Orb sighting in the roadside shrubbery

It was dark outside, and I was sitting in the truck on the side of the road around 6-8 feet away from some small trees and shrubbery. My husband was outside the truck on the driver’s side. I started to look at the sky on the right side when motion and a light caught my eyes. I saw an orb around 10 inches in diameter appear around 8 feet high on the right at the tops of the trees. It was clear with a sight yellow gold color at the top left and a slight glow around it. It proceeded in a straight line diagonally down towards the left bottom of the shrubs and disappeared behind some shrubbery that were around 4 feet tall. I watched for a couple of seconds, but it didn’t not reappear. At that point, I felt uneasy and called to my husband to get in the truck. When he did so, I told him not to ask any questions, but to just get us out of there. We went back to the location two days later, but we couldn’t find anything unusual. I am a graphic artist and Instructional designer, so I was able to recreate the orb using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I took a photo of the shrubbery where I saw it and placed it in a PowerPoint file along with the orb. I animated the orb to show how it moved, and saved it as a video. It is correct except that when it reached the bottom left, it actually disappeared from view behind the shrubbery.

Starlike light moving erratically, north and south, back and forth, but moving at different speeds toward the west, overall.

Myself (male, 50s), my son (male, 30s), and two grandsons (15 and 11) were in the back yard, looking up at the sky for the Perseid meteor shower (which wasn't very active). My 15 year old grandson noticed the "star" moving erratically, first. After a minute or so, we all saw what he had seen.

I was laying in my zero gravity chair, facing the east, but looking straight up. The "star" was directly above us... maybe just a little east of zenith. The "star" was definitely not a satellite, as I have seen many of those before, and understand their movements. What we were seeing was what looked like a star, but it was moving (not at a steady speed) toward the west. It appeared to stop quite often, but not for long. It would also move from side to side (north and south), while still moving in a westerly direction. Sometimes slowly, and other times a little faster. After watching for about 45 minutes, I had to move my head backwards to the point where it became uncomfortable.

All of the other stars in the sky were still in their same general position, but the one we were watching had moved considerably. I also have a tree in my back yard that I could use as a landmark. After about an hour, the "star" had moved about 10 degrees toward the west. We did not watch it until it was no longer able to be seen, since it was late. It could have been lit up by itself or it could have been reflecting sunlight. There was no change in the intensity of the brightness, though.

I was putting my dog out and happened to look up at the sky. I noticed a bright light and thought it was Venus. As i looked at it, it started to blink and move to my left. After about 5 seconds it made a 90 degree left hand turn. It then made another 90 degree turn for 5 seconds during which time it was out of sight due to a tree top blocking my view. It made another 90 degree turn and ended up where it started. I woke my wife up and she witnessed it along with me doing the same thing multiple times.

The one behind it, looked different. Unfortunately, I only got a couple of photos and didn't think of taking a video, I really was surprised that I got any photos at all. It was dark and I didn't have my glasses on.

6 plus people witness a bright light .oving in strange directions

Basically, 5 people plus myself were sitting out by the pool late Sunday night. We collectively watched what appeared to be a large light moving in multiple directions without the use of jet propulsion. After watching it zip about for a few minutes, two other lights appeared and seemed to form an equilateral triangle between the three. We ran into the house and up to the observation tower and gathered a few more people to help us determine if what we saw was our imagination. As we all gathered together on the lookout it seemed to have stopped moving, almost as if we had spooked it.

On a side note, I was laying up in the lookout tower the next afternoon and as soon as I laid down I felt a sensation as if I had become paralyzed. I could only move my eyes around the room. I had this sensation that there was an attempt to communicate. Yet there was no voice or internal dialog I could still sort of understand was was trying to be said . I was lead to believe that I was going to be used as a way observation. Similar to how people watch animals interactions in the wild on Nat Geo.

Shape not visable, lights appeared in perfect straight line. 3 lights total, perfectly spaced. Craft appeared to be huge in size, lights appeared 1/2 inch apart at that distance, front two lights flashed in perfect sequence color was a very deep red like LED lighting. Third light flashed when first two went dark, 3rd light flashed once red then white. Craft was totally silent, and in my area we have no noise, total silence. Perfectly clear evening, We watched the craft travel from southeast to northwest very slow. At the end of the siting, the craft began to turn west, the first two lights became closer together while the 3rd light kept the same space apart then the craft was heading west over Ky. No camera available, I would agree to speaking with an investigator if sighting was taken serious

Four fireball orbs visible over Pymatuning Lake.

My husband and I were leaving, walking along the shoreline of Pymatuning Lake in Jamestown, PA, when we saw three large reddish-orange glowing orbs in a triangle formation. He saw them first.

They moved slowly over the lake, and at first, I thought they were newspaper lanterns. When my husband said that they were much larger than that, I began to watch them and realized they were not lanterns, nor were they anything we'd ever seen before. We estimate that they were probably around the Andover, Ohio, area, but appeared large to us, even though we were about seven miles away.

