Weird sighting in woods

so last week, i was hiking in the woods near my house. it was getting close to dark, and i was just walking when i saw something strange in the sky. at first, i thought it might be a drone or a plane, but the way it was moving was unlike anything i’ve seen before. it was darting around, changing directions super fast, in a way no plane or drone could. then, it stopped in midair, hovered for a second, and shot off at an insane speed, faster than i thought possible. there was no noise at all. i even thought it might have been a helicopter, but there was no sound. after that, it just disappeared behind the trees. i stood there, staring at the spot, completely freaked out.

when i looked at my phone to check the time, i realized a full 30 minutes had passed and i couldn’t remember where that time went. it was like i had lost track of time completely, and i couldn’t figure out what happened in those missing minutes. i started freaking out and thought maybe i was just imagining things, but i didn’t want to tell my parents because i’m 15, and i knew they’d probably think i was just being dramatic or making it up. so, i decided to look up if anyone else had seen anything like it. i did some research online, and when i looked up reports of weird sightings, it said if you see something like this, you should report it. so, here i am, reporting it. it might sound crazy, but i know what i saw, and it wasn’t normal. now i can’t stop thinking about it, and i don’t know what to make of it.

Flew from ocean over land. Split into two craft

Tonight around dusk, I witnessed something extraordinary over Masonboro Sound. I was out enjoying the evening when I saw a single flying object come off the ocean. It didn't have the typical sound of any aircraft I'm familiar with; it hummed quietly, unlike the distinct sounds of high or low bypass engines, turbojets, turbo prop, inline or even propellers of any type. What's more, it wasn't showing up on any flight tracker apps. The real kicker was when this object suddenly split into two - right before my eyes. There was no explosion, just a seamless division. Minutes after this event, a military AWACS flew by, which seemed to be trailing it.

I'm quite versed in aircraft identification, but this left me scratching my head. Could be some experimental drone or tech, but it definitely wasn't your standard UFO scenario.

Just sharing what I saw, and I'm still trying to make sense of it." I truly don't know what's real or fake anymore. I know what I just saw. The popping noise at 6 seconds was coming from whatever those things were.

Bright light came, stopped, pulsed its light, and took off at insane speed. SW heading NE

Was walking my dog when a bright light came in from SW. At first thought it was a plane's landing lights, but the craft stopped moving. It started hovering in roughly the same area for a minute. The light went dark and I could just barely make out something (Possibly went behind a cloud). It turned its lights back on, began moving again slowly, turned the lights back off, and I thought I saw something shoot off in the same direction. I stayed at my window but didn't see the light again after 10 minutes. This is my second encounter with the light in the last week.

Sitting on porch tonight, looked up and saw a v shaped craft with its lights off. To me it looked like the size of a huge jet but a V.

I was sitting on my porch looking up at the sky since all of the recent sighting. I saw a metallic black V shaped craft fly across the sky very slowly. It was creepy because the lights were off but you could see the shape of the craft super easily and you can see where the lights would be. They were just off. Super crazy had me spooked for a sec. I tried catching a video but it just didn’t catch it clear at all since the lights were off. I was curious if anyone has seen anything in the area tonight.

Cruising at FL450 in Citation XL Private Jet encountered 2 lights above us to the west, turning on and off and moving and stopping.

Flying from Teterboro, NJ to Naples, FL at 45,000 feet I noticed a bright light that appeared at first to be a landing light approximately 10,000 to 20,000 feet above us at our two o’clock position and approximately 30-50 miles. The light kept getting brighter then would go out, then come back on in a different position in the sky. I brought it to the attention of the other flight crew member to see what he thought it could be. After observing it for a few minutes he ask me to contact Washington Center to inquire if there was traffic above us in the area where the lights were spotted. Washington Center initially said they had a primary target but then quickly said there was no traffic. Soon after that another less bright light appeared next to the original light. Both lights would turn off and on intermittently and would move both through the sky and around each other in a circular path. At one time both lights appeared and the larger brighter light rotated in an arc around the other light then both went out. The sighting of the lights was confirmed with ATC by at least six to ten aircraft in the air. A Southwest Airlines flight confirmed he had seen the exact same thing at the time of our original query with Washington. The Washington Center controller gave our aircraft and theirs the number to report it. Once we got transferred to Jacksonville Center, numerous aircraft inquired with them about the lights and we heard at least 6 confirm what we saw.

In conclusion, I have been flying for forty years and have seen rocket launches, starlink, space X rocket landings, satellites, and the ISS all from the air, but the lights we saw moved in different directions, seemed to accelerate and decelerate, and would turn off then reappear in different locations within seconds. In all we observed this activity approximately 15-25 minutes.

Weirdly shaped craft seen though a telescope, flying fast against the moon

I was viewing the moon with an iPhone connected to a telescope one night. All of a sudden I spotted this craft flying fast. It appears to fly up, but it was a reflector telescope that flips the image. So it is actually flying downward. It was captured against the moon. I have no idea how far away it was or how big but I can only assume pretty large. The video speaks for itself.

Looking out my door from a 3rd floor apartment I saw two orange and white glowing boxes moving across and up from the horizon followed shortly by 7 orbs of white light changing positions while they flew in the same direction as the 2 boxes. All of which just disappeared. Almost like a quick fade away.

9 Fireballs/Lights Seen to the Northeast of Wilmington NC

Just before 2am on 8/6/2023 I spotted 9 objects in the sky to the Northeast of Wilmington NC. I first spotted two objects, one trailing the other from West to East. The speed of the objects made me think they may have been some types of Satellites as their speed matched other known Satellites and the ISS track speeds.

