Massive slow, moving craft blinks all sorts of colors gliding over Harvard University

I was in my car driving and I had to pull over to get this short video six second clip of a massive craft really low to the ground hovering over Harvard University in Cambridge. It was blinking pink green and almost looked iridescent on the camera.

My first report was hurriedly done and pics were trapped in my camera. I watched a very bright light through our leafless tree for a couple minutes. I called my husband and we watched together a couple more minutes with binoculars. My husband saw a blue aura. I saw a blue light burst from upper left of object. I got my canon camera and took still shots and 2 videos for 5 minutes. Object started below the trees and then went high. Would go farther than closer. Sighting ended as it seemed to spin and disintegrate. An hour or 2 later a chopper flew over and headed east to where we saw the object. There is a cell phone tower with a burned out red light. When that happens a white light blinks like a strobe light. We wondered if the UFO was attracted to the cell tower. I inquired at the sheriff’s office about any reports. They said no. I didn’t leave my name. Area is sparsely populated.

High speed UFO Sighting

While out in the yard with the dog, I glanced up at the sky and notice a dark colored elongated teardrop shaped object speed through an opening in the clouds. It was moving at a high rate of speed, reentered the clouds and was gone in seconds. The object's flight paths was from West to East and south of my location. I didn't hear any sound coming from the object and there wasn't any contrails or noticeable means of propulsion. No flight surfaces where visible and the object appeared to be larger than normal air traffic common to the skies above my home. If I had to estimate, I would say it was about twice as long as an airliner.

I was unable to take any photos or video due to the briefness of the sighting. But I did think to take a photo of the sky for reference of the object location and cloud formations present during the sighting (making sure to capture landmarks).

I immediately went in the house and did a sketch of the object. It was flat black in color like a weathered car bumper. I will attach the location photo that I took for reference as well as the sketch I did.

Fire red pulsating ball

I did not see an object per se. I saw, for lack of a better term, a firey red and orange ball that hung in the sky for about 30 to 45 seconds from when I noticed it, then blinked out. It was literally sparkling. From the distance I saw it, it appeared quite large. I have seen a smaller white light, always just one, in the same area a number of times that does the same thing; just blinks off. This is a very rural area in north central Vermont where we rarely even see a plane. We do have a military practice area nearby but that is in Underhill which is several miles south of us. We've seen the night vision things they send up on a few occasions but this was nothing like that. It was very bright red, sparkling, and just one object.

A loud noise caught my attention to look out my window to see that there was a large circular shaped object hovering over apt complex

After dinner, I had sat down on my couch to turn my television on and heard a noise that sounded like a “train” coming through. When it got closer, I had jumped up to look out my window because in that time frame I’m in a panic with how obnoxiously loud the sound was, as if something were about to crash on the side of my apt building. When I looked outside my sliding glass doors, there was a large circular object with a range of 15-30 different colorful lights that were in a round shape. Very close in range to my apt. Within feet above the tree that is across the street from me. When it had left, it came back but seemed to make its way back in the shape of a V. When I went to open my camera, my phone froze. I later realized that the photo taken from my phone had partially caught the object on camera (although blurry) still very visible.

Strange flashing lights in the night sky above Eastern Ohio.

August 19, 2020 @ 9:47 pm Rural Eastern Ohio While taking the trash can to the curb. I noticed a pair of odd flashing lights in the night sky, traveling west to east in a straight trajectory at a slow but constant speed. The event lasted a little more than a minute before the lights disappeared behind the trees. The bright white lights were flashing in unison and similar to anti-collision strobe lighting on an aircraft. But there were no red or green directional lights observed, just the two very bright flashing lights.

I was a bit stunned at first. But then I remembered I had my mobile phone in my pocket. I took it out and attempted to record the object. I say object because the two lights appeared to maintain the same distance from one another the whole time.

The lights also appeared to be at a lower altitude than normal nighttime air traffic for this area.

At one point I thought that it might be some type of consumer drone. But there wasn’t the telltale buzzing sound that a drone makes. It also appeared that the lights were quite large. At the angle that I was viewing them, I’m guessing that they were somewhere near a thousand feet AGL (above ground level). Therefore being too big to be a drone. There was a slight low rumbling sound during the sighting. If it were a standard aircraft flying at that altitude it would have been easily discernible.