As we watched, we saw fourth light, a smaller light trailing behind. They glowed, but the three larger orbs held formation while the smaller--more distant--seemed to try to catch up.

They disappeared suddenly as they approached a tree line.

Two bright lights resembling a large star with orange around its perimeter flew past me within minutes of each other.

A bright, large, light that had an orange haze around its perimeter appeared in the northern sky. It was flying slowing at an altitude of approx. three to four thousand feet. From a distance, it appeared to have a few tiny sparks shooting out from the bottom. The sparks disappeared as the object got closer.

It had no other lights of any kind that would identify it as a conventional aircraft. I did hear the faint sound of an airplane that was flying at a much higher altitude in the distance.

This bright light that looked like a large star with orange around it flew past me and slowly ascended until it it completely disappeared.

Just as I was trying to process what I had just seen, another bright light identical to the first one flew by me, repeating the same pattern.

Orange lights blinking in and out.

I walked out onto our back porch to have a cigarette at about 7:45PM. A light caught my attention in the southeastern sky. I would estimate it to have been about 20 degrees off the horizon. I got the impression that the light was not very far from the edge of town but it's difficult to say. It was round or spherical and a medium shade of orange with no other colors apparent. There appeared to be a slight aura surrounding it. The light seemed to be moving very slowly toward what would be northeast of my position. It hadn't gone very far at all when it suddenly "blinked out". Seconds later a new light of the same description and apparent size "blinked on". The new light was trailing behind the first. In other words, I do not believe it to have been the same light. The second light, like the first, blinked out after a few seconds. Now, several more lights of the same description and size appeared in the following seconds, however, they did not all follow the same movement pattern of the first two. Some moved up, some moved down etc. There were also instances where two lights would appear together but there never seemed to be more than two illuminated at once. A few of the lights did make some rather erratic movements as well. I do not believe they were simply being blown by the wind. All of the lights blinked out or disappeared within a few seconds of appearing. The lights did not seem to flicker. I saw nothing dripping from them or being cast off them. Seven to ten lights would be my best estimate as to how many I saw in total. The event lasted no more than thirty to fourty-five seconds. I would estimate each light to have been about the size of a small pea at arms length. The general look and movement of the lights seemed odd to me. There is no way for me to be sure of course but I didn't get the impression that they could have been airplanes, helicopters, flares or fireworks. I've never noticed any weather ! phenomena resembling this either and I've lived in the immedia! te area for most of my life. Definitely unusual.

Two red/orange plasma shapes, soundless, close range for 3 minutes by two witnesses one following the other by about 60 secs then vanished

About 9 PM on 8/4/15, two orange/red UFO’s flew right over head on Bull Point. The first one came from the southwest to the northeast, and disappeared up in the atmosphere over the bay.

The second followed it a moment later, but was much lower, at least when I first saw it. It pulsed like orange jellyfish and had no sound, but was quite bright, with a slight ocular quality like a cornea in an eye that kept pulsing.

The second one was pretty low as they passed over the hill, maybe helicopter height, floating along slow enough to see some detail in the color shifts. Not like a mechanical ship, more like an organic life form. The light itself was the whole entity and it wasn’t geometrically structured, but more fluid in shape.

As they disappeared, they grew smaller and seemed to have a tail, both in the same spot in the sky. Probably accelerating up very fast.

I definitely had the sense the second one was aware of us yelling at each other to see.

I ducked in to get my camera, but when I got outside, it was trailing off.

When outside with our dog around 6:30 pm on Sat., Nov. 16th, I spotted a bright white orange light pulsating somewhat coming above the SW tree line horizon. Its location, seemingly, would have put it over the Atlantic Ocean with the towns of Narragansett and N. Kingston to its left. It was moving the speed of a slow plane, but absent any blinking lights. It almost appeared to be a plane on fire. No trail, however, was evident as such an event might generate.

I watched it go directly overhead on a NE trajectory toward Portsmouth, RI. And it was soundless. A meteor? Too slow. An unmanned flame-driven hot air balloon of some kind? Too fast and steady in its trajectory. There was little wind. And its consistent horizontal path did not suggest a flare of any kind.

Moments later, a second object, similar in size, appeared following the same trajectory. As I watched both recede toward the NE horizon, I called my wife to come outside to see if she could get a glimpse before they disappeared.

Then a third object appeared on the SW horizon, followed, yet again, by a fourth. She could see what had caught my attention. They passed directly overhead, spaced in much the same fashion as the previous two, about fifteen seconds apart (as they emerged over the horizon). And each took about seventy seconds to pass from horizon point to horizon point. And as the others, they were round in shape. The light emanating from all was flame-like white orange...again, with no sound at all. All four moved at a speed and trajectory that did not suggest floating objects. My inability to ascertain the light source made altitude difficult to assess. My best guess: four to eight thousand feet, because one could see a somewhat pronounced, not perfectly symmetrical flame-like flickering, but very bright. But they could have been much higher, given their unfamiliarity. Nothing about these objects suggested a normal aircraft.

