2 pulsating bright lights that were vertical shape. The object took off to the north like a bullet. Was illuminating the clouds.

Looking at the moon you can see a star or planet to the lower left. The object was to the lower right. I realized I have not seen it before when it began to flash or pulsate. The red and yellow lights were very bright. Two lights that seemed to be vertical in shape. It suddenly took off to the north as the bright lights dimed then went out of view. It was higher then the clouds. I noticed the lights would illuminate the clouds . It's speed was to fast to be a helicopter.

5 second pulsating light low altitude moving steady and fast

I looked up in the sky and saw a low altitude pulsating light moving very fast then disappearing. It was overcast I could see a few stars and they were fuzzy just as this light was. I can see an airplane above I could see the cell towers from bays mountain.

I have seen all hemispheres of the sky. I have seen the Milky Way in Peru because of no light pollution. I have seen rockets I have seen starlink I have seen falling stars I have seen satellites and space stations. I have seen the helicopters and airplanes and drones and cell towers. I have some meteors and comments and eclipses.

This was none of these things.

Oscillating Star looking object. 2 blue moving lights that disappeared. One circular flash of light

Star looking object that appeared to be slightly moving back and forth and oscillating light. Similar to a star but more pronounced. A moving blue light appeared out of nowhere near it. It was doubled in size to the white starlike object. It moved for 3 seconds then disappeared. About 10 seconds later it reappeared in a different location, but still near the object. It disappeared after a few seconds. A few minutes later a white circular flash (.5 second duration) appeared much farther south and closer to me. I when I returned a short time later to check on it, the object was gone and nothing similar anywhere nearby. When I tried to get compass coordinates, my phone compass is swapping east and west

*I did not have my phone to catch the blue lights. The video does show up the starlike object slightly moving and fluctuating light. It is subtle and was more noticeable in real life. The video does show the circular flash at the tree line around 11 second on video time line

Four bright orange spheres drift randomly above tree line then head north, fading as they go.

At about 10:20 PM on May 21, 2021, I stepped out on the porch on the west side of my home. A light in the sky, just above the tree line and due west, caught my eye. A few minutes previously a small plane had passed by, also due west, moving from the NW in a southerly direction, with the usual running lights and strobe. This, however, was a bigger “blob” of light, very orange, basically spherical but not perfectly so, randomly changing in intensity. It drifted from NW to SW, continuing to “pulse” arhythmically. There was no sound at any time. After maybe 10-15 seconds three more lights, very similar, all orange, drifted in from behind the treeline. They all traveled around lazily, with random changes in velocity and slight changes in direction. All orange and very bright, sometimes dimming slightly or appearing to go translucent. They didn’t settle into any particular configuration, and never too close to each other. All remained just a few finger widths abov! e the treeline, then all four began to drift north.

At this point I dashed into the house to get my husband out of bed. He hustled out with me but the lights had gone. After a few seconds a single one drifted up from the treeline WSW of us, then headed NW, again very slowly and with a sort of jerky, random velocity change movement. It faded out as it passed to the north.

The whole sighting lasted maybe four minutes.

I have phone video but it’s not very helpful. I’m attaching an image I made in Photoshop which more accurately depicts what I saw. These were not satellites. There were wispy clouds and these objects moved in front of the clouds.

Bright unexplained light east of Kingston Illinois

My boyfriend and I headed to bed around 10:50 pm he went to bed first I fed my son then was going into bed when I noticed out our window facing east a bright light that was changing colors it had to of been in Genoa Illinois. I sat there for a few minutes watching it unsure if it was a helicopter but it wasn't moving and it also wouldn't have been so bright so I told my boyfriend to look out the window to see he also was clueless in what we are seeing. A few more minutes go by and it just disappeared. Very strange this is the 2nd time I've seen this but the first time someone else seen it with me so this time im reporting it.

My friends and i went out to smoke om a game break... We live right by the lake. We all noticed a cigar shaped craft really low on the water. At first we thoight was a boat. Then it began to rise into the air to am estimated 60 ft height. Then we noticed another cigar shaped craft come into view in the sky and lower into a hover over the lake. The craft stayed in position over the lale for 10 to 15 minutes then began am ascent to match the other crafts height. We all noticed water coming off the craft even though it clearly didnt touvh the water. Which lead us to believe these craft were collecting water. After 2 or 3 minutes the craft started lighting up in alternating color of green,red,blue. They then bagan ascending slowly at first then just vanishes into space too high to see or just gone.

multicolored cluster of lights hovering in western sky viewed from Kingston NY

the object was seen looking west about 20-30 degrees over the horizon. It wobbled like an enormous star or planet but through binoculars I could see it consisted of a cluster of lights, white, orange/red and green/blue. I watched it for 20 minutes and it did not move, just kept hovering in a wavering motion. A helicopter and jet passed but didn't seem to notice. Don't know how long the object was there b/c after 20 minutes I went inside. I don't see it tonight.

Slow moving, glowing white rectangle with rounded ends and blinking lights at one end.

Last week, I woke up one night at 3:30 a.m. to turn off the fan I had running in my upstairs bedroom window. The blinds were pulled up and I looked out to see the meadow and trees behind my townhouse. To my surprise, up in the sky – several miles away was something I have never seen before. It was a long rectangle with rounded ends. It was white – glowing – large and quiet. There were blinking lights on one end of it. It moved very slowly through the night sky while keeping parallel to the earth but moving closer to the ground before going what seemed to be straight down. Then it was obliterated by the trees and I could not see it any more.

I know it was not a plane – it was too low in the sky and too large to not be heard. Also, it did not move like one. I was transfixed by it. I always thought I would feel great excitement or fear if I ever saw one, but I didn’t. It just mesmerized me. After it disappeared I went to bed. I have not seen it since.

I am a college educated, open-minded and grounded person. I understand this may not have been a UFO – but for the life of me, I cannot imagine what else it could have been.

Large green fireball sighted falling south of Kingston, MA.

Driving east on route 106 in Kingston near cranberry bogs at 4:21 AM EST.