Though my video was a bit shaky, I did manage to capture footage of the flashing lights. I also pulled a still from the video. When enlarged, it clearly shows the two individual lights.

As far as I know I was the only witness to this event. Our neighbors were outside at the time having an argument (which was captured on the video’s audio track). But I believe they were too immersed in their confrontation to notice the lights.

Our property is located about 2 miles east of a small city and these lights were traveling from that direction. About 3 miles to the south west is a small municipal airport. These lights did not take the normal flight path that local aircraft make on approach or departure.

I’m a retired security lieutenant and I used to work night security at a factory adjacent to that airport. I have seen countless aircraft on approach at night. These lights did not match anything that I have seen before. I’m also a hobbyist UAS (unmanned aerial systems) pilot. I’m familiar with drones and their flight characteristics. Which is why I do not believe this was a drone.

I still have no idea what I witnessed on the night of August 19th 2020 @ 9:47 pm. It has come to my attention that a sighting of a similar object occurred that same day approximately 12 hours earlier in the Cleveland Ohio area. This is why I decided to report my sighting to you.

MADAR Node 137 documents a significant compass heading change within 5 mins of Cambridge sighting.

Our study showed compass heading change in the MSV (Multi Sensor Verification) range of 3 degrees from 111.12 to 108.13 in five minutes beginning at 01:47:19 UTC, but without the qualifying field reading change that normally triggers the device, which in this case would need to be in excess of the threshold of 29. This is still VERY interesting in view of the compass heading change for three reasons: 1) Three degrees under controlled conditions is considered as significant, just as 2.5 times local background radiation is considered as significant. 2) Original MADAR was based on CHC (compass heading change) and was successful in several instances, and no field readings in milligaus were available at the time. 3) 3.5 miles was given as the distance between the sighting location and the MADAR site at Canton and occurred within 5 minutes of each other!

59 strange crafts with lights over Cambridge

I was outside looking northwest, talking with my husband, when I looked up and saw approximately nine circular objects moving in a formation from the west to the Northeast. I was dumbfounded so I told my husband to look up and he saw it too. They were similar to the look of a satellite that you see in the night sky. They were moving slower than that however. I began to count the amount that I saw and in overtime it was 59 total. They initially started in large groups and then slowly went down to three, two, and then single crafts. The two that I saw together moved simultaneously from the west to northwest next to each other. At the same time that these crafts were moving I began to see two other crafts from the south to the north that crossed paths with these other objects. I then knew for sure that they were not Aircrafts. The to the cross the Paz, flash really bright lights for about two seconds, and then went black flashed again and went black. I also saw in the horizon directly to the north two very bright lights that look like an explosion that went horizontally across the horizon from the east to the west. These were unlike any sort of shooting star or meteorite I have ever seen before. I decided to call my sister and my mom who live an hour south of me, they both went outside and saw the same things I was seeing. When I was on the phone with my sister one of the single crafts close to the end of the group, became very bright, I describe it the brightness of the sun and then turned completely black. My sister on the phone saw the exact same thing. I then knew that these were not Aircrafts if she is an hour south of me and she is seeing the same thing. At around 1113 I didn’t see any more so I decided to go back inside. During this time, I did see one airplane, that I heard and saw different lights on it. It was very distinct. These objects were not like that at all and made no sound.

Military helicopter chasing light.

Helicopter that sounded and was moving fast got my attention in the northern sky watch it approach and thought wow he's moving fast but then I saw a single dot of light ahead of it maybe 1000 feet or so that was small and could tell there was no flash it was just a solid white and moving very smoothly watched for total of about 20 seconds after seeing the dot and then lost sight due to the woods behind my house.

This helicopter was either following another military vehicle that was some type of top secret thing or this was a a a freaking UFO.

Blue idle star moves erractically and is red while in motion.

I was sitting at a baseball field in the bleachers with my boyfriend, just chit chatting and enjoying the night. The sky was so clear that night. We were looking up at the stars. I then looked straight ahead and saw what I thought was a bright blue star. It was completely still and shining a bit brighter than the other stars and it was definitely a blue-ish color.

