Extremely bright light low on the horizon moving slowly

I was driving to central Medford, Oregon, when I spotted I bright light in the sky. Now to mention, the Medford airport is right there just a couple miles northeast of the central Medford/Rogue Valley Mall off-ramp. Planes are extremely common, that’s what I thought it was at first. But then this light moved very slowly across the horizon. From the left side of the highway to the right, very low on the horizon, potentially around 500-1000 feet in elevation. I was also thinking it could have been Jupiter or Venus as I'm an astrophotographer. I then checked later on my sky guide app the direction I saw the object and it couldn't have been a star. So not an airplane, or star, then I thought helicopter searchlight, but I would have seen light rays come through the sky from particulates in the smog-ridden atmosphere of Medford. It was extremely bright, about 12—20 times brighter than Venus on a good night. I do not know what this object or light was. I was driving when I seen it, that's why I don't have a photograph. The illustration represents the subtle light rays and overall shape of it.

Slow moving rectangular ufo

In the western part of the sky, me and three witnesses observed a rectangular craft moving from southwest to northwest. It slowly moved across the sky in what looked like a straight line.

We were in awe of what we were seeing. The whole sighting lasted about 10 minutes, before it disappeared from our sight.

During the sighting, we were logging on starlink, to see if it was startlink, and fortunately, it was not. It was amazing, and from what I'm reading online, I'm not the only person to have seen it.

I noticed it was hovering in the same place and when I got home we seen it from a pair of binoculars, it's a sphere of lights

I only have a cell phone, the object was stationary, like hovering, and it was changing each time one of us were looking through the binoculars, it went from flat to sphere, and then like a triangle shaped with rounded edges then back to a sphere, the sphere appeared to have several lights on it almost like a Christmas ornament. My name is ((woman's name deleted)) and I know that what I am looking at is not my imagination.

Approached from sw at vry fast speed and brightness. Speed variable and it made two turns..

Me and neighbor and my friend were watching the lunar eclipse. Object spotted by myself. Thought was satellite approaching our position from the west at a high rate of speed and very high brightness (white at all times). After watching for apx 30 sec. I pointed it out to the two people I was with and we started watching it they both exclaimed that it was extremely bright and moving very fast and was getting brighter (even after going past us.) It then slowed down by half at least and made a slow turn towards the east. This happened as a craft was a little past directly overhead of us. It was an almost a perfect pass from east to west. We watched the light until it went over the mountains to our east almost exactly. No lights other than the craft itself. strange because I've never seen a satellite visible for its entire pass over my position and satellites don't slow down or turn! There was no sound. We listened three times for it. Never made a report like this before ... it was quite exciting and I feel lucky to have seen it. Thank you, Matt Hinds, ki7onn, Medford Oregon

me and my mom were driving down to a 711 market and while i was in the car waiting for her to come back and i noticed something bright appear and it was silent if i didn’t see it i wouldn’t have known it was there and looking back on the video i was slowing it down and noticed that that light at one point just went off completely and couldn’t see it for that split second. thats about everything that happened though after it went over the market i didn’t see it anymore.

Orange pulsating lights in a square formation to a straight line formation

I have video of the objects. I was in the living room watching TV with my grandsons when my cat came running into my living room from the outside dog door. She kept looking around the corner to see if something followed her inside. I went to see what she was scared of thinking it was another cat. I turned on my porch light and scanned my backyard. I saw a plane coming in from the southeast which is not their normal flight for landing at our airport. For some reason I looked in the southeast and saw orange pulsating lights in a square formation. I yelled at my grandsons to bring me my phone he was standing next to me with his. I then saw them go into a triangle formation then into a straight line. I then Started recording all the while trying to get my roommate outside to see what was going on. One by one they changed formation and then seemed to disappear, then when they had all but gone a larger red pulsating object came up over the trees. It kept ascen! ding up until it disappeared.

About 40 star-like lights traveling in a fixed trajectory

My eight and twelve year old girls were camping out in the backyard and saw multiple lights all headed in the same direction. They called me outside and I observed probably fifteen or twenty of these lights traveling all in the same direction. They were headed slightly NorthEast from Medford, Oregon toward Klamath Falls area. They could have been planes but they weren’t blinking. They were traveling too slowly and steadily to be shooting stars. Once one shone a bright light twice in our direction, causing two large blinks. Most were traveling in the same path, but occasionally one would be going across the main path for a while. My husband and fifteen year old son also came out and observed for a while.

We saw people stoped on the side of the road looking up and pointing at a hill so we stoped and started to look and we quickly realized there was a pinkish reddish oval craft hovering in the air. So we got out are phones and as I was taking the picture I saw it on the screen, after I took the picture I went to look at it and it would not appear in the photo we try multiple times and nothin worked. After that we saw it move around the mountain like it was trying to find a place to land. It made it around the mountain so we kept driving. Then we looked at the same spot again like 5 min later and it was back and hovering and did the exact same thing again the only thing that was different is when is went around the mountain if never returned.

got in hot tub ,looking at the sky I saw a group of 4 lights moving one behind each other as they moved the one in front faded away ,one would fade in behind the formation in it place , always kept 4 0000 in a line at all times, I began counting the lights I counted 37 times the light fade an another took its place never saw any more than 5 in a line , when the last one appeared it seemed to hang back ways I counted 37 lights fade in an fade out , I have seen a lot of plains in the night sky Medford air port is close also I was in the air force 1970s , this happen in a distance that never changed from light to light we have a kingsley field air base in Klamath falls Oregon 90 miles away I know it dose not have 37 planes at that time don't know how many I missed or how long it was going on before I saw them

I saw a blue glowing object flying and able to change speed and direction quickly. I have 9 photos.

