing was flying. It moved very swift and sporadically, not flying in a straight trajectory. It was moving almost like it was looking around. I could not hear any sound from it. I’m not sure of the compass direction it came from, but it came from straight in front of my window and flew to what would’ve been northeast if I was facing north. I had just enough time to get a picture before it was out of my view. In my attached photos, you can see a bright white light orb. THIS IS NOT WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. This is a street lamp, with trees surrounding it. If you take this into consideration you can kind of tell how large and far away this thing was. I have attached several pictures. The picture labeled “1” is the raw, original picture, as well as the iphone information that is given when u take a picture, to show it’s authenticity. The rest are copies that are edited in order to try and enhance the image. What it looks like to me is big round apparatus with 2 large yellow openings that are visible on either side. In the enhance pictures you can see dark lines around the yellow, making them look like windows. The part that’s the most chilling to me is what you can see in the middle of the biggest visible window. It appears to be someone or something in the middle of the window. I have ran through every logical explanation to what this is and cannot come up with something solid enough to convince myself. I want to know what I saw.

Massive 6 bright white lights in a line, slightly arched, then changed into reddish orange light ball and disappeared.

I was driving to get something to eat @ 10:15pm. When I was about to turn the corner in the opposite direction, I saw out the corner of my eye, what I thought would have been the moon-I saw 6 distinct bright white lights in a line, slightly arched...stretching from the South to the North miles across one part of the sky wayyyyy to the other side. A dark shadow also could be seen behind the lights.

They were moving West. I started to follow them in my car. My radio was staticy. Then within 30 secs of following-they changed into 1 reddish orange light. The white lights never moved or changed positions or faded out. It was just all these white lights, then the reddish orange and then it was gone. No sound, no streak of light. A little flicker from red to orange. It was just there so massive and then gone. The cell phone battery was no where near dead, but as soon as the camera opened the phone died.

I took astronomy in high school and have been an amateur star gazer ever since. I am an avid watcher of science programs about the universe and stars and all things pertaining to the study and science of space and the bodies in it. I also live close to two airports that have both civilian and military aircraft both fixed wing and helicopters.

What I saw was a flashing blue light traveling at a very high rate of speed. It appeared oval in shape. There were no other lights other than blue. It traveled from the North West to the South East. I observed it for approximately 10 seconds before it was out of sight

UFO sighted in Schenectady County 02/28/2014.

My boyfriend and I we're driving home when I looked West and noticed 5 vapor trails coming from Jets in different directions. We both thought it looked really cool but knew that the air had been cold making the vapor more visible.

Suddenly I noticed an object triangular, and then round (seemed to change) and come in and out of the trails, it was darting back and forth through the vapor, it was silver with a red light on the bottom, but then would change to very dark gray or black.

It was moving so quickly that we knew it couldn't be a Plane and the fact that the shape and color seemed to change was very odd.

We also noticed that at times it would just hover for a moment like it was waiting for something?

We tried to follow it as long as we could but we're driving north west on a highway and had to intersect so we lost it.

It amazed both of us and I have not stopped thinking about it since.

Have there been any other sightings in our area such as this?

No sooner then my mind could make any sense of this, a huge greenish flash illuminated the wooded area around me. I looked up at what appeared to be a greenish ball of light that appeared to fall downward. Everything from a plane to a helicopter crashing ran through my mind, and I anticipated a boom after this bright flash of light, but there was no boom.

I sped onward toward my job which was right down the road. My instinct was to just get away from whatever this was. The event left me shaking.

Extremely Bright Ball of light streaming downward from sky behind tree tops and to the horizon around midnight in upstate NY.

At approximately midnight last night (January 21, 2013), I was in bed watching television when in the window just to my left, a very bright light immediately drew my attention to focus on the window. The light came from the sky above traveling sort of straight down in path not unlike large bright fireworks coming down out of the sky downward. The color was mostly bright white and I think I detected just a hint of yellow and maybe some blue - again it looked almost like a bright ball or stream of light heading downward behind the treetops and into the horizon. I awaited a boom or was expecting to feel the impact it was so bright. It was kind of unnerving thinking it was a missle or somthing. But nothing, just silence. No vibration from impact. So I assumened it must have been very far away. The direction for my viewing point would have been roughly facing South East. The path of the bright ball or stream of light took about 2 to 3 seconds to travel from sky to horizon and out of site behind the trees as viewed through my bedroom window. Again it was so bright that I thought is was fireworks landing in the woods 50 yards behind my house. I got up, startling my wife, and stared out at that part of the sky and woods for 10 minutes or so, but not a trace of any other type of activity accept twinkling stars. That's it. I searched the internet today and did find where a number of other sightings in upstate NY and PA were very very much like mine at the same time of night. It was relieving to see others had seen what I had seen apparently. Thank you for having this forum for describing such experiences.