I then pointed it out to my BF. As soon as I pointed at it (and we were both looking right at it at this point) it moved quickly to the right and changed colors - to a reddish blinking light. It then jerked up, then left, then down, then right. The turns were very sharp - almost like it stopped in the air and turned right back around to go the other way.

The way it moved and the speed it moved, my BF and I agreed it could not of been anything man-made (that we know of, of course). We saw it moving for about a minute then it disappeared behind some trees.

A few minutes later we saw two triangular pla! nes (one after the other) flying parallel to us the turn left toward where the object was. Those planes looked as if they could of been military fighter jets. They weren't moving too fast and the turn looked normal to what I've seen as far as planes go. It definitely could of been coincidental as they turned towards where Logan Airport would be (we see planes fly over all the time in Cambridge).

I know what I saw was something different and no one will convince me otherwise. It was not a plane, helicopter, drone, laser light, or anything like that. This thing was completely idle like a star, started out blue, and changed to red lights and moved erratically right after I pointed it out to my BF.

The reason I felt the need to share this story is basically to see if anyone else in my area saw something like that on that night. I know I'm not crazy because my boyfriend saw it too.

Very cool but sort of freaked me out.

On 4/30/2013 at 9:30pm, my husband, daughter and I were driving home from bingo. When we were a few miles from our house we saw two sets of red lights with an amber colored light blinking. as we passed by them, they seemed to be hovering above our neighbors back yard, about three tree lengths into the sky. it appeared to be two triangular objects with a row of lights on the end, two red on each end with the blinking orange amber in the middle. there was no sound, they weren't moving, but just "hanging" there. This is only right down the road from where we live, and we have never seen anything like this. My husband said they MUST have put up a couple of towers for something, as way too low to be aircraft, and weren't moving at all. I said if there were towers they would have to be in someone's yard, that's how close they were! When daylight came, we drove down there and there is no tower, nothing. We also went back the next two nights and nothing, no lights, nothing but starry sky!

Strange color changing light in the middle of a town with no power about 50 feet off the ground.

It was around 9:00 p.m on saturday when I had just droped a friend off at home. I just left his house and began to drive down the road about 60 yards and noticed a light off to my left. I started to slow down and roll down my window. The light was vibrating between colors, red, green, yellow, white. Was about the size of a basketball id say and only about as high off the ground as the tallest tree in the area. The light wasnt moving and seemed to be frozen in postion accept for the changing of colors very slowy and almost wavy like. The location of the light was very irrelevant because we had just had a storm blow through and we had lost power in the whole area. Therefore no houselights, no streetlights, no object needing power was able to function. This light stayed in position for 4 to 5 mins. Then as I began to film it from my car, it started to move parralel to the ground at a slow speed away from me without changing direction or elevation. See! med to be in perfect sinc, no flaws or strange noises at all. Just after it started to move the intensity of the light began to decrease and dim, in till eventually completely disappearing. Just after this I received a phone call and some friends of mine had also seen it. In fact two of us caught it on video from different locations. This is not the first sighting of this light. It also appears in groups of 3 and even 7-8 in numbers, and all seem to be in symmetrical order.

Bright light descends over Cambridge, MA area, hovers, then breaks into three separate aircraft.

This sighting occurred on May 10, 2012 an hour or so after sunset in Cambridge, MA.

I was sitting in the passenger seat of an acquaintance's car on my way home from dinner when I first noticed a peculiar bright light descending from the sky. Aside from its gradual vertical descent there was no horizontal movement; the object did not appear to be heading in any direction except for straight down. This was particularly notable because there were airplanes in other areas of the sky during that time by which to compare this object, and while the other airplanes were headed in more obvious directions (toward or away from Boston Logan Airport just a few miles away), this object was altogether different. It was a bright white, spherical object that did not blink as most airplane lights do.

At a certain point the object stopped its descent and merely hovered there for several minutes. By this point I was in shock, and I watched this object for the entire duration of my car ride home which was just under five minutes. When I got out of the car near the Cambridge/Somerville line I noticed the object split into three smaller bodies of light.