The appearance seemed to suggest one of two things, either sunlight reflection off of a Satellite solar panel or the emission of thruster gases. The objects were moving too slow to be Meteors. Upon checking my security camera playback, I noticed that there were multiple objects traveling in the same general direction (West to East) that I had not seen before or after the two objects I saw with my own eyes. Some of those objects were traveling across the path of the previous objects (going South to North). They were in the same general location in the sky looking Northeast from my location.

I have previously seen multiple similar events over the last year and made an attempt to validate these objects with known Satellites but no data matched the events. The brief flash of light on these objects had a fade-in/out effect and an average duration of 5 to 7 seconds. They never maneuvered, moved only in a straight line. I have also seen these object events towards the North-West direction and some have recorded seeing these types of events off the coast (over the ocean) in broad daylight over the last several months. Approx 50’ wide BLUE hued smoky light. It was 18-20 feet from ground up. It was evenly dispersed and pulsating

Very large blue light on the ground—50’ wide and 20’ high from the ground. It was evenly distributed so there was no “source” light could have come from. It was a vibrant blue light located in a preserved land that is behind our home…there is nothing there except marshland. The light was 18-20’ from ground up and had a ceiling on it…a clearly defined area. The light started pulsating (in and out) about 10-20 times and then the light suddenly went out. The sun was minutes from starting to come up and illuminate the sky—i dont know if that had anything to do with it suddenly disappearing. My husband is active duty 21 years military and was not a believer in this stuff but he said he cant ignore this and it was not from this earth…because there simply is no earthly explanation for what we saw. It was way too large to be nothing—and much too blue. The color was extreme but hazy. The object was in a bazaar area that no one can get to as its govt preserved land and not anywhere someone could walk because of snakes and swamp like conditions. The pulsating and how extreme the pulsating movements were was phenomenal.

I was driving from Claymont to Middletown, as soon as I passed exit 9 I noticed 3 lights hovering off the right as I going south down I-95. I noticed that they were not planes lights or building lights or even tower lights. When I got closer to it I noticed it was hovering over Wilmington near the cinema. At that time I saw it shift and change position. There were many cars on the road and most of us were driving over the limit until the lights of the triangle moved around. Then we slowed down in amazement before we drove past it. It was strange how the lights shifted and even though the triangle was black as night you could see the outline of it.

Colorful spot in the sky

Not ready to say this was a UFO, but it was cool to see and worth reporting in case anyone else saw it.

Last night (1/9/2023, approximately 7:30 - 8:00pm) , while taking the trash out, I noticed a twinkling/flashing light in the sky to the south-southeast of our house. Didn't think much of it at first, as we do have a lot of air traffic around us, and that's the how the colors appeared to the naked eye - looked like a plane possibly coming straight towards me, with it's red/green/white lights. I continued to watch it for a few moments, expecting it to get closer, but using stationary landmarks to compare against, it did not appear to be moving (meanwhile, had planes going by as normal). I watched it for about 5 minutes, then decided to grab a pair of binoculars to try to get a better look. When I returned outside with the binoculars, it was still in the same spot - through the binoculars, I couldn't make out a shape, but could see a whole rainbow of colors (the colors were in a bit of a starburst pattern around the core object, so it may have been just from the binoculars). I continued to watch it for another 15 minutes approximately before going back in the house for the night.

Felt that was worthy of reporting, even if it wasn't a UFO - just in case anyone else reports something similar in the area. Planning to go back out tonight, if the sky is still clear, to see if it is there again tonight...and if it is, I'll get the telescope out and try to get a better look at it.

Step out my house to go to my car when on my way down my stairs I noticed something large and the distant sky as I looked up I noticed there were three red lights attached to it each on opposite ends almost triangular shape as I stared at it for a few seconds one of the lights on the back and disappeared only leaving two lights still illuminated. Observed a very slow moving unmarked cigar tube shaped craft moving in the air at very low altitude in straight East to West direction

While driving home in my truck eastbound on 17th St. approaching its intersection with South College Rd., I looked out my driver's window in a northerly direction. I observed a silvery-white cigar tube (rounded at "front", blunt at "tail") shaped craft that appeared to be lazily flying in a direct East to West direction. It was moving very slowly, perhaps 10-20 mph. The object had no visible stabilizers or wings. It had no visible propulsion system e.g. propeller(s), or exhaust heat plume The craft had no markings, except for what I thought might be part of a tail fin, which was black and white. Thinking about it, however, it probably was not a tail fin because of it's very low profile. The surface of the craft was smooth; there were no visible ribs. No landing gear was visible. In short, it simply looked like a slow moving silver-white cigar tube.
The object I observed was, as stated, moving very slowly through the air. The field in the background made it easier to see in profile. It held steady at a very low altitude and I observed no vertical or horizontal drift.
I looked at it for as long as I could, perhaps five seconds, then I looked back at the road, as this was rush hour. As soon as I could, perhaps seven seconds later, I looked back at the spot where I first observed the object, and it was gone. I looked to the right and left of the object, but it was gone, like it vanished or something.
There was a lone tree in the foreground situated where the object may have passed behind it, but it was moving so slowly, and was appreciably higher in the sky than the tree, that I would have been able to view part of the craft above the tree line. As it was, I looked directly at the tree and no part of the craft was visible. As there was no point of reference to judge its distance from me, I cannot give an approximation of its length.
I moved to Wilmington from Akron, OH, which is home to the "Spirit of Akron" blimp. I am very familiar with blimp features: the gondola, tethering cables, propeller engines, superstructure, windows and the "skin" of a blimp. This was no blimp. It more closely resembled a dirigible, but had no gondola, visible propulsion system, or markings of any kind. In short, I don't have any idea of what it was or how it could have disappeared so quickly, almost as if it utilized some kind of "cloaking" technology.

[I did see a UFO years ago a saucer type that landed in front of us and sat on the ground. It was Gold and lights went around it all purple light when it landed. It toyed with us while drying, and it came from space! that happened in 1975!]