We speculated that folks traveling east across the Jamestown Bridge would have had a good view, and my wife elected to call the Jamestown Police. We were curious if anyone else had reported sighting these objects, all of which passed in about an eight-minute time span. The police had received no reports, but sent a young officer to whom we recounted what we had witnessed.

Odd shaped "ball" of light came in from W& curved NE, not fast, below cloud cover. Silent. Might have discharged very small sparks.

It was about 10:50pm EST. My wife and I were walking outside to her car, as she had to go to work and I was seeing her off. I looked to the west and saw a yellow-orange light in the west, heading east, coming towards us.

At first I thought it was an aircraft, possibly a helicopter, as there is a trauma flight helo pad a couple blocks away and it was moving at a slow rate of speed. But there was no noise. I then pointed it out to my wife. Then we both thought it might be meteor, as is did seem to be flaming and shedding very small sparks. The sparks were few and very small, coming both from the rear of the object, as well as the sides toward the rear.

But the sky is overcast (rained all day) and the object was below the cloud cover.

The object wasn’t perfectly round, nor oval, nor did it have a long tail. It did seem to have almost a “bullet with wings” shape, as it passed more sidelong to us, like the flame was forming some kind of small “wings”. They weren’t wings, but the flame, the closer it got, spread out in a short winged shape The object seemed to curve to the NE.

It appeared to be a deep orange as it went out of sight to the northeast.

I did run to grab my camera and have it on video, though not sure of the quality.

Orange Orb/Disc over Pymatuming Lake

At Pymatuming Lake. The fireworks were about to begin. We were sitting next to the dam overlooking the lake.

About five minutes after the test firework went off. We saw this bright glowing orange, yellow, reddish orb, disc fly up in the horizon. It was miles in the distant horizon. It was ascending at a steady pace traveling west to southeast.

No noise was heard. No flickering lights.

As it continued to travel in a SE direction. It shut off. We thought it disappeared.

We immediately fixed our sights on it again, and it was totally black. Still traveling at a the same rate of speed torwads the south.

We all thought then this was not a plane or a helicopter. Because planes or helicopters cannot just turn their light off.

We were able to take pictures of it with our phone cameras. Was able to zoom in real good. The orange orb/disc if clear in sky.

On 06/09/2012 at approx.1055PM my Husband and I were returning home and as I got out of the car I could see 2 red lights over the neighbors garage moving quickly north east in the sky. One was directly behind the other over the neighbors garage at about 1 o'clock. I heard no noise or motor like a plane, jet, or helicopter. I yelled to my husband to look and he ran closer and attempted to take a picture with his cell phone. The 2 red lights were followed by another red light as it flew and came into view over the garage followed by a white light. It appeared as though they were flying one behind the other in equal distance. One by one they disappeared from my view because of the street tree line and I did not see where they went from there.

I was coming down Main Street in Jamestown, NC, heading east toward Greensboro, NC. The time was between 12:35am and 12:40am, I know this because I had just clocked out from work, I had just turned onto main street, when I noticed a reddish orange fiery light in the top center of my windshield. I couldn’t shake the annoying light and started to stare at it to figure out where it was coming from. At some point driving down the road, I could view the object out the drivers’ window, it was in the dark sky and had reddish orange strings of light bowing at the top and bottom forming an oval shape. At one point of viewing it, I could see that the oval of light had a then sliver of darkness in the middle separating the top and bottom of the oval light. I was so intrigued I pulled off and stopped in parking lot to observe the flying object.

At first, the object seemed to be hovering close enough to see well. After a minute or two it slowly faded away, getting smaller and smaller. I got back in my car and started driving home. Then thought to myself, "I just saw my first, real UFO!" After this realization, I had a little brain strain in the left side of my head. It went away though.

Then I called friends to tell them of the event.

These sightings have been ongoing since January 2009. They occur nightly without fail. All photo captures are from the front yard of my home. I have over 5000 still pics of these objects. I have compiles them into a few video compilations and I have posted them on you tube. I AM A 48 YEAR OLD MALE. I do not prank and I take what I am getting pictures of very seriously. They were all captured at night. Upon hearing you on Coast to Coast last night. it seems as though pranks are an issue and a pain in the neck for your organization. I would think that it would be. As you don't want to be pranked, I do not want my intellect insulted. I filed a report with MUFON and must say I was embarrassed for that organization for its lack of integrity. The investigator made contact with me via the phone having never even looked at the pictures that I submitted. If you initiate an investigation please at least view what I am offering before contacting me, or please do not contact me. I am also not inclined to listen to the "satellite or other heavenly bodies meme". Satellites and other heavenly bodies do not get within 2500 feet of one's home. Lastly , if there is no interest in what I have photographed that is understandable. Again there is much to more elaborate on these things and will should you be interested.