The three objects began flying away together in a triangle flight pattern, only to break it a few minutes later to fly around freely. They made sharp turns and seemed to be flying around a certain area near my neighborhood. By this point I was running down the road at top speed trying to record what I was seeing on my phone's video camera, but unfortunately the quality was terrible because cell phones simply can't film these kinds of events when it's pitch black outside.

I ran into my apartment to retrieve my partner so we could go out together, but by the time we got outside 10 minutes or so later I couldn't find the objects again. I have been checking over and over for reports of this online with no luck which I find to be very shocking because prior to breaking up into three separate aircraft, the single body of light was so bright and moved so strangely in the sky I couldn't believe no one else had said anything about it.

Three lights in a triangular formation

I was coming home from my brothers house, and was a couple of miles outside of Cambridge, MN, on highway 95 heading east. The sky was clear, with a big full moon illuminating the sky.

All of a sudden, I saw a flash of light in the sky to my left. I looked up and saw 3 lights in a triangular shape. It was maybe 150 to 200 feet in the air. In between the lights I could see a solid metal shape. It was moving slowly, and floated across the road just in front of me. There was no sound.

After it had passed across the road I looked to my right and could see it for a short period of time. There was a vehicle behind me on the road that must have seen it too. Wish I had pulled over and watched it further.

I guess I was kind of afraid, so I just kept driving.

Myself and a friends friend saw a group of 6 to 8 (simultaneously) blinking lights in the eastern sky. The 3 leftside lights went north ,in a straight line and disappeared. A second sighting in a small rural Idaho town.

I went out a sunset to see if I could see this again as I reported a sighting on July 8th. I could see it immediately. I took 200 pictures over the next 2 hours of it. It sometimes looks like a sphere or circle and other times more of a hexagon. On manual focus I could see it pulsating and it looks as if something in jumping around inside it. It is colorful but so bright that it looks white. I was able to see it's movement by extending the shutter speed. Each time it formed a different unique pattern in the sky. It seemed to get closer and farther away. My niece was with me this time and she saw it too. It frightened her. I felt no fear at all. I would love to send my pictures to someone to be analyzed or compared with others who have seen this. I have never had an encounter before July 8th.

I was driving west, home from work, in slow traffic in Cambridge MA and while looking at two jets and their contrails at about 30,000' I saw what appeared to be a silver orb. It appeared and disappeared within 3-5 seconds. I categorized it as probably another jet with the sun reflecting off it's fusilage as it banked, although there was no contrail.

Several miles later I saw another one (or the same one again) also for just a few seconds. I still didn't think much of it, until minutes later when I saw three helicopters: two flying east about 1000 feet apart at 5,000' 1 yellow 2 seater, the other navy blue/white ~6 seater, and the third flying north -I couldn't see the colors too well through the trees, but it was a dark color and small. About 15 minutes after that, I watched a military jet (F16?) flying very slowly at around 12,000' - 15,000' southwest to northeast. I wanted to report this in case someone else saw more than I did.

Yellow and metallic Craft

Dear Sir, This is a belated follow-up to call; I made to your organization July 17th.

At 7:45 PM on 07/15, I clearly observed a craft.

This craft consisted of a yellow square approximately 10 feet high with a metallic band across the top. Protruding from this band the metal continued off the top for 10 ft tapering into a point. The texture, and appearance were incredible, as if it were brand new. ( If that makes sense) My view became obstructed by a small low cloud , I kept my eyes on that point in the sky. However; when the cloud passed the object was no longer there. I estimate the distance to be less than 25 yards from the window I observed this from. At the time I was looking out from a building on the 6 th floor.

This craft had no lights, no visible ports just what I described above.

I wish others had seen this, I told my Daughter, she thinks it was something Military. I can't imagine we have these capabilities.

I was sitting in a hammock in my backyard when a jet passed overhead at relatively high altitude. It appeared to be a commercial airliner with 2 engines located at the rear of the fuselage. It was flying in a SW direction at a high altitude, probably too high for it to have just taken off from nearby Logan airport (approx 10 miles away).