Amber looking lights almost triangular or oval. There was at first what I thought was 2 but it after zooming more like 5

Fiance observed strange lights that appeared and disappeared and asked me what it was and to grab phone. I have video. These lights would show up randomly and different spots at times almost touching then separated then moved northeast. I'm a police officer here in Wilmington and I've been working here for 16yrs and never seen this. My father was in the air force and I'm very familiar with jets and military aircraft. These did not appear to be normal. Also I've seen meteor showers this does not appear to be that either. These hovered stationary and then almost touching then separated. What's strange is that about 15min later while we waited for them to appear we observed 3 flashing lights evenly spaced out heading north that may have been jets. We have the video recorded of these lights. I've added screens hots of the video and also shortened video clip but I have original video unedited on phone as well. At times they were in total darkness then show up. At one point you will see 2 or 3 then one disappears and a split second later it's next to the other one.

I work in film and at the end of a shift, we were taking photos of the moon when we noticed a strange light in the photos. With my naked eye I could see a small teal light moving slowly, I zoomed in in photos and could see it was spinning while moving in a direction towards me (see side by side photos) - but still quite far away. It disappeared almost instantly. It was much larger than any of the planes in the vicinity considering the distance. It emitted no sound I could hear, but I cannot be 100% sure it was silent.

A group of friends were on a small island on the intracoastal near Wilmington, NC. We saw what first appeared to look like a comet in the distance but it continued to come closer to our location. Subject: UFO Report: 10/14/2020, 11:30 p.m. EST To Whom It May Concern: I left my sister's house on [street name hidden] Way on Wednesday, 10/14/2020 at 11:30 pm EST (23:30 hours). As I drove down the street, I noticed lights ahead that were hovering over a house and not moving. I slowed down so I could try to make out what I was seeing. It was a large object (around 30 FT wide & 20 FT tall) hovering in the sky about roughly 50 feet above the roof of the house directly across the street from the [street name hidden] Way stop sign. Anyone with a good baseball arm could have thrown a stone and hit it.

As I approached the stop sign, I realized it was a lot bigger than I thought- jet black and I could only make out the outline of the craft against the night sky...there were no other markings that I saw, only the lights and outline. It also made no sound that I could hear. I did have my windows up, but the neighborhood was completely silent and no one was outside so if it did display an engine-type sound, I should have been able to hear that considering how close I was to this thing (probably around 150 ft away from me).

It had 2 yellow lights on either side of the craft and 3 red lights in the middle. It looked like an upside-down bell but a little wider, more triangle shaped but with rounded edges, and the lights were on the front, not on the side or underneath. It was very thick...very solid looking--not flat. There was nothing protruding on the craft, no wings or blades. It was very large, as I mentioned before--like the size of my living room w/ vaulted ceilings.

My first thought was this must be a VERY expensive military surveillance drone due to its size but why the heck is it hovering in our community this late at night?!? It started moving toward me so I floored the gas and sped away as fast as I could. I wasn't sure if it was following me until I turned left on [street name hidden] Ct and there it was. It was on my left moving VERY slowly over the houses on [street name hidden] Ct. heading in the direction of [school name hidden] High School. I raced down the road and pulled into my garage, jumped out to take a picture of it and it was already gone. I have to tell you, that was the most frightening thing I've ever encountered. I made a police report the next day (10/15/2020) and the officer confirmed that “none of their drones were outside at time” and “their drones are only 24 INCHES wide.” I did not take any pics or videos because I was seriously so frightened of being abducted that I could not look away. I did, however, press my sister’s phone number that is saved on my vehicle’s home screen to call my sister via bluetooth. She can attest that I was screaming, “Come outside! Come outside! I think I’m witnessing a UFO!!” She thought I was joking and hung up. I’ve included a hand-drawn picture of what I saw.

Thank you for looking into this matter. If it was military, it is quite concerning that they are in a residential neighborhood flying so close to houses.

10 white lights in formation, observed over Wilmington NC.

My dad and his friend told me to come outside, and I observed 10 lights flying equally spaced, in a straight line moving North to South, all the lights disappeared at the same point in the sky. There were no Navigation or strobe lights typical of aircraft. The lights moved without sound at an un determined altitude. I’m guessing the lights were around the same altitude of normal aircraft or higher. Approximately 45 minutes later a jet aircraft flew over South to North with normal aircraft lights and noise. After the lights had passed we heard rumbling noises similar to thunder, but the weather was clear and local weather radar showed now precipitation.

Sighted one bright low-flying light slowly glide up and abruptly stop. originally guessed it might have been a helicopter or osprey out of lejeune or new river but there was no noise and the flight pattern was too tight and in my opinion, impossible for conventional aircraft. Not long after it stopped and began to hover, a second smaller light appeared to almost morph out of the bottom of the craft almost like a bead of liquid dripping off. The second object rotated around the larger original object several times while the original object pulsates with light, then (almost as if it were called back) the second object quickly emerged back with the original and the object took off in the opposite direction on a linear horizontal flight path. Again there was never any noise and these objects were in my opinion within a half a mile of where I was as it was visible to me in my perspective.

I am former military and am fully aware of what military aircraft would look like flying against a night sky and this was just not any man made aircraft in my opinion.

This object first appeared to be a bright white star or planet.

After staring at it from my window for about 3 seconds, the object suddenly was a bit lower and to the left. Now appearing as a less bright, red light.

This sudden change in location as a red light happened about 6 times within 10 seconds then disappeared. The object seemed to be far away. Movements were within same vicinity but could of been up to a mile apart, with no pattern. Each change in location followed up with a still pause.

Two tiny lights become one, then fade away slowly.

