3 objects looking like lanterns morph into drone-shapes. Start at different times but in same location and fly same direction.

While in our backyard, my family and I witnessed an object that looked like a floating lantern appear above the tree line. It was flickering but unmoving at first. Then, it began to float upwards. It briefly dimmed and went from a gold-like color to a white light. A red light began flashing from it as well. It moved in a drone-like motion northwest of where it began. The motion was very uniform and in a straight line. As this happened, a second “lantern” appeared above the tree line. It did the same thing as the first, but more quickly. Once it transitioned into the flashing light, a third appeared and did the same thing. Each appearing at a different time with the same appearance, dimming, then somehow changing appearance into something else. The movement while these objects were gold seemed to only be going upwards and more uneven. However, once they turned into the blinking objects, they only went northwest. We tried to follow the third one in our car but lost it. I am unsure if anymore appeared behind it. The observers were myself, my parents, and my siblings. We all saw the same thing.

Taking picture of fog over filed. Captured image by accident

Was walking my dogs. Probably 48 degrees F. Not a sound except crickets. Out in the country near massive solar fields. Held my arm up to capture top of cornfield with fog and took the picture. Got home and noticed a black ‘dot’ on photo from I-phone. The image was a ‘live’ image so I touched the screen to see if I could tell what the black dot was and surprised to see how fast it moved across the screen. Super,super fast. No sound.

Looking north while fishing from south shore of a local lake I saw a white cigar shaped object floating E. To W.. suddenly, another one appeared roughly a mile east of first one with same heading. Looking back at first one, it briefly displayed bright white lights, one at each end of cigar.

The fist and second cigars gradually became too distant to see.

Then looking east again, a third cigar appeared. It was also heading west, then suddenly it changed direction in a looping fashion so fast it had a trail of light. It quickly disappeared to the east.

All three cigars seemed to be about 3000 feet altitude and a quarter mile north of me and moved too slow to be fixed wing craft. I hesitated to file report until I read other similar reports recently. I am a retired auto mechanic and dont necessarily think these were aliens. Just something I have no explanation for.

Lights in the southern sky which move, pause, and change direction.

On 10-04-17, my daughter and I saw some strange lights in the sky and couldn't figure them out. My daughter and I are both adults who enjoy watching the sky at night. We are both detail oriented and I am a voracious reader.

At approximately 6:10 AM, we were sitting on our covered patio. It was still dark, the sky was clear, and stars were very visible. The outside temperature was 51 degrees F. We noticed a very bright "star" stationary in the southern sky and our first thought was that the north star should not be in the southern sky. We located the north star, right where it should have been. We then realized that the light in the sky was much brighter than the north star.

We noticed that the light had begun moving in a westerly direction. We have a lot of air traffic in our area, so we're familiar with the speed airliner lights appear to move in the night sky. This light was moving faster than an airliner.

All of a sudden the bright light winked out. A few seconds later there were red and white blinking lights where the bright light had been. The lights would move west, pause for a second or two, then move west again. The lights paused and moved west 5 times. After the final pause, the lights then began moving straight up. They stopped long enough to blink twice, then began moving east at an even faster rate than the bright light had moved. We followed the blinking lights for nearly a minute, then they disappeared.

We have witnessed strange lights in the southern sky on several occasions over the last few years. I finally decided to see if there could be an explanation for them.

Summer of 2013, around the 4th of July, about 10 PM, I was on our patio, when I saw a bright light in the southern sky arc from the treeline. It reached what would have been the apex of the arc and simply winked out. Two seconds later another bright light followed the same trajectory from the treeline to the apex and winked out. Two seconds after that a third bright light followed the same path as the other two and winked out.

Initially, since it was fireworks season, I assumed they were just fireworks. Then I realized that there was no noise, no flash, nothing. The lights just winked out. The lights were puzzling because fireworks, by their very nature, cannot maintain such precise trajectories, especially along an identical path.

Three red lights in the Indiana sky

We witnessed 3 red lights in the northwestern sky, seemingly motionless and equally spaced apart. They seemed to be too low to be a plane/planes.

By the time I was able to grab my husband's phone, one had disappeared.

I jumped out of the car with my phone and only one remained. I was able to follow the last one traveling to the west until it disappeared.

Unexplained red lights in the Indiana sky.