Distinct green fireball flew downward in a straight path, exactly perpandicular to the horizon, and past the treeline. It flew just to the left of the moon, 160° South.

The light was much larger and brighter than a shooting star, but with comparable speed and duration, as well as a tail.

The sky was hazy at the time.

i was star gazing while i let my dog outside looking up at the stars. The first four objects i saw looked like a very dim lit star in the sky. no blinking lights just a star moving across the sky. the lights were moving in a grid like pattern back and forth up and down.

at the point i went inside to grab binoculars. i knew it wasn't natural what i was seeing, but i wasn't convinced it was a ufo until what happened next. when i returned with the binoculars i was still tracking this star light object. what convinced me was the object made a 90 degree turn and as it did there was a flash of blue light. the light lasted a second and objected continued to cross parallel in front of me. as i was following it with my eyes it looked like it stopped behind some clouds. when i was looking at the cloud it looked like there was lightening in the cloud. small flashes of light were coming from behind the cloud and the object never reappeared.

Blimp, Plane or what was that overhead one moment and disappeared the next.

I was driving East on NE Country Woods Lane at about 15 miles per hour. I observed an aircraft that may have been a blimp about 200' above the ground that looked similar to an airbus 320 but was much shorter in length and much wider in diameter, more like a pregnant guppy shape. It seemed to be traveling directly South at about a speed of 35 miles per hour.

Within a few seconds of observing it--it went out of my sight because of large trees blocking my view. I continued East for about 5 seconds and my sight was no longer obscured and the floating object was not there at all. From this point of view I could see over 1500 feet and my vision was unimpaired all the way from the East thru directly South to the West.

The sky was totally blue skies at that time except for one small white cloud visible to me directly where I had extrapolated the object would be, factoring in its apparent speed and direction.

If anyone in the immediate area was looking up they should have easily seen the object.

Shooting star like object moving behind the cloudy night sky over and over again.

I was driving down the road (NE west Kingston rd) passing the high school when i looked up in the sky and saw something fly behind the clouds (about 8:18) and i thought it was just shooting star but it happened a sec later and then again but only to change direction, i didnt get time to see what happened but i continued down to my friends house to pick up something i looked up at the sky only to see it happen again and again but it was doing a L like Pattern and my friends house and he saw it two, but i was creeped out and left. (about 8:38) when i left did not see how long this lasted but my friend went back inside and went to sleep, he did not make much of it but i was creeped out. Then i went back to my house but could see past the tree line.I tryed to take a video but my phone could not make out what was going on, it was to dark. ((DESCRIPTION) It looked like a flashlight in a foggy field but moving vary fast in the sky almost like a very bright shooting star but shooting stars don't change directions and don't happen in the same spot over and over again. My Husband was outside letting our Dog out. He called me out to look at something as soon as he pointed to the sky I saw 2 fireballs one right after another coming from the West then curving moving South. A few minutes later a couple more came, I actually went inside to put on a jacket when I came back out there were 2 more. And why I say there was 9-10 is that my husband had seen some before I even got out there. They all traveled from and to in the same direction. Very strange…

At approximately 10:00 pm a spherical orange like began to ascend from the trees. It ascended 55 degrees and then turned into what looked like a disco ball of lights and emitted three more crafts which flew northeast in the direction of our home. Three more orange spheres followed and repeated the cycle. As the little crafts were flying around the original ball of light lit the sky up orange. At the end of the event we counted upwards of 25 objects in the sky and were left dumbfounded at what we just witnessed.

Chillicothe lights

Traveling south from Kingston to Chillicothe on OH ST RT 159. Six helicopter sized (perspective) lights appeared staying stationary. Only two showed at first flashing twice on an off by themselves alternating.

Then the other four lit from the closest to the furthest. An swiftly changes from there upward U shape to a triangle, before disappearing all together. The pulses of lights or lights were comprised of multiple individual lights. Slight variants of white yellow and orange appeared. These were the only lights visible in that area the light pollution of Chillicothe floods out the stars to a certain height.

Saw lights in the sky as i was driving home from work was making irregular movements couldnt have been a plane.

was coming home from work and dropping off a friend of mine when i looked up and noticed lights in the sky. at first i thought it was a plane but it was moving much faster and a little lower.

Kingston, NY Two brilliant red stationary lights accelerate quickly in coordinated fashion and disappear

Coming home from work south on Highway 32, just south of Kingston Bridge. Two very brilliant red lights, below cloud cover, seemed to be hovering over the land fill to my left. They were stationary because as I continued north to the stoplight that leads to the entrance of the land fill, I was getting closer to them and the angle changed. When I stopped at the stoplight they were pretty close, still brilliant red, no blinking--one was higher than the other at about a 45 degree angle. I noticed that the driver in the vehicle to my right (I was in left lane) was looking at them too. Before our light turned green the two lights suddenly and in completely coordinated fashion, accelerated quickly to the north and disappeared. I've been living in this area for some time and am familiar with the various helicopters and small planes that frequent the area. (There is a small private airport about five miles south of where the sighting occurred). I've never seen any! thing quite like this before.

Unexplained Bright Stationary Flash of Light Kingston WA

Date: 10/28/2013 TIME: 20:17 PDT Country: United States State: Washington City: Kingston Sighting: Unexplained Bright Stationary Flash of Light I had just put the dogs into the house after our evening walk. I live in a rural area (it’s very dark) and often gaze up at the sky and practice picking out constellations or stars. I have done this almost all my life and I have never seen anything that I could not explain outright.

On Monday October 28th at approximately 08:17 PM PDT I was facing SW and at around 70 degrees above the horizon just above some tall fir trees I saw a bright light turn ON like a flashlight in the sky then turn off approximately 1 or 2 seconds later. It was not moving. It was approximately 7 to 10 times brighter than the stars around it and most certainly not an aircraft light. It may have been 3 times the size of the closest star. I waited and it occurred again approximately 2 minutes later.

Although a dull sighting, it was odd enough to me that I figured if someone else saw it and was hesitant to report it they might see my report and add a corroborating report. I noticed a similar report in Kennewick on 10/20/2013.