Very bright colorful lights.

While walking my dog, I notice a strange light in the sky with red, yellow lights.

I went in side of my house and told my wife. We both step out onto our back porch and both seen the same thing.

At times it seem that the lights was rotating from red, yellow, green.

It was not a plane, due that it stayed in the same position for as long 30 min or so then vanish in thin air.

Silver saucer about 35 to 50 feet long., disappearing in front of my face

Walked out of my front door around noon. Looked up and saw 2 crafts. There was a silver saucer just barely moving. Below the saucer up in front of it was a red crop duster aircraft. The plane was moving at a normal pace and probably did not see the saucer above and behind the plane. I ran in the house to my basement to get my camera. It took me maybe 30 seconds to find camera and run to the back door. Looked up and saucer was sky in back yard. Almost like it was waiting on me. I had my camera so I lifted camera up to take picture. While doing this I was started cursing the object. I got you, nothing you can do about it. I am going to get all the proof I need. The object started to change shapes while I was looking through the view finder. The end of object started to look like the tail of a plane. So I lowered the camera to get a better look. The silver saucer completely disappeared. Not one cloud in the sky and completely beautiful blue skies! . Looked around for saucer to see if it might reappear. No such luck. Highly disappointed that I did not get a picture of the saucer. If I get another chance I will be using video mode. It was as if the craft has changed dimensions. like changing frequencies morphing and disappearing.

Ufo over lake cumberland.

My Wife and I saw a Triangle shape ufo. it had a cupple of lights, I think three. It was over lake cumberland coming towards Clifty Creek Rd. which is in Russell County just south of Jamestown, Ky. I was at the new water tower off clifty creek which is the hihest point in Russell County. The Ufo just hoovered and moved at times toward town then hoovered again and then vanished. This is the first time i've every seen anythinglike that here in my 17 years. Not sure if the lights were a beam or not, however there was a small twin plain which did fly over about 20 min. prior. Poss. landing at Jamestown Airport. Hope this helps.

bright blue star that moves in strange patterns across the sky(and yellow)

I am not exactly sure what I am looking at. when I was in new orlean's I saw a yellow and a blue object in the sky. I am very curious about u.f.o.'s so I watch the sky constantly. they are real. it was new years 2008. I watched the sky and I saw an object in the sky that looked like a star(it was brighter). I watched it for about 2 hours. it was stationary most the time but if you watched it closely it moved in circular patterns(also zigzags). that was the yellow one. later on I watched a blue one that pretty much didn't move. I knew that they were u.f.o.'s at the time. A week later I came home to Jamestown N.Y. and watched the sky closely. the same objects that I saw down in new orleans seemed to have followed me back. I am assuming that they are different air crafts but they generally look the same. When I go to smoke a cigarette outside of my friends house if someone is walking by I question them. most will say "what the fuck is that" I agree. I know satellited move across the atmosphere and this craft has been in the air for about 3 months. The Yellow craft is not as vibrant as the blue. the blue craft I can see about every night.

I was lying in a field at about 10: 00 PM on April 13th 2006. There was a thin covering of clouds and a full moon.

As I was looking upwards some movement in the sky caught and drew my eye. It was a black triangle below the cloud level gliding along absolutely silently. It was in the form of an isosceles triangle with red lights along the leading two edges.

They didn't blink and what struck me as strange was that there was no green light like on a conventional aircraft and the odd formation they were in.

It glided overhead and I kept it in view for about 15 seconds.

Lights in the november sky

It was about an hour before midnight on an unseasonably warm November first. I was with my friend on a beach enjoying the clear sky. The water was calm, the air cool and the stars shining. We both witnessed a shooting star. At first it was blue and after it broke up some, it turned green then finally vanished leaving a gray trail. I saw a red shooting star that my friend unfortunately did not get to see.

I was sitting on the beach facing east and turned my head to face north-northeast. I first saw a flash of light, like a fat short lighting bolt with even sides. The end of the flash bent to my left slightly, then disappeared. What appeared then I can describe as a small dot of light. It was an orange-yellow color and it just stayed in the same place motionless.

After a moment it started to move to my left. At first I figured it was a helicopter, but it soon made a manuver I haven't seen a helicopter make (aviation has been a hobby of mine all my life). It went down at a 45 degree angle to the right for a moment, then stopped. It glowed different colors after it stopped, from yellow to orange, then the light suddenly disappeared.

We both watched in amazement of what we had just witnessed. After no more then 10 seconds the light reappeared in the same position. This time it was shifting from red, yellow to orange (in no particular order). The light then moved to the left, and then in front of it several different colored lights appeared. I would say there were 3 green lights and one yellow/white light. The formation of lights slightly resembled an airplane, but pretty soon the lights were changing formation.