So me and my wife usually smoke cigarettes on our back patio before going to bed. Being such a chilly night, we wrapped our arms around each other. We were having a normal conversation when I looked up to see if I could see the stars. Due to wear we live, some nights you can, some nights you can't. My wife is looking the opposite direction I am when she say's, "Look a shooting star". I turned, looked where she was pointing, when I said; "That's no star!" It was moving really fast, then stopped. It stayed in one spot for a good two seconds, when I second object merged with the first, and they began to glow super bright, white light. It dimmed slowly for about a second, then evaporated as if it was getting smaller. It's then we realized it was moving away from us, not dimming. Almost as if it was heading into space. I pulled my phone out, and got a good couple seconds of it. Wish I had it out the whole time, because two objects became one, ! but the video only show's just the one bright light.

Object was seen east of Middle Sound, near Wrightsville Beach, most likely off the coast. Object was completely stationary, showing no plumes or means of propulsion. Two lights following perfectly aligned possibly one vechike was seen for 10 minutes front one brighter then the back then disappeared.

The power in house flickered on and off several times followed by a surge complete darkness then the lights went back on. The rest of the neighbors didn't get power back and the whole block was in complete darkness. Due to the power failure several neigh ors came to my house to power up there phones/tablets.total 7 of us. My son recieved a text from NASA that ISSC was pacing I mb orbit an maybe be seen around 8:30 p.m. we ran outside to check it out and were able to see it after mistaking a few planes first. After it was over we hung outside for awhile as it was a clear sky we were star gazing when we saw two light either two separate crafts or one big one as they followed perfectly in line to each other. They moved quickly across sky (not as fast as metro or comet but not as slow as a plane or jet). The front light grew extremely bright for a short time then back to it's original brightness and carried on across the sky for another 30 to 40 seconds then completely disappeared both lights. Because it was in the sky I have nothing to measure it to so not sure how far up or how big the object was accurately so I will not guess. This isn't the first odd light in the sky out here for the past three night we have seen what I have been telling my child they are just satellites reflecting the sun from space. I know it's something more but what I don't know. I am in no way stating Aliens just stating I couldn't identify what it was and its not being the norm as we often sky gaze. Dear NUFORC, First and foremost, I would like to say "thank you" for the work that you do.

It was a lovely, clear Saturday and I was home after directing morning music rehearsals at a local church. I was elated because the early evening was beatific in its summer breeze.

Coming home to perfect summer weather was nice, as our church building has a cold-and-spooky vibe that leaves me drained.

I was standing up on my porch, just enjoying the blue sky while my friend sat down to check her texts, when I suddenly saw something 25-50 ft overhead - something that I still cannot explain, as I have found little to no evidence.

It was a highly reflective, metallic, glittery, shapeless poof of sparks that resembled blinking stars or fireworks. The blob was about 5 ft in length, had many sparks, appeared out of thin air and disappeared the same way.

Toward the end of its appearance, the sparks seemed to coordinate with one another to make a formation that reminded me of a flock of birds flying very high overhead, at sunset. I can definitely confirm that this was not that. This was especially strange to me, and reminded me that I have a friend who has been researching UFO's for many years, and that she has found that they like to hide by imitating their environment.

Back to the event, I was slack-jawed by what I was seeing, yet immediately alarmed my friend who was not able to look up from her screen to see the 2-5 second event. I would like to add that we were soberly sharing food, and that I don't suffer from any type of hallucinations. Finally, I was not scared at all by the proximity of this sighting...just blown away.

TWO BRIGHT LIGHTS MOVING SLOWLY

AT 2:45AM ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH, I WOKE UP AND WAS LOOKING STRAIGHT OUT MY SLIDING GLASS DOOR. I SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE AN AIRPLANE COMING STRAIGHT TOWARD MY WINDOW, COMING OUT OF THE SSW. MY ROOM IS ON THE 3RD LEVEL OF THE HOUSE AND THE HOUSE SETS MAYBE 10 FT ABOVE SEA LEVEL. THE OBJECT LOOKED TO BE ABOUT THE SIZE OF A PROP JET BASED ON THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO LIGHTS.

I RAN TO THE DOOR AND WHEN I GOT TO THE DOOR THE LIGHTS THAT WERE, UP UNTIL THAT POINT, PARALLEL TO THE GROUND SWITCHED TO BEING PERPENDICULAR TO THE GROUND, BUT THE SAME DISTANCE WAS BETWEEN THEM. AT FIRST GLANCE IT LOOKED LIKE THE PLANE HAD BANKED AND STARTED FLYING TO MY LEFT OR SSE. I THEN OPENED THE DOOR AND WALKED OUTSIDE. ONCE OUTSIDE, I REALIZED I HEARD NO NOISE. I COULD NOT MAKE OUT ANY CRAFT BETWEEN THE LIGHTS.

I STOOD THERE APPROXIMATELY 60 SEC WATCHING AS THE LIGHTS MOVED VERY SLOWLY IN THE SSE DIRECTION. MAYBE MOVING APPROX 75-100YDS IN THE 60 OR SO SECONDS I STOOD THERE AND THEY WERE STILL IN PLAIN SIGHT WHEN I WENT BACK INSIDE.

I DID NOT WAIT TIL THEY WERE OUT OF SIGHT. THE LIGHTS WERE NOT BLUE WHITE LIKE THE STARS BUT MORE OF A CANDLELIGHT COLOR EACH LIGHT WAS IN SIZE APPROXIMATELY THE SIZE OF 1/10TH OF A FULL MOON. EACH WAS MUCH MUCH BIGGER THAN ANY STARS OR PLANETS I CAN SEE. IT WAS NOT DIFFICULT AT ALL TO KEEP IN SIGHT. IT HOVERED ROUGHLY 30FT OFF THE GROUND.

I saw a vee-shaped formation of lights with 5 on one side and 6 on the other going south. The lights seemed to be objects illuminated by the sun that has not come up yet. The objects must have been up as high as normal satellites that I see all the time in the morning. It traveled from north to south in about 10 seconds and I do not know of anything that can travel that fast.