I SAW AN OBJECT FLY ABAUT 150 FEET ABOVE TREES GOING WEST COLLOR BLUE AND GLOING BRIGHT IT DESAPERED WIT IN HALF A SECOND.

IT WAS VERY REAL TO ME. IT WAS THERE GOING AT A HIGH SPEED A THEN IT DESAPERED.

Around and about 5:00am-5:30am my grandmother and I we out side the front door of our house to take the garbage cans back in from the sidewalk when she yells out oh my god look as I looked up about 500ft above the trees there were a squadron of at least 50 oval matalic shaped crafts headed north bound up the Hudson River. There is NO DOUT that what we saw was not from this world. One of the crafts moved so much faster than any thing I've ever seen!!

These were not planes they were low enough to see the way the metal on the crafts fit together!!!!!!

Hollow letter Y surrounded completely in a gaseous liquid fiery type plasma. Whole body flexing n twisting slightly.

It was an upside down "hollow letter Y". The bottom of Y was the nose. The body length and twin tails seemed to be flexible and moving..like it was alive or gel like. It also seemed to be constantly surrounded in liquid like flames (or even better, like a gaseous looking lava or plasma?) that circulated inward towards its center, and then back out and around the structure, all the way around it. I was mildly twisting and contorting. Like if you took your thumb and first two fingers, pointed your thumb down towards the floor and fingers up towards the ceiling, and randomly wiggled them super slow ..like worms or caterpillars.

It came closer and was moving rather slowly for its size. We were in the midst of total overcast and slight drizzle with lots of heat lightning at the time. Later in the evening we had full out lightning, thunder, pouring rain. but about 4 hrs prior, as the atmosphere was stirring up, I watched this vessel come out of the clouds and then fade back in behind them lasting for a total view of approximately 5 minutes.

I don't have the words to honestly describe this phenomenon. I'm still awestruck a day later.

White flaming orb going south over Kingston.

I was watching the sky marveling at the stars, when a white orb with a flickering white flame zoomed past overhead going south. It was at 1000 ft.- 5000 ft. & was not a contemporary aircraft; it had no contrail nor tail so it was not an asteroid. I suppose it was a military drone. Were such aircraft in the area, or are such aircraft stationed in the area?? It was probably going 200 mph - 400 mph. in vicinity of Hurley Ave.over the woods.

Two Lights seen over Hudson River in Kingston, NY on 32 South

Was coming home from work in Rhinebeck. Crossed Kingston/Rhineclif Bridge and turned south onto 32/Flatbush Rd. Noticed two lights slightly to my left through front windshield but dismissed them as stars or possibly small planes. Was listening to music and thinking. As I passed a the Rondout Services center on the left I glanced up and noticed the lights were still there but brighter. They were also a reddish color. I also noticed that they were below the cloud cover because it was thin and fuzzy stars could be seen through them. These lights were very bright and not hazy in the same way.

I still thought they were planes or helicopters, but noticed that they didn't seem to be moving. But since I was in motion I couldn't tell. I continued to watch them and it became very clear quickly that they were stationary in the sky because, as I continued they seemed to be getting closer and the angle between them and my view was changing. I was approaching a perpendicular angle to them and I noticed they were quite a bit lower and closer than I originally had thought. By the time I got to the stoplight at the waste management station they were right in the frame of the driver's side window. It's a lengthy light, so I took the time to roll down the window and stick my head out to really get a good look. At that point they were right in front of my line of view out the window. One appeared to be about 40 degrees up from the horizon (there's a rise to the left, then the Hudson River, which is about a mile away from that point) and the other was higher, to the left, at ! about 60 degrees. I glanced at the car next to me (I was in the left hand lane), and at least the driver of that vehicle had also noticed the lights and was clearly looking at them. Our eyes met briefly in recognition of what we were seeing. He was also speaking to someone, but whether it was to a passenger--couldn't see into his vehicle--or into a speaker phone I couldn't tell.

When I stopped and actually really looked at the lights, they were clearly stationary, very bright, steady reddish lights, very shiny. All of a sudden, on cue, as it were, and right before the stop light turned (it almost seemed timed), the two lights very rapidly and in perfect tandem and coordination, veered at right angles to the left. They went from stationary to rapid motion literally at once. I remember thinking..."ok, this is just too weird, it's just how it's supposed to be, why couldn't it have been something else." I drove on through the light and a little ways down the road was able to look back briefly to see if I could tell where they were heading, and I couldn't see them again. I don't know if they speeded up and disappeared or what, but they were gone.

When I got home my partner and I plotted the sighting on a topographical map of Ulster county that we have on the wall. Based on that, and depending on their elevation, we figured out that the lights either had to be over the Hudson itself, or close to being over S. Rhinebeck.

I don't know if anyone else saw anything, but I know at least one other driver did.

I observed a falling flash of light that dropped from the sky very close to me from my balcony on abeel street. It was white then blue. Almost like a falling spark with no noise or smoke and way to close to be a shooting star.

Was driving Northbound on the NYS Thruway, just before Kingston, NY exit (number 19) when right in front of us up in the sky was a bright greenish and orange color light that shot downward toward the earth. It changed colors slightly as it was descending from an orange to green to a white/yellow. Was dropping fast and was very bright, not faint or hard to see at all. Could this have been a meteor or something else?

red star weaving back and forth across the sky

i go to the university of rhode island, we have an airforce base about 5 miles from campus with constant low flying military planes so i was very hesitant at first to believe what i saw. i was on the roof of the building i live in just looking at stars.at first i thought it was a shooting star, it would follow a shooting star comming from the south then would stop directly above me, weave in and out of the big dipper slowly, then speed up towards polaris and make a full loop and shoot back towards the west, weaving in and out of stars. it appeared each time as a red star. i thought it was a shooting star but it came back 5 more times, each time varying speed and changing its direction. the last time it appeared as a blinking star then when i noticed it was pulsating, it shot to the east, then immediatley back to the west. about 15 minutes after the sighting there were 1-2 , low flying military helicopters flying across the campus from the west to the east w! hich is EXTREMELY unusual, we have low flying planes but never low flying helicopters.

