Small grey arc got closer and closer and seemed to become gigantic disk shaped object

There I was observing the sky and a mostly clear night with some low clouds. Notice a small gray arc floating slowly across sky. This gray arc is probably not too far in distance but not too close to feel threatening and was about a little more than the width of the moon, so I knew something was off. It was moving slowly to my left (seemingly south to north). What started as small grey arc started to grow as it traveled North and closer and closer and closer. I felt the need to walk closer out of curiosity and this gray arc turned absolutely massive. The dark grey arc had probably covered 30-40 degrees of my 180-degree field space, traveling close and getting closer and had gone from this small dark gray arc to a brighter grayish white arc where behind it you could see the black shadow of what appeared to complete the disk like object that seemingly was heading towards us. I had walked toward it out of curiosity and once it was this big, I had screamed at others to look. To describe the size and look - This deep gray arc went from a distant thin whisp to a thick whiter than grey arc even slightly brightening up and surface I was on. Taking up about 5 moons in width and height (hard to describe the arc but easy to draw) After I yelled at other to start look out of fear I turned back and all of a sudden it was gone. It did not seem to descend into the tree line but there were a lot of clouds. Nobody seems to have an explanation for how it just disappeared. There was not a single sound. Nothing.

Started as a very faint light that began to move at almost lighting speed that eventually turned into a massive ball of fire And then dwindled away.

Captured during long exposure photo session.

I noticed this while post-editing long exposure images from early Wednesday morning, December 14, 2022 of the Geminid meteor shower. These are definitley not meteors.

There are five (5) distinct trails, none of which travel in a straight line. Not sure exactly what I captured here, but I have shot thousands of milky way/night sky long-exposure images and have never seen anything quite like this. GPS from area are 40°54'17.064" N 72°48'55.716" W. Facing WSW.
