Saw circular object in the night sky. It moved up in the sky very quickly, shot to the left, then down, then disappeared

Was with my partner at around 9:10pm looking south at the stars in our backyard. I then saw very far away what I thought was a shooting star begin to move rapidly in a way that a craft/star would not be able to move. It was a circular object in the night sky. It moved very rapidly up in the sky, stopping then moving up again very quickly, shot to the left, then went down, then disappeared. This occurred within 10 seconds.

Driving westward towards Lake Champlain from Cornwall to Shoreham at 7:52 pm, I saw a cone of light in the sky approximately at the same level I had just seen an airplane. It was very bright at the top and then was a bit more hazy towards the bottom. It lasted less than 30 seconds, as I came around a bend in the road, it was gone. The bottom of the cone was hazy and sort of "melted" into the sky. The object that the light was coming from was not moving, seemed stationary. It was like an enormous lampshade in appearance.....

Disc shaped object stationary above neighborhood

I was driving along a two lane residential road just after 8:00 AM this past Saturday morning. Off to my right, I looked through the tree line and saw an object that look out of place through the trees, up in the air. It took a second for the thought to register in my mind and to take a second look. Upon looking again, I caught a clear look at it through an opening through the woods. I had an instantaneous feeling of fright consume my body because I know what I was looking at was really there. I immediatley slowed down to try and get a better look, but another car was coming up behind me and I felt obligated to move along. I hoped to drive along another 100 feet or so and be able to pull over and see through the trees, but when that opportunity came, I could not find the object. The area in which the object was was about 400-500 feet off the ground....well below the two "mountain" tops which it was flying between. This was not a plane or helicopter. I think some other people may have seen this...because I noticed an unusually high number of skid marks (I could smell the freshness) on that exact spot when I went back later that day. I only saw one object, it was metallic, disc-shaped, and probably 20 feet long. I don't feel 100% confident in the size of the object and distance...because I only got a good look for a couple of seconds.
