I saw what I thought was a star and it had stayed there for quite some time. All of a sudden it dropped from the sky and disappeared over the horizon. My friend was standing right next to me. We were amazed at what we had seen.

Lights over Geneseo

I received a call from the neighbor that there were five lights in the sky heading west. I walked outside to see my neighbor and her father outside looking at the lights. I witnessed three of the lights in a triangle formation then two, then they faded out. The lights were not blinking and were orange in color.

I call our local airport (MLI) and they had not seen or heard of any incident.

dull red lights in 3 half circles over Geneseo, NY during lunar eclipse of 2004 (red moon)

During a college sponsored Halloween event I was participating in the group I was doing a scene with had a break between tour groups and we were talking out in our schools arboretum (where the event was taking place). I was 21 at the time and the other witness was 18.

Mid sentence one of the other actors stopped talking and started staring at something in the sky, I immediately looked up and saw what he was watching and we both followed it across the sky until it disappeared. The object at first struck me as a low laying cloud as it was kind of hazy but it appeared to be moving quicker than most clouds would as the night was not windy. Upon looking closer there were three rows of dull red lights. They were shaped in a half circle. When the object disappeared from view we heard a single noise that sounded like a goose honking but we did not see any geese in the area or in the sky.

After seeing this the fellow and I stared at each other in disbelief and then described the exact same thing to each other, finishing each others sentences. We kept an eye on the sky after that but nothing else was seen. Neither one of us had been drinking that night or were under any other influences.

This location is in the middle of cornfields in upstate NY.

Observed a strange circular spotlight on ground in rural area

I was on my way to work, driving along a rural route between Conesus Lake and Geneseo, NY. That area is pretty much all farm country, and at the time there was at least 8" of snow on the ground from a previous snowfall. The night was clear and very cold...around 20 degrees Fahrenheit.

I came to a stop at a remote four-way intersection, and sat at the intersection, and carefully looked both ways for traffic. While looking to the left, a circular light suddenly appeared on the snow, as if someone was shining a spotlight straight down. The light was approx. 30 feet in diameter, and was about 150 feet from my position.

There were no houses in the immediate area, and there was no sound being made. I was driving my winter car, an old Camaro, and the curvature of the window restricted me from looking up to see the source of the light, and the window handle was broken, so I couldn't roll the window down in order to put my head outside to get a better view.

At this point I sensed that something very strange was happening, and pretty much floored the accelerator to exit the area as fast as possible.

When I got to work, I was relating the incident to a few of my co-workers, when another worker (an off-duty policeman) arrived and announced that his police radio was bristling with reports of strange lights and ufo's all over the region.

Early morning abduction

Report of UFO Contact in the year 1970 summer.

I was eleven years of age and lived on a farm with my parents, grand parents, three younger brothers and one sister. We lived approximately 21 miles west of the town of Geneseo, IL. Our closest neighbor lived just across the road and down about ¼ mile and our house was almost completely surrounded by woods.

One night in the summer, I became aware that I was not in bed in the basement of the house where I and my siblings slept but rather I was sitting on a bench in a “room” with one adult male who was about in his mid 20's. The room was constructed of metal as were the benches, there was one door in the compartment and on either side of the door were “windows” from which I could see a passageway going to the left and right and had a slightly slanted inward wall turning into the ceiling of the passageway. The other person in the compartment with me sat on the bench to the left side of the door and completely ignored me even when I shook him and tried to get him to look at me, he just sat on the bench with his elbows on his knees gazing downward between his legs at the floor. I tried to open the door but it was locked and I got up on the bench to the right side of the door and leaned against the glass which slanted outward and tried to see something beside the metal walls but ! all I saw was an empty passageway. The room was lighted but I did not see any source of light such as a light bulb.

After I looked around the basically empty compartment I again tried to get the adult male in the compartment with me to pay attention to me and help me understand what was happening to us but still he just sat there. I looked up at the window and saw a “creature” about 4.5 feet tall, I think covered almost totally with a reddish long hair but his face looked human like and it did not pay any attention to us in the compartment, just slowly walking by the window. I was very scared and when I'm afraid of something of someone I tended to attack. I jumped on to the bench and them beat on the “glass” and screamed and tried to break the glass but at the same time was scared to death I would break it. The being just kept walking by and it was shortly there after that I stopped remembering anything.

I woke up the next morning about 4:30 when it was time to go do the morning chores. I never did tell my parents or anyone else because I was sure that they would not believe me. Additionally, I did not know the other person in that compartment with me. I have never had another incident like this that I can recall. As far as the creature that I saw there, I have never seen anything like it again until the time I watched the movie Star Wars and that “Woki” had some resemblance to the being.