I saw a blue glowing object as I was photographing the moon in zoom mode on my Iphone camera. The object appeared as different shapes at different times. I took 9 photos of it. Initially, it appeared to have a cloudy shape - appearing to look like a sea turtle with a tail. Then, when the cloudiness disappeared, it looked similar to a bat-shape with a large body. In the next photo it appears "U" shaped. In the next photo it looks like a rocket. Next it looks like a small fish shape. Then as an airplane comes in for a landing at our airport, it looks T-shaped and as it suddenly reduces elevation, it looks like a flying saucer. In the final photo as it came way down in elevation, it stopped seemingly nearby and it appears as a frog with only back legs. In every photo it is the same glowing blue color.

2 UFO’s flying in southern Oregon.

I was letting my dogs out in my backyard when I looked up and saw two things in the sky. One looked blue and another look like a star. I thought they were stars, but I then saw them move. The blue one moved a little, then the star one moved to the other side of the blue one. The star one moved farther and farther away from the blue one toward the sun. They moved in all directions, so I knew it couldn’t have been a plane.

I thought I also saw a red dog in the sky as well, which the star UFO looked like it went to it. They were pretty high up in the sky. There were two planes that passed in between them, so they must have not been low enough for them to see. I tried to show my wife, but she couldn’t see them. They were not right over Medford, but closer to Mt. McLoughlin/Crater Lake National Park area, maybe farther, but in that direction. They probably looked like stars because the sun was out.

Hovering disc shape craft floating about 200 ft in the air

To this day, I've never told anyone nor my friends. We were heading south from White City with my friends in my buddy's car. I was riding the back seat and my buddy's relative sitting passenger. It was a nice, beautiful day clear sky's with no clouds. We were taking the back road that runs next to Roxy Ann MT. which is the east side of the valley. As we got closer, I happened to look out the window to look at the view. I then looked up and just sitting there motionless about 200 ft above the ground was a black disc UFO just hovering above. I then immediately was shocked at what I was seeing and became to be fearful. I was so shocked that I couldn't even speak or shout as I was just paralyzed looking at this craft. The car was still moving, and I had to keep turning to look at it which was only about 1 minute. However, looking at the craft, I remember seeing this bright neon green light that came from the side of the craft that looked rectangle. I'm not sure what it was but neither do I know what I was all looking at. The black UFO looked like it had a metallic metal look to it, but honestly the whole craft had this dark, unsettling feeling that just didn't look natural nor is from this world. It was about a dark as the grim ripper, totally unsettling. I wanted to tell my friends, but they didn't see it and I thought they would have made fun of me or call me crazy. I kept looking as long as I could while we were driving away, but eventually I wasn't able to see it.

Myself and two neighbors witnessed red/orange steady light in sky traveling southeast. Single ball of light, never blinked. This event happened this past summer. My girlfriend and I were sitting outside in an alcove on the side of my house when we saw something moving in the sky. It appeared to be 3 white dots moving very high up in the sky. The three dots seemed to stay together in a triangle pattern and rotate in a circle, possibly indicating that it was one object giving off 3 light sources. We grabbed the best camera we had (Canon 70D) and tried to take video. It was so high up that we weren’t able to keep the camera stable enough for a video but we did get some pretty good photos, which I’ll be emailing. It was hard to keep track of it as the dots were white and it would move behind clouds now and then. There really isn’t much else to say about it except that we sat and watched the phenomenon for about an hour before they disappeared.

Watching the meteor shower, I noticed an extremely, twinkly object in the Eastern sky. I grabbed my binoculars to get a closer look and saw an object that I thought was stationary until it moved. It was changing colors; red, blue, green, purple, yellow and orange but in no pattern that I noticed. I went to get my kids so they could view it but they were asleep. As I watched it, it took off northbound.

Circular craft, 600-1000 ft off the ground, and would shoot up to the elevation of most high flying planes within a few seconds.

At the closest it was only about 3 blocks away. Alternating colors of blue and red and would occasionally turn ultra violet of maybe had camouflage. It was twice the size of a jet and could accelerate at inconceivable rates and stop on a dime and hover for several minutes.

It finally left by shooting off into the distance in just an instant, disappearing on the horizon.

Appearing almost due north, it at first seemed to be a bright star or planet but when it moved away was apparently a plane, but it moved from northwest to west and stopped, hovering in the west, opposite where the moon should be at 288 degrees east (so it wasn't the moon). It grew larger and brighter until it seemed as if it might come almost directly towards us and was visibly a sphere of some sort, and then, when we looked down to take a picture, vanished without warning. The sky was empty except for a few planes much farther away.

