It was a really big orb like object with a glowing light around it moved back and forth slowly from side to side for a few minutes almost like it was mimicking my movements as I was trying to get a look at it and process what I was actually seeing and then it just disappeared like it was sucked into a hole it didn’t dart off or fly away

I was sitting at the stoplight on Walnut St and State of Franklin, directly across from the stoplight in front of me, I saw a triangle craft with 3 lights on it, one on top and two on bottom. The lights were very close together. It high above the tree line. Within a matter of seconds, it was below the tree line, and I couldn’t see it anymore. It just moved in a straight line, downwards. There was also no sound.

I was sitting outside when I noticed a white or metallic sphere in the sky. It did not move quickly but did move toward me from north to south, opposite of the direction of the few clouds that were in the sky. The sphere appeared to move back and forth along an axis or like a gyroscope as it moved across the sky.

I took photos and video with my cell phone and sent to friends. When I looked back toward the sky, less than 2 minutes later, the sphere was nowhere to be seen. This was odd to me as it wasn't a quick moving object and would not have logically been able to move out of sight in that amount of time.

Spotted a red sphere that appeared to be flying a little lower than typical passenger plane altitude. It looked like a bright red star. It did NOT flicker/flash. It was moving faster than your average plane, but not significantly faster. Was moving West NW. Appeared to bounce up and down a little, but could have been eye trick. No sound whatsoever. After observing it for about a minute, I went inside and asked my husband to check it out. He came outside and we watched it cross the sky for another minute or two. He also commented that a bright non-flickering red light on an aircraft was strange.

Taking my husband to work and as I’m getting closer to his job I happen to look to my left and notice this large object in the sky that looks triangular I mean it could have been another shape but from the distance it looked like a triangle. It was roughly around 5:53 am this morning and the three big white circles of the lights were in a triangle position it was at a vertical position which I thought strange, it was very very bright so I figured maybe a plane but then it was just sitting there and I thought that’s odd and kept looking as I’m Trying to drive and it reminded me of a Christmas tree position just hanging out and I seen a little red on it at one point on the right side of the craft would be our left side... but the further I got the more distant it was of course but it never moved ... I told him we needed to stop and video tape or take a photo but we Were running behind and I tried to catch it on my way back it was gone by then. The location of the object looked perhaps in a wooded area and some back roads. Just from where I seen it and the location of where I was. I wanted to report it because I’ve seen so many aircraft bin my time and I’m in a military family ... this was just weird ..

Had to walk my dog and happened to look up in the sky to see the stars, after raining two days it was nice to see a clear sky i noticed in the distance a light flickering and figured a plane since we have an airport nearby and thought nothing of it then looked back again and noticed it hadnt moved and perhaps it was a star, then the lights changed quickly from white to blue to red and the object from a distance looked circular, but wasn't closr enough to see, I finished walking the dog and seen it was still in the same position or area, went and told my husband and we looked out the window and it was still there i decided to record it since it isnt really leaving that spot. He tried to debunk it, still didnt leave that area, we did notice it moved more side to side not up or down, always white then red light and soemtimes blue when it was flashing fast then the flikering or flash would slow down but always constant.Thought perhaps helicopter, they're super l! oud at night so we would have heard that. Still there in same place its been almost an hour so not sure what it could be? My husband swore he seen a red beam, I didnt but I could have missed it and looked away while recording.

3-4 Reflective Objects At Low Altitude Over Johnson City, Tennessee.

My wife, kids, and I were traveling roughly North on State of Franklin Road going toward Sam’s Club. My wife and I were sitting in the front of the vehicle, so we were the first to notice flashes of light (reflections) coming from 3 (possibly 4) objects that were traveling due east at tree top level parallel to interstate 26. I say “possibly 4” because I only saw 3, but my wife says she saw 4 objects.

They were invisible against the trees as they traveled along a hillside and flashed (sun reflection off of metallic surface?) frequently as they were apparently shifting side to side or possibly wobbling as they traveled. We could not make out a shape. Therefore, estimating a size of the objects difficult. They were traveling at a rate of approximately 30-40 miles per hour.

We quickly lost sight of all but one of the objects which traveled approximately a mile away and remained stationary at about 6,000 feet. It appeared to rock back and forth which continued to cause the reflective flashes as we saw on the other objects. In between flashes the object appeared to be black. We watched it for about 3 minutes and then went into the store. It was gone by the time we finished shopping 10 minutes later.

If I had to guess at size I would say 15-10 feet wide. They did not behave like any commercial aircraft I have ever seen, nor did they act like remote control planes or drones that I have ever observed. Lots of people were on the road and out at this time, so I’m hoping that others saw this and will report as well.

Bright fast long oval Aqua light in the night sky.