16 Amber Lights Flying in a Straight Line Over Tennessee.

At approximately 1 AM EST 16 amber lights appeared in the skies over Kingston, TN. The objects were moving from North to South at approximately 1-2 thousand feet. They had a very bright orange glow that seemed to pulsate yet emitted no sound. The lights were moving swiftly yet steadily possibly 150-200 mph. The objects seemed to be in a large yet distinguishable line and did not deviate from that pattern. At 1:15 AM I called the non emergency number to our county dispatch and reported the incident to the police. I then walked to a neighboring house to get confirmation of what I was witnessing. A pair of binoculars was used to view the lights. While we were unsure of the exact shape of the objects, we agreed the general shape and size was around 50 feet long and seemed to be triangular but because of the glow we could not be sure.

AT 1:20 I called a friend who lived across town and asked them to go outside to look for the objects and he also confirmed our s! ightings. One by one the objects blinked out and disappeared in the same general area. This display lasted 30-45 minutes and was observed by 4 people that I know of 1 of which was a police officer.

The objects were not fireworks, blimps, known aircraft, weather balloons or flares.

Two lighted black triangles North of Kingston, WA

On Friday August 13, 2010 I was watching meteor showers in my yard when I noticed two unusual objects in the sky. The objects were triangular in shape, vertical with the apex pointing straight up. Inside the triangles were undulating white, green and red lights that morphed around inside the triangles like colored bubbles inside a lava lamp. Each triangle was about the size of a dime at arm’s length.

Initially the triangles passed from the south toward the north in a somewhat horizontal path and stopped due east about 45 degrees above the horizon. At the same time I saw an airplane pass in front of the triangles and then I saw a satellite pass over them. They were bigger than the jet airliner so they must have been at least 100 feet on a side. The objects were distinctly different from either the airliner or the satellite. The objects were about as high as the plane and beyond it a ways.

Once the triangles stopped, they slowly moved around in the sky, up, down and sideways with no particular pattern to their movements. At times they hovered nearly still in their positions and then they would resume their dance. The objects were never touching and did not remain adjacent to one another.

Eventually they started moving directly upward. The triangle on the right stayed in position lower than the one on the left.

As I watched the objects ascend, a deer entered my yard and startled me. When I looked back, I could no longer see them.

My buddy and I were sitting on my back porch and viewing the stars. We see three circular lights that form a triangular shape. We notice it is low to the tree tops but there was no light on the tree tops.

As soon as we saw the vesse, it moved forward then directly horizontally and then shot straight forward and was out of sight.

We were departing the ferry when I looked off to the south sky and noticed a red very slow pulsating light approx. 3000 feet up. I told my wife ( former flight attendant ) who was equally surprised at how odd this pulsating light was. As we walked we both noticed another couple that was looking at it about 20 feet ahead of us. They were both very excited stating that they had never seen anything like it - we all just stood there and stared at it as it slowly ascended - straight up - not across the horizon, it became smaller and smaller in size and eventually became just a pin-point tiny little red pulsating light and then gone.

We all looked at each other amazed and all agreed that we had seen something unusual - this was a really strange event, one that my wife and I are still talking about today.

I had just happened to glance out my bedroom window, which looks out into the front yard, and noticed either a very large or very close ball of white light. The best I could explain it's location is that it was hovering a few dozen feet over my neighbor's house, but since I wasn't able to determine exactly how close or how far away it was, it may not have been over his house at all and only appeared that way. I immediately reached for my camera phone, fumbling with it as I tried to power it on. By the time it was turned on though and I had it aimed out the window the light was gone. The entire experience lasted anywhere from ten to thirty seconds.

White dot speeds across the sky, disappears and returns on differnt path.

My friend and I were on the back of a ferry crossing from Kingston, Washington, to Seattle, Washington, when both my friend and I saw a white dot moving quickly across the horizon in the late evening. The white dot flew across the horizon faster than anything else in the sky.

After about 5 seconds of cruising in a straight line, it disappeared. Approximately 7 seconds after that, the white dot reappeared and traveled along a different path until it disappeared.

Background: Observer 1 (me): I am 25 years old and recently graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Human Resource Management. I currently work at Safeco Insurance. This is the third UFO I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Observer 2 (my friend): He is a 25 year old retail fitness manager. I believe this is the first UFO he has seen.

A star-like object that moved rapidly and erratically in a clear sky, then sudden disappeared.

On Friday night, 7/24/09, I was staying alone at my country place near Kingston in NW GA, about 15 miles from the nearest metropolitan areas (Cartersville, Rome). It was a clear moonless night, so I hoped for some good night sky viewing (even though I’m no astronomer).

Shortly before midnight I went out to look at the sky, and easily spotted the Big Dipper in the NW sky, and Polaris. I happened to be looking towards an open space between some trees to the NE, at about 45 degrees above the horizon, and could see a number of stars though I couldn’t name the constellation.

Movement caught my eye, and I noticed a light that looked like a star (no apparent size, shape or color) which seemed to be moving with respect to the fixed stars in a 10 o’clock direction. At first I assumed it was a distant airplane, although its angular speed seemed large for the apparent distance, given that I heard no sound. What first startled me was that after a few seconds it suddenly changed direction by more than 90 degrees with no apparent curve to its trajectory. A few seconds later it started moving erratically (like Brownian motion) at high rates of angular velocity; then it almost stopped at a point about which it jittered rapidly (like a laser pointer that someone is trying to hold still). A couple of seconds after that the light suddenly disappeared.

Up to that time it had been in clear sky (not close to the tree cover), and the nearby stars remained clearly visible just as before it disappeared. The whole event lasted no more than 10-15 seconds.

Afterwards I felt rather stunned, asking myself if I had really seen what I thought I saw...I couldn’t begin to explain it to myself. The object’s rapid angular movement, changes of direction and sudden disappearance made no physical sense. I waited, watching in the same direction, for perhaps 5 minutes but saw nothing more of an unusual nature.

I am 60 years old, with a BS in Physics and have worked in engineering most of my career. I’m not a religious person or a follower of any sort of cult or even interest group. I simply perceived an event in the sky like nothing I had ever seen before, which appeared to have no rational explanation.

