Looked up to see very bright light . Brighter than any star I’ve seen then proceeds to change shape into almost a weird expanding and then going back into a round shape. When it expanded it looked like it had points and would flare out . The video shows almost an orb like thing with multiples. There was also another blinking almost rotating sphere that was to the left somewhat farther and above.

Object of bright light over Long Island NY coast

Out my window in the distance, I observed a very bright white light with no defined shape moving low and very slowly, almost hovering, I was looking for the northern lights tonight that may be seen in NY, a rare occurrence.

At first I thought this white light was part of it but quickly understood that it wasn’t. It was dark and in comparison to a plane in the sky at the same time with flashing lights I determined after a few moments that this was not a plane and I could not understand what it was. We live off the coast by the water and in a busy flight path, so I am familiar with seeing planes.

After taking my eye off of it for a second, I looked again and noticed that the object turned right and was going in the opposite direction. It was quite a distance away, but it looked circular/slightly oval, black with a bright white light.

8 objects witnessed over Long Island, NY.

1) I was watching the Mets game.

2) I always see planes from JFK's flight pattern from my vantage point on the couch of my home....the lights caught my eye because they weren't from a plane....it was glowing redish orange and they were not blinking like those from a jet plane. As they came overhead they were completely silent. I observed 8 of them...it was when I saw the 4th one, I went inside and grabbed my cellphone to record the rest of them.

3) I knew they were not planes. I live by an airport, and like I said, JFK's flight pattern is over my house and I am intimately familiar with jets lights and how they blink. There's the wing lights and the headlights...these objects didn't blink. They glowed and pulsed and were reddish-orange.

4) They moved very slowly...much slower than a jet. Then again....I couldn't gauge how high they were because it was dark out, but they were under the clouds at the time. They seemed to go in a perfectly straight line and controlled manner. The two I have in one frame on video flew in a formation and never strayed from each other.

5) I really didn't have a reaction other than I knew these were not airplanes or helicopters or anything that is currently known to man. This is not my first UFO encounter either...I've seen silver orbs during the day before...I just never got them on cell phone.

6) I lost sight because they eventually went beyond camera and eyesight.

I heard a sound and woke up to see a creature in a blue outfit in my house.

Ok i was asleep in my apt in bed and i awoke to a strange whoosing sound. So i turned to my right and looked to see where it came from and i was in shock and very terrified to see a humanoid about 5'3" wearing a very blue spacesuit or something that covered its body except its neck and head. It wore black boots up to its knee and it had the ugliest face and no neck. Looked like its skin was melted or something. Kinda green complextion and had a very sad look in its face which i found very odd like it was depressed or something. Its eyes were black and beady. It never moved just stood there in the bathroom doorway staring at me. I didnt know what to do. If this thing was agressive or what so i yelled out of fear and tried to jump out of bed to get away but i couldnt move a muscle and passed out. I awoke about five hours later. My left shoulder hurt bad. And i found a lump on my right shoulder blade that wasnt there ever. I never had this experience befor! e and dont know why it happened to me. But three days prior to this insident i remember seeing very clearly out my bathroom window a luminous base ball like object silently float past the window as i was cleaning the tile. It was ghostly and its light left a trail behind it. I thought that was very strange and thought nothing else about it then. But now i wonder could it be how this alien spaceman found me in the first place? I'm now concerned that it may come back and i hope not to ever see that ugly face again. I havent slept since it happened im to afaid at this time. Btw my cats were near me and looked at the being but paid it no mind. I found that strange as well. Usually they run and hide when folks they don't know come by.

saw a object that was very odd in the sky over the ocean off fire island inlet!!

Was looking on my computer at Bunger surf cam that looks out over the ocean, i like to see wales and boats ect, they have the cam that loops every 11 frames. On the six frame saw a object, it wasn't a jet or anything else! to my knowlege. At 10:30 p.m., I saw in the sky what looked like an airplane on fire heading south towards the Great South Bay in New York.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. ET, on the South Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County, NY, my husband abruptly said, "What is that?  What is that?"

We ran to the window and saw an unusual flying object.  

At around 3 or 5 thousand feet, a flying object was heading southbound.  It had a brilliant, twinkling, deep orange light.  It appeared to be about the same size as an airplane.  It actually looked like a commercial airplane on fire.

We opened the porch door to listen for any sound emanating from the object.  There was none.

It was in our view for about 1 minute.  Then it disappeared.

Red pulsating object visualized by my wife and I over Babylon NY, moving due South and abruptly disappearing..

I was watching television with my wife at approximately 22:30hrs, when I noticed a pulsating light in the sky from my window. This amorphous light was moving due South. Its altitude was approximately 3000-5000 feet.

I asked my wife to look at it, and she thought it looked like an aircraft on fire. We turned out the lights, and then went to our porch outside our bedroom to follow it. There was no sound coming from the object. It continued in a straight line from North to South and then spontaneously disappeared. There was no further sighting after that. This event lasted approximately 1 minute.

Having some flight experience, I found it odd that there was no sound for an object that was at such a low altitude. The light emitted by this craft was red, and slightly pulsating.