February 16 2017 at about 11:30pm EST I was sitting in our living room getting ready to watch television and out our front door an aqua light drew my attention. The light lasted only about two seconds. It was very bright but, hazy/fuzzy on the edges, but that could have been due to clouds. It was oval shaped and from my perspective about an inch big up in the sky (not sure how to explain it), it was almost as big as when you look at the moon. I saw it for only the two seconds and it disappeared, not like an airplane flying and the light was too big for an airplane. I would guess it was only about 2 miles up in the sky and going left to right. It was the south west moving north west at a slight degree upward. It was not like fireworks. It was just a bright aqua light. I jumped from my chair to look closer and it was gone. The light just stopped, it didn't burn out or fly away and get smaller. It was there really bright for about two seconds then j! ust stopped.

Small low flying, fast aircraft with bright lights.

I was driving 45 mph southwest down Cherokee road at 8:30PM, just passing Cherokee elementary school and there was a large object a little to my right and behind the school with little to no noticeable motion. It was a good distance away in the sky with 4 bright white lights (2 on each wing) and a small orange pulsing light in the middle. The white lights weren't blindingly bright, but was noticeably brighter than a normal aircraft.

I kept driving for maybe a tenth of a mile and the trees started to block my view, once I could see it again somehow it was already over to my left, and it seemed just a little further away.

Still driving now at about 40 mph for maybe another tenth of a mile, I could tell the object was now directly over the road, but now it was a lot closer to me than it had been. This is when I noticed the orange light and the shape of it. For a few seconds the object was basically flying right above my car, like it was matching my speed. I had my head over my steering wheeling looking up at it as much as I could, while still watching the road. I rolled down my right windows, but I couldn't hear it making any noise. I think if it was a helicopter or plane I would have heard it with as low as it was. The shape of it reminded me of a U.S. B-2 stealth plane, but the object was narrower than that.

It never had any jerky motion, it always seemed like it was kind of hovering but moving horizontally. Also it was flying low, but it's size seemed relatively small.

I lost sight of it when it was above my car and never saw it again.

Multiple bright L.E.D. looking lights in a V formation,Suddenly disappears.

The U.F.O. my mother and I saw had lights around it in the shape of a triangle much like the flying v in the mighty ducks lol but we did not see the actual craft just the lights and I can not say how many lights were exactly their I know this is not a good description. And I'm no sky watcher but I have seen my fair share of videos too know this was not normal. At first we thought it was a plane for a second, But then noticed the lights were in a much different shape placement not blinking and one solid LED ish color and it was not moving. It was fairly close and easy to see but was gone so fast because the strange part was how it suddenly and quickly vanished. I cannot tell if it hit hyper speed and took off or simply vanished but poof it was gone.

Five lights seen moving over Johnson City, looking like bright red-orange fire before vanishing.

My girlfriend and I came outside at roughly 9:30 to smoke a cigarette. After a few minutes we saw what looked like a circle of red-orange fire move across the sky. It appeared to move slightly faster than the life-flight helicopters that we see occasionally see as we live near the local hospital. As we watched it, the object began moving erratically and suddenly became dark but still visible against the clouds.

Shortly thereafter, another fast-moving ball with the same coloration appeared and followed roughly the same path before vanishing.

We decided to wait and see if any more objects flew by. Sure enough another two balls of red-orange appeared behind the tree line, moving slightly slower than the first, before turning at almost a 90° angle and vanishing.

Our neighbor from across the street was out walking his dogs at the time and had stopped at the corner of our road, having seen the second set of lights. His dogs barked as the lights before they faded from view.

Before continuing over to say his hellos a final ball appeared, rising significantly higher than the previous lights, turning slightly and then vanishing.

Reddish oval lights in eastern Tennessee.

Sighting: While walking my dogs, around 9:30 p.m., I observed 2 separate red light objects in the westerly sky traveling from West to East about a minute apart. The were 1 to 1 1/2 miles away initially traveling toward me. They were moving slowly without any noise. At first I thought it must be a plane but there were no flashing lights or noise.

The objects appeared a few hundred feet in the sky and appeared to be as if on fire (red). It was different than a Chinese lantern, for I have seen them. They had a red glow about them and much larger than lantern.

It appeared to be a small craft of sorts.

After observing them travel about a 1/2 mile they each made a 90 degree turn to the North. They were under the cloud cover & clearly visible. After turning North, they seem to simply fade away, but still being under the cloud cover.

I turned the block and saw my 2 neighbors in front of their house looking in the same direction. They asked if I had seen the object as they described the same objects. They said 2 similar objects had come over in same direction a few minutes earlier. These earlier objects did not make a turn as I had seen, but continued in a straight line over their house before fading away or vanishing. They said the could see an outline of a larger dark object than the reddish light as it passed over before disappearing.

As we were talking another reddish object appear coming from the same direction which we all 3 observed. It faded away without turning before it came much closer. Only observed this last object 15-20 seconds.

