Direction: Easterly, around 54 degrees N-E. The second sighting of this object was around 60 degrees N-E (about 45 minutes later).

We witnessed this while laying in the hammock in our backyard watching birds and planes fly by.

Shape
Difficult to define an exact shape, perhaps a right-angle isosceles triangle. It almost looked like a large bird at first, hovering in place as they can do in a heat vortex, but this object was larger and we couldn't reconcile its exact shape, size, and color with any bird or vehicle, especially as airplanes and jets flew across the sky at the time of this sighting. When I first noticed it, I said to my wife, "Look at that hawk way up there hovering!" but immediately second-guessed my idea that it was a hawk or large bird because it remained motionless.

Color
Edges appeared a bit fuzzy at first but then became sharp/more defined. Blackish, dark red while it was hovering. When moving, silver and white in color, streaking across the sky at an incredible speed.

Additional notes
Almost the entire time I was wearing polarized sunglasses. When I took them off, I could still see the object. With the glasses on, it lost its dark red hue and looked more charcoal than black. This object was hovering for a few minutes, staying almost motionless as a jet flew over its vicinity. When the jet moved further away, the object, in a very fast sequence, appeared to tilt or turn, then appeared cylindrical in shape, losing its black/dark red color, and like liquid-silver & white streaked across the sky with incredible velocity. The steak was only visible for a second and the object was gone.

About 15 Minutes Later:
A white orb, extremely high up, traveled across the sky from west to east. I could not see it without my sunglasses on.

About 10 Minutes Later:
Another white orb, perhaps even higher (or smaller in size), traveled across the sky in the exact same way (west to east). Both of these orbs couldn't be seen without my sunglasses on and they shared the same characteristics (constant speed, no wavering or anything, appeared solid and spherical, soft-white in color, and perhaps illuminated only by ambient light, traveling west to east).

45 Minutes later:
The original object appeared again but not in the same position. Black in color this time. Hovered for a minute, then moved slowly out of sight to be obscured by our treeline. The total time was about a minute, maybe less. I'll note that both times we didn't see where this object came from.

A bright light flying low with no sound. Moved quickly out of line of sight making a sharp turn suddenly before disappearing from view

It was late in the afternoon, the sun had set when I saw this bright object flying low at a slow pace. There is an airport near my neighborhood, so I suspected it was an airplane getting ready to land. Upon closer inspection I realized that the object flying above was not making any noise/sound of any kind. When the object got closer it became obvious it was not a plane. I procured my phone from my pocket to take a picture of it. As I snapped a picture of the object it appeared to have stopped moving. I was surprised by this and then tried to get a second picture of it while it was motionless above me, but my phone started to glitch. In my haste to take another picture I started to just tap at random on my phone hoping to catch what I was seeing. I saw the object come to a complete stop and it became brighter then quickly turned in an upwards position and flew away. It arched up and over flying away from me; then suddenly before it was completely out of sight it turned sharply to the left and disappeared. Leaving an orange/yellow tail behind in its wake. The whole incident took about 1-2 minutes. This was not the first time I had seen this orb of light before, although it was the first time I was able to take a photo of it. I hadn't realized there was a video of it until I looked over my phone pics and became aware that I must of hit the video button in my haste by mistake. The video is about 3 seconds long, although the object is only in frame for about 1.5milliseconds-very fast moving orb of light! If its a man made object it was an amazing sight to see, but if it was unknown to mankind then it was incredible!! Either way what I saw was interesting and exciting to see.

1 very bright light looking south appears two nights in a row at dusk, no stars yet visible. Upon looking closer at it with image stabiizing binoculars, lights off to either side of the light become visible and possible outline of craft.

Later noticed that there were 3 other colorful lights in sky in a triangle formation around the main craft at maybe 3 miles equidistant. Estimate craft(?) at 2 miles up. Just sits there, no movement for hours. Definitely not a star and lights off to either side of main light unmistakable with binoculars if you hold steady enough.

Location would estimate at above rt 95 Walpole or Foxboro.

May be there again tonight??

Never before have i witnessed something like this. Wow!!

While smoking outside with my mother and stepfather on the front patio. It was raining and the moon was cresect and waxing. There appeared two brilliant tear shaped crafts right along side the moon but seemed much closer to the ground. Almost like in front of the moon but at a lower altitude. Maybe about 20 000 feet. I've been a private pilot for 14 years so I have a good sense for AGL. The two craft were bright pink in color. They hovered for about 45 seconds and then simultaneously took a sharp left at 90 degrees and shot straight up out of view. Traveling at several thousands of miles per hour. They left no streak of light. They just took off.

The strangest thing is, it left a smell. The whole neighborhood smelled like a sweet fruity smell for about 12 hours??? Really strange and crazy. I thought i should report. My first report ever.

4 whitish objects in formation in night sky.