UFO sighted above center of the Kingston Rhinecliff bridge NY Friday August 1 2008 9:20 pm

We were crossing the Kinston-Rhinecliff bridge in Kingston NY at about 9:20 pm. Right at the center of the bridge was a hovering object making no noise. As we approach it we realize its round with three points and its spinning. It has 1 white light with red, blue and yellow lights. As we pass it my husband looks right up at it and says it rotating. As we got to the end of the bridge I turned around and saw it shoot off to the south about 1/2 mile so fast the lights left a blur. Then it took off down the Hudson river so fast I have never seen anything like it.

Twin Balls of Fire traveling south to north

My husband and I were driving around on Sunday, June 22, 2008. We were on a mile long rode with hay fields on either side driving south. This was about 11:15 pm when we spotted a light in the sky. As we watched it was traveling south to north and was on a parallel path with the earth. As it got closer, we were able to see that is was actually a ball of fire, orange in color with red center traveling at a rapid speed (guess of 40 mph) at about the height of a helicopter flying, but with absolutely no sound or smoke trail. As it passed our position we noticed another bright object following behind, on the exact same path as the first. This also appeared to be a ball of fire, except it was not as contained as the first one. When it got even with us, we noticed that the object was looser in form and we could actually see embers falling from the object. I was concerned of possible fire since it was over a hay field. They both continued on north northeast until out of site. I would say the object appeared to be the size of a mid-size car, and it was about 50 yards from us. The objects looked like what I would think space debris would be like but these two objects were not falling from the sky. They were on a distinct path.

We were heading towards Saugerties, NY at approx. 3:25 am and I was the first to notice a very bright set of lights in the sky back towards the Kingston area. At first, I thought it was just a plane. It was much to bright and was stationary to be a plane. My friend who was driving noticed it to and decided to get closer to it.

This is where it gets wierder. We got very close to it. My friend drove his car down into a dead-end drive and the object came straight at us. He then turned off his headlights and got out of the car coaxing me to go with to get a better view. As soon at the lights went off, you could see a beam of light heading for my friend who was already 10 feet in front of the car. He dodged the beam as I ran out of the car. We proceeded down the drive about 20 feet, noticing that the object took a sharp right turn. We ran back to the car trying to chase it further, but to our amazement there was no sign of the rather large craft. It dissappeared within seconds of us getting back in my friends turbo-charged car(so it only took about 10 seconds to get back on the road and head after the thing in the sky). The object made no sound and had no propeller on top so this was not a helicopter. This was not a plane and its landing gear. I cannot explain what this was, only that I have spent the better part of my young life studying this phenomena and I have never witnessed something like that in real life. I was terrified and I felt very strange afterward. A feeling I cannot describe. This is the Hudson Valley though and I have been told this sort of stuff has been going on for years.

It was 3:00 PM and was a clear, bright day.

I was riding with my mother and I looked out the passenger seat window and saw a ball of light moving slowly in the sky. It looked slightly larger than a planet or large star would look.

We were briefly stopped in traffic when I saw it, and it moved behind a tree, and we started moving again right then, but it had disappeared.

There was no trail of smoke and it did not look like a plane or other known aircraft.

Three Black Triangular aircraft manuvered acros the horizon and then hovered over our location.

Initally I observed what appeared to be three helicopters two of which were shinning a white search light onto the Black Range Mountains off in the distance. We both believed the possible helicopters were conducting a search of the area.

After watching the search lights and the close proximity of the aircraft to one another I believed they were not helicopters or any aircraft that I had ever seen before.

As they came closer to Highway 152 and the entrance to our small mountain cimmunity (Kingston NM, Pop. 30) I immediately realized the objects were too large to be helicopters. They were flying in a single line formation much too close to one another.

All three triangular black objects hovered directly above our location for approximately 10-15 seconds at an altitude of less than 500 yards and then continued up towards the canyon to Emory Pass summit which is in the direction of Silver City NM.

My friend thought they were some type of experimental military aircraft since they had a very low sounding "jet" engine sound. They did not look like Harrier Jump Jets as they were more triangular and dark black.

I called the Sierra County Sheriff's Office in Truth or Consequences today and made an inquiry if White Sands or other NM instalations had reported any training excercizes in the area on the above date and time.

The dispatcher had no knowlege of any report by citizens or military for October 20, 2007.

I am retired law inforcement detective. My other witness is a business owner in Sierra New Mexico.

Strange light blinking from the same location then a second sighting of a glowing oval object moving very fast.

An unusual white light blinked randomly in the sky close to the star "Arcturis" at first glance I thought it was a high flying military jet with it's lights blinking at an unusual rate but it just loitered in the same area. The light would blink brightly on and off from the same location. Then I would see nothing until it faded back into sight with the intensity of a bright star (as bright as Venus) but very focused in intensity as if a giant spotlight was pointed downwards. It glowed for about 4 seconds with an intensity similar to a bright white halogen light but very powerfull since it appeared the object was very high. I got the impression it was very high up but I was unable to tell for sure how high. My first impression of the altitude was about 40,000 or more.

10 minutes later in the same direction a spotted a fast moving ball of light that shot across the sky from the east to the west. It was visible for only a a second. It went the speed of a slower meteorite but showed none of the common characteristics such as breaking up in the atmosphere and changing colors and flickering until it fades. This object had a white glow with a hint of green and blue but it happened so fast I can't totally be sure of the precise color. I am very sure this was not a shooting star because it's size would have created a fireball of some form it was very even in Luminescence and seemed to be unaffected by the atmosphere or was up too high for any air friction.

White Flash near Exit 19 Thruway Kingston

While driving south on the NY Thruway we observed a sudden flash in the sky to our left at the entry point of exit 19. It was as if somebody had taken a picture from about 500 feet in the air. It was very bright and both myself and my 16 year old son observed it immediately asking each other " Did you see that? " simultaneously. It did not happen again though we were looking for it through the windows and moonroof. The sky was clear and we were both lucid, having just stopped for coffee. I just filed the report as I had not been on the site for a while and saw a sighting out of Albany on 11/28. We were returning from a Hockey Tournament in Canada and I just checked the date of our return, finding it was 11/27. I am not exactly certain of the time, I would say between 10pm and 1am.