Three lights (blue, green, unknown) flying one after another in a curved path from south to north, at extremely low altitude.

Three lights crossed the sky at a high speed, one after another, flying very low below the clouds from south to north. The first was very distinctly blue and appeared to be circular in shape. It was followed a few seconds after by a green light traveling at a similar high speed and low altitude, it's path curving slightly to follow the first.

About 20 seconds after, the first two lights were followed by a third of indistinguishable color, flying at a similar speed but slightly higher altitude. Witnesses include myself and my two roommates, out for a cigarette at around 9:30 pm. I like to keep an eye on the sky, but I've never once seen anything strange like this.

Because the third light traveled at a higher altitude, it was a more conventional appearance... But none of us can explain the appearance of the first two lights in particular.

It's difficult to draw an immediate conclusion, but the third seemed to be another type of flying object pursuing the first! two lights.

Green Glow emerges from Buffalo Mountain

While standing on top of the Radio Tower on Buffalo Mountain in the Tri Cities area (possibly Johnson City but also could have been Unicoi), I was taking pictures of the sunset over the Western Horizon. Within one minute, I took roughly seven photos and two of the photos captured the same, unknown image. None of the three people present saw anything with the naked eye and we did not notice the images until the following day.

The first photo taken at 16:55 & 38 seconds captured a very bright green glowing object that appeared to be illuminating from the trees, as if it were on the ground. The bright green glow also appears to be surrounding a physical object which reveals a shadow below it. The shape is truly unknown but appears to be a diamond or a T shape.

The second image taken at 16:56 & 5 seconds captured the image closer to the camera and appears to be in front of the tree line closest to us in the air. Oddly enough, this image does not reflect any solid shape or object.

Including in report but might not be crucial to the event: One of the people present was testing a new HAM Radio while on top of the tower. He made a connection and was chatting with another licensed radio user while I took the photos. During this time, there was about 20 seconds of radio disturbance and then went back to clear.

Location: Johnson City, NY, neighborhood of of Oakdale Road and Watson Boulevard.

As my son and I were traveling west on Watson Boulevard, away from the Oakdale Mall, I noticed an object with red and white lights, a cube or sort of square shape, hovering near a "power line tower". The lights were static and were not blinking.

I slowed down my car to about 15 mph to try to understand what it was.

It appeared to be about 500 feet or more above ground. It was large, but not huge.

My son was in the front passenger seat, and rolled down his window to get a better view.

I kept looking and driving slowly and then looked away so I could stay on the road.

My son kept watching it. He said he thought it was the size of about 3 cars.

My son also said that it began to move in a north, north east direction.

There was no sound whatsoever.

I finally turned the car around and pursued the direction we saw it traveling in.

We drove up Oakdale Road for about a mile and a half; until we lost sight of the object.

Orange and red circular fireball object traveling north about Interstate US Route 26.

I was driving south on US Route 26, nearing exit 19, when I noticed a circular orange ball in the sky, traveling northeast. It flew directly over me while I was traveling on the interstate.

At first I was not concerned about the sitting, but a truck was pulled off onto the right median and they were looking up and over there shoulder and pointing at the object.

I veered off the interstate and started driving north on North Roan Street. The object appeared to flash red at times, but this was not the same red light that flashes on an airplane. It seemed to be circling back south.

I proceeded to my destination, and watched as the fireball moved out of site to the north. I probably wouldn't have posted this if it wasn't for the truck that was parked on the median also looking at the same object.

I would estimate that it was two to five thousand feet in the air and had no sound at all.

At approximately 9:30pm in Johnson City, Tennessee while waiting for a 4th of July celebration, a circle shaped object was hovering in the sky behind me opposite to where the fireworks were going to be shot. It had a constant flashing of lights from green to red/orange color.

It moved in a way that I have never seen before. It was fast and would just stop completely still then shift left to right very fast then change directions.

It stayed there through almost the whole show then shot north towards Virginia.

I have never believed in things like this but I cannot lie about what I saw

Picture of a formation of 4 objects in the sky, North of Johnston City Texas.

I drove back from Dallas on Thursday afternoon. I came back via HWY 281.

Now, right before Johnson, TX, there was a manufactured home slowly being moved South, bringing a line of south bound vehicles to a crawl, sometimes to a dead stop.

I pulled out my camera and started taking random pictures of the clouds and fields around me.

This evening has been my first opportunity to take a look at the photos. I have 2 pictures that are identical, you can distinctly make out 2 bright items in the sky on the right side and a 3rd just above those. On the left side is a bright object in the clouds.

I was traveling South and just shooting pictures to the east, I was not even looking through the view finder. The window was up, but none of the other pictures have these objects on them.

I don't believe, but I certainly question what these objects are in the picture.

20 or more Reddish Orange lights form a upward arch in the sky and start swirling , making formations then disappearing slowly.