More yellow/white lights appeared and the green lights went into a triangular formation. As the lights moved to the right, my vision of them was obstructed by trees. As the last light was just about to vanish by the trees, it violently changed colors from red to yellow/white. The rate it was flashing was like a strobe light. It then was gone.

The objects were only round dots, like the period at the end of this sentence.

Me and my friend are both 18 years old and male. We were only star gazing looking at constellations on a beautiful night.

A few minutes after witnessing this my friend became irrationaly afraid of a noise in the bushes behind us. It was just a deer and nothing to be afraid of, and he knew it; but he still wanted to leave the beach. I told him to calm down and to give me a cigarette. I layed down on the beach trying to make sense of what happened.

Halfway through the cigarette I sensed an overwhelming sense of dread and panic, basically my brain demanded that I leave the beach. I told this to my friend and he agreed wholeheartedly. We walked back to my house and didn't talk much of what we saw, we mainly focused on the shooting star we both saw.

For some reason we both try to deny what we saw. We told our friends but the memory is a burden, it feels like something only crazy people would talk about. We both tried to agree to not mention it again.

2 brightly lit hovering aircraft spotted in western new york/ nw pennsylvania of april 05.

I live in the city of about 60,000 people and normally cannot see the night sky clearly as the city lights obstruct my view. But on April 8, 2005, at around 10pm, a bright light in the sky was clearly visible and almost mesmurizing.

What at first looked like a very bright star or planet had captured my eye. After watching for about a minute, I noticed blue, then red, then yellow lights which appeared to be circling the aircraft. At times the spacecraft would zig then zag, and you could easily see it rising and lowering slightly. I knew this wasn't a plane or helicoptor, nor was it a star or a planet.

I first called my husband who was travelling home through western Pennsylvania. He and his coworker were travelling together, and as soon as I mentioned this weird light in the sky, he claimed that they too had seen it.He said they had even stopped to get a better look. They agree that they saw blue, red, and yellow lights and it was moving in strange directions. He also stated there was another one that looked identical off towards the east. (I could not see the 2nd one from my window) I made phone calls to various family and friends. All but one, went outside and witnessed it on the phone with me.

A relative in Steadman, NY spotted the 2nd one as I was on the phone with him. He and his nephew watched with binoculars and could clearly see distinction between the red and blue lights.

The light slowly started to fade away at time and then would reappear as bright as ever. I slowly headed off to west by about 11:30pm. I could still see it out my window, but it was blending in more and more with the other stars and I had to struggle to see it. At that time I decide to take a drive out into the country where I could get a better view. But by the time I got onto the highway, the first light had complete gone out of sight and the second was following the same direction. They were now much farther away then when first spotted. You could not make out the color changing lights as well, but you could still watch it hovering on the horizon.

By 1pm, it was completely out of sight.

My cousin, in Steadman was measuring it's location by using the utility pole in his yard. He could not believe how an object he had watched hovering for so long could move across the sky and out of sight so quickly.

I was baffled and probably will continued to be. It was extremely exciting to have witnessed it. I hope to see other stories of last night's sky show.

This is hard to describe. It appears in the clouds as a horizontal oval formation of many circular lights that rotate around in the shape of this oval in a direction opposite the motion of the entire formation. For example, when the formation moves from left to right, the circular white lights rotate in a counterclockwise direction. This repeats from left to right... dissapears....right to left....dissapears...left to right and so on for the duration of around 1hour. It was first seen by a coworker who pointed it out and showed it to others.

Rotating triangular lights fly overhead, stops and hovers in sky for 30 min before taking off at extremely high speeds.

At around 9:45 p.m. on a clear starry night me and a friend were waiting outside my house for his older brother to pick him up. He was messing around on his skateboard while I was sitting on the curb. After he messed up a trick he was working on he looks up to the sky and says, "Is that what I think it is?!" I look up to see three white lights in the shape of a right triangle flying directly over my head moving from west to east, rotating slowly clockwise. It was travelling at a speed faster than a helicopter but slower than an airplane. It made absoutely no noise and blocked the stars behind it. It is hard to judge size and altitude of the craft but I would guess around 15-25 feet from point to point.

After it got to a point in the sky it stopped moving, but kept rotating in place slowly drifting around. We watched it for a good 15 minutes when my friend's brother showed up in his car. I ran to him and told him to turn off the car and look at this. After a minute of trying to point it out (it was rather hard to see at this point on account of how bright the stars were and how far away it was) we realized that me and my friend were actually watching two different crafts that everyone could see, both hovering and rotating.

10 minutes after the 3 of us watched the crafts, one just randomly vanishes, while the other's lights turned to a red/brown color (maroon?) and took off extremely fast heading north.