I always go to my mothers for my lunch break while im at work, because she watches my daughter and this way i spend my lunch with her, besides, my work is only about 5 min away from my mothers.

This particular night, as i was leaving my mothers second floor apartment,on her back porch,(10 ft high)my daughter was comming out to tell me goodbye, i happened to see out of the corner of my eye, a very unusual light comming from the west. It was kind of far away, and i at first thought it to be a plane, but there was no sound yet, and its color was a brillant, bluish/white. It flew towards the southwest(to our left) slowly across the sky. By this time, my mother had planned on walking the dog, and she came out and saw it.It moved so very slow, almost like a plane that was coasting,it seemed too big to be moving that slow to me, especially with no wind currents or sound. Then , it turned east in a path directly towards us. We kept watching, and slowly, very slowly, it moved increasingly forward and got about 20 ft away before i could hear it. It was a"type" of jet engine sound i would say, that is, it had a whine like a jet, but this whine was a very low pitched whine, thats the only way i can describe it.Now its even more desturbing to me, because even though i can hear some sort of engine, it was still too quiet. The engine whine did not match to either the slow speed, or the size. This thing seemed to float in the dark sky. Now that it was about to go over the top of the house, i tryed to make out quickly the shape of the thing before it was gone. For the life of me, i could see no shape in the middle.It just had three lights spanning the front, and three spanning the back. It seemed that between the center of these lights, the shape, or craft moved, i could see something wobbling. Another thing is, when it turned to cross over the top of the house, it didnt turn like a plane, based on the movement of the lights, it seemed to lay on its side, then turn, then lay flat again. All the lights ! blinked in unison, which i knew was wrong from the start, and they were all the same color. For a split second, i thought it might be a blimp, but it moved faster than a blimp, and more jerky and irratic.The sound waves didnt seem to reach the ground like a regular jet does, the whine was up with the craft.Ive talked to a vietnam vet that i work with, and he told me that because a jet cant fly, it has to keep a constant speed of 175mph to stay in the air. This thing cralled.As i drove back to work(east)i looked for the continuance of its path, but it was gone. Later at work i realised that i was so worried about getting a look at the shape that i didnt even see what color the lights were, when i got back from work, i asked my mother, she said orange. The next day, my daughter(13) and i were talking about it, and i mentioned that i asked my mother about the color and what she said, and my daughter agreed. I told her i was upset that i couldnt see a definate shape, and she said she saw it, and it was a disk. These statements are absolute truth and i would be willing to take a polygraph.

I looked to my left (east) and high in the sky moving quickly to the north was a very bright light. I saw it move extremely fast northbound before it turned back on itself on the same plane, just for a tenth of a second, then stopped and blinked out of existence. As it disappeared it brightened up before looking like it collapsed instantaneously in on itself into a horizontal line of light. Working as a lighting tech on movies, I know how different lights appear under different conditions and optical circumstances.

We noticed 3 falling stars. One before the event and 2 after the event.

Coming from the southeast heading to the northwest. Heard no noise, but a train was passing about 7 miles away. A large lake is the the south/southeast of us so sound travels very well.

The object reminded me of a falling star, but orange/yellow in color and about 20 times larger. Also it was going in the opposite direction of a falling star. It had somewhat of a trail or tail following behind.

This whole episode only lasted in our eyesight only a few seconds do to trees, barns, awnings.

Waited and watched for about 1 1/2 hours to see if another one came by, but nothing but the 2 falling stars that were more of a white color. I would describe it as missile like.

Object seen traveling over NYS Thruway. Bright pink/red top with bright white lights along the rim. Seemed to travel back and forth

While traveling north on the New York State Thruway from Kingston to Saugerties I observed a bright light directly in front of me that at first appeared to be a star.

Upon coming closer to the object I noticed that it was two bright and close to be a star.

Further viewing showed what appeared to be a pink/red aura coming from the top of the object but having a bright almost white light surrounding it. I noticed the object seemed to appear further ahead(grow smaller) and then appear closer to my posistion(become larger).

I passed under the object and looked up and saw what appeared to be a very dark circle which seemed to make up the body of the object.

I noticed other cars swerve infront me as the drivers tried to better view the object as well.

No sound was observed coming from the craft as would normally be the case with small planes and helicopters.

Since we moved here a year and a half ago, we have seen many strange things in the sky (lights, objects, etc.). Tonight there was a triangle shaped object with lights and no sound hovering over the trees on the far side of the house. It then started moving and came above the house and off to the east. Two of us watched this object glide directly over the house and off. The whole thing lasted about two to three minutes and then it was gone. There was absolutely no noise. I don't know what it was, but I know it wasn't an airplane, weather balloon, or anything like that. Very strange.

It didn't move like a shooting star or plane and I wasn't alone when I saw it on two separate occasions.

Last night a friend and I decided to go outside stargazing. We love to look for shooting stars. As we walked out the door, we noticed a super bright star. As we gazed at it we realized it was moving. It became brighter and brighter in the sky mostly straight up a little to the western horizon. This 'star' was traveling from south to north and then stopped, turned, and headed toward space. We watched as it disappeared from view. As this was not the first time I've seen this strange event, I finally decided to report it somewhere. Last year on Sept. 7, 2002 at approximately 11 pm again, 3 of us saw the same thing in the eastern sky. It headed right at us and we thought it was a shooting star. As in came closer, I actually became frightened as I thought maybe it was a meteorite going to hit or something. I hadn't ever seen anything like it. It finally changed direction heading south and then changed direction again and headed into space until it disappeared. The object both times was extremely high...as if in space, but much bigger than a star or satelite. It didn't have the lights of a plane or jet and didn't move like any kind of plane I've ever seen. It was much too high to be a helicopter.