My husband was opening the window to let the air flow and notice Reddish Orange lights that appear to be over I-26 between Johnson City and Gray Tennessee. They were 20 to 24 lights moving upwards in an arch formation. As the lights approach the top of the arch the lights started to swirl in a counter clockwise motion, (slow blender looking) As the last of the lights reached the top of the arch, the lights started to disappear one at a time, but not before making different formations. The lights disappeared one at a time, very slowly. My husband came and got me and I looked up and saw the same lights but at this time about 10 of them making different formations. Every time a light disappeared the formation changed, , last pattern made was a triangle with 3 lights.

My husband is an 52 yr old engineer and I’m a 42 yr old stay at home mom.

Metallic cylindrical object seen hovering over Johnson City, TN.

I was driving north when my passenger spotted a shining object in the sky. It was hovering for several minutes before it moved quickly to the west. It came to a stop and hovered in this spot for about 10 minutes. Occasionally, it would flash very brightly, like it was turning and reflecting the sunlight. We got to our destination and pointed the object out to three other people. Someone brought out a pair of binoculars but the object was so distant that they didn't reveal much. It looked cylindrical. As we were observing it, the object began to rise straight up and eventually disappeared out of sight.

Silver, slowly rotating, pole shaped object - broad daylight

Saw cylindrical shaped silver object at significantly high altitude, approximately over Gray, TN, during daylight hours with excellent visibility. Object appeared to stand still in the sky, and flash intermittently. I watched the object for approximately 45 seconds to try to determine what I was looking at. I called my wife out of the house to check out whatever it was. We both watched the object remain completely unmoving in the clear, cloudless sky, for at least a minute. Without a good reference to scale, the guess of altitude was maybe 10,000ft, and about 3 miles distant from our point of observation, towards the WNW. I was interrupted by a cell phone call, during which, my wife retrieved a pair of binoculars for closer inspection. She observed a silver, telephone pole shaped object that rotated slowly, with no other apparent movement, laterally or vertically. The flash came from one side of the object reflecting the sun as it spun very slowly. Shewatched the object for several minutes while I returned inside. I finished my call and returned outside to find my wife clearly astonished by what we had both seen. She handed the binoculars to me, and when I turned to where the object had been, it was gone. She was confident that it was not a mylar balloon, (too long, skinny), nor any aircraft that was easily recognizable (no wings, not moving, no rotor). In that general direction lies the regional airport, and possibly even the approaches to Knoxville airport. My only possible explanation was atmospheric distortion of a flight climbing out of Knoxville, or maybe a weather balloon. I almost called the regional airport tower to see if they would confirm, but decided not.

After 2 days, my wife and I are still talking about it, so anybody out there who may have seen it, or knows what it was, feel free to post.

Observed tube extend from cylinder shaped object on 10/16/2012 on clear day

Was in my front side yard taking pictures of flowers and felt a presence. I stood up and turned facing west and was going to take pictures of fall trees when I observed a long circular white tube which had thin black segments at regular intervals extending from object in the sky that curved toward me.

At end of tube appeared to be a dull metal shield which opened like your top eyelid revealing a man who appeared to be in early 30's with black curly hair w/beard and mustache dressed in white robe seated and appeared to be working controls. The surface at end of tube appeared to be oval shaped and had black edges with amber color in middle but I could see man inside. Man never looked at me but I felt like I was not supposed to observe. I remember remarking "so that's how they do it" as the tube retracted back up to ufo and disappeared into bottom of object. This took about 25 to 30 seconds.

There was no sound. There were no clouds in the sky to obstruct view of object. There was no wind. At first I thought it might be a satellite in the sky. I was kind of nervous and felt really strange about what I saw but nothing happened. I questioned if I really saw what I did see. I was not afraid of it or that it would harm me. I just had a sense of curiosity. I went back into my house for about 5 mins. I came back out again to take more pics and to see if the object was still there. It was.

I decided I would go to my back yard to take pics of more flowers and a crepe myrtle tree. I then observed the object more nw as if it had moved to observe me. I tried to take more pictures of the object as I could still see it with my naked eye but could not find it thru the lens of my camera. I did observe a jet leaving a trail at the time the object was in the sky. I tried to take several pics at different areas of where ufo was located to see if I could capture it again with my camera but to no avail.

When I blew up the picture on my pc, there was a distinct glow of color around object. There were no wings or obvious fuel tank, etc. My daughter, who works in Johnson City for the local telephone company, along with fellow employees who were taking a break about 11:30 AM the same day, also saw the same object and many of them thought it was a satellite as well. They did not observe the tube. I was able to take 2 pics of ufo but quality was not the best as I had to zoom out my lens to get a picture and only limited zoom on my camera.

I was walking out of my car to my cousins apartment complex when above her roof I saw a large green ball of light go across the sky at incredible speeds from the upper left to the lower right of the sky til it disappeared out of my view. It was unreal I didn't know what to think.