But that wasn't the end of it! Freaked out, we kept staring at the sky for another 30 minutes or so before we spotted 4 white lights in the shape of a trapezoid once again going from east to west, the lights slowly moving in and out of the shape of the craft. This one didn't stop to hover at all it just kept moving until it was out of sight.

Shortly after my next door neighbor pulls up seeing us staring at the sky and starts asking questions. It didn't take long for him to start talking about his various UFO experiences and then again we saw more lights like the trapezoid, except this time it was two groups of two lights acting the same way the first one did, moving closer then further together.

Well we stuck around for awhile long staring at the sky talking about the occurance trying to rule out any explanations. It was spring time and geese will fly in formations similar to what we saw the last three crafts. Shortly after that came up we actually saw geese flying not east to west, but south to north. They were slower, loud, and not pulsing in and out like we saw before.

Three years later, around the same time in the year, I was working at a restaurant in the same town. It was about 11 or so at night and I out back taking a smoke break when I actually saw two more pairs of two lights pulsing in and out, heading east to west just as I saw on the night that I had just described.

I would also like to note that about 100 miles west of where this all happened is a military base.

When I was 14 a friend and I were playing in her backyard right out side of Jamestown, Kansas, on the trampoline. At 11pm in 2003. It was a long time ago, so I do not remember the day or month! I was looking towards Cortland and she was looking toward Jamestown.

All the sudden she yelled my name. I turned to see what she was yelling about right above the shed was a large white light there was no sound.

We ran inside to tell our parents who did not believe us. The next day in school many students were talking about the white light that they saw by Jamestown so there were some people who did believe us.

Object resembling airplane light blinked in random patterns, moved strangely, then very quickly for a sec., turned red and dissappeared

Four of us (3 guys and one girl) were sitting on a beach (Sheffield's cove) in Jamestown, at night, and one of my friends said, "I thought that airplane over there was a firefly." So we all looked in the direction of the airplane, and sure enough it looked like an airplane flying in the distance, pretty far off. (It was a small light) We all thought it was funny our friend would mistake an airplane for a firefly. It caught our interest, and we all kept staring at the "airplane". It was blinking, more like pulsing, a white light, and it was pretty dim, and there was no repetitious pattern to the pulsing, it was a completely random order. It would blink a bit, then not blink for a few deconds, then blink a few times rapidly, and so forth, and something about it seemed odd to everyone there. (Except one of us, who we later discovered was looking at a real airplane in the sky, and thought we were nuts. We realized he was looking way to the left of the object were staring at) I couldn't figure out if the object was moving or not, it seemed to remain motionless, but then i made the suggestion out loud to compare it to the tree level to see if it is moving right or left. The trees were pretty far away, and there was an inch of sky between the object and the tree line from where we sat. (You know what I mean) So we all (except for the guy who wasn't looking in the right direction) were in agreement that it was moving to the right a bit. But then it seemed like it was back where it had been. We watched this thing for a few minutes, debating whether we were hallucinating or if was really was moving from side to side like this, but never the less something seemed very strange about it. Then it obviously moved higher in the sky, before dropping back down and to the right in a very quick motion, so fast that it left a trail in our vision. It had moved about an inch to the right in the sky. Then it was motionless again, while the three of us were all kinda freaking out and "did you see that?" sorta stuff. Then it sank below the trees, reappeared about 20 seconds later, just above the tree line, when it changed from a white light to a pulsing red light. Then it sank back down and was gone. It made no sounds. The whole incident lasted 5 minutes. It in the direction of north in the sky from were we were sitting. Northeast slightly.

((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS:

I already submitted the report, but I left out the date and time, which is important I assume. Also, it was a very clear night outside, and yes there were airplanes in the sky that night, one flying at the same time as the object we saw, this being the plane the 4th person was looking at, thinking it was the object we were all bugging about. He made no suggestion that the plane he was staring at was acting in any strange way.))

I've watched the skies for several years and have never seen any lights do what these 3 did.

I was outside making sure my animals were put up for the night, and I had just let my dog out. She had twisted her chain up so as I got that straightened out I was looking at the stars. I'm familure with the planets and with how airplanes look as they pass over. I saw nothing unusual until I looked toward the north. There I saw a bright light come on. It grew in brightness until at one point it was brighter than the planet jupiter. It only tooks a few seconds to grow in brightness, then it went out. The total time the light was on was about 8 seconds. When it went out I could barely make out a small light that was dimmer than a very distant star and much smaller than an airplane. I watched it travel for a few seconds when another light, just like the first, came on in front of it. It did the same with the light coming on then going out. I watched them take turns doing this with several seconds in between the time one light would go bright. When the two were dim they didn't have any blinking lights on them at all that I could see. When they were nearly out of my view I saw another light, the same as the first two, come on go out but it was going in the opposite direction. I watched it do that for several times then went to get my husband. When he came out none were to be seen, even though the 3rd light should have been visible. We watched and saw no lights, not even those of planes. The first two were coming from a south-east direction going north-west while the 3rd was taking the same path only in the opposite direction.