As i walked out the front door of my workplace,i looked up as i walked to my car,it was 5:14 am,i a bright light that looked like a star but i could detect it was moving slowly, so i got my ipod 5th gen out of my bag and tried to record it and got 1 still image, it made its way across the sky from the southwest corner of medford and went to the north east crossing over the valley in 2 minutes, although i did get a minute and a half of video, what i saw on my ipod screen didn't have as much detail in the video, when i was recording it i could see a shape more like a u with a total of 7 lights going around the u shape; 3 on each side and a light at its point.

I saw a blue light that dimmed bright and low over and over, disappearing and flying with possible other dimmed blue lights.

I decided to pull an all-nighter because I had at best 2 hours of sleep to get that night. So I'm sitting beside my window on my phone and I hear airplanes, so I guess that compelled me to look out the window (airplanes are normal around there). However, I notice a stationary blue light in the sky that is relatively small in my sight since it was far away. After looking at this light, I see it dim and then quickly shoot upwards while still dimming until it disappeared. It disappeared for a bit then reappeared stationary in the same general area one time, "dimmed" and disappeared again, and reappearing a ways further. At some points it would go dim to where I thought I saw multiple dimmed blue lights faintly moving around the sky. I do distinctly remember seeing a dim blue light flying left, then upwards while disappearing. This was most likely another ufo, but it's possible it was the same one I first seen just reappearing at another spot very fast.! What I took away from the experience was deep mystery and intelligence. The lights did not move like objects on a fixed course, but rather moved intelligently like an insect flies.

Was outside looking at the constellations with a friend. We were observing Orion’s Belt and trying to locate Venus, when I look to my left and see something wild. It is the brightest light I’ve ever seen in the sky at night, white/yellow/purplish colors. It was football shaped and relatively big.

The second I lay eyes on it, it flies extremely quickly to the left in a straight line and then in an instant vanishes. It left behind a shockwave in the sky that lasted about 4-5 seconds. I want to clarify that the light didn’t fly across the horizon, but rather, it vanished in a blink after flying for a bit. It was unbelievable.

Fire ball inferno on opposing valley wall. Then vanished.

I live in a town that sits in the middle of a valley "Rogue Valley". As I was driving to work along a outskirt road that looks over the valley, on the opposite side of the valley I saw huge flames looking like they where approx. 50-75 feet high, and about 50 feet long, along the ridge line of the opposing valley wall. I watched this inferno looking/fire ball/flames, for about a minute while driving until I turned off the road and the tree line obstructed my view from the fire.

I was extremely puzzled by what I saw, here in Oregon we had a few forest fires at that time around the area but none that could be seen from inside the rogue valleyfloor. I kept driving for a couple minutes and decided to make a u-turn, head back to try and see this again.

Turning back onto the road "foothills rd." where I witnessed the flames, proceeding back the same way I came from, looking for the flames, which I can best describe as looking like a raging forest fire that was lighting up the night sky with an orange aura, like a fire does. It was completely gone with not a trace or evidence that anything out of the normal was there only a few minutes a ago.

I parked my car, pulled off onto the side of the road where I believed I had the best vantage point when I witnessing the flames and got out, turned my car off and sat on the roof for 10 minutes hoping I could get a clue as to what I saw. Nothing. It had vanished.

What I witnessed was enormous, and has baffled me if it was a forest fire, as raging of an inferno it looked like it was. 50-75 feet tall. Could of just disappeared in a matter of minutes? It was not a forest fire but something else.

Bright white light moving over Medford, OR moving east accelerated out of site and disappeared as it approached a plane.

Looking north from Medford at 6:00pm I saw a bright white light moving east at about 5000 feet in altitude with no visible navigation lights. As I watched it, a plane heading in a westerly direction at about the same altitude appeared to be getting close to the object.

The white light slightly changed course and accelerated up at about a 20 degree angle from its previous trajectory as it changed color from white to orange and very quickly faded away in intensity as it disappeared.

Saw multiple cone shaped objects flying, hovering and moving in strange and horizontal ways I've never seen before. Very sudden and jerky movements!

Large multicolored disk radiating many colors w/ long hanging arms hovering over an hour above Griffin/Sterling Creek area.

~150'+ wide x 30' tall disk w/ dome in center, top and bottom. The glowing/flashing colors seemed to originate from the bottom dome, radiating out from the center to the rim of the disk and around its circumference. Along the disks edge it only showed as blue/green were as the center blurred all colors of the rainbow. Long 100' arms hung below and in front, curling and extending, moving like long worms and coiling like a snake, only visible by the radiating lights from the bottom of the disk.

It mostly sat over the Griffin/Sterling Creek area and no higher than Anderson Butte (~1/2 mile+ elevation above valley floor).

When it moved, it didn't seem like it was moving, but would suddenly appear closer/farther. Would occasionally wobble on its axis, giving a better view of the disk's full shape. Eventually drifted low and closer to the mountains, out of my view.

