Amber ball of light over Syracuse

I was driving back home from Watertown, heading south on 81. When I was passing the Parish exit looking at the city lights reflecting off the clouds when I noticed an amberish colored light in the clouds. There is an overcast tonight so no stars are visible. It didnt have directional lights like a tipical aircraft. It stayed in the same position for about 10 minutes. When I passed by tall trees I lost sight but when I came to a clearing it was gone. Did anyone else see this tonight?

Two separate occasions... red balls traveling northbound through center of sky. First one seemed to "burn out", after a bit and then turned black, as it was still going North.

The second ball about 3 minutes later did not burn out...

update... as I was writing this. A third went by and burned out right over us.

I was looking at Mars through a telescope when I looked up and I saw it moving, had no flashing lights. I first thought it was a plane, but then noticed there were no flashing lights.

It moved from straight overhead to beyond the trees, I ran beyond the trees and looked around in the sky, it was gone, no trace. I felt amazed/surprised at seeing this. I lost sight of it behind the trees and then I ran behind them and looked around in the sky it was gone.

About 30 seconds or about 1 minute long, not longer. I saw it in the binoculars and it was bright as or brighter than Jupiter.

SAUCER SHAPED OBJECT W/GREEN,BLUE,RED&WHITE LIGHTS IN UPSTATE NY

IT BEGAN ON THE EARLY MORNING OF 9/7/2002 AT 1:OO AM, I WAS HOME ALONE WATCHING T.V. WHEN OUT OF THE CORNER OF MY EYE I SAW OUT MY SIDE LIVINGROOM WINDOW WHAT APPEARED TO BE THE REFLECTION OF POLICE LIGHTS, I WENT OVER TO THE WINDOW AS I BEGAN TO GET CLOSER I REALIZED THAT IT WAS NOT WHAT IT HAD APPEARD TO BE, IT WAS A SAUCER SHAPED OBJECT VERY HIGH IN THE WESTERN SKY JUST HOVERING IN ONE AREA. THE TOP WAS SHINING BRIGHTLY WITH RED,GREEN AND BLUE LIGHTS AND THE BOTTOM HAD A VERY BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT. IT WOULD SPIN VERY FAST "IT LOOKED LIKE THE TOY TOP I USED TO PLAY WITH AS A CHILD" AND THEN IT WOULD SLOW DOWN AND HOVER UP AND DOWN AND THEN BEFORE MY OWN EYES WITHOUT EVENIG BLINKING IT DISSAPEARED.THE SIGHTING LASTED APPROX.45 MIN. ON THE EVENING OR EARLY MORNING OF 9/7/2002 AT APPROX. 2:00 AM I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM A FRIEND TRAVELING HOME NORTH FROM CICERO TO CENTRAL SQUARE. SHE SAID THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IN THE NORTHERN SKY. WHAT SHE DESCRIBED WAS THE SAME DESCRIPTION THAT I GAVE YOU. LAST NIGHT WE PATIENTLY WAITED AT EACH OTHERS OWN HOMES (WITHIN 3 MILES APART )AND AT APPROX.9:30 P.M. THE SAME OBJECT APPEARED IN THE SAME NORTHERN SKY AS IT DID THE NIGHT BEFORE.THIS TIME IT HOVERED FOR OVER 2 HOURS. MY FRIEND MADE A FEW PHONE CALLS TO SEE IF SOME PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT AREA COULD SEE IT. SHE WAS ABLE TO LOCATE A FRIEND IN NORTH SYRACUSE (10 MILES SOUTH OF CENTRAL SQUARE) WHO COULD SEE IT .SHE ALSO LOCATED ANOTHER FRIEND IN BREWERTON (3 MILES SOUTH) OF CENTRAL SQUARE WHO COULD SEE IT AS WELL.MY HUSBAND ASND I HAVE CAPTURED THE OBJECT ON VIDEO TAPE ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT AS CLEAR AS WITH THE NAKED EYE.

Triangular metallic object emitting trail of orange, travelling extremely fast

I was drivingdown I-81S towards Syracuse. About 1/2 mile past Central Square, I saw a triangular object going at a downwards angle from west to east. When the sunlight hit it, it reflected the sunlight. It was extremely bright. Behind it was a cone of some sort coming to a point of orange. I don't know whether it was fire, or vapor? I knew the object was going extremely fast, for it travelled the length of my windshield in no time at all. Also, it was below the clouds(ceiling). I had enough time to hold up my hand, and determine it was the size of my thumbnail when my arm was fully extended, and the "vapor" behind it was approximately 4-6 inches across my windshield. It then disappeared behind the trees?