As I was lazily sitting in the hammock while grilling dinner, I looked up at the plane and saw a smaller object flying directly behind it at close range. My first instinct was that it was a fighter--it had the same general shape and was proportionatly sized compared to the airliner but from that distance, it was impossible to tell. My instinct was that it was escorting the airliner due to some sort of hijacking incident. I watched as the two craft disapeared from view (trees and houses block out most of the sky from the yard) and either the unidentified craft drew closer to the airliner or it appeared to due to perspective. I went inside to check the news for any sort of breaking report on a hijack but nothing. Now, 3 hours later, I'm still baffled.

Possible Abduction (Ongoing)

I was in the Air Force from 1982 till 1991. My wife and I had tried to have kids the whole time while I was in the service but to no avail. An Air Force physician had told us that we couldn't have any kids because my sperm count was too low. I told him that I had suffered an injury ((deleted)) when I was a child. He said that this was probably the reason why we couldn't have any children.

One night in the summer of 1993 I had a nightmare and woke up the next morning in a cold sweat. For some reason I couldn't recall what I had dreamed and just shook it off. I noticed a burn or boil ((deleted--in groin.)) A couple of days later I was mowing the grass and noticed three burn marks on the ground. Each mark was circular and about 2 feet in diameter and blackened.

I then noticed that the three circles formed a perfect triangle with about 30 foot sides. My wife can confirm this. One of the circles was in close proximity to one of our blue spruce pine trees. I thought that was peculiar so I grabbed my flashlight and squirmed underneath the tree. On the trunk I found that the bark was burnt and a couple of small branches had been burned off. There was also some residue on the ground that resembled small chunks of yellow plastic. This is not the end of the story.

Next month my wife missed her period. We did a home pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant with my daughter **** (Born April 1994). **** is extraordinary. She gets straight A's and has some precognitive abilities. A very sensitive child.

It's as though whoever put the burn marks on my privates, fixed whatever damage there was from childhood.

Last year **** came into our bedroom and asked to sleep with us because she was afraid. We said yes and the next morning she said that she woke up in the middle of the night,(she was laying between us), and said that four alien looking creatures were doing something to mommy and daddy. "Two on daddy's side and two on mommy's side." She said that she got scared and put the blanket over her head and stayed that way till morning. She did go on to say that they stepped through a door or portal and it had a bluish haze to it. It wasn't our bedroom door. This makes me think that maybe the aliens are traveling through dimensions and not space.

Anyway, you might think that I'm totally wacko by now but I swear on a stack of bibles that this is the truth.

I told my parents about the facts and they laughed at me, so that's why I dropped the subject. Please, if you print this story I don't want my name publicized for obvious reasons.

My UFO story

Before I myself saw UFOs, I had no strong opinion whether they existed - I assumed they could exist, but then we’re used to hard and incontrovertible evidence, and the lack of that - as experience available to other people, people who hadn’t already seen such evidence - makes it “hard to swallow” in many cases. So, if some group of people in some metropolitan area reported the same phenomenon and the “reason for the illusion” was not convincing, those people have seen UFOs, but that’s about as far as it goes. There’s nothing to do with the information but spread it to people willing to believe it. You wish you, the original observer, could replay the event for an audience and then they would agree.

I don’t remember any specific events I’ve seen on TV, but I remember the number of them and their variation. It struck me that what seemed likely was that we do have ET visitors, and not just a few. What rules they follow to stay so relatively unobserved, I have no idea. Perhaps they have a Visitor’s Association, some compact as to how to deal with Terra of Sol. Ground rules. I’m sorry, I’m teasing. But maybe they do have a Prime Directive of non-interference. Perhaps our over-steroided secret military is playing gags on us and having fun inventing variations on the “craft” theme for chuckles. In what I observed, I don’t think the human race, in any secret laboratory, has yet produced any technology that could make an object move as I observed a particular UFO move. I only saw actual UFOs once (a total of nine craft), but may have had an earlier sighting at Crane Beach, which I’ll describe.