Leaving for work(night shift)saw light orange colored objects at about the altitude of a small aircraft. They were traveling south to north right over my residence as what seemed like individual fireballs moving at about the speed of an aircraft would. My home is in a flight path so I see small planes flying almost every night leaving at same time. But these were spaced about 20 seconds apart. There's a street light in front of my house so I went to the rear of house to get a better view,also asking my wife and son to observe what I saw. These objects made no sound. i mentioned this to a co-worker and he stated that there is an annual hot air balloon show but that doesn't start until Sept.20.Also didn't think Hot air balloons would travel at night if not necessary. it was my 40th birthday ,three of us went out to smoke a cig, looked up and saw this bright amber to red sphere silently moving above the roof tops i ran to get my camera from the truck, my sis started to film w/cell phone i took stills ,it stopped and hovered then like some one hit a switch poof gone!20 minutes later talking to a neighbor saw another one tracking from the lower farthest leg of big dipper to the lowest closer one then it was gone from the sky ,my girlfriend said she saw a triangular bat shape behind the light,my sis and i were looking through our cameras or phone to get proof,two nights later my lil sis called me around the same time of night and said it was back and again a plane was trying to pursue it the 1st night there was a plane far away heading towards it,it looked smaller than what we saw on film, and my sis's film showed blinking in a rectangle that we did not see, at the time,other people saw it!

comet. no trail and it had a light airplane. only if we have created a plane that flies that fast satellite. see them all of the time it it was not one space station. we watch this fly by and I have ruled it out due to lights When the space station flies by you see it fade as it passes by. This went by at an altitude that was lower than a commercial plane and it covered the visible sky in a matter of two seconds

Circle of Light Seen In Morning Sky

On October 3, 2008 at approximately 8:13 am I was driving southeast on Lishakill Road in Colonie, New York when I looked up very high in the morning sky to see a bright light in between trees. It was moving at a quick rate of speed and I only saw it for approximately one minute because the trees were in the way. At first I thought it was a search light, but then I thought I saw what appeared to be fire on one side of the circle. It was a very cloudy morning and I do not believe it was the sun. I noticed in my rear view mirror the car behind me was driving in the middle of the road and down the road on the left was a Colonie police officer blocking a side street. When I arrived at work at approximately 8:25 am I told my coworkers of the experience. Less than 40 minutes later my coworkers and I saw a fighter jet took off from Albany International and it circled around and headed in the direction where I had the sighting. The article in today's Times Union newspaper (October 4, 2008) states that a Hornet fighter jet did take off from Albany International and circled around RPI in Troy, New York.

On Saturday, August 2nd, at approximately 9:53 PM I saw what appeared to be a VERY bright light moving across the sky. It was a bright, white light that was moving in a east/southeast direction. About 2/3rds of the way across the sky, it STOPPED, did what I would describe as a "reverse S ", then it stopped again. It remained in one spot for about 15 seconds, becoming dimmer and dimmer. When it was almost totally dim... It "winked" in a southerly direction. When I say "winked", it looked like a tiny streak for a split second.Total elapsed time was about 30 seconds.

I saw a glowing thing hovering over the ground this morning.

I woke this morning at two o'clock and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to watch some T.V. As turned on the T.V. I heard a strange sound coming from out side my house. I went outside and saw a strange thing glowing outside my house. It was hovering just above the ground and was changing shape very fast. Then sundenly it stopped and landed. There was a bright light and I woke up five hours later.

Cloud dwelling lights in the sky

My father was the first to notice them, he called me out to my front lawn. In the sky were to different lights moving around in the sky. The odd things were that they only appeared in the clouds, not in the sky, and they changed direction. After about twenty minutes another one joined them. My mother and two brothers came out to see them. All three were spining in an oval, and would disapear once they left from the clouds into the sky, then they would reapear once they entered there part of orbit that was in the sky. About twenty minutes later a fourth one joined them. Thats when there orbit changed. It spined counterclockwise in a circle, and after completing a few rotations the lights would cross and end up on then continue spinning. Then as the clouds floated away, we lost visual of them. I called the airport to see if they new anything about it, and they didn't. I took a picture of them when there were four, I could only see two of them in the picture, then I enhanced it, and I counted seventeen. This whole occurance lasted about an hour

Line of equally spaced ornage lights moving at an incredible speed, over Schenectady, New York

My girlfriend and I were sitiing out in the backyard from about 10:15pm onwards, looking at the stars and what I still presume were the moving lights of sattelites up very high. At around 11pm I was talking to her and looking up at the sky when I noticed an orange "blur" racing across the sky. As I fixed my eyes on it, I saw 5 dull orange lights, all spaced the same distance apart, in a line, moving across the sky at an INCREDIBLE speed. I yelled out to my girlfriend, who also managed to see them (describing them to me afterwards). They were all the way across the sky in a matter of seconds. In comparison to planes we hade watched heading over to and from Albany International, these lights seemed to be not too high up.There was no sound. The speed was incredible. If you did not happen to fix your eyes on them, I'm sure you would not even notice them.I ESTIMATE the direction was east, following the line of Route 7 and other roads that head over to the Latham (North of Albany) area.