Woke up my mother to witness. When both of our eyes had adjust well to the lighting, we both could clearly make out the legs/arms extending out from the bottom/center of the disk.

Also, awoke two friends by phone who both watched from their houses. Confirming location, movement, size, color, duration. But angles, light, fatigue and eye sight caused my mother and I to have the best view.

The legs are still freaking me out.

Multi-color lights flashing a pattern.

While looking East/South East out of our window, my wife and I saw a strobing round light in the sky. It appeared to be changing colors so I retreived a pair of binoculars and again looked towards the object. Once in view it was clearly changing colors from red to blue to yellow to green and then repeating very fast. We we're both (my wife and I) able to witness this happen.

It then begain strobing in the pattern of what appeared to be a cross consisting of five (5) round dots. This went on for awhile and then it returned to the multi-color flashing pattern. It appeared to move in a Southernly direction very slowly and at one point we lost sight of it for approximately 3 minutes and then it reappeared approximately 5 degrees to the North.

The entire incident lasted approximatly 30-45 minute.

I witnessed these two craft accidentally on my way to work above Wellington Circle in Medford, Massachusetts.

I constantly look up in the sky as an amateur weather buff and lover of astronomy. So, as usual, I looked up and noticed a plane leaving a trail and then I looked back down, but did a very quick double-take because I subconsciously noticed something odd.

I saw two spherical objects in the sky, approximately 800 feet or so off the ground, flying side-by-side, heading north by northeast. As I walked along, I kept looking up and following them. They were over Kappy's Liquors on route 16 by the time I got to the 16/28 intersection.

The light changed and I needed to move, so I did and when I looked up again, they were gone.

I observed them a good 10 minutes and was in shock that no one else looked up as they saw me walking along and staring into the sky. I've seen UFOs before, but this is the first time I've EVER spotted them in daylight, much less at noon.

I've fought with myself over whether or not to report this with UFOCenter, but right now... I just feel I need to.

Description: -- Round, could not determine approximate size.

-- They were ~800 feet off the ground, about 100 feet apart, staggered formation.

-- They were a dull white color, but seemed to be sort of metallic.

-- They were moving steadily, but not very quickly. Maybe 30mph or so as I was observing.

I apologize for not having any pictures or video. I was just in so much awe that I was seeing them at that particular time of day, that I was more concerned with seeing if anyone else had noticed them.

I've only told two other people because, well, you know how people react when you tell them this sort of thing.

round silver saucer type craft just hovering.

driving back frommy doctor appointment on 4-3 aprox 410pm i saw up in the sky a typical "saucer type UFO", i saw this craft for 7-10 seconds just hovering about 500 feet up (maybe) I was driving and saw it,silver in color,round saucer just hovering. I couldnt pull over cause of traffic.

As i kept looking i passed a tree which blocked the craft for less than 1 second,and then it kind of moved away from me just a bit, then completely disappeared. (or size comparison- it was as big as an M&M candy about 7 inches away from your eye, no lights just a silver round disk.

I did circle to go back to where i saw this craft,but observed Nothing else.

I have submitted another report elsewhere,but was so excited I explained it rather wrong,and am submitting this one to clarify my sighting! round saucer shaped aluminum colored no noise hovering craft that disappeared in blink of an eye.

On return from docs office, I noticed a aliminum colored DISK hovering up in the sky. As i was driving in traffic i could not stop. It caught my eye and as i drove past a small tree (aprox 7 inch diameter) i noticed the craft slightly move (as if going away from me) then it just disappeared. ??? It seemed to be about 500 feet in the sky,off to my 1 o'clock,and just a little bigger then an M&M candy(for comparison size), only saw it for about 5 or 6 seconds. BUT I WILL NEVER FOR GET THIS!!!

a siting that seemed to be red balloons but was clearly not due to the spacing of the orbs? and behavior

we observed prox 15 orbs? they were red in color,they were at a elevation angle of prox 30 degrees. they were traveling north to south, they maintained equal spacing to each other except when they faded from view at which time they "seperated and changed to a ninety degree angle with respect to the ground. ( A SORT OF SWOOPING UPSHIFT)


An estimate is that they were at a distance of 2 miles from the viewers. At this distance they appeared to be prox two times the size of a star of medium brightness. They were at an altitude of approx 500 to 1000ft. they were headed due south ,when they separated from the prior regular distancing pattern,they seemed to converge on a common spot in the cloud cover. the weather conditions were heavy clouds at prox 1000ft.no est secured as of yet of the prevailing winds speed or direction.

the siting was made with a large hill in the background which has a height of prox 1000ft.

I heard what sounded exactly like when you light a"Jumping Jacks" firecracker if you know what I mean. That's the best descrpition of the sound, however i looked North from South Medford and an object with white and small blue lights couldn't even make the shape out. It started to rise almost straight up but at around a 30 degree angle.

I called my mom and girl who came out and we all watched and listened to this object eventually go straight up and then sit for about a miute and a half then drop at around a 20 degree angle left in front of us.After losing view do to a tree , it never appeared again.

UFO Landing in Medford, OR.

