I saw 4 lights in a disk form hovering and wobbling over the trees and then going down into the woods

I was working overnight at Iris Farms and was about to clean cages. I stepped half way out the door and saw 4 bright lights hovering over the trees. They were moving in a way like whatever the lights were attached to were wobbling or trying to stay steady. I froze watching it because I was scared. It slowly went down into the woods. I was so scared I hid in a bathroom and quit once the morning light came. I never believed in ufo until I saw that.

Bright light 2-3 miles away with rapid-cycling colored lights

Date: August 19, 2019 Time: approx. 23:00 EST Location: Ulster County, NY, low in the sky between Burlingham, NY, and Walker Valley, NY, Sighting area: about 10 mins West of Pine Bush, NY, looking West Sighting duration 5-10 mins.

Description: Seen just above the tree tops at a distance of approx. 2-3 miles, a bright flashing light, rapidly changing colors. Larger and brighter than a star, and not flashing regular FAA lights (as I observed the object a normal plane did fly overhead for contrast). Lots of stars out, too, but this looked nothing like a star.

Mediocre quality iPhone video taken that, at least, shows the rapid cycling of the flashing lights. Viewed through binoculars, however, the distant object almost appeared spherical, and the different colored rapid-cycling lights were much more obvious. The object appeared motionless until it drifted away south and was gone from view behind tall trees nearby.

The picture is a bit shaky but you can see a big bright object flying over that barn. I estimated it to be about 4000 ft up. It was sort of saucer-shaped with a black bottom and a bright white dome top. It had no flashing lights, no red lights, no blue lights, or anything like that.

I was driving along, and it went out of sight behind the tree line.

I'm sending the photo that I took, and a pic that I created on Paint. I drew the picture before looking up any other photos because I didn't want my memory to be corrupted.

Two glowing oblong shapes traveling in formation, flying at a tilted angle

Son was playing with neighbor's kids in the backyard, when they all observed two large oblong fuzzy shapes that appeared to be glowing yellow-orange from within. Tilted at about a 20-degree angle, the two objects flew slowly and silently in formation from north to south. Son and friends observed objects for a few seconds, but when my son ran around behind a tree to take a picture, objects had disappeared.

Rapidly descending craft with large red and white lights entered residential area at very low altitude

Driving towards Burlingham Rd coming home from work at 8:15 or so in Pine Bush, NY, April 3, 2014.

Saw a large series of five lights. White small, large red, white small, large red, white small, arranged like they would be on a plane. Except they were much larger, all on one craft, not separate lights. It was about a mile or less up and it was descending rapidly. I thought it was a plane about to crash, except I kept telling myself planes don’t have lights so big they touch each other.

It got to a few hundred feet and made an abrupt turn to the right and disappeared behind a house. I came to the end of the road and made a left turn, went a few feet and looked over my right shoulder to see where it was.

It was about 100’ high or less, in the backyard of a house right where I made the turn. The lights were still visible in the same configuration. This should have been the back of the craft, yet it looked the same.

I had a brief thought that it was some type of radio controlled toy, but it was too large approx 20’ across or larger, and the lights were so big that they touched, so 5 lights covered a span of 20’ or so. I drove home resisting the urge to follow it.

Odd lights in the sky over Pine Bush: commercial or extraterrestrial?

This morning while driving south down NY route 302 I rounded a bend on that hilly and wooded road, and saw in the sky above the trees three widely-spaced white lights with a flashing red light underneath. My first thought at seeing the flashing light was "OK, FAA regulation lights" and didn't immediately pull over to really have a look (plus I was doing 60mph). But when I rounded the next bend about 5 seconds later and had a view of the same patch of sky, the object was gone.

So I started to really analyze what I saw for those 5 seconds before. If that was a man-made craft of some sort, it would've had a very long wingspan based on the positioning of the lights. Plus, the sky was just lightening for dawn, yet I could see no discernible fuselage, certainly not a full-size jet with a large wingspan, nor could I hear any aircraft propulsion.

Furthermore, those lights were far below normal commercial airspace, more at about private and small aircraft altitude. If it was a large transport flying into Stewart Air Base 20 miles to the east (Newburgh, NY), why did it have lights already on and why was it flying north and not east? Also, those lights were not nearly as bright as commercial landing lights. If it was a small private plane or ultra-light from Orange County (NY) Airport to the south, why would it be flying in the dark at 5:30am, with such a long wingspan, and traveling fast enough to disappear in 5 seconds? I am an art director at a leading aviation and aerospace magazine, and am well-informed in latest aircraft and UAV technologies. There was just something too odd about the lights I saw this morning. Plus, with Pine Bush's long history of sightings (the town itself has even adopted a "gray" alien character as the official mascot!), anything is possible.