I tell you flatly that what I saw was no illusion and no trick of nature. It was in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at roughly 3:30 AM, 12 January 1988*. I lived at the end of Dudley Street at the time, near the Arlington border and an eight-block hike from the end of the Red Line. It was the dead of night in Winter, absolutely, perfectly still and silent, with a thick covering of snow over everything. The sky was clear and dark as it could be being near Boston, the streetlights did little to interfere. The stars were out.

I was unemployed at the time so being up at 3:30 AM was usual. Even by January 12th I had not shut the storm windows and didn’t want the extra cold draft anymore, so I opened the inner window - I have to guess and am probably wrong but I think the window faced away from Boston, so a map should show the direction of my view. I couldn’t get the storm window to close from the inside, so I leaned out of the (third floor) window so that I could rotate to face the window to start closing it from the outside. I managed to face the window, but not at the angle I wanted to so I tried to “unrotate” and try again, and in that moment something caught my attention, and I turned my head to see what it was.

I saw “phosphorescent orange” things for a moment but had some impression of sparks to one side of my view, so I quickly looked for them to my left (remember I am looking upward at about a 45-degree angle - looking left was looking up at about 60-degrees.) By the time my gaze had shifted, the sky there was black, so I looked back for the orange impression and now I saw eight craft. It took me about 150 milliseconds to quit worrying that I was seeing UFOs and just look at them, because of course I had never seen them before and I wanted to see everything I could.

The eight craft were in a perfect formation, a sort of octagonal oval. Imagine a square, the four points of the square are four craft, and then at equal distances fore and aft the lead and tail pairs of craft are inset somewhat, making an “oval”. They were, I’m guessing, roughly 150 feet off the ground and at first sight about one or two city blocks away. They were gliding absolutely smoothly and noiselessly - no sound reached me. I would estimate their air speed as about 20 mph - not fast. At first sight I was able to see them in some relief (their sides as well as their bottoms.) I’m sorry to disappoint you, but they in fact looked like a classical Hollywood flying saucer**, more or less. I recall a dome shape atop; I don’t recall whether there were or weren’t seams between the dome portion and the rest. Dome-to-side came down curving, and it seemed there was the classical “skirt” flange along the bottom edge of the craft, that “foil” at the bottom edge familiar from movies. The craft themselves (their undersides) were of a similar oval shape (the phrase “horseshoe crab” wishes I would use it.) They appeared to have flat bottoms with a particular lighting; the spectacular thing about these craft was their color and light; they ‘glowed’ softly, as if luminescent/phosphorescent, a particular color which I describe as “salmon orange”. The light came from every part of the craft, but there was no apparent “reason” they should seem bathed in the light that I could see. The bottom sides of the craft had a thick annulus of a darker orange color meeting the outer edge, and spaced at intervals within the annulus all around were dark squares. For some reason I assumed those had to do with levitation and propulsion. In the center of the bottom, enclosed by the annulus, the color was again as bright as on the outside.

In the time it took to observe these details, the craft had closed the distance to my house by half and I could only observe the undersides of the craft. Then something again caught my attention “out of the corner of my eye” to my left, and I turned quickly to see what it was. This time it took a moment to see what was happening, and my jaw dropped. An object - smaller than the other craft, more spherically symmetrical, almost cubic but impossible to tell, lit more strongly than the others with the same color light, was making short excursions in free space that appeared to violate the laws of conservation of momentum. It zipped. I could follow its movements but it was exceedingly fast. It appeared to be even closer to me at one point, perhaps 80 feet above, but it zipped off - always in straight lines - at crazy and acute angles from its previous direction - instantaneously. And it did this at a rate of two to three times per second. I’ll estimate that the straight-line paths were 50 to 100 feet in length. This thing moved as if it were a bullet ricocheting inside a steel-walled chamber, but it was doing this in free space, in three dimensions. I had the chance to observe about 7-10 such cycles before it passed out of view over my house, and still astonished I wheeled back to catch the others but they passed overhead and out of view in a few more seconds. I wasted several seconds fussing with the window to get it closed, and then I raced to the front of the house to the veranda but there was no sign of them on what I thought might be their path. Chickenshit that I was (how many people get to see UFOs?), and living on the third floor with no shoes or socks on in the dead of Winter, I regret that I did not just run downstairs and outdoors, snow be damned and look for them. I think I rationalized at the time that I had seen them in any case, so not seeing more of them was not going to erase that I had now seen them.