At 2:15 AM, 3 objects seen above a field across from an apartment complex on Hwy 99. First object at first a large white orb of light emitting two light blue colored beams of light. Other objects dirigible in shape with lights changing from red and green to blue and magenta in a pulsating fashion. 5 minutes later, first object begins landing process, as it gets closer to the ground, true shape is revealed to be a disk 25 feet in diameter, jet black in color, with cube shaped constructs on top of it. 3 minutes later, alien craft lands on the ground, with the 2 other objects orbiting above it. 2 minutes later, at 2:25 AM, I rushed across the highway to observe the craft up close. At 2:30 AM, began to slowly move towards the craft, and one minute later, came into physical contact with the craft. Surface of the craft is smooth and metallic to the touch with no scratch marks or indentations on it. No hieroglyphics or symbols on the surface as well. White light se! en beneath the craft. 2 other craft still seen orbiting above the main craft. After 12 minutes of studying the landed craft, the craft began making a humming noise, possibly signaling the start of the launch. Craft lifts up 20 feet into the air, shining the two beams of light, operating them somewhat like searchlights. Light beams move around in sweeping motion until one of the lights converges on me followed by the other. Lights focused on me for 30 seconds, then turned off. The main craft floats up to the 2 other craft and at 2:45 AM, all 3 craft fly off to the Northeast at a fast speed. Later returned to my apartment.

We saw at least 20 orange glowing oval sphere's flying in the sky heading from the south to the north. They traveled mostly two by two, formation style, very uniformed in shape size and speed with no sound. There was a cloud that they floated into and disappeared. With a plane you would see it appear on the other side. We did see a few flashes of lights, not sure what they were. One of the witnesses was on his way to work as an air traffic controller. He called it in and was advised there were no planes in that vicinity and so many of them. Every witness had the same reaction, nothing they have ever seen and truly a UFO.

i was sitting in my hot tub in my backyard at approx 0557am on 6/28 in medford,or.the sky was still very dark even those it was early am,traveling from the sw corner of the sky going in a diagonal direction going to the ne,I see s very bright round object in the sky,i was looking for the usual plane running lights or listening for a sound,i heard none.the light didn't seem to blink at all,but it seemed to flicker slightly with its brightness The object traveled at a slow plane speed like a cesna.,not the speed of a commercial jet,and it didn't appear to be high enough to be in orbit like a satalite and the fact that i picked up the light with my ipod touch 4th generation,proofs it was quite bright,because that cameras doesn't have the best resolution.i caught 45 seconds of video of this object,and then i stopped it,so i could walk across my yard because it was about to go over my house,and i didn't want the video to look awkward while i was walking,but when ! i walked around it was gone,and their was plenty of sky for miles that i can see,it was no where.

Sitting in my living room something caught my attention outside, when I looked out into the night sky I saw a large very sphere of bright white light in the Southwestern sky. Orange-red ball of light with jerky movements going North, then South, then West and vanishing over the skies of Medford, OR.

Orangish ball of light. Moved North, then South, then West. Lasted about 5 minutes and maybe less.

After it moved about, it just disappeared. I've never seen anything like it. Definitely was not an airplane or a helicopter or a satellite or even a meteor or an asteroid; I know because its movements were too jerky and random to be anything like that.

After the jerky movements, it just vanished. There was no explosion or anything like that. Just vanished.

The sighting was not extremely close to earth. It was relatively high in the sky, however was not so small to be a star or planet but it was not close enough for me to distinctly make out its features and there was a sort of haze around it.

20+ amber circles ( star appearence) shaped like a "reversed" Big Dipper. In minutes, circles appeared to dim or vanish

At first glance, the sky appeared to contain the "Big Dipper" in amber colored stars in the sky. However, upon study, unlike the Big Dipper, the "box shape" of this formation, was to the top right as opposed to the bottom right of the actual Big Dipper ; the circle shapes were amber in color and the formation of these round objects were in closer proximity of each other, as opposed to the distance between stars in the Big Dipper..

Continuing to view the object(s)- some of the lights appeared to slowly dim, while others simply vanished, in no particular formation.

Me and my friend were laying in a grassy hill in Medford, Oregon. We were on vacation, just counting bats and star-gazing. The stars were almost all visible, and the warm summer breeze swireled below them. As a third bat flittered close by, we were both completely calm and relaxed. Then we saw it.

I say "it" because I am still not positive what it was that we saw. Just a single light, much like the satelites that you some times see. Or a plane, or helicopter. But it was no satelite, was no plane or helicopter. It was for sure a UFO (unidentified flying object), and possibly and extraterresterial flying space craft.

All it was was a single light, and if looked just like a star. But it was very faint, then grew brighter and brighter, until it was as bright as the clearest stars. Then it started traveling around the sky, just a bit faster then a plane. Much faster than a satelite. It looped around the sky for roughly twenty five seconds, then eventually flew out of our sight. It was no shooting star, for it moved around the sky much longer than one would. It kept the same speed through out the whole time we watched it.

I have provided as many details as I can think of.