Huge rectangle flying object traveling slowly from SE to NW

I was on my deck when I noticed a huge rectangle UFO traveling slowly from the SE direction right over my house, and it continued in the NW direction. I called my wife over, who was also with my 7-year-old daughter, so she could confirm what I was seeing. We were all shocked at what we were seeing. My dogs were barking, and my daughter was so scared she started crying. It was less than 500 feet above the ground. It was so big that it was blocking out the stars in the sky as it was flying by. There was also no sound at all. I tried to video record it and take a picture of it as well, but it was just too dark to see anything. I kept looking at it until it went out of view. After I went back in my house I drew exactly what I saw.

Orange orbs seen flying across the sky on Dec.25, 2012 in Pine Bush, N.Y.

Our strange sightings started out Christmas evening at about 8:15 p.m. heading west towards Pine Bush, N.Y. on 17K. About five minutes before we reached Pine bush I yelled to my daughter to look at the falling star coming from the North ( left side of us).

I slowed down to view this with her. It appeared really big and was glowing really bright blue at the tip and around the sides and out of the back. We thought for sure it would crash and catch something on fire. We waited and heard and saw nothing after it was out of our range of view.

Later that evening at approximately 9:30 p.m. my daughter and I were driving East on 17K through Pine Bush, N.Y. when we saw about 15 dark orange orbs flying in a diagonal pattern across the sky starting above the tree line. We pulled over to the side of the road and opened the windows and heard absolutely no sound coming from them. We dismissed them from being helicopters or another form of aircraft by the way they wer! e almost hovering in the sky traveling slowly in an upwards diagonal without any sound being emitted. They were traveling from north to south in staggered pairs of 2 and 3 orbs with almost an even space between them. Once they seemed to get to a certain height they began to travel along a horizontal path across the sky in front of us and then one by one they began to just disappear at the exact same point. We watched the very last one and did not take our eyes off of it the entire time and sure enough the same thing happened. I then drove down a bit on 17K hoping to see any trace or perhaps there was an obstruction or cloud hiding them. Unfortunately, these orbs seemed to just vanish. I don't know if these two occurrences were related but I can't help to think they were.

We were driving north bound on route 302 in Pine bush on Christmas night at 8.45pm when we noticed glowing lights to our left as we drove towards Middletown. We saw at least 12 -20 lights hovering above the tree line in a Y formation. There was other cars stopped on the road also looking at this encounter. We were all pretty scared, looked like nothing we have ever saw before.after i minute it just vanished, we drove to our local police dept to report what we had just seen.

Flying rectangle over Pine Bush, NY late last September?

It was late at night last September, and I was at our family's cabin outside of Pine Bush, NY (home to much UFO activity in previous years). I stepped outside for some fresh air and to look at the stars as it was a very clear and dark night. After a short while, I noticed a strange flying object appear in my line of sight (a lot of trees on the property), moving in a straight line northeast to southwest. It flew at medium-to-low altitude and at a consistent rate of medium-fast speed, nothing outrageous. But what was strange was that it seemed to be rectangular, with approximately 6-9 dim reddish-amber lights placed at odd positions around the craft (not symmetrical), and it flew entirely silent through the still, cold, autumn night air.

The Orange County Municipal airport is about 10 miles away, and we see all kinds of private aircraft and ultralight homebuilt planes fly over during the day. But they all make plenty of standard aircraft engine noise, and at night, always have the required symmetrical lighting and flashing strobe light. Though I did witness this in the dark of night, the rectangular craft did not remotely appear to be any kind of conventional aircraft whatsoever. Most importantly, it was totally silent with strange non-regulation lights.

I am a 48-year old artist, musician, graphic designer, and arts educator from New York City, so I feel like I am visually literate. I am a fairly recent newcomer to this small summertime bungalow co-op here in Pine Bush, though my wife's family have been members for 20+ years. While I have not witnessed any previous UFO activity in the 5 summers I have been coming here, nearly all long-term co-op members have UFO stories of their own to tell from back when this whole area was a UFO hotspot. One woman and her ex- both insist that about 15 years ago they were physically restrained in their beds during a "close encounter" and witnessed a saucer take off out of the neighbor's field.