Bright green-white light flying soundlessly overhead

I'm an 8-year veteran police officer. While leaving for work on a crisp, cold, clear, starlight morning I stopped before entering my jeep. Above, against a starlight night, I saw a green-white orb traveling southeast through the sky. It was twice as bright as the North Star, soundless, and traveling half as fast as a shooting star--much faster than any plane I've ever seen. There were no other navagation or strobe lights on it. I was alone and thought it odd. I felt no strange paralysis or anything like that; I just watched it fluedly traverse the sky in one straight, quick, silent slash then I went to work. I only saw this one object. It seemed far away, high in the sky, much too bright to be a star, and much too fast to be a plane. I'm a well educated person and a realist. I don't know if there are any spooky grey beings out there or what our government is testing. But I know I witnessed something I've never seen before and I thought you should know about it.

I had just picked up my Daugther (2yrs old) from my Mother-in-Laws and was on my way home it was a clear cold crisp day with the leaves on the ground, on my way home on rt 158 (Guilderland Ave) going over a bridge I spotted to my left 3 air crafts, one was a Military plane and the two others were sliver in color and Dome shaped not looking all that big, if I have to make an educated guess as to how big the two ships were I would say 12'-14'max. All three banked around and the two domes were in front of the Airplane when the two took separate directions, upwards in a V to what appeared to be out of the Airplanes way. When we reach our house I called the Albany Airport and spoke to the Air Control tower and explained to him what I just witnessed, he did advise me that there were 2 blimps on radar that he could not explain and the offer me Peter's Davenports number which I called and to my amazement Peter Davenport was in Albany that AM>....?? Weird....I Sent Peter A hand drawing of my sighting and that night the local New Station was interviewing me for the 6;00 news.... I do believe that we are not alone. I guess someday we will all be on the same page, but for now only a few at a time. One last memory of this, it was as if I were looking through a vertal blind and someone was rasing and lowering it very quickly. like the old Vaudeville movies in black and white.

At dusk the craft lingered over land, close to the Knolls Atomic Power Lab, Schenectady, NY town of Niskayuna

The craft, large and close to witnesses "hung" in the sky. There was no movement. Those traveling on near by road pulled over to join others and no one spoke. All they did was stare into the dusk night sky and stare at this large craft with various colors, lights, flashing. The strange thing about this, no one reported it to the press, news, etc., and even though those who stood near their cars were in some sort of trance, those in the family, still do not speak about it. When something comes up, they ignore the entire situation. They do admit it happened, and once ran into the living area when a craft resembling the one hanging in the sky, still and quiet was shown on TV. So, a family sees this craft and others, and no one reports on the situation.

MASSIVE UFO OVER MAIN GENERAL ELECTRIC PLANT IN UPSTATE NY IN 1973.

I AM REPORTING A CASE THAT HAS BAFFLED ME FOR YEARS.I WAS THERE BUT THIS IS MY MOTHERS ACCOUNT AS I WAS TO YOUNG.---THE ENTIRE MAIN HIGHWAY IN FRONT MAIN GENERAL ELECTRIC BUILDING CAME TO A HALT.A MASSIVE CIRCULER UFO WAS HOVERING OVER THE PLANT.IT CAUSED G.E TO LOSE POWER AS ALL THE LIGHTS DIMMED AND WENT OUT.--TO THE BEST OF KNOWLEDGE THERE IS NO SUCH REPORT ON T.V OR NEWSPAPERS AT THE TIME.--AND CAN FIND NO MENTION IN UFO DATABASES.HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS ?????