And I was sober trying to explain this...thought it was a shooting star but I didn't think there are any green large shooting stars to my knowledge.

2, 3, then 4 red lights that stayed stationary, moved in and out and towards each other, at one point seemed very close.

I was going to bed, seen a glimps of red light out my window and thought it was an red/orangeish moon. So i stopped ato look at it for a second and noticed it was smaller than the moon and there were 2 objects. My second thought was mayb they were fireworks but they never exploded and stayed stationary. I ran downstairs went outside and stood and watched them for a min or so. They started to drift off so I came back inside, went back into my bedroom and seen them again outside my window, even closer this time and by this time there were 3. Then I ran back downstairs and watched them again. The second time i went outside there were 4 and 3 were stationary and 1 moved in toward another (across) and back out again. The lights were red and were not connected to an object. They did not move up or down. just closer and farther away and at points some stayed stationary while others moved in and out. I have not seen anything like it befor and as close as they seemed! at one point if it was a aircraft ...helocopter or something it would have made a sound. We have a medical center helocopter and I know that it looks like at night in the sky. This was not any kind of aircraft that i had ever seen. They looked separate too. I didn't get any sleep all night. I slept on my couch with all the lights on and kept waking up, no rest at all. Honestly, Im afraid to look out my window now at night. I don't want to see it again.

5 unusual lights appeared and disappeared into thin air.

My husband and I were standing outside and it had just turned dark. Clear skies. The moon wasn't out yet. We looked up to see 2 air crafts that were flying pretty close to each other. Then in a split of a second, one of them disappeared. Could see no lights. When that one disappeared ( maybe it shut it's lights off?) 3 more appeared. It's like they appeared out of thin air. The 3 new ones were traveling not far from one of the first 2 that I saw. They didn't appear to be going fast and had no sound and no trail like jets do. The last 3 were traveling in what looked like a triangle shape. The thing is, I have never seen the color of lights on any other aircraft. Dark orange and red. The orange was much brighter than the red. They were traveling a little higher than what a helicopter flies. and not as high as what a small plane flies. Now, I don't believe in UFO's but for a split second..I thought about it. haha! not really but maybe they were military. It was so weird because as quickly as they appeared out of nowhere, they disappeared in the same manner. Now you see it now you don't kind of thing. What kind of air crafts fly 5 at a time. They seemed close, like what you see when there are air shows and they fly in formation. It was really strange. We don't have any military base around here at all.

Duration: I seen this report and I live in Elizabethton and I have heard this same similar thing from many people. There is a Ford Dealership that operates and huge spot light at night, that can be seen in the same similar way from MILES AWAY! not all the time though called Grindstaff Ford. This is very possible what the reporter seen. Hope this helps to debunk.

Spotted a bright white light traveling east to west over Johnson City tonight. It was a simple, bright white light that was moving faster than any plane or helicopter we've seen. We saw it travel across an arc of ten or 15 degrees in the sky for about one second before it abruptly disappeared, like a light turning off. I've seen helicopters and meteor showers and this just didn't fit what I've seen before. It moved exactly like a meteor, but there was no streak behind it, and it was as bright as Venus, and it caught our eye right in the middle of town among all the street lights.

Dark, soundless triangle low in the sky, that had a solid light in each corner of the triangle.

I was at the bottom of my street at a big intersection and I saw one bright light straight ahead. It was probably a few miles ahead, and it looked pretty low in the sky... It was a real cloudy and rainy night with lots of lightning. I pulled out my phone right when I saw it, and as I drove through the intersection I was getting closer and closer, but the light was so dim, and with the rain, it wouldn’t show up on my phones camera... when I get to about 2 miles past the intersection, it was to the left of me… I look back at it and it wasn’t one light anymore, it was 3 lights in an equilateral triangle. I kept looking back at the road, back at the object. Keep in mind, there was no blinking lights on this object at all. I have never seen anything like this, and to be honest have never believed in UFO’s at all. At one point as I looked back at it, a flash of lightning hit, and I could very clearly see the object in the sky. It was a big, dark equilatera! l triangle, with a solid light on each corner of the triangle. Now, it was a dark rainy night, so it was hard to tell if the object was pretty small, and as close as it seemed, or if it was really way further away than I though, and a big structure. All I know is that it was under the clouds, so this object was very low to the ground, lower than planes ever fly around that area. I opened up my car window to see if I could hear it, because it was basically right on top of me. The object was making no sound at all, and was moving very slowly and sneaky through the sky. The road I was on was a highway type road, so I had to go way past it before I could get off an exit and make my way back towards it. When I got back to the general area of the site, it was nowhere to be seen... I’m curious to know if anyone else has reported that from last night, it happened around 11 pm, and there were many cars on the road that I was on. There is absolutely no way that I could have b! een the only person who saw it. What an unbelievable site. C! hanges m y whole perspective on UFO’s and what is really going on in the sky. Today, a friend and I saw something that we could not explain, the circumstances surrounding it were rather interesting to.