I am only filing this report now as I recently discovered your organization and web site, and just today read someone else's account of a flying rectangle.

On July 28th of 2003, I took picture's with a new canera(Toshiba,3.2 megapixel,6x zoom)I just got and wanted to check it out. From my lawn I took a picture of a large plane passing over my house,exactly several pictures for a span of 30 minutes. My best friend and I were taking 2 friends home, it was me and him and the 2 young ladies. We are driving on North St. approaching Red Mills Rd. in Pine Bush right before the curve heading towards the town park we see a light and we joke about a UFO. As we get closer the light is different, not like a plane at all which we are used to seeing because of a good deal of air traffic from time to time so we are used to seeing planes and the lights they have. I tell my friend to go straight onto Dubois instead of staying on North which turns into Red Mills Rd. and from there we turn left onto Edwards Rd. where the object is getting closer. At where Red Mills Rd. and Edwards Rd. meet we stop the car and all get out as the object is low and is going overhead. It is your typical black triangle with red lights, dead silent, not more than a 1000 ft. it seemed above our heads and moving very slowly. It traveled slowly south east and slowly disappeared. It is something I will never forget just like the encounter I had in the late 80s in Ellenville, NY.

I have had other "experiences" so to speak as I lived in Walker Valley NY which is in between Ellenville and Pine Bush on Rte. 52, one experience was a feeling of paralysis when I was laying in bed one night and then as if I were laying in bed I was very high up in the sky floating above Rte. 52 looking down at homes at night heading in the direction of Pine Bush, possible dream or something else I just do not know.

Monkeys where they shouldn't be, and others saw them too.

In 2000, I worked for a Land Surveyor. I was driving with my boss, on our way to a job in New Paltz, NY that morning.

About 2 miles from the "center" of the somewhat-famous Pine Bush, NY sightings...I saw a dead animal on the road up ahead. At first I thought it was a cat, but as we got closer I saw that it wasn't.

Then one specific animal came into mind. I didn;t mention it because I thought my boss would think I was crazy, but then he said it for me. He asked, "What the heck was that, a monkey?".

At the time I didn't realize that a book had been written about Pine bush, and mentions several witness-accounts of Lemurs or other monkeys in the area.

Red/orange orb seen hovering over trees lighting the tips of said trees before vanishing in motion to the left. Pine Bush NY 1998

In Pine Bush NY on West Searsville Road I was among a number of Sky watchers in attendance where a number of sightings were made that evening.

I was looking towards a row of trees about sixty yards away when I saw an orb of red orange light hover over the tips of the evergreen trees on the ridge near the road. The orb shed light on the tops of the trees below it. I estimate the size of the orb to be five feet in diameter.

It hovered over the trees moving slowly from right to left and then zipped out of sight after moving there for fifteen seconds.

This particular sighting was verified by two other people at the location.

Strange creatures in the woods near UFO hot spots

I was in High School at the time, living in a tiny "1950's style" town. A "kooky" friend of mine had reported seeing a large "alien blob" of some sort about 1/4 mile behind the town firehouse in the middle of the woods. I had to laugh at first. No one really believed it.

He kept talking about it for several days, and finally I asked him to show me. He did! It was about 5ft across, and 2.5 feet high. Very irregular. It looked like a large mound of preserved animal remains. It had no bones. No birds, no bugs, worms or maggots were in/on it. It didn't smell either. I could see the pattern of veins in the membrane. I

poked it with a stick, and it was tough and leathery. It was also pale greyish-white in color. At the time I had no ideas about it, and I sort of forgot about it. Later I read two books, one about UFO sightings in the same area...and another about secret govm't experiments with anti-gravity. It seems that this is the effect that this technology has on living tissue. The authors of the books desribed things almost identical.

Within a year or two of my experience, another friend said he saw a UFO (black triangle) about 1 mile from this location, still other friends reported seeing strange animals in the woods.

There was a very large object with bright yellow lights going across, it was moving slowly for about 7 seconds, then vanished.

There was a very large object in the sky, shaped like cigar shaped rock with many rectangular yellow lights going across the object.. It was above the clouds the lights were very bright. This was witnessed by 6 kids on bicycles and at least 2 adults.