At noon out for lunch with my son at the Mayfaire town center Chick Filet. Stepped out of vehicle with my son and saw in the crisp blue clear skies a formation of disc shaped craft. The color of the crafts were silver white. There were over twenty four craft coming in from the Northeast and heading southwest.

The crafts were going into and out of many V and unique formations. The discs were almost in a dance like interaction with each other. Tremendous speed within the tight formation was amazing. I pulled out my phone to snap dozens of pictures as they sped to the southwest horizon. I would estimate they were around 20,000 feet in the air. I say that because airline paths that fly up and down the coast cruise around 30,000 feet and they appeared lower than that.

Stationary round metallic object in the sky, WIlmington, Massachusetts 1/14/18

At approx: 11:45am on 01/14/2018, while driving to purchase a coffee, I observed a circular object that was stationary in the sky at a relatively high altitude. The object was shiny metallic in color. The object did not have any contrail activity behind it. It did not emit a sound. It just remained idle in the sky.

After trying to process what it was I was seeing, I pulled my vehicle into a safe location free of traffic, I lost site of the object. Roughly five minutes later, my girlfriend also observed the object and pointed it out to me. I saw it for a split second, then, due to the route I was driving, the view of the object was obscured by a tall tree.

Moving my vehicle to get away from the obstructed view, we lost all vision of the object. We continued to search for the object for another 10 minutes or so, but the object had vanished.

Its important to note, that during the observation of the object and immediately after, there was alot of aircraft activity; more than usually observed at this particular time of day.

Please note, what I observed is not a hoax or a prank. I am a retired volunteer police officer, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. As a self proclaimed sceptic/believer, I too, would be hesitant to find any validity in this report, but what I saw is exactly what I observed. I am hopeful that other people in the area observed what I observed.

My mom bursts in the door and talks about gigantic stars.

I first think, "She must be talking about Venus or Mars." I go outside and two massive looking "comets" are streaking gradually away from a gigantic cloud formation. I can understand comets but their trail was astounding. It was a square Z shape cloud or a stair-case kind of bend with an enormous cloud formation that glowed in the moonlight. Their cloud trail ended abruptly and no longer left any kind of cloud.

One of the objects appear to gradually lose radiance and appear to make gradual decline in altitude until it disappeared. The other took off west over the ocean with no apparent drop in altitude but a loss of brightness.

My neighbor was outside and watching longer than we were. However, he only noticed that they moved away from the cloud. The cloud quickly dissipated over the next few minutes adding that it was just recently made. There are other clouds in the sky and none were reacting the same way.

We later waited. The sky cleared as if nothing happened.

Vehicle sized UFO at the same height as busy stoplight, unlike anything we had ever seen, defied laws of physics as I know it

In late November / early December of 2017, I was living at a student living apartment complex at the intersection of Randall Parkway and S College Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403. I am 23 years old now, and was about 20 years old at the time. My one other witness to this event is my roommate (K) at the time, who was about 25.

I remember this day pretty vividly as it sent me into a bit of an obsession for months after this happened. I first assumed that what we saw was military since we are coastal. I will relay what happened as best as I can. I had never considered until recently what we saw that evening could’ve been ET.

About 4:30 / 5 PM - K and I are going to a gas station up the street. We turn right from Pepys Ln, left onto S College, and go to the BP on the right side of the road. This is just barely off of UNCW campus. K goes into buy beer since I am underage, and we set back for the short .3 mi journey home.

We were sober when we left for the gas station, and had been all day. Neither of us have hallucinogenic or delusional mental disorders, and have never seen anything like this. I am driving, and turn left back onto S College, and K and I almost immediately see a rather large aircraft. It was hard to tell at first glance how close it was and the size, but it didn’t take long to realize that it was flying at about the same height as the stoplight we were approaching. It was so low.

I then noticed that it was dark grey/black, the size of a typical sedan, and was spherical with short wings extending from the sides. The shape was honestly hard to decipher because I had never seen any type of craft designed this way, and definitely not this close to the ground.

I remember hearing a low whirring. I think that it may have had two propeller sort of mechanisms underneath the wings. I couldn’t tell if it was big enough to be manned or unmanned. K and I were both yelling at each other to make sure we were seeing the same thing. Without having to say much at all, we were both in awe of what we were seeing, and also terrified.

I needed to get in the right turn lane at the light (S College/Randall) to get us back home. Along that turn lane, vehicles could turn earlier into a Rooms To Go parking lot that was across from where K and I lived. I wanted to try snd keep looking at what we were seeing, so I quickly turned into the RTG lot. It seemed like the craft noticed me, and it made a ~45 degree turn with minimal effort, and immediately went in the direction of Randall Pkwy over the RTG building.

I saw when it turned that it almost went belly up, and I couldn’t tell how it gained momentum so quickly. It moved away from my vehicle at what I would guess 45/50 MPH, after hovering right above S College Rd barely moving for a solid 20-40 seconds.

I was so in shock of what we had seen, as was K, that we agreed to immediately call the non emergency police number to try and make any real sense of it. We were still at this point convinced we had seen some kind of military UAV/drone/etc, but I have done extensive research and have not seen anything remotely similar to what we saw that day. The police officer I spoke with asked me if I was being held against my will by somebody and if I had taken any drugs (lol). I knew it sounded ridiculous, but we are both clear on what we saw that day, and have not found any answers that point us in the direction of what it could have been.

October 26 2017 I live in Wilmington, California, located at approximately 33.785795/-118.264357 and at approximately 11:39 on October 26, 2017, I walked out onto my patio to check on my dog and as I looked to the south west I noticed an extremely bright object something as bright as the tip of a cutting torch in the shape of a contoured triangle.