This is what I posted at Open Minds Forum, I was told I should probably report it here as well. So I am reposting it here, in hopes that maybe someone else in the area saw something similar? and maybe got a pic ? I was too late for a pic of the object, but I did get a good shot of the Military style helicopter.. someone said it looked like a next gen.Cobra? Not sure myself.

I know, this doesnt mean that what we saw today was 'ET', it just means that we are quite sure it wasnt an airplane, and it was far to low to be a satellite.. ( maybe new sats fly that low, but im not aware of them).

so it could have been ours (man-made), or who knows what.. but the fact the this "military" helicopter.. ( thats what im calling it, you can tell me what you think it is, i got a pic of the copter). .. but the fact that that came shortly after.. is interesting, though at the time, the two didnt even click....

we knew it wasnt the regular hospital choppers that fly over , but we were wondering why one of those would fly over. Not even thinking about the weird thing we saw a little while before it.

We were outback of my house, jamming a little on the Djembe and guitar, we were jamming for awhile, and after a bit, i just instantly got bored and stopped. My friend kept playing..

I looked over to the south, at a cloud shaped i thought looked like the shape of the united states kind of...

and i got the thought to mess with my friend, and act all excited and say "look dude a UFO", but i didnt get that out, instead i just looked straight up, maybe looking for more clouds or something, and saw waht looked for a second like just a shiny metallic ball.. and looked for another sec to be sure, and said to him.. in these words... " look dude, i was just going to mess with you about a ufo, and look..whats that?" he said, "I dont see it?" so i was pointing it out to him..... him still trying to find it..

by now, it was an elongated shape , a second or two after it appeared "ball" like to me, it got a little closer and looked elongated, so this was what i was trying to point out to him.

a second or 2 later he saw it, and my first words were.. " plane?" I really didnt think it looked like a plane, but.. you know.... lol He said, "man, i dont think thats a plane", i said " yeah it doesnt really look like it does it".... so we kept looking, as it flew north east... no noise to it like the planes that fly over constantly... just moved... not too fast...... but by the time he mentioned to go get my camera.. I ran in the house, and ran back out thru the front door where it was headed... and looked, couldnt see it.. i looked out back to phil, and said, where is it? you see it? he said yeah i lookin at it, hurry up... so.. i raann back to where he was... and i couldnt see squat, he tried pointing it out, but it was to far by then. haha, what a clown i am running around with a camera.. LOL anyway...

it was silvery white, maybe about 10 times as high as when planes fly overhead when getting ready to land.... ( best i can describe height).. LOL, silly way to describe it i know.

the "body" looked slightly 'thicker' than a planes body..

it didnt have wings, (no wings ive ever seen,) it had what i want to say looked like... uhhmmm.... ?claws? .. not claws.... but, kind of like a surfboard fin, on each corner pointing inwards, 4 of them from what i could see.

and down the middle of the "body" or tube or whatever one would call it, looked almost like a spiral... much thinner than the rest of the object.. not a defined spiral, but thats the best i can explain it.

my buddy said after a few minutes ~ "maybe a sattelite?" , i really dont think that could have been a sattelite. lol he later stated he didnt either.

I still had my camera outside from when i tried to get a shot of the other thing, and got a couple blurry ones of the chopper, but one decent one to, it was quite high up.

this helicopter does not look civilian to me.. its not a medical chopper... what is it? I dunno, now that i sit a couple hours later, seeing that weird thing and then the helicopter a little while later was weird/interesting. cool though.

hmmm.....

Heres the chopper pic not touched, and Ill asdd the blown up one in a few minutes, you guys might have something better to blow it up with, but ill do it anyway.

Watched 2 disks travelling at high speed over Boone Lake, TN.

I was sitting on dock with my fiancee' and sun was setting over Boone Lake when we saw two shiny disks approach from the north. The two disks were fairly far apart and one (disk( abruptly came to a stop. The 2nd disk almost appeared to pull up to the 1st; the remained still, in the sky for a few seconds and then the one shot off to the west at a great speed. The second one the continued on....we never heard a single noise like engines or anything. Then they were both gone.

Bright light traveling over Johnson City, NY heading over Binghamton 5/22/08

I observed the light approximately one mile from earth while looking up. It was bright and stayed bright until the trees by my house blocked my view. There were no flashing lights like an airplane or helicopter. It just was bright. It traveled at a steady speed about that of a helicopter. There was no sound. At first I thought it might be a helicopter going to the hospital but it didn’t turn. It just went in a straight line. I didn’t have time to get my camcorder because I was trying to figure out just what it was.