I was unable to ascertain any specific shape to the craft, but it was small. There was no cloud cover to account for the immediate disappearance of the craft. It did not change altitude during our sighting. It was not seen again after that.

UFO Sighting, I saw an Orange ball that appeared on the side of my house moving in a north west direction. It was a bright orange color and had no other lights from the time I first saw it until the time it vanished it moved with in a 90 degree angle. The wind at the time was 0-2 mph according to the national weather service blowing northeast. The object vanished right as it seemed it was about to collide with another air craft seen in my video that had blinking lights you will notice it in my video.

Whatever it was, that I saw did not seem normal.

2 sperate sighting I will never forget!

February 26, 2012: Multiple UFO Sighting from Long Island I am from Long Island NY. I have several sightings to report they are from different years and the reason I am reporting several at once is because I did not know there was a national UFO reporting center to submit claims too as I have always believed up until my first sighting that UFO’S were simply "TOP SECRET MILITARY AIRCRAFT." The first sighting I ever had changed my mind in the blink of an eye and I have the image of what I saw that night burned in my memory for ever. Being experienced with airplanes and how much air traffic is over me on a daily basis I am well aware of what a regular plane or helicopter looks like and these sightings were without a doubt neither of them.

Sighting #1- it was January 5th 2008 and I was traveling on the long island express way going west bound at about 65-70 mph. I was in the car with my older sister and 3 of my friends in the back seat of my car. It was a pretty cloudy night and this is why I knew what I saw was not any type of aircraft I am familiar with or currently exist. I glanced out my window for a second and just so happened to glance up at the sky and I noticed what appeared to be a white ball of light below the clouds moving at a speed I thought was very strange. JFK and Laguardia airports are both in the area and if I had to guess an estimate I would say the lowest clouds that night were about 5-7 thousand feet.

I am experienced with air traffic and planes as I have 50 hours in a Cessna 152 and have been obsessed with the military since I was a kid. I am well aware that around major airports there is a limit on air speeds depending on the class of airspace you are in when flying by or over them. The white ball of light I witness had to be between 3500-4500 feet in the air and was moving at a speed much faster than regulation speed allowed if I had to guess I would say it was moving at about 500-600 knots.

For the probably 20-30 second I saw this object I noticed it had no strobe lights and did not seem to be flying in a traffic pattern consistent with the airport. I found all of this very strange and I would of never guess what was going to happen next as it seem to have opened a new world to me on what might really be going on. As I was looking at the object moving at an incredible speed it seemed to pulsate once as it appeared the light got brighter for a split second and then it quickly dashed off into the clouds at a speed that did not seem possible and I did not see it again. The 4 people I was with this night driving all saw the same thing I did and when it dashed off into the clouds as fast as it did the car went silent for about 15 minutes as we were in disbelief at what we just saw happen and till this day my friends talk about it very little as I think it scared or weirded them out to a level they didn’t think was possible.

My second sighting was on july 26th 2011 this time located from my house in Suffolk county long island at about 1130 at night. I was outside in my court as I usually am during the summer with my step sister her bf and 2 of my friends. My step sister noticed this bright light coming from the north to use a landmark it appeared to be coming in a direction from the long island sound and straight down as I live on the south end of long island so it would be heading toward the atlantic ocean. When I first looked at the light I noticed it I could not really get an idea of how fast it was really moving as it appeared to slow down and then speed up just a bit at times. As it was coming south I knew that sometimes the head lights on the bigger planes are so bright you can’t see the nav and strobe lights until they get directly over you or are moving away. As it started getting closer I knew something was wrong as there was no noise of any type of jet or other type of airplane engine. Also is it got directly over us there were no strobes or nav lights and the brightness of the light did not change it stayed consistently bright from every angle.

As it got over us it also seemed to completely stop for about 5 or 6 second and then continued south and we followed it until it got over the tree line and we could no longer see it. I don’t know what I saw in either of these cases but they were certainly not aircraft from this country unless they have something I don’t know about. If that is the case though I don’t see why the government would be hiding this great technology and not using to their full advantage. I do know one thing for sure though something was indeed flying these objects and it had to of had great intelligence for the way they were moving. I hope one day someone can explain what me and my friends saw.

I could see 5 lights around the bottom, closest shape would be a rectangle but it isn't. Cannot photograph it, did not come out on digital camera took at least 7 pictures. I saw a plane fly way beneath it in a landing pattern and it wasn't nearly as bright but I could see all the lights and colors on the plane. the other craft remained steady lights circling around the bottom and top fluxing light in a triangle towards the sky. It seems to be moving upwards for the last 20 minutes but so slow you can't tell except it's now at about 11 oclock, you can't see it moving but it is in a different location in the sky but still southeast looking due south from North Babylon Long Island New York USA...It looked at about 8oclock at 5:49am est.

Pulsating light/saucer seen darting over Cedar Beach, Babylon, NY

This case has a total of two witnesses. We were parked on the south side of Ocean Parkway, half a mile west of the entrance to Cedar Beach.