Husband saw a greenish/white streak that seemed to be motionless

My husband didn't want to report this but after I heard you on Art's show last night I thought I'd report what he told me. Last night around 6:05 pm (central) he was driving home when he saw a streak of light that seemed motionless. He said that if he had measured it in the car window it may have been about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. He's not sure about the width as his view was partially obscured from the trees. He noticed it for quite a few minutes from what I gather. He said it didn't seem to move, in fact it seemed to follow his car. He said it was very bright and was greenish/white in color. He thought he'd get a better view when he came around a curve and it was less wooded. When he did, where this object should have been it was just gone. He slowed down and looked for it but it was gone. I believe he said it was in the western sky. If it helps, on the map we're about in the middle of Tennesse, nearly on the TN/KY border. A very slow moving, white with a greenish tint streak of light moving in a northern direction.

My wife wrote to you earlier of my observation. I was traveling home on the evening of the 16th, and at 6:05 p.m., a light out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. When I looked up into the sky, just above the woodline, I saw a streak of white light with a greenish tint to it traveling very slow in a northern direction. There seemed to be broken up in sections, like the lights might have been windows. I had heard earlier that day that there was a meteor shower scheduled for that evening, so I thought I was seeing one of the meteors. But it traveled so slowly, so I continued to watch it while driving down this curvy road. The view of the object was cut-off by the woodline every so often so I couldn't tell if it was a low flying airplane of some sort. I've been in the reserves for 13 years now and I've flown in transport planes and they can fly at a very slow rate also, so my next guess was that, maybe a C-130 or something like that. I knew that in a moment I would come to a clearing and I would get a good view of the craft, because by the time I came to a curve, the object was completely obscured by the woodline. When I came to the clearing, which was only 8 seconds from the last time I saw the object, it had vanished. It was a clear, starlit night. I heard nothing, but I had the windows up. There wasn't any traffic in front of me or behind me during this event. It wasn't a reflection of any lights on the inside of the vehicle or the other side of the vehicle. The craft, or object, was moving ever so slow in the same direction as I went around a few curves. I'm not a believer in UFO's, but I don't renounce them either. I'm the type of person who has to see it to believe it. I would like to know what it was though. I know the heading of the craft is right because the next morning (this morning) I took a compass to the sight and noted my bearing. Just thought you'd like to know. Thanks for listening.

Sitting with my friend on a rock on a cliff at Fort Wetherill in Jamestown, RI one evening. We noticed what looked like headlights on a road across from us. This was not strange since we see cars driving on this road when we come here. However, these headlights did something different. Instead of following the roadway they stopped and “drove” right onto the ocean. This is when we both realized these were not headlights. They were not a boat. We came to this spot often and knew what we were seeing wasn’t anything we have ever seen before. They continued hovering over the ocean as they moved along in front of us from our left towards our right. The lights remained the same distance away from each other even when changing direction. They got to a point where they were straight ahead of us about 300 feet away and then they disappeared into the ocean. The entire situation lasted for about 10 minutes. We left and never went back again. Ended up marrying my friend and recently talked about it. We both still have no clue what we saw.

I saw what I thought was a planet because it was in the ecliptic plane. Further observations concluded no lights or becons, no sound and a slow movement from East to West. As it moved further away, it appeared to be somewhat of a triangular shape with two lights that looked like a type of propulsion system on the back, but the actual shape was hard to be determined, it looked triangular like I said, but cannot be positive of that. Appeared to be about 10,000-15,000 feet with absoulutely no sound. It was a dull yellow color that was headed towards populated areas such as Youngstown and Cleveland. I have taken several astronomy classes in college and my father who wittnessed it also flew for a major airline for 30 years, and he said he had no idea what it was.

sliver orb, seen flying with air force one

i must go back to a year before this siteting,,,to explain what i originaly thought i saw. It was a sunny clear day,,i was out on the patio laying on a lounge chair and i happend to look up to a very clear blue sky,,,and saw a strange,,,oval silver object floating is best way i can describe this,,,,,it was floating fast from north to south,,,,,i watched it because i am out there all the time ,for twenty years or more and have never seen anything like this,,,it waw mesmerizing,,,,well i just told myself this must be a weather baloon, since i hadn't ever seen one before.