4 Star like objects moving east to west in the southern sky on Dec. 2nd @ 11:22PM

At 23:22 on December 2nd, 2010, my wife and I were outside enjoying a deadly cigarette break when I saw her face go completely blank. I immediately looked to the sky where she was looking, and saw the same thing she had. Four “star like lights” Traveling East to west.

THE SIGHTING I only knew to look to the sky by the look on my wife’s face. When I did, I saw four “star like lights” in a formation that resembled ascending stairs. The lights kept a generally same formation the entire time I saw them, but each light, for lack of a better term, wobbled independently of each other. I base my certainty of these lights being UFO’s because of; - The speed at which they traveled. Taking less than 3 seconds to leave my line of sight behind my house, when I ran through the yard to continue to watch them travel, they were no longer visible to me. Note* It is an overcast night tonight. I do not know if they became too far to see, or if they changed direction, or other explanation is necessary.

Their travel pattern. While their pattern remained “stairs-like,” stacked one atop the other with even spacing from each other, at approximately a 75 degrees pitch, each light seemed to carelessly wobble.

Position of Traveling Top: flight path Objects Bottom: Horizon My wife described their movement through the sky as Passeando, which in my understanding of Portuguese could mean walking, meandering, strolling, et cetera. I couldn’t have said it better, they moved at speeds that I could not imagine man-kind of capable of just yet. They made no noise, moved swiftly, yet as my eyes were upon them, it felt as if time slowed. Much like moments I felt as a high school athlete, when I was making a “big play” it almost felt as if I was perfectly focused and everything moved just as fast, but seemed slower.

looking North we saw a triangle shaped object in the sky, rapidly changing colors from blue, red, green and white, almost looked like it was spinning, at first thought it was some aircraft, but I have never seen a plane that big and bright before. Then it started moving to the left (west) just a little, stop, move some more to the left. It wasn't a type of movement that any aircraft would make. It kept moving left in weird jerky movement, until it had moved behind a tree and we could no longer see. Later farther west we saw something similar, but it was smaller, and this time it was moving right, but slower.

I saw a triangle shaped object in the sky above my back yard in Oregon.

I was in my back yard playing with my dogs around the beginning of July of 2009, it was roughly 15:30 hours. All of a sudden out of the corner of my view something irregular caught my eye. I turned to look at it, and saw what appeared to be a triangle of white dots. The sky was clear, with few clouds around. I scanned the sky for just a second or two, and by the time I returned my focus to where the object had just been, it was gone. This incident has stuck with me ever since, and even though I saw the object for just a second or two, I can still picture it perfectly in my mind.

The object as stated before was in the shape of a triangle. The three white dots were connected by faint white smoky/whispy lines which converged at the center of the object.

In the short moment that I saw the object, I didn't see it fly or move at all. It was stationary when it caught my attention, and seconds later it was just gone. After it had disappeared, I could see no smoke trails indicating where it had gone, nor did I hear any sounds indicative of a fast moving aircraft.

I recently saw a television program where I saw a filmed sighting of a remarkably similar object, which was filmed in California. After seeing this, I decided that I should document my sighting.

Cigar shaped object viewed through binoculars over Medford

At about 6:35 pm on Tuesday September 9, 2008, I was on the back balcony of my apartment when I noticed an object flying up high in the sky, traveling from south to north. My first thought was that the object was a airliner, however the speed of the object seemed slower than usual and there was no visible vapor trail, even though there were a few light clouds in the upper atmosphere.

I ran inside and grabbed a pair of binoculars and continued to observe the object. The binoculars are 10x50 and through them the object appeared to a little over 1/4 of an inch in size. The object was reflecting light from the setting sun, which highlighted certain details. It was cigar shaped and displayed no wings, tail or visible lights. The object appeared to be metallic and was bright white in color along most of its surface with a hint of red towards the rear. There seemed to be three large circular impressions that ran along the length of object. There was no discernible propulsion that could be seen.

I watched it though the binoculars for about two and half minutes before it flew out of my field of vision.

Bright white-blue light in the sky, the light moved, no sound, no other light. Object changed color, speed, and course quickly.

I was leaving my front porch for a walk this morning, it was dark, and I noticed a bright light behind me. This light was not usual for the time of morning.

At first I thought it was the moon because of the purity of the light, but the moon is not in the west at 5 in the morning. I turned and saw what looked like an extremely bright star; however, this star was moving from the southwest at a steady pace no faster than a jet-plane.

I watched the object move overhead and checked for running lights, flashing lights, and sounds. There were no colored lights besides the white-blue light, and no sound at any time.

When the object passed over me it light seemed to rotate from front to back and spin. As it spun it became brighter and cleaner to me. Following the moving light, the object changed course. It also changed from the white color to an orangish-pink color. I realized what the object was once it passed over head, having seen one many years ago. The shape, however, was different. The tear-shape was not exaggerated. There was only one (I searched for others). As far as my background, I and my father have had previous contact with a craft like this. My father (who died last winter) has notes on his experiences on the Ore. Calif. border in the seventies, and my own occured near the same region. The same kind of light moved very fast from Mt. Shasta.