I was outside looking at the night sky when I noticed 4 round objects slowly moving southward in the sky. They were lined up equidistant from each other and initially I thought it was one larger object. They appeared to be illuminated from the bottom in a whitish light.

There were no blinking lights to indicate an airplane or helicopter which I observe frequently. I did not hear any noise or sound but they may have been too far away.

As they passed thru the sky the furthest light from me moved slightly away and behind the other 3 lights. At this point all four lights disappeared at the same time and did not reappear while I was watching.

I frequently watch the night sky and observe the stars. I have witnessed meteors, comets, “shooting stars” , the International Space Station as while as search lights and aircraft. Whatever I witnessed was not something I could identify.

I am a female my early 50s and have been in healthcare and healthcare management for nearly 25 years. I have a B.S. in Business/Healthcare Management as well as two Associate’s of Science degrees. I own my home in a suburb about 13 miles south of Boston.

Strange Object Flying Over Norwood

I had just got out of work at 5 p.m. January 6th 2012. As I was driving home in between the time of 5:30 and 5:50 p.m. I had passed 93 South to merge back to Route 1 in Massachusetts. When I started to get close to exit 11B, I saw a string of lights in the sky in the top left corner of my windshield. The lights where in a straight line and flashed. I would say it looked like an old camera flash going off in the far distance. The row of lights where about 10 individual lights that went went off at the same time.

At first I thought it was a plane and I continued driving getting closer to exit 11B. Because of the time, traffic became congested and my car was going maybe 5 mph if at all. As I looked up all of a sudden there was a huge craft of some some sort floating right across the highway from my left and crossed into the woods to my right. What was strange about this object was that it wasn't hovering like a helicopter or pushing air to keep itself up.

The object was steady when floating across and it never wavered. The object floated right across the street with no disturbance to any cars. The object was moving so low and so slow that I was able to see what it looked like from its underside.

There were 3 white lights in the form of an Isosceles triangle, one blue orb in the middle which color looked like a car high beam blue, and a small red dot near the white light near the top. Besides the lights, I could not see what the object was made out of. It looked darker than black. It looked like a moving shadow. Light did not reflect on its surface.

The object was rather large in comparison to my sedan. The object was as big as two sedans parked next to each other. The object was no higher than the exit sign above me, which I estimate to be somewhere between 100 to 200 feet in the air.

I was in too much shock to take any video with my phone.

Once the object moved into the woods the object came to a halt then just started to flash in the wooded area to my right.

As traffic started to move again, I continued to move forward while the object above ground continued to flash.

bright blue-white light moving to fast and then gone?

We were driving down the local highway when the bright blue and white light caught our eyes in the sky straight ahead. It lasted for 5 to 7 seconds, what ever it was it was moving faster then anything I’ve seen. As we continued to drive north we noticed white smoke trail, about 2 miles long and no visible plane in sight.

The only logical thing I can think of is blue ice burning up from a much higher plane. I believe planes are not allowed to drop waste from the air?

Cylinder, Amber Colored, no blinking lights, moving from South-to-North, extremely clear night.

I am a resident of Stanly County, I have a lake house located at ((address deleted)) Lane, Norwood, North Carolina, 28128 (Randalls Church area of lake).

On the evening of July 4th, at approx 10:15pm, I returned from watching fireworks out on the lake. (I don't drink), I was putting my boat up when a 'amber colored light' caught my eye, moving from south-to-north. I yelled at my wife to look up, she did. We both saw an object, amber in color, the shape of a cylinder .. it was a darker amber on the edges and as you looked toward the center, the it was still amber but more lighter than the edges. There were no red and green light, there were no blinking lights at all. There was no sound. From the time I saw it moving toward me, then right above me, then on to the north and then out-of-sight it took about five minutes. The Stanly County Airport in New London, NC is the closest airport. Is there any way their radar can be checked for that time and see if you can see any thing, perhaps a blimp that passed over my address between 22:15pm - 22:30pm ?.. There were hundreds of boats out on the lake (Lake Tillery) on that evening and there had to be hundreds of other people who saw the same thing I did.

Sighting and message from an alien commander

I couldn't sleep and went to my back door. I was wide awake as if it was day. I opened the door and looked at the sky. There were no clouds and Venus and the moon were visible. I was staring at Venus when a bright light appeared just above it. It was brighter than Venus and moved over next to moon. When the UFO came to a stop, I recieved a telepathic message from the ship. My mind seemed to "warp" from my body straight to the UFO. I could see everything along the way, including the sheer size of the UFO. The UFO had three engines, and dozens of side guns. What I saw was a warship, hiding behind our moon by the time my mind reached it. My mind entered its bridge and came to a stop. A tall lizard-like alien stepped out in front of me. It was wearing boots, a cape, and a kind of uniform. It had a number of badge-like items attatched to it's uniform, just like a Marine officer wears badges. It spoke in it's own language to me, while it held a device. My guess is the device translated what it spoke for me to understand. However, the only words translated were the last two. They were "not afraid." It nodded to me and walked back to the bridge. My mind began to leave the warship, while it began to turn away from the moon. The warship created a small wormhole, flew into it, and was gone. My mind returned to my body, and I closed the door. I went back to bed suddenly tired. Over the past three years, I have experienced telepathic messages from the same alien. These messages are actually part of the same message told to me three years ago. The messages include information on alien scouts on Earth exploring certain parts of the planet. Another part of the message said that they want Earth to be an ally with them. They are exploring our planet to spot possible defensive positions against another "alien threat" to both them and us.