I positioned myself to get a better view and it wasn’t a street light, it wasn’t anything like I had seen before, like it was on fire and brighter than the sun! I went into the garage and told my friend Craig to come check it out. At first, he couldn’t see it, but as soon as he did he said, What ((words deleted)) is that and as soon as he said that the object turned bright white and was gone faster than a blinking eye. It was like poof vanished in to thin air.

We stood in the patio for about the next hour just watching if anything would reappear, but noting. The distance we were at from the object was probably 20 miles and it was about .75” wide evenly, it would fit behind your thumb at arm’s length.

No noise, no atmospheric change, no obvious differences. I did find out that exactly when we spotted it at 11:39, a 2.5 mag Earthquake occurred in coastal OR. Unbelievably bizarre, I don’t have any explanation for what we saw…

My boyfriend and I were sitting on our back porch smoking a cigarette. We live fairly close to the airport in our town and as we were talking we looked and saw what looked to be like two fireballs going through the sky. After they got over and us the “flame” flickered out on one of the fireballs. Then the second one dimmed and went out as well. We caught all this on recording. The weirdest thing was about ten minutes later we saw one in the sky again. It came from the direction of the airport and did the same thing as the last two. It came over us and then the light went out again. It continued to happen one more time before finally stopping. The craziest part about all of it is these “crafts” never made a sound. In one of the videos we were able to actually see a plane landing in the back ground and you can hear the plane but after it disappeared there was once again no sound.

Two times this month, between 10pm and 12am, we have seen "blue shooting stars" moving north to south one night, and west to east a week later. These "shooting stars"are completely stopping mid air then quickly shooting again to another dead stop and so on until out of sight.

We watched these "blue stars" stop 6-7 times in a span of one minute, until out of sight. Very high altitude and absolutely silent with an amazing blue light. We see satellites, jets, planes etc. and these are none of those.

Has anyone seen these before? Please help with other witness reports of similar as my crew and i can not stop talking and wondering about what it is we are witnessing.

Four objects noticed way up in the sky.

Today, I noticed four objects moving to south west direction. Three in the front, and one in back. It doesn't looked like birds, because it's way up int he sky and looked in silver color. It doesn't looked like weather balloon, cause all moving in same direction at same speed. And doesn't looked like fighter planes, caused it stopped for a while and stayed in one place. It was so tiny, looked like a stars moving. And sure it's not drone cause it was flying way up in the sky and could see some flights flying way down compared to the objects. I tried to record it from my iphone, nothing was visible through the phone as the objects were so tiny.

Five orange-red lights over ocean that kept appearing and then disappearing. Would make a diagonal line, and would be spread out.

Saw orange-red circles/ovals that were appearing and then disappearing. One would appear and then another one, and then another one. They would appear and then disappear. At first the lights were clumped together, then they almost made an "S" shape. After about 5-10 minutes they appeared again but more spread out. Three of them made a diagagonal line, and there were two on the opposite side. I continued to wait for more lights, but they did not come back.

Two unexplained flying amber lights move apart and regroup over downtown Wilmington, NC.

At approximately 22:15 on Sunday, March 6, 2016, three witness observed a low, slow moving unidentifiable object crossing the Cape Fear River over downtown Wilmington, NC.

What was observed was two spherical amber lights moving along the river. The object than made a curved turn. The lights were then observed to move an equal distance apart briefly before returning to their original position.

Absent from this event was any form of noise that would explain if this was a possible aircraft. The lights moved apart and back in formation several times before completely disappearing from view.

This event, upon investigation, closely matches a similar event that occurred in December of 2012 in another part of North Carolina.

Their are no concrete details to report as to size and shape as all that could be seen were the very distinct lights. An estimated guess would place them approximately 250 feet in the air moving at a speed of less than 80mph.

Silent aircraft over Wilmington/Pike Creek.

At about 5 am I observed a white circular light in the southwest sky. At first it looked like a very large, very bright star, but I noticed it was moving. It was so early in the morning that it was still very quiet outside – no birds chirping, no traffic noise. I watched the object move from the southwest to the northeast over the Pike Creek area. It was not a plane or a helicopter. It made absolutely no sound at all, even as it passed over my house. It moved very slowly, and low enough in the sky that as it moved over my house I could see not just the circular white light but also red flashing lights. Many planes fly over this area. I’ve never experienced any aircraft that could do so without making a single sound – as if it was engine-less and just gliding slowly across the sky.

Around 4:30 am, saw three flashes of blue light approximately 10 seconds apart at first I thought perhaps a transformer blew at a refinery but the light was too blue like I have never seen. Triangular lights seen over Wilmington, DE, heading towards New Castle along 13

As we sat at the traffic light at the intersection of route 13 and Rodgers road facing DuPont highway, we witnessed a triangular craft hovering about 300 yards in front of us and extremely low to the ground. As soon as the light turned green, the craft began to move forward towards us then made a right turn heading south.

After the craft began heading south it with vanished or the lights went out but it was no longer visible. The object was silent and appeared to be transparent or of a material that did not reflect light. There were 3 White lights forming a triangle and one red flashing/blinking light.

This was approximately 5-10 miles from the New Castle Airport but it was definitely not an airplane or helicopter.

Heard loud noise, thought helicopter overhead. Looked out to see a row of lights, changing in color, and blinking, in the sky. It looked to be moving from side to side, then appeared to go up and down.

Suddenly it seemed to be going higher in the sky, when two separate lights approached it. Then, they too began to rise higher in the sky until out of sight.

Round craft bright red light with what looked like fire coming from it.

What looked to be a round craft dark red with almost fire on it. it moved at a slow pace and hovered for 5 mins then started blinking and flew off into the sky. My friend spotted it.

View just above houses due east but definitely not street lights too high and large UFO MAYBE DEC 23 2:20 -AM Monday or Tuesday morning now.