No lights on the highway made for outstanding sky visibility, so we were stargazing for a while. I saw a regular shooting star that lasted half a second, with a standard quick tail streak, directly north, at a good 80 to 90 degrees above the horizon.

Then, about five minutes later, at 60-degrees upward from the horizon, and directly northeast, a pulsating light approximately the width of 1/10th the moon, very bright / white - began traveling in a southeast direction in the sky, maintaining altitude. The light was definitely not relative to standard aircraft lights including helicopters. It was pulsating every two or three seconds, switching on, then dimming itself off. This effect lasted approximately two minutes.

At about five minutes later, we both saw what we first suspected was going to be a shooting star - except, it had no tail streak at all, and it lasted for far too long, and seemed to slow down gradually as it finished. It lasted about three or four seconds. The object zipping across the sky was saucer shaped, in a way. There was a red/beige tint to the object, and it appeared to have an outer circle, and a more solid inner circle. Object was at most – a fifth the diameter of the moon (outer circle), but gradually dimmed into nothingness. It’s also suspicious because the beginning of the path of this object happened to intersect with the trajectory of the original pulsating UFO’s path.

Five minutes after this effect, that same pulsating light began moving in a western direction, from exactly the same spot that saucer-like shooting star dropped in the sky. This lasted a few more minutes until it dimmed out beyond our visibility.

I was outside having a cigarette at my friend's apartment (outside), then I saw a bright green disc zoom by, at about 220 degrees from my position (I was facing north). It sped by at a fast speed, then disappeared before it was even out of view! I initially thought it to be a comet, but it occurred to me that it had neither a tail, nor a bluish hue. Also having seen a comet on multiple occasions, the explanation did not satisfy me. For a brief moment, I thought it might have been a firefly, but they don't fly around in 20 degree weather on a December night.

I now have little doubt in my mind that this was a UFO! I searched out whether or not people had similar sightings, then I came upon this website.

By the way, I live not too far from Montauk and Port Washington, both of them home to naval bases, and I've heard speculation of other weird happenings in those areas.

The object that I witnessed reminded me of when I saw Halley's Comet, but at a very low point of the night sky.

I witnessed a sphere shaped object while looking west traveling from southeast to northwest in a straight path. The object was 3/4 the size of a full moon estimated at 20 thousand miles up. The object was extremely bright and glowed with a light blue hue at the center and surrounded by bright yellow which left a trail of bright white. The object seemed big and very low to the surface of the earth. It seemed to travel slow for something that appeared to be pretty low. This was very similar to Halley's Comet. Which I remember viewing it for 3 to 5 minutes across the sky. This was very similar but only lasted 3 to 5 seconds.

I woke up at 3:00 in the morning and as I always do, I looked out at the night sky. My house is very high and so it is a natural thing to look at the stars as that is all you can see from the second level. I immediately said to myself, wow, a shooting star. How lucky to be up for five minutes and see on. Upon further inspection, it never continued to fall. It just kept going around and around and from my vantage poine, I could make out at least a red and white light going around the center. I stayed there for some time trying to figure out just what I saw when I realized that I could make out three stationary objects forming a sort of triangle around the moving object. I left the room, came back and refocused. I even called my husband who saw the object but didn't have his glasses on to confirm my beliefs. I compared this 'object' with everything else in the sky and NOTHING else was moving except this. After about 15 minutes, I went to bed. I rewoke two hours later, and it was gone, however, ALL OF THE OTHER STARS WERE STILL OUT THERE.

My girlfriend and I saw a formation of 3 lights fly overhead and re-enter space one by one.

At approx. 23:20 on the evening of July the 6th, 2000, My girlfreind and I were out on a walk to enjoy the night air. We walked around the block she lives on (It's large, about a 1/2 mile walk ), and came to rest on an adjacent street corner. All night we had been amazed at how clear the sky was, noting the usually hazy horizon. It was uncommonly clear on this night. We saw three lights, star-like in appearance, flying northeast at 12 0'clock high. They appeared to be in a formation, with the leader forming the peak of an arrowhead. the wingmen never really faultered, but seemed more in unison with the leader's sways and dips. It continued ( at which my girl and I both concluded) must have been an incredible rate of speed, before each one slowed down seperatly and faded off, one by one into space.

My Friend was riding me home on her bicycle at night when I was approximately 10 years old. When we arrived at my home , but still were in the street, I looked up and saw a round UFO with lights circling the perimeter of it, I seem to think they were colored lights.I would consider it to be a crude UFO more like a Lost in Space variety. It was hovering above us, Actually very close. I would say about only 4 stories above us. It made no noise. I looked for a minute until it hit me that it was a UFO and with that, I jumped off my friend's bicycle , ran to my front door , and started pounding on the door screaming for my parents to come out . No one else saw it. The next day my father told me he read in the paper that a weather balloon was out on Long Island , and that is what I must have seen. I believed he was lying to me, and still know that it was a UFO, Government or otherwise. I also feel that if I did not look up and see it , some possible harm may h! ave come to us.