My girlfriend and I were sitting at a redlight when I noticed a tear drop shaped bright light not moving. We turned onto another road and found it in the same area of the sky again. It was kind of small but very bright. We saw it for about 5 minutes and then it just disappeared.

He called me over and we were watching for about 5 minutes or so when we saw the object get very bright almost as if it had stopped and just started glowing intensely. At this point, my son started watching and we were pointing at the object. Then two other planes came in from behind the object. They began flying in formation behind the object for several miles. The object itself was very light and seemed high in the sky. The planes followed closely behind the small light until it was out of view. The odd part was that we live near enough to the airport, that we see planes all the time. These planes made no sound at all. Strange object in the night sky over Johnson City, Tennessee

While out with a couple of friends having dinner on 5/24/07, I saw something very strange in the sky over Johnson City, Tennessee. We were sitting on the patio of the restaurant and I happened to look up at the sky and see what initially looked like a commercial jet's landing lights turn out. As it got closer it all of the sudden got very bright and increased in size dramatically. I would guess that the object was about 15,000 feet in altitude when I first saw it, but it's hard to tell when you don't know the size of the object. Anyway, after about 5 seconds at its brightest and biggest point, it immediately shot straight into the sky at an incredible rate of speed until it was merely a pinpoint of light about the size of a very distant star. It continued to move slowly at that point until it was out of view completely. I barely had time to mention it to my friends before it was too small to see, so as far as I know there were no other witnesses near me. I did not notice any other lights on the object and am quite certain that it was not an airplane, and it certainly moved faster and in a way that I've never seen a traditional aircraft move. All I had available to me was a camera phone and knew that it would not capture anything useful.

I have no doubt that I saw something amazing and beyond the norm. Truly remarkable.

Silver flying cylinder.

I saw a sliver cylinder fly from West to North at a 45 degree angle at NW. It has no exhaust or wings. It flew behind clouds and popped back through at times. It was going quite fast, faster than a jet. It was very high up (miles in fact). This is not the first time that I have seen somethin glike this.

Aircraft near miss with a "meteor", subsequent sightings

Appalachian recieved a report and confirmed with the FAA that a regional aircraft pilot reported a near collision with a meteor (22:05)while flying west of Tri-Cities at an altitude of 4500 feet. The pilot reported the "meteor" was at his elevation , in a level trajectory and very slow. Subsequently, several calls to the FAA control center at Tri Cities inquired about a burning aircraft.

Minutes later, a witness (who knew nothing about the aircraft report) reported having observed a large dark cigar shaped object hovering low over downtown Johnson City. She described the object as looking like a "Vietnam helicopter"( we assume a Chinook) with no props. The object was observed for several minutes as the witness drove. The object it's self was described as long, blunt , silent and having a white light on top and bottom with a larger light on the end which was hanging some 45 degrees lower toward the ground on this end. The witness reported that the object ascended and moved off quickly to the southeast.

Yet another report came in from Carter County from a person listening to a scanner and heard a discussion regarding a " unidentified flying object", laughter and a request to discuss the subject by cell phone instead of radio. A request to the county 911 office for futher information could find no records regarding this "ufo." All of these events took place within a 20-30 minute time frame which lead us to believe thay are possibly related.

A twitchy light object

While driving North on Route 201 between what is now know as the "fly by" and the Oakdale Mall, I noticed a bright cylander object in the west sky. It glowed and shimmered, almost having a whilte/silver aura around it.

The object was on the wrong side of the sky at that time to refelct sunlight. It was stationary for a few moments, then sped very very rapidly towards the north over a 1/4 of the sky within seconds, and then stopped again.

A few seconds later, the object shot behind a high cloud and was not seen again.

Very bright object in sky.

I was on my back porch and looked up and saw a bright object in the sky. At first I thought it was an airplane cause we are close to the airport and they turn their lights on when approaching the airport.

When I realized it wasn't an airplane I thought maybe it was a shooting star. It was very bright and lit up the sky. But what was so strange is, it was coming down (it was very high in the sky) at a high rate of speed then suddenly slowed down and took a left turn and then became a very faint light and then disappeared.

I sat and thought about it for a while to be sure it wasn't a plane and realized that it couldn't have been. The way it turned and the way it was coming down, there is no way a plane can move like that. It was very strange and very surreal feeling to have witnessed something like that.

I was thinking maybe some government had something entering the earths atmosphere. Like a satellite or something. Because that is what it looked like something entering the atmosphere and turning and flying away.

Stingray shaped object spotted

We saw a strange object that came from the south heading north. It was a completely clear night out no clouds in the sky what so ever. We estimated that the object was about 200-500 feet above tree top level. The object made no noise, it moved through our field of view in less than 10 seconds. It had an appearance of a stingray shape, the middle underside of the object was lit up but had a tan-brownish color, the edges of the object were distinguisable. It was a smaller size object, not apparent aircraft size (much smaller). No position lights were seen.