To give you background on myself, I'm a disabled police officer. I went through 4 years of college and actually took classes in Astronomy in college as I've always love stargazing. I'm level headed and logical. I do believe in the idea of life in outer space as the universe is a big place and there are many things we have no clue about in it. I will say that I have never met an alien that I'm aware of; I have never dreamt about aliens, however I do enjoy science fiction books and television; and I have never felt as if aliens were trying to contact me. I would embrace an opportunity to meet other-worldly creatures, but I don't expect it to happen in my lifetime. I'm a middle aged, down to earth, farm girl who went to college, got a job, and got arthritis. What did I see? I'm not totally sure. But for now, I would have to classify it as an 'unidentified' flying object. I'm continuing to search for an earthly explanation, but haven't found one yet. I would really love to find out just what it was. I'll be watching that sky!

nys thruway heading nrth between exit 19 and 20 cigar shaped ,reflective or silver in color , incredable fast no sound .

I was on the new york state thruway heading north between exit 19 and 20 when on the left side of the road a silver or mirrored like cigar shaped object was just above the tree line. It seem to be going around my same speed . I was going around 60 or 70 mph. it would speed up and go slightly ahead and then slow down again and stay with me. I at first thought it had to be some odd reflection but it then abruptly stopped and darted off to the west . I followed it until it was to far or too fast to see. That first encounter lasted about 5 to 7 mins . I was calling a friend to tell them of what had happened when suddenly it was back again. It again stayed about 5 mins and then shot off like nothing i had ever seen and seemed to be gone for good. I never have seen anything like it and i wonder if anyone else had seen something similar. i was sure it would be on the news or something but i never heard a thing.

Super fast bright light parallel to ground, below tree level, 10 miles away - or shooting star much farther away?

I was outside and just happened to be looking West up in the sky. The sky was clear, and since the sun had not risen yet there were still plenty of stars out. I would bet money that what I saw was actually a meteorites but it seemed very low and it streaked across the sky at a horizontal attitude. My first thought is that if was a UFO, it was over the hood canal or Jefferson County, not more than 10 miles away. It looked just like a star. If it really was 10 miles away, then I would estimate its speed at several thousand miles per hour. It was below the tree line, and visible for not more than one second due to the trees. There was an optical/visual streak effect, because it was going so fast. It was different looking than the average shooting star effect -It was not leaving a dust trail in its wake. I know that sometimes meteorites are much much farther away than they look, which could explain why this one was visible to me going across the sky on a horizontal path. It was going South to North. I'm only reporting this because I'm hoping somebody on Whidbey Island or Vancouver BC saw the same thing come their way and maybe saw more than one seconds' worth of it. I've seen a lot of shooting stars before, but never any running parallel to the earth, you know? I dunno, I suppose it could happen - let me know what you think.

Driving north on rural road lined by tall fir trees/woods on each side. Saw what appeared at first to be a shooting star go over the road in a straight path (no arc) east to west, but extremely low (500 ft?) Consisted of one large, very bright white light with 2 smaller white lights. No sound. Few houses near road; fairly secluded area. Pulled off at clearing, unable to see anything further. I am an R.N. I have had two previous sightings as a child. My daughter was driving another car ahead of me and it appeared to be a large fireworks to her (she was not wearing her glasses). A bright saucer UFO rose up from behind distant woods, turned left and glided out of sight.

This sighting happened quite a while ago when I was about 8 or 9, and at the time I just took it as an incredible and unmistakable UFO sighting, and didn't think to see if there was a website I could report it to until just now (I'm 19). Even though it wasn't very long or eventful, it is one of the most stark and obvious UFOs I've ever seen (even against those in the media).

It was a summer night, and my sister, our next door neighbor and I were all outside in our field. We lived in an apartment house on top of a long driveway in an area that separates street blocks from more wooded and fielded terrain. We were in our field, looking at stars and just talking, when we saw a UFO rise straight up from behind the distant woods that were off to the right of our distant neighbors house, approximately 7-800 ft. from where we were standing. Notice how I checked the "The object landed" box, because this object almost definitely had to have been on the ground, because it was rising in a perfect vertical line from behind the trees. It appeared quite small (about the size of your fingernail if you were to hold it up to the sky), and no detail could be seen, except that it was extremely clearly a perfect saucer UFO straight out of a comic book. There were no individual lights, but it was completely glowing a very pure bright, gold light (this may have been due in part to the possibility that it was reflecting light as a faraway object, but it wasn't an ordinary reflective glow; it seemed engulfed in light, like the object itself was either VERY reflective, or emitting some kind of glow itself). There was absolutely no sound anywhere in the quiet of the night. It rose straight up at a mid-pace until it was very high in the sky, then without any shift in appearance whatsoever it made a perfect 90º left turn and continued at the same exact rate of speed, and just kept gliding in that direction until it was out of sight.

Despite my young age, I am certain there's no way it could have been any known aircraft.

the husband, kids and my self left california to spent the summer on my husbands parents farm in kingston arkansas. no one lives there. husbands parents hires someone to go feed the animals once a day when no one is there. the farm is the higest elevation in the area. it sits on the hill over looking all the hills and valleys below. the husband and i took over feeding the animals when we arrived. one evening at dusky dark we went to close the chicken house door and there it was! very close. i cant est distance or height very well. id say 1000 ft distance and it was hovering just above the trees near the pond. it was a small air craft est the size of a crop duster plane. it was triangle shape and a dull metalic color w/ 3 dim pulsating lights on each corner. no sound. it would have been invisable if it had been darker outside, except for the lights. it was a shock to see at first then a calm feeling. i ask my husband what it was, he said he didnt know. we just stood there and looked at it. i had the feeling we walked upon it unexpectedly since no one was hardly ever there on the farm. i remember having the feeling i need to get a good look and remember this event. it was such a calm eeerie feeling. it ever so slowly turned with a swoosh sound and flew past the trees and we just kept standing there then went about our business like it never happened. then weeks later when the parents arrived, it clicked in my mind and i told them what happened and my husband got upset and said he didnt remember it. then later that evening when we got home he said he remembered somthing happening but he didnt remember what. like daaah ! now when i talk about it he comes up with several different things that it coild have been, but i know what happened, because i kept telling myself to remeber this and get a good look. it was like yesterday to me but i cant understand why i didnt freak out. why i didnt chase it when it went past the trees so i could see it fly over the valleys below.