6 outer very bright speckles hugh stars look alike.

One star in middle. Diameter about my view 1mile guess.

Not helicopters hovering too precise and not moving at all. Just still for over 20 minutes.

Not meteorites cause not moving sideways and down the were just still.

The objects not flashing across the sky.

I don’t know what to call this sighting but sure was unidentified and I have never seen anything like it.

8 fireballs following same path traveled northeast

At around 11:45pm, what I would describe as a fireball, came from over the trees (south) and was heading northeast. It appeared to be on fire but with no trail/tail. It would occasionally spark with the sparks fading almost immediately. After the fireball was out of view, another followed in the EXACT SAME PATH. 8 of these fireballs traveled in the same direction over a period of about 20 minutes. There were about 2 minutes between each one. They were completely silent and were about 1500 feet off the ground traveling at about 100-150mph. My roommate and 4 of my neighbors witnessed the same thing.

Lots of pulsing red lights flying in formation, against the wind, south of the Philadelphia metro area

On Sunday October 12th, 2014, a little after 8pm EST, my husband had gone outside to turn off the lights in our detached garage. He immediately shouted back to me to come outside and bring the camera – his tone was urgent.

I fumbled for a moment getting the camera, and when I stepped out our back door I was aghast! The sky to the north of our home was lit up like a Christmas tree with a large cluster of red pulsating lights that were flying in formation from east to west. I set the camera to video and started filming. I was standing on the top step and my husband was below me, and to my left, at ground level. He told me to step down for a better viewpoint. I had difficulty doing so because I couldn’t see the stairs in the dark. He helped me down, and I filmed all the while. The video jiggles around during that time.

The sight of these lights was startling. The lights pulsed from a dim glowing orange red to a strong, deep red. While they moved in one large formation, each light was variable enough in its speed and pulsing that they appeared to be individual crafts, as opposed to many lights on one large craft. I estimate there were between 25 and 50 crafts. They moved in unison, but did not pulse in unison. The visual effect was scintillating, like Christmas tree lights that fade in and out rapidly and randomly. They moved slower than the average airplane, and they made no noise.

My husband ran inside to grab the phone during the sighting. He intended to call our next door neighbor so there would be another witness. As he did so, the lights began to fade out and disappear. I called to him that they were disappearing! He abandoned the phone and returned outside to catch the last of the crafts.

There were some stragglers that followed after the large formation was gone. These later craft were slightly different from the others; they flew more in a single file line than in a cluster, they seemed to be larger lights than the others and the color was more orange. While their color also pulsed, it seemed slower and stronger than the formation lights. I tried zooming in on one of these craft.

My SD card ran out of space during filming and I had to run inside and change to a new card. I resumed filming on the new card. I also tried to zoom in and take some still photos, but the shutter speed was too long for a hand held shot. (I got photos of smeared lights). At some point during the sighting, I checked my watch and the time was 8:10pm.

Upon reviewing the videos, the red craft are not as visible in the film as they were to the naked eye. The brighter ones appear in the video, but the camera didn’t capture them all; the sky was shimmering with them! Also, reviewing the video I noticed some larger, more orangeish craft on the upper right side. These look like those other craft that came afterwards – but they appear to be flanking the mass of red sparklers. I didn’t realize this until watching the video.

In my video, you can hear the traffic from I-495, which is nearby. There is no sound to the crafts that I could discern live, or in my video. I could not discern a shape to the crafts with my naked eye. To my view, I could only see them as lights.

The weather conditions at the time of the event were chilly with a partly cloudy sky. The patchy clouds were semi-transparent, low, feathery type. The clear parts of the sky were clear enough to see stars. I estimate the temperature was about 55-60 degrees. NOAA wind maps indicate winds from the south at 3000’ and from the west at 6000’ this evening.

I called our local police station to ask if anyone had reported some unusual lights, and the trooper replied that they did have a man come in around 10pm to report some unusual lights in the sky. I also called the Philadelphia Airport to learn if they had any explanation for strange lights this evening, such as an air show, or other events involving flying objects, etc. They said they would normally be informed of these kinds of events, but they have no such events on their calendar for this evening.

My background: I’m 49 years old and have worked in banking most of my working life. I enjoy the night sky, sometimes with a telescope, but usually with the naked eye. While I have little knowledge of airplanes, I have lived under the landing pattern of the Philadelphia Airport all of my life. I see planes in the night sky all the time – I’ve never seen anything like these lights.

Cluster of orange/red pulsating lights vicinity of Philadelphia Airport

From our back porch, through a clear, unobstructed opening in the trees that faces north northeast I saw a tight cluster of approximately 50 or more (difficult to count) blinking orange to reddish lights. They were in a loose cluster formation traveling east to west, much slower than an airplane and without any sound. The sky was clear to the north with high, thin clouds coming in from the south. The lights were below the clouds but appeared very high. There were also lights from a plane traveling north, above the clouds and above the cluster, but from my viewpoint ‘through’ the cluster. The wind was light and the direction the lights were moving seemed to contradict the wind and the cloud movement. I know winds can vary with altitude, and I do not know how high these lights were flying. Having seen a fireball recently, I stopped to consider what I was seeing and realized it was not fireball, fireworks or anything else that I’d ever seen before. I watched th! em for several seconds, thinking they would quickly vanish, and when they didn’t, I called my wife and asked her to bring the camera. There is over 5 minutes of video that document most of what we saw.

What they looked like to me were electrically generated lights, not flame, pulsing from a very bright orange to a not so bright red and back again. No way was it flame! They pulsed at about 1 second intervals, not in unison. The lights were moving at about the same speed and direction with some slight variation. There seemed to be two types – one type was definitely brighter than the other type.