One of the observers has worked on aircrafts for 10 years both military and civillian and what was seen was nothing that could be explained.

strange lights over washington county tennessee

while observing the night sky i witnessed a light appear in the sky, which was moving in a trajectory that would be best described as a crash in the distance. the light was a bright white with a barely visible orange trail, about half the radius of the light. a moment later i spoke with a freind and informed him of what i saw. he and another freind came over and surely enough they both saw the same thing in a different part of the sky at about 9 pm. i did not witness the second event but the description was similar. then there was a tremendous amount of aircraft activity above us. we counted 35-40 planes in a period less than 1 hour. they seemed to be doing military maneuvers. the aircraft were dominantly heading to the locations where we had seen the lights. suddenly a flash of green light streaked across the sky directly above one of the aircraft. later another, more faint flash happened in front of another aircraft.

College Professor reports acorn shaped anomolous object

On this evening, I recieved a call from an Algebra Professor(ret) from a local college who reported to me that he was driving south on hwy 11-e just outside Johnson City when he saw a brilliantly lit, multi-colored object flying in tight circles to his southeast over a mountain.

He pulled his car over to the side of the road and watched the object for some 8 minutes as it performed impossible flight manuevers. He described the object as looking like an acorn with many lights in a ring around the base, flashing randomly red, blue, white ,yellow, magenta. He also saw what appeared to be an appendage of lights appearing to hang below the main body, also flashing.

After watching the object fly for several minutes, it slowly moved up and behind the nearby mountain. MUFON finds the witness highly reliable, accurate in his testimony and feel he did witness something quite strange.

A brite lite

My self and a friend were out for a smoke on my front porch. I happened to look across the road into a fleid and saw a bright white lite with little white lites circling around it. It moved north toward an airport about 2-3 miles away by air. It went behind some bushes and we waited. two mins passed and we were about to go back inside when it came back into sight heading south veary slowly, It then stoped and jetted into space at light speed. Circular craft cross sky, stops, and flies off

A circular craft, far up in the atmosphere was seen starting from a dead stop in the western sky, flying quickly to almost directly above me, and then stopping for about 10 seconds. The craft then made an abrupt change of flying quickly towards the north-north-east direction until it passed behind a building near the horizon. The craft was one single color of white-yellow. No windows could be seen. It was not a plane since it lacked the blinking wing lights. Like I said, it was farther up in the atmosphere than planes fly, but still lower than the ISS or satelites that we watch go by. When it moved in the beginning, I had taken it for a star since I was staring at the part of the sky for quite a few minutes. It moved across half of the sky in only 1 minute-90 seconds, stopped for 10 seconds, and made a 120 degree angle turn. What aircraft do we have that can pull this off? None! Circular and cylindar craft have been seen in this are many times recently. When will this be researched? I a middle aged professional, do not take drugs, hardly ever drink, and have no psychological problems. It just seems funny that people in the Southern Tier of NY report all of these craft, but never make it to the newspapers or TV stations.

this is getting odd.

Someone might find this interesting or may have had a simular experience.My son turned 4yrs. on july 4, 1999. For about the last year he has been talking about the 'people up there' (while pointing upwards). At one time he was crying and saying he wanted his own body back that the people up there had taken. This continued for several days untill he said he got his body back. He has told my wife and I about the people sticking him in the back with needles and of rides in space ships. Of course this could be just a very good imagination except for something odd that has been happening lately. One morning about 4:00am he comes into our bedroom, climbs on the bed, opens the blinds at the head of our bed and starts waving and saying bye. I work night shift but this woke my wife up. He has also woke my wife up a couple times lately to talk about space ships or to ask her if the space ship is coming to get him. Always at 4:00am. One day while playing with my son my wife asked him! what he wanted to be when he grows up. He is very intelligent and knows what different people in different professions do, to an extent. He said he wasn't sure. She asked if he would like to be an astronaught and he informed her that he didn't need to do that because he already has a ship and that the 'people' are showing him how to fly it. We found this incredibly nerve wrecking because not long before we found out my wife was pregnant with him I had a very strange experience. Basically, I had a dream I was part of a 2 man crew piloting a 'UFO'. There were several things that were extremely wierd about this dream that made me wonder if it was really a dream. I told several people about it and of course they laughed about it. It was quite a good laugh for them until about 2 weeks later when the local news reported that there where a number of UFO sighting and abduction reports in the area I was living in during the past 3 weeks. I don't get laughed at much anymore about it! . The experience/dream I had was not of being abducted but of being a functioning member of a 'alien' crew like my son has been reporting to us. He doesn't give specific details of the ship or landing 'base/planet'like I remember. I just find this strange. Oh, the night he was born or the night after he was born, the local news showed a video by a local person of 5 UFO's appearing to land in the mountains close to us.