I think the “sparks” I first thought I saw was this ninth craft, that when I tried to see the “sparks” the craft had simply been blocked from view by the house. I remember the sense of confusion in my visual cortex as to what to look at, and I think this craft was what actually drew my attention to begin with, even though it initially passed out of view almost immediately. I got the impression that this ninth craft was some sort of scout for the other craft, a lookout. I wondered that they came at all, coming when they did means everyone’s asleep - and not a soul was stirring that night (in that neighborhood) but me. I wondered if they detected my presence or observation - if it mattered to them, whether they had taken notice and made any changes to escape observation. It seemed to me they deviated their course because they did not emerge on the other side of the house where I thought they should (see Figure 1.) They would have to have changed course 15 or more degrees, based on where I didn’t see them.

Oh well, that one time. Except for Crane Beach. A few weeks before this sighting, in my Noir mood being depressed and unemployed, I went to Crane Beach - I’d gone once before. I always took binoculars, I had a spectacular 7×50 that I could see the moons of Jupiter with (try that! It’ll rock your world.) Again it was the dead, dead of night (probably in the same time frame, between 0315 and 0400), nobody around, nice and spooky, at the water’s edge, the Atlantic. I was there for a while looking at stars. The sky was very clear. Finally I got a little restless to get going, watched a few jets, and then saw another “jet” - but this one was interesting. It was brighter than the other planes but it was colored, whereas the other jets all used white lights, this one was - slightly reddish orange. The same color as the later UFOs. I thought that was curious and I followed it, and then another thing struck me: this thing appeared to be miles and miles out to sea, yet it was traveling really fast across the horizon proceeding South, which meant that its objective speed had to be even faster. It was much faster than the lazy jets nearing Boston. There is a spit of land (Rockport) ’south’ of Crane Beach (Figure 2.) Against the 2D backdrop of the coastline with the spit in the “upper right” (Figure 3), the object seemed to near the spit and then made a change of path - which astonished me because it was almost exactly orthogonal to its original path. It didn’t bat an eyelash or change its speed in any way but it executed a 90-degree turn instantaneously (like the cars hitting corners in “Tron”) and proceeded in a direction that now took it away from the spit and out to sea. I remember thinking about it at the time, if I had really seen that object do what it had seemed to do. I gave up, and chalked it to memory. That memory was awakened shortly after the direct UFO sighting; if these UFOs could do it, so could that thing, whatever it was. Whatever it was at Crane Beach was much larger than what I saw in Cambridge.

I would like to see them again.

* I made certain to memorize the date. The time may be off a bit.

** There are “two kinds” of hollywood flying saucer. One has a hemispherical dome atop in the center of a wide circular disk, whose surface is mostly parallel to the ground - a plate. This is probably the more “modern” idea once designers got into it. The other kind has more superstructure or “cabin” above, whose sides are more upright. My kind was the second kind. I am reminded of the CSS Virginia (aka the Merrimack), with the beveled sides.

Multiple objects of differing size and possible jet intervention seen in late evening sky over rural area of Ohio, early 1980's.

I was going to bed late one evening and I noticed some lights in the distance through my bedroom window. My room was on the north side of the building and the window is a north facing window. The area where I lived was 2 miles north of town. Pop. 12,000 in the town, 40,000 in whole the county. As I approached the window to see what they were, I observed over 10 small lights which alternately flashed blue, green, and reddish orange. They all seemed to be moving in a hap-hazard manner. I then noticed further up in the sky a much larger elongated craft, this object had the same color lights around it with the exclution of of the reddish-orange. I noticed a steady white light on the bottom of craft off to one end. This white light was not flashing but appeared to be from an internal light source. The distance from my location seemed to be at least a half mile at other end of a valley. The larger object was stationary throughout the sighting till the very end. I aproximate the size to be at least 200 to 300 feet long and 75-100 feet accross. The smaller lights may have been 10-15 feet across. Upon seeing this i called my mother who was in her room adjancet to mine. She looked out her window and observed the same scene. The smaller objects began to move up to the larger craft and back down below the horizon. After 20-30 seconds i spotted the objects rising back to larger craft. After 8 to 9 minutes of this action, I heard a loud roaring sound. We noticed 2 objects heading toward the larger craft but they were different from the others. As soon as i noticed them the smaller objects started to disappear inside the larger craft. The larger craft began to move away from the approaching objects, slowly at first, then at a great speed till it disappeared from view. The approaching objects gave off a loud roaring sound that gave me to believe they were some type of jets. The pursuing objects suddenly had 2 large bright orangish white lights at rear, (I assumed afterburners). The large craft well out ! accelera ted the pursuing objects as they approached the area it occupied. After this sighting, my mother was quite un-nerved and had to sit down for 45 minutes to calm down. Side note: in the area it is very rural and only a few families lived in the area below the where the craft were spotted. Also the closest airbase is at least 80 miles to the west in Columbus, Ohio.