Three dots forming a triangle, Bright gold and glowing white. Moved up and down and sideways,slowly.Stopped and hovered then disappeared.

there were 2 triangle shaped pods and one big dot.one triangle shaped and the dot flew to the side,went back,and went down and dissapered.the other triangle just sat there and went forward and then moved back.We all went back about 15 minutes later and the dot one came back really slow and just hovered.then it went down and dissapered.

18 Bright fast "Pearl" like UFOs in group between Philadelphia & Delawre crossed I-95

They were a ultra-bright circle or point of pure white light looking roughly 2 mm at a great altitude between and behind the clouds. Bright enough to easily see threw the clouds. They had no real formation more like a mob going in same direction from the Delaware river direction in broad ark going West. against a strong wind, with one trailing slightly behind the others going extremely fast from horizon to horizon.

I had time to spot them, point and yell (did not see anyone else) for about 10 seconds before they were behind the 3 floor tall Victoria twin houses with high pointed roofs roughly 4 doors away from me on the sidewalk. Then I ran that distance to my house into the back yard in time to see them from behind briefly. They were still in a broad arc but the direction was changing more to the North.

Norwood is South of Philadelphia PA. about half way to the Delaware state line off I 95. I have been watching the sky often for 30 years and have never seen anything close to this except in old VHS video taken in Mexico in 90's the UFOs were called "Pearls" or string of pearls. They looked almost exactly the same. I will probably remember this clearly forever. but they were so high and fast I don't think anyone else in my general area got a good look due to narrow streets in this urban/suburban area with 3 and 4 story buildings everyplace.

Cigar shaped,lighted object.

A few friends and I were hanging out one night on the railroad tracks when something along the horizon caught our attention.It appeared at first,to be just hovering.We could see two bright lights,and some sort of oval shape between them.Now,if you're standing with your arm extended in front of you towards the sky,and held your thumb and forefinger about 3 inches apart,that's how far apart the lights appeared .I can't give an approximate size,other then to say it was big.The lights were nearly as bright as the full moon.Anyway,it hovered for about a second.Also,there was planes approaching this object from the east.We noticed two of em as the flew directly overhead of us.As quick as we saw this object,it shot off to the south and out of view.We thought it was gone.Then,within seconds,it came flying back into view,to the same spot(or fairly close)it was.There it hovered for a few seconds,then shot off to the north at a fast speed till it was totally out of sight.We watched for about another hour,thinking it might come back.It never did.I can't say for sure it was extraterrestrial.But,it certainly wasn't a plane.It was moving way to fast,and the lights were too bright.I've always wondered what the hell it was.There was no sound at all.I would think something man made,that was that big,would make some noise,as did the planes flying overhead.

Ball of Fire in Field and White Lights Darting in the Sky

I never knew where to report this-so it's from a long time ago.

Back in 1988 my family was woken up in our house because of a bright light. We went outside-my mom, dad, and myself. We lived in the country. Up in the field from our house was what looked like a ball of fire-or like the sun had fallen into the field. There was so much light that it looked like daylight in the field. My parents are huge skeptics-but they couldn't explain this one.

I'll never forget it as long as I live. NOTHING in this world looks like what we saw. We never spoke about it again.

Also, there may have been one other time I saw something-but I'm less certain about this event. I was driving Hwy 65 in Missouri toward Springfield, Missouri. In the sky was a white light that would dart around really fast. Apparently, I'm not the only one that saw this because people were actually pulling over on the side of the road to look at the sky-the people driving slowed down to like 10 mph. It was just a bright white light that would dark around-I don't know if this was something else or what. This would have been in the Summer of 2003.

It was around 1 in the morning. My mother, sister and myself were on the front porch of or house. Our house is 1 out of 2 houses on our street.

Hovering above the electric lines following the rail road tracks were UFO's. First 2, then 2 more.

We had seen fast moving lights in the sky just seconds earlier, and was a bit stunned when they appear across the road from our house. The electric lines shot out sparks for a few seconds. We ran into the house and hid.

It seems like 5 minutes, but it was hours later when drifted out of our daze.

We never talked about it all these years.

I talked to my sister about it a year ago, and she was very nervous to speak of it.