While standing outside, I witnessed a red light in the western sky. I thought at first that it was a plane heading towards me because it didn't seem to move. As I waited for it to come closer, I realized that it was going directly up. I thought at that point that it may have been a firework heading up before exploding. That didn't happen. It continued to go up into the sky until it disappeared.

As I told my family what I saw, we witnessed another one in the northern sky traveling east. It disappeared as well.

3:00am humming and craft for 5 minutes

was working on the computer i work midnights so i was awake right around 3:00to3:05 a humming whinding noise came from outside i slide on my shoe's and a coat think it was about 2 degrees that morning from straight above to about the constellation Casseopea short bursts of speed then an almost hover my neighbor from acroos the street came outside said he was awoken by a loud hum and his windows were shaken said his vcr started to rewind and it was off when I pionted out the object we stood there for about 1 minute 30 seconds then it shot the other direction and was gone you could hear the low humming rumble the entire time I noticed 6 different lights one from a different location then what we thought was the craft whiched seemed to follow the pattern of the first one.....

i was on my way back from my brothers house about 30 min from my house i was driving the back roads home usually just going in the same direction i wasnt sure of the roads just keep going east. my friend and i were decided to stop to to urnate i got out of my truck so did he i was faceing west when i saw a light i thought was a snowmobile the light was coming about 1/4 from us at the tee in the road when a sharp turn toward us i still though it was an snowmobile but it wasnt on the road when the light was coming then east from the turn it looked like it was about 10 feet above the road thennnnn it blinked but a second later the light was about a telephone pole ahead it was like it would flash then be closer everytime the first flash kinda startled me i said to my friend look whats that when the object flashed again it got closer the flashed when it seemed when it would flash again it would be at my truck i jumped in my truck and speed off going about 20 feet before i realized i left my friend running behind the truck i stopped he jumped in. since that day my heart has never beaten so fast so pumped up we know what we seen it freaked us out to the point that nobody would believe us but we still traveled back to knox and told some poeple but still to this day it wonders me to the point i am for the first time rporting this sighting. i will take a lie test and even though i moved out of that town that year i would be anything i got that my friend would say the same story. the only thing that was confusing we got back to knox later then we should have. not much but later then should have i checked my cell phone outcalls and confused me. this is the first time i ever wrote all this down.the light was about a 5 ft round 10-15ft above the ground no sounds coming from it

UFO hovers above and shines a bright beam of light down on me

I believe it was in the fall of 1972. I was a Sgt. on sheriff patrol in Knox NY at the time. It was around 8 or 9pm and it was dark out. I pulled over to the side of Route 146 to relieve myself. I was standing right next to my cop car and I heard a slight humming sound which I thought was my car radio. I started to turn to enter my cop car when all of a sudden a very bight intense beam of light shown down on me. It scared the heck out of me. I tried to look up but the light was so bright I could hardly make out the shape of the object. It was saucer shaped and from what I could estimate it was about 200-400 feet above me.

Then the intense beam of light turned off in a blink just like a flash light would and I could see the object shoot off at a very high rate of speed up out of sight. It made little or no noise and left faster than anything I have ever seen or could possibly imagine at the time or now for that matter.

I then got a call on my cop radio from one of my Deputy officers I was in charge of and he told me to come to a woman's house who said she had seen a UFO a few minutes ago in Berne New York which was close to Knox. I told my Deputy that I thought I might have just seen what she saw and decided to go check it out. When I got to the woman's house her dogs were acting very strange. They were crawling on their bellies with their tails between their legs and were trembling. I have never seen dogs act like that. She told me she had see a UFO hovering over her barns in the back yard and had seen them several times before that night.

After that I decided to contact the control tower at the Albany airport. I asked them if they had tracked anything out of the ordinary and they replied "no, but we've received several other phone calls from people saying they saw UFOs as well." The events were published in the Albany newspaper (I believe it was the Albany Times Union) shortly there after.

I have not told many people about this except for my close family. I don't want any media attention and anyone to bother me. I saw what I saw and I know it was something strange and out of the ordinary.

I need to make one correction to the report I filled with you regarding my Grandfather's UFO sighting. He thought is was in the fall of 1972 but the correct date is November 8, 1971. Can you make this correction before you post it in your data base? It's too good of a sighting to not have the correct date.