I have also seen one being chased by Military aircraft while on a hunting trip. Do people who see UFOs often have more than one experience?

My father claimed he had a stand off with the light and took it very serious that is why I'm reporting this to you now.

Changing color, rotating lights with a hazy, "v-shaped" short light beam beneath.

Around 8:30pm last night I was sitting on my back patio with my dogs. What immediately caught my eye was a completely still, lighted object in the sky. I went through the usual eliminations; star, airplane, helicopter, weather balloon. None of these fit what I was seeing.

I started focusing on the object not as a whole, but in parts-trying to make sense of what I was seeing. First were lights going from left to right. There had been some red when I thought it was a plane. The lights I was now seeing were white. I couldn’t make out the shape of the object these lights were coming from. Then within the sequence of white lights, a red one was included. I almost missed that one as I had started my focus on the beam below.

The beam below was as wide as the lights that were going from left to right, narrowing down to a point in a “v” shape and ended not far below the lighted object. This light was a foggy white color.

When I looked back at the lights to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me, I green light was included in the white ones going from left to right. It was then that I knew I was seeing something I had never seen before and I needed to report this to someone.

A triangular set of three dim or orange lights were seen moving very fast and silently across the night sky over Medford, Oregon.

On the night of Sept. 11, 2007 myself, my son and his girlfriend were looking in the sky. At approximately 9:40 pm a triangular shape of three lights appeared directly overhead going from north to south traveling very fast and without a sound. It seemed to come into view not quite over head like a satellite does when it come out of the shadow of the Earth from the sun, but then continued consistent until it went behind the neighbor’s tree line. It lasted about a five to six second count. The lights were not bright. They were dim or orange in color.

Green/Blue Colored Lights fall from the sky in same location nearly twice a week around same time.

Me and my wife go for cruises everynight around 9-10 o'clock at night.

Lately, we have been seeing this strange orb of light that falls from the same compass direction around the same time of day once or twice a week.

The object starts its appearance at about a 45* angle from the NE horizon, and goes verticly down and passes the mountains out of site.

The object leaves a trail and a haze, plus it changes from the color blue to green.

We have noticed this since Feb. This year, 2007.

A cone shaped object with a long strip of lights that changed color, seen over Medford.

I was driving down a rural road in Medford, Oregon when I noticed 2 lights in the sky ahead of me. It is a very clear night.

I pulled over to see what they were. One was obviously a plane with a blinking light on it. The other one however was a what seemed to be a sort of cone shaped thing with one white light on the bottom and a strip of lights on the top part of it that would change colors from red, blue, green, and yellow.

The plane flew near it and then the object changed direction and flew over me (west to east) until it was out of sight.

The plane then flew in the opposite direction and then away from me (north).

The strange object seemed to be much bigger than the plane.

I took my dog out to do her business, and I looked up and saw what I thought at first was a satellite flying across the sky, but then realized I had never seen one go from one horizon to the other in a minute's time. As I watched it, it had a central dim lightsource with luminous fog-like emanations possibly smaller lights in a web like pattern coming from the center outward in the shape of a chevron.

Unidentified Falling Object - Not Meteor.

One very large falling object seen North by Northwest of Medford Oregon. Falling object was silverish blue with a white aura and very short trail. No smoke or long trail common with an object like a meteorite. It fell quickly from high in sky down below the visible horizon.

Approximately 15 minutes later 2 military helicopters approached the airspace near where it was seen while 2 F-16s were observed in a holding pattern outside that area.

Lot's of unusual air-traffic in the area for 5-6 hours afterwards.

Object seen over Medford, Oregon

Witnessed a darl colored, round object at roughly 50,000 feet altitude, traveling south at a speed of approximately 500-600 Knots. Object was headed south when first observedbut, performed a high speed, high G turn and altered heading to south-southwest and continued flying in that direction until obscured by a buildings roofline. Around 2 minutes later a commercial airliner passed through same area as the UFO (route is well traveled from Portland to San Francisco. I have over five years experience in the navy as a radar operator and 20 years experience as a merchant marine captain and can state that this object did not perform like a jet aircraft would. UFO's turn would have been impossible for any aircraft currently in US inventory. It was a rounded, 90 degree turn at a speed of 500 knots plus that took perhaps 4 seconds total. It left no vapor trail, even though the aircraft that went through same area moments later did leave one.Object appeared much smaller than any aircraft normally flying at that height, roughly 1/10th the size of the airliner that was nearby.

Fast moving object disappears into night sky

I am a Commercial pilot and was on the ground at the Medford (MFR) Oreogn airport at 3:00 am waiting for transportation. I looked into the clear sky to the north over towards the Rogue Valley VOR (navigation facility)and saw an aircraft, estimated at 10,000 feet, manuvering at very different angles of turns, circles, and other zig-zag patterns. The aircraft had a red/orange tint with no flashing lights or strobe lights. This seemed very odd. I thought for sure it was an F-16 from the K.Falls base doing some fooling around. I looked for another plane in trail(most travel in pairs), but their was nothing else.