Kingston, NY Sighting

This event occurred at approx. 8 PM in the month of Sept/1994 on Delaware Ave, Kingston, NY where I lived at this time. I was called outside by one of our kids who ran in and said there was a UFO outside. When I got outside I looked in the sky at approx 80 degrees (facing south directly across from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church). I saw a very large triangular object relatively low in the sky. I estimate it's distance from me to be between 1000-2000 ft. I would estimate it's location to be over the Hudson River in an area just south of Kingston Point (near area where Rondout Creek meets the hudson, approx.) I would estimate it's size to be between 50-100 yards. It was very large. It hovered completely silent. It had 5-6 lights (white). 1 in each corner of a triangle and 1 between each corner. It remained in that position motionless for approx. 5 minutes. During this time people from the neighborhood were gathering in the church parking lot looking at the object. Many motorists were also stopping their cars and getting out to look at the object. The object then rotated to the left slightly (silently) (the lead point of the triangle was initially pointing east)and moved slightly forward then rotated again left slightly towards the NE then stopped and then proceeded to move in a NE direction slowly (10 mph?). It's path appeared to take it directly over the Hudson River in a northerly direction. After it cleared the trees and went out of sight, everyone went on their way. No police were observed in the area. I saw no media coverage on the event. I would estimate there were between 20-30 witnesses in my area of Delaware Ave. alone. Sky conditions were clear. I could not make out any surface characteristics as the craft appeared very dark.

1983 Hudson Valley UFO sighting

Dear UFO Center:

I am writing this to report a UFO sighting my family and I had in approximately November of 1983 when I was an 8-year-old child. (I am 36 now.) I was only recently reminded of this event because I had listened to a brief clip of a past episode of the radio show Coast to Coast AM regarding the Hudson Valley UFO sightings of the early-mid 1980s, and wanted to add my recollection to your database.

One evening around November of 1983, my family and I were on our way home from dinner at a local restaurant. If I remember correctly, it was about 9:00 at night. As we pulled into our driveway, we noticed what appeared to be a triangular-shaped craft of some sort slowly traveling north along the path of the Hudson River. (This would be about 1 mile north of the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge.) The craft appeared to be 4 or 5 separate white lights arranged in a triangular pattern, and flew perhaps 500-1000 feet over our house. It was moving about the speed of a small prop airplane (if I had to guess I'd say maybe 80 or 90 mph.) If you were to extend your arms above you with your two hands spread towards the sky, that would be about the area this craft covered above us.

What was strange, however, was that every so often one or two of the lights would switch positions in the arrangement, so I believe this was not one whole craft but 4 or 5 separate ones, because I also could see no structure directly between them. If I remember correctly as well, these lights slowly turned around as one unit and began heading south for about 5 minutes, then turned due north again.

I do not remember them making a sound or doing any other strange motions, and they just continued on, slowly heading north of our position.

Around the same period, I vaguely remember hearing that there were a team of hangliders or ultra-lites copycating the rash of sightings in that area, (perhaps to cash in on the notoriety), so I am not really sure if my sighting was one of these alleged copycat teams or a real unidentified flying object. The thing that made us believe it was not hangliders or ultra-lites was because we did not hear any engine sounds that would normally be associated with them.

Saucer emits beams of light

Sometime in the summer of 1974, me and a childhood friend, we were both 12 years old at the time, were at the local baseball field at around 9:00 pm in Kingston, Ma. This night was clear but dark, not much of a moon. I remember this because I had dared my friend to walk across to the playground as it was unlit and two baseball fields away and it was, a dark night. The area is nestled in the woods surrounded by trees and sparsely populated.

As we started walking we got about to the pitchers mound when the sky in front of us flashed red. The flash was not like a lingering flash; it was extremely quick and seemed to span the horizon. My friend said, "Did you see that?" It was very strange, and the color was vivid. I remember at the time thinking I hope it’s not the nuclear power plant exploding; the plant is about 15 miles down the coast. As we continued walking east, I noticed an object about 20’ on the horizon coming from our 11:00 position.

My father flies as a hobby as I do now and I had grown up around airplanes. It had red, blue and green lights in a circular pattern that were spinning. It looked like nothing I had ever seen. As we watched, it came closer, to about our 9:00 position. It seemed to be flying parallel to the railroad tracks when it suddenly stopped. I knew it was not a helicopter because it made no sound and no aircraft looked like this. At this time it began coming toward us, I would say around 10-15 mph maybe. I could see it looked like two saucers facing each other with the lights spinning in between. It seemed to have no color that I recall. It was about 100 feet away from us when it again stopped and a beam of light hit the ground. The beam had a sort of bright bluish tinge. The beam of light started to scan the ground, up back left and right. I told my friend not to move or it will see us. The object was around 100 feet high or so, it was hard to tell and it could have been 20 to 40 feet in diameter. The beam then went off and the object proceeded to move a! bout 50 feet to our right and did the same thing with the beam, again the beam went off. Now the object moved closer, to just above our heads and again the light hit within 10 or 15 feet away and I heard my friend start to whimper. The light came to a point so close that I felt I could touch it, then nothing the light was gone the object was gone with no sound. We never saw it leave although I was looking at the light on the ground moving around because I didn’t want it to see us so I never actually saw it vanish, but it was gone in a second. We both ran to my house five minutes away and told my younger brother and mother what happened. Naturally my brother wanted to go see so we went back. The three of us walked down a steep hill, it’s a road about 200 yards to the ball field. Once there we saw nothing then we only walked out maybe 25 feet and the beam landed right in front of us. We all ran, my brother got to the top of the hill first and I heard a car skidding down the road,! it nearly hit him as he ran across the street. My father, a policeman in our town drove me down in the police car. I later found out the police station had got a call from someone else who also saw it. We never saw any sign of it ever again. My friend and I went down to the ball field many nights after that just hoping to see it again, but I can never forget what I saw.