AS TO EXACT DATE -LATE FALL,EARLY WINTER;SHE WAS PREGNANT AT THE TIME FOR SURE.---SHE WAS GOING TO MOHAWK MALL IN SCENECTADY FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING.HER SISTER WAS WITH HER AS I WAS BUT I WAS 3 AT THE TIME.SISTER GIVES THE SAME ACCOUNT OF WHAT HAPPENED.AS I TALKED WITH BOTH OF THEM I MADE AN ERROR IN ACCOUNT I FIRST SENT.THERE WAS PRESS COVERAGE,RADIO AND TELEVISION AND REPORT FROM TV SAID IT WAS FROM THE AIR FORCE NEAR BY-NOT A UFO.--RUBBISH.--HERE IS A BETTER ACCOUNT OF WHAT HAPPENED IN 1973,SCHENECTADY,NY;LATE FALL EARLY WINTER.I WAS ABLE TO SIT DOWN WITH MY MOM AND THIS IS WHAT SHE REMEMBERS;HER SISTERS ACCOUNT IS IDENTICAL===IN LATE FALL OR EARLY WINTER MY MOTHER AND AUNT LEFT HOME IN AMSTERDAM NEW YORK AND WERE GOING TO SCHENECTADY NEW YORK.THEY WERE GOING CHRISTMAS
SHOPPING AT MOHAWK MALL.AS THEY APPROACHED SCHENECTADY THEY BOTH SAW A LARGE OBJECT LOW ALTITUDE COMING FROM WEST.AS THEY NEARED THE GENERAL ELECTRIC PLANT,THE LARGE OBJECT WAS DISPLAYING MULTI COLORED LIGHTS AND
SEEMED TO "DROP" AT HIGH SPEED.IT WAS HOVERING DIRECTLY OVER GENERAL ELECTRIC OFFICE BUILDING.( ASKED MOM "HOW COULD U SEE IT IN THE DISTANCE-WHAT MADE IT STAND OUT"-REPLY-"IT WAS HUGH AND A SOFT YELLOW LIGHT COMING FROM BOTTOM.YOU COULD SEE PINK AND BLUE LIGHTS THE CLOSER IT GOT")--TRAFFIC CAME TO A STANDSTILL ON HIGHWAY THAT RUNS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF G.E.PLANT.MOM
AND AUNT,AS THEY WERE GETTING OUT OF CAR AS WAS EVERYONE ELSE NOTICED THE POWER OUTAGE FOR THAT ENTIRE AREA.EVERYTHING WAS DARK.(SAW OTHER LIGHTS ON FAR AWAY) IT WAS HUGH-MAYBE AS SHE RECOLLECTS -AS LARGE AS 2-3 FOOTBALL FEILDS IN DIAMETER.THERE WERE ROTATING LIGHTS ON BOTTOM OF OBJECT ALTERNATING BLUE-PINK-YELLOW.THE TOP WAS A DULL GREY-THE ENTIRE OBJECT LOOKED LIKE A SAUCER.SHE IS NOT SURE HOW CLOSE SHE WAS TO OBJECT-WHAT EVER THE DISTANCE FROM HIGHWAY TO G.E.BUILDING(I THINK 200-300 FEET AS I REMEMBER
IT)THEY HEARD NO SOUND FROM OBJECT IT DID NOT AFFECT CARS,AND AFTER 5 MINUTES OR SO IT BEGAN TO RISE STRAIGHT UP.THE ROTATING LIGHTS TURNED SOFT YELLOW AND IT HEADED WEST AT LOW ALTITUDE FROM SCHENECTADY.POWERE RETURNED AND EVERY ONE AROUND FELT THE SAME WAY "DID THIS JUST HAPPEN,WAS IT REAL"--AGAIN,THERE WAS NEWS COVERAGE-PEOPLE WERE CALLING INTO RADIO STATIONS ASKING WHAT THAT WAS.TV NEWS SEEMED SATISFIED WITH LOCAL MILITARY BASE EXPLANATION AS SOMETHIG "FROM THERE".---ALL INFORMATION AS TOLD TO ME BY MOM AND AUNT IS CONTAINED THERE IN.I AM SURE THERE ARE DETAILS THAT MAY OCCUR TO U.FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL AT ((e-address deleted))--in my own opinion this seems
like a very important sighting.i have been told there r parts of general elctric plant that deals with govt

I have a year of missing time,care to help me find it?.

I am crying tears are dropping heavily. I don't know if I can do this. I am very,very worried what will happen if anyone ever believes me. I have stayed hidden under the radar in plain sight. Meaning I am labeled a crazy,so no one takes me seriously. Facts, though,speak volumes. I have a year of missing time from 5-60 until 4-61. I have no second grade,no memory,except I went to sleep when I was just 7 and I'm already 8. I missed my birthday! When it happened I was the only one awake. I had woke up in the morning with a bloody nose. I ran to the bathroom to get cold water to restrict the blood flow and that's when I noticed I was the only one awake. It was a school day! When I left the bathroom I realized it was night in the front of the house. That's why everyone's asleep! In the backyard it was daytime! As I stood in the kitchen I could see the darkness and the daytime by turning my head.

Suddenly it was like a bomb going off. The kitchen door flew open and I ran to wake up everybody. Strange, I'm yelling at the top of my lungs,and no one is coming to save me! Here come the tears,and the pressure on my heart.

They caught me right quick,and calmed me with their thoughts. They carried me out of the house 4 on each side. The real nightmare didn't begin until I got back home,a year later. There is so much more in my unconscious.I am too afraid to face them alone,again. This just hurts. I can't stop the tears.