I went inside to get the phone to call our neighbor but stopped, grabbed my binoculars instead and returned when my wife said the lights were disappearing. The way they were disappearing was just to kind of fade out. No loss in altitude. Each one just fizzling out where it stood, bunches at a time until the only ones that were left were a handful of the brighter ones. As those last ones diminished, a few more of the brighter type drifted into view from the east. The position of our house and a large holly tree prevented us from seeing where they originated, they just drifted into our small field of view and every single one of them vanished within our sight after crossing our small field of view. A couple at a time, then one at a time, with longer spaces in between, and then they were done. The last one seemed to change direction after crossing the opening in the sky. It seemed to move further away to the north before vanishing.

When I tried looking at them with my binoculars and it appeared that the orange light was coming from the bottom of the object and the red light was coming from the top. It also appeared that they went a little faster when the red light was glowing, and slower when the orange light was glowing, though that could have been an illusion. I’d like to think this could be explained as being Chinese lanterns or something of the sort, but the intensity of the electric light, their height, the fact that they remained in a such tight formation, and that they vanished so simultaneously, make it difficult to explain.

I’ve lived my entire 50+ years under the flight path of Philadelphia International Airport. I’ve worked outdoors all my life. I intentionally spend a lot of my leisure time looking at the sky, day and night, and enjoying the variety of light displays, natural and manmade. This is a very urban area and it’s not uncommon to see distant fireworks or balloons from a party. What I saw on this date was something I’ve never seen before – and I’m just amazed.

Seven white (sometimes orangish ) orbs spotted off coast of Wrightsville beach - One very active and rippling with colors

Date : Saturday/August 16th/2014 Time span : From approximately 4 a.m. to approximately 7 a.m.

Where : Wrightsville Beach.

What we (my best friend and I) witnessed: We walked out on the beach and stood by the water and immediately saw 3 bright orbs of light.. what I originally tried to explain to my friend as Mars, Jupiter or Venus.. one of them, further off in the distance to the right started moving to the right.

I watched to see if it was a plane or chopper (The ENTIRE 3 hours there were no sounds of any type of craft – only the sound of the beach break )and then noticed it’s unearthly/unrecognizable gliding/ propulsion/velocity.

We then noticed that it had a random wave of flashing lights amidst the bright white light. It was scouting/scanning an area of what appeared to be about a 2 miles or so left to right – sometimes making erratic motions.. but mostly hovering at times and then accelerating rapidly – immediately from the point of motionless – to the left or right/ then smoothly and rapidly moving in horizontal directions.

We stood – mouths agape – for about 20 minutes staring at this floating object .. and then it occurred to me to observe the other bright lights that were in the sky – because I know that ships have been spotted in clusters – and to my astonishment - I saw the very same thing off to the right in the sky – closer and more above our heads – closer to the coastline. I exclaimed “look! There’s another one!! “and then looked off to the left where we had originally seen what I had thought to be Venus and Jupiter or Mars. They were closer to each other than the other ones were. They also, were both moving – side to side – left to right in their respective areas. Each UFO was in their own area. Each one was scouting/scanning/moving in their different width of the sky. The third one we spotted and also the first one we noticed moving – had the largest scope of movement.

It appeared to cover 2 or 3 miles left to right in the sky. Whilst the second we saw off to the right and closer to the shoreline was more like a mile or so to the left and right and sometimes moved in an oval shape. Then the other two (the first two originally seen) I studied next. They were also moving in what appeared to be their own individual parts of the sky (much closer together than the others)…with a back and forth / left to right/ sometimes oval movement. I would like to note also that they all appeared at some time or another to move diagonally through the sky and then horizontally – immediately after moving diagonally!! They all made movements of a nature that I have never before seen in my life.

There were also extremely bizarre cloud formations to the left. Not a cloud or star elsewhere in the sky. Except for massive/ massive clouds that appeared strikingly as an angel / kneeling /head bent / holding an open book. Very distinct crisp cloud formation – as if a large picture drawn. The massive “wings “of the angel were a different type of cloud. This cloud formation hovered for an hour in one spot over the sky. People brought chairs out to sit and watch it. Surfers stood and pointed at it.

Seven of these orbs were spotted in all. There was a bright light over our heads and it was moving in the same fashion as the other ones. It was the only one that appeared to move – back and forth – in a very small space of the sky…whilst one off over the water moved back and forth in a large area. That one rippled with colors – almost like the phosphorescence that underwater creatures have. What appeared to be an odd form of twinkling we believe to be a fading and rippling effect. These orbs all disappeared gradually at different times. They would just disappear. Their brightness and intensity did not seem to be hindered or fade away as the sun rose. They just vanished one by one.

The last one ever seen was the one we had noticed movement from originally (the third one spotted). It seemed to be more active – color wise for some reason – than the others. Maybe it was closer to us than the others. The ones directly over the shoreline- over our heads - just appeared to be bright white light…whilst said orb over the ocean was bright white but with waving colors.

All of these seemed to be about a mile and a half to two miles high in the sky. Four of the orbs appeared to be in a diamond formation.

Saw 2 slow moving fireball type orbs heading South over Kirkwood hwy. while at gas station.

My fiancee and I were heading North on Rt. 7 (Limestone Road) just south of Rt. 2 (Kirkwood Highway). We pulled into the Shell gas station located at the 7/2 intersection. As we pulled up to the pump and he got out, I looked out towards the strip mall across rt. 2 where A.C. Moore and Kohl's is, and I saw what looked like 2 glowing balls of fire. They were perfectly round, fairly large, and flickered just like a candle flame would. It was not an on off twinkling that you see from airplanes. They were moving slowly from the North to the South, the second ball seemed to moving just slightly faster then the first, as the gap between the 2 seemed to be shrinking. Not sure if that was because of the angle I was seeing them from or not. I sat there watching them until they disappeared over the awning of the gas station.