All of the sudden, the aircraft started climbing straight up and disappeared into the night sky. I watched it as long as my eyes could see it. It never returned as I stood on the ramp looking for about an additional ten minutes.

There was no noise. I have never seen an aircraft move as quickly as this one.

I departed the airport and contacted Seattle Center for my clearance. I asked them if they had any traffic on radar over the last 15-20 minutes in the vicinity of MFR. They said no. I asked him if there had been any military traffic. Again the answer was no.

I think I may of seen my first UFO.

At night, 2 close lights flying fast parrallel to the ground for 5 seconds with absolutely no sound.

2 separate lights very close to each other with a possible short tail were viewed in the darkness of city lights streaking very fast across the sky. They were perhaps 20 degrees above the horizon flying parrallel to the ground from NNE to SW. There was absolutely nothing audible with the event.

The hovering spotlight simply went out and disappeared completely

My roommate and I were exiting off I-5 onto Crater Lake Hwy at dusk when we saw a bright spotlight hovering slightly up and down just a few hundred feet off the ground with no sound. Medford is in a valley and the light was below the hilltop line. We've both been in the military and we know it wasn't a helicopter or balloon or fireworks. After a few minutes, the very bright spotlight went out extremely suddently and there was nothing left in the sky. It was simply gone.

It was a bright light looked like a really bright star. It was going east floating slowly then it turned south east and zig zagged slightly kept going south east then slowly faded out. There were others after that, but they weren't as bright. When it faded out it turned a red color.

Bright flickering light in southwestern sky.

There was a single bright light that was in the area to the southwest. To the naked eye, it had no shape, and appeared to be a flickering white. However, after looking at it with binoculars, it appeared to be triangular in shape and clearly change colors (quickly enough to make it appear white). I first noticed it around midnight, and watched it move all over the southwestern sky until I went to bed around twelve fourty. The observation occured on the northeastern end of the city, almost to the foothills of Roxy Ann.

We suspect the witness observed a celestial body, a star or a planet, but we are not certain. The object could not have been Venus, which sets earlier in the evening, and it could not have been the star, Sirius, which would be in the southern sky at the hour, and on the date, indicated. The witness might have been looking at Jupiter or Saturn, but that is a guess. PD

just prior to going to work at a local factory, I was out behind the building ,where it was dark,the sky was partly cloudy,temp was around 40 degrees,I noticed a bright object to my south, it was not moving at this time, the object was brighter than any star in the sky,after seconds,of pondering ,the object moved at a high rate of speed skyward, in 5 seconds it was out of sight, the same type incident hapened to me about a year ago, the bright object was so white it looked allmost blue,and flew away from the earth at an alarming rate, passing stars,untill it was out of sight.

My sons caretaker was standing in the parking lot in Meford, Or. last Wednesday and saw a bright orange/red ball coming over the Table Rocks which are north of the airport. The ball traveled south over Medford and broke up into 3 and then 6 separate balls of orange/light and continued south toward Ashland. He said they were as high as the planes usually fly and did not appear to be coming down but kept flying at the same altitude the whole time he could see them.

Huge, round, white light hovering over freeway overpass

I was traveling south on an I-5 freeway overpass through the downtown area of Medford. There was a huge circular white light above me to the left, not too high above the treetops which lined the side of the freeway. It appeared to be the round, flat, glowing white bottom of an object, and I could not see the shape of it above the bottom surface. It was just sitting in the sky, unmoving, unblinking. I estimated it to be the size of a football field, large enough to hold a neighborhood of houses. There weren't many cars on the freeway, and they, like I, were continuing down the freeway, unable to stop. I don't know if anyone else saw it, and because of my rate of speed, it disappeared out of my view quickly. It certainly could have been there longer than 30 seconds, but I could not look back because of traveling on the freeway, and could not stop because there is no shoulder on the overpass.

I was going to Staples(the store) and all of a sudden I saw a bright light like a star appeared.It was moving in a funky way. Then a plane went near it and tried to follow it.I do not no if it was a commercial or army.Then came The Cylnder object. It had an upper station with windows and one blinking red light and the craft was sationary.I looked around and saw a black car with tinted windows and the linsinse plate was U.S. Govenment.I was really freaked out the rest of that week.

I left my house to go to stples in Medford Massachusetts, to copy something for a project. When we pulled up i got out of the car, and i looked up in the sky because something caught my attention. When i looked up i saw a star like object swurving around, in an irregular pattern so it was not a meteor, comet, astroid or plane. Then of all the sudden an American aircraft appeared, i do not know if it was a commercial, or an army because it did look like a commercial but i swear i saw a side-winder missle on it. Then the cylinder shaped object appeared. It was cylinder in shape and on top it had a thick oval top, and a blinking red light on top of the upper level, and also on the upper level it was surrounded by black windows, and it was staionary. I was really the only witness because my mother had gone into the store, and two people looked up looked at me but then entered the store. When i walked into the store the 3 objects( the star, plane, and "UFO") where no where to be seen, also i could of sworn i saw a black car with tinted windows, and the liscense plate said U.S goverment, Im not too sure about the car though. Thats all.