What is described as the Dover Demon I 100 percent saw no question with 4 other people

Fresh pond area had a huge dump today known as danahey park, we used to play in there often. I had not thought about this since it happened and we never told anyone..my brother mentioned it yesterday and our two other friends we havent seen in 20 years easy.

We walked along a "path" if you can call it that and we all stopped as we saw it and it saw us...the most striking feature was red eyes..glowing red..it had its hands on the ground and stood erect, it was standing in the path, it was doing something when we came upon it, we startled it and it startled us...it turned, looked directly at all of us and slowly walked away.

The dump had growth way over our heads, dry reeds and like that, when it left we heard nothing, an impossibility in the dump. The amount of space encompassed by the dump was huge, we as kids knew our way around it, no one else really did, we played in ther all the time..we knew it well..

As I said I havent seen my friends in 20 years if approached the definetly remember it, the certainly never told anyone and will remember we agreed it was an orangutang, with the one unexplained item, the red glowing eyes...

Jefferson Park, Cambridge Mass, 2 children sight 50ft craft-speak about it 30+years later

Between 1973 and 1978 on a summer evening my brother and I (ages 3and4 to 8 and 9) saw a 50ft craft, 100ft in the air moving slowly and quietly above Jefferson Park. Numerous colored lights lighting in a rotating pattern. The lights themselves DID NOT rotate. There was no "cockpit" or area on the bottom to act as one like a blimp would have. It was round and somewhat flat unlike a blimp.

I told my mother and aunt who where outside and they dismissed us. It was grey and don't remember windows. It was light out and very easy to see but nobody else saw it or said anything.

We saw dark disc shaped objects emerge from the bottom of a "ligher than the evening sky" oblong light, fly around and reenter.

In 1966 my husband and I,and our new baby girl moved to Cambridge,Oh where he had been transferred to open a new retail store. My family lived in Crooksville, OH, approximately 40 miles, We visited my family about three, or more, times a week. Mostly in the evenings, after he got off work. We were traveling East on State Route 40 when one of us, (I can't remember who saw it first.) noticed the object in the sky, to the right. It looked as if it was some distance away. It was approximately 5:30 or 6:00 PM, and still light outside but there was a lighter oblong shape in the sky. I've always said it looked like an "opening" in the sky.

At the bottom end of it small (looked small to us) black frisbee shaped object would come out, and fly around close to the area it seemed to emerge from and fly back in. When it went back in it would disappear from view. I think there may have been three or four that would be visible at the same time, and they would disappear into the end of the oblong lite and come back. Maybe the same ones; maybe not. We continued to watch it, and made a turn back into Cambridge, To be honest I don't know when we lost view. I was surprised that no one else said anything about it, as there was a lot of traffic on the highway that night.

We decided to drive back into Cambridge hoping to keep the objects in sight. Upon entering the city saw to the left of us a large blimp like object, black or dark gray, which seemed rather close to the ground, seemingly not far above tree level. Didn't look like it was moving. On the side was a red, white and blue insignia. Keep thinking it looked like an American flag, but can't remember for sure. It seemed such an unusual object to see at that time, and I wondered for what reason was it there.

There had been a couple of incidents, but no other witnesses, so I don't know if you would be interested in them or not.