The dates i have given are approximate,,it was during the last part of the "clinton" administration. The president was comming here to stay at a place called, "Chautauqua Instution", this is a place he had visited in the past as govenor. This was to be some kind of meeting with dignitaries, i am not sure of the excate reason for this visit. The president flew in a day or so before the first lady, and came in on "air force one" hellichopter. A day or two later, Hillary flew in. I was home that day,,,,,and as the chopper carrying the first lady flew towards my home,,,,i went outside,,,on my front walkway to try to get a look at it, as this is not something that normally happens. I saw the chopper , which was realy loud come into clear view,,,,,on another clear sky day,,,,not a cloud in the sky that day,,,so i could see this , and it was flying very low,,,what i saw next,,,,was what realy caught my attention,,,,,and i couldnt stop looking at this shiney silver,,,,orb,,flying directly above the 'air force one" chopper, that is when i thought to myself,,,this couldnt possibly be a weather balloon as i had thought the first time i saw one of these in the sky. What realy bothered me,was that i would have thought that the air space in our area would have been closed , with the first lady and airforce one flying. I went into the house,,,,,and i couldnt help but wonder,,,,,what in hell had i just seen. How is it possible, that something would be allowed to fly,,,this close,,,,to air force one. I thought about calling someone,,,but i didnt know who,,,so i let it go,,,thinking that ,,,i couldnt possibly be the only person to see this. Its just not possible. I never heard any reports on our news about anything seen by anyone that day. All i can say,,,,,,is that god as my witness,,,,i did see a sliver oval object flying with that chopper,, right over the first lady. If it werent for that, i think i would just ignore it,,,but i felt i had to say something to someone,,,the thought of this just doesnt totaly fade awa! y. I am sure that the dates i gave that are not excate, as i dont remember excately when it was,,,,but it was in the last part of his administration. I am sure that this date can be checked in the archives of our local news paper," the jamestown post journal" I have to say,,,i said nothing for fear of being ridiculed,,,,this is not something that i realy belevied in. In all the years since,,,it has bothered me to not know if anyone else had reported this that day. If there is a chance that weather balloons would have been allowed to fly that day i sure wish i knew..so i would not think about the strange siteing. This is the first time i have ever in my life seen anything odd in the sky, i hope its the last.

If you notice, it says that the event occurred on 2-26-97 and was reported on 1-2-97, now if that were true it would be almost as fantastic as what I saw!! :)

Neon green orbs playing in the sky, followed by 3ft white figure on the ground

It was Saturday, October 12, 1996. There was no moon, but the sky was clear and the stars were very bright. My friend “M” and I were watching SNL when my younger brother “B” came racing inside. “Come out now!” he told us. “You’ll see what we’ve been trying to tell you about.” He, my other brother “K,” and their friends had been trying to get me to believe in their accounts of nighttime UFO activity. I was a skeptic and, frankly, thought they were full of crap.

But I followed them outside and down the long front lane (about a quarter-mile on flat farmland) and looked towards the sky. Sure enough, there were three glowing orbs of neon-green light high in the sky, at least 10,000+ feet up. They hung suspended, motionless; but soon began to loop around each other, as if playing. One would drop a few hundred feet straight down, in a matter of a half-second; then zoom in one direction, stop on a dime, and reverse in the other. All the while, the other two orbs would be doing the same thing, only in differing speeds and directions. I swear, it was like they were playing.

Call it what you want. I don’t call it much of anything; but I can’t deny that whatever they were, they weren’t of human origin. Side note: my brother “K,” waiting for us to meet him at the end of the lane, was looking past me and saw a whitish/gray figure, about 3 feet high, run from one field to the other across the portion of lane I had just passed. He and his friend “D,” who’d also been waiting outside for us, were the only ones who saw this.

strange explosion

it was around 9pm i was driving with my boyfriend my newbaby and a friend to his apartment we were pulling into the drive when we saw this huge flash of light through the trees behind the apartment like an explosion all three of us saw it and decided to go and find it being that it seemed to be right behind the trees we drove for about 2 hrs and never found a thing i did see on the news where something had been sighted across the east coast but never found out what it had been something crashed but nothing was found or reported it was a huge explosion!!!

A row of porthole shaped lights hovering at an altitude of approx. 500 feet spanning a distance of about 1 mile.

I saw what Arizona Gov. Fife Symington wintessed, otherwise known as the "Phoenix Lights". It was a row of circular, porthole shaped lights in a perfect, symetrical straight line. The porthole-shaped lights were equal-distant apart. The entire row of these lights spanned an estimated 1 mile across the night sky. The estimated altitude was approx. 500 feet. I was on my way home from work when I spotted this. I was heading east on Baker St. Extension, approx. 2 miles from the city limits of Jamestown, N.Y. These lights were near a radio station tower. The tower is approx. 200 feet high and by comparison, that's how I was able to estimate the altitude of these lights. I did not see the shape or outline of any spacecraft, only the porthole lights. I did not think it was one craft but many in formation. However, after seeing video of the Phoenix Lights, I now know it was one craft. The video of the Phoenix Lights captured EXACTLY what I saw. When this event occurred, I pulled my car over to the side of the highway. I got out of my car and just observed it for about 10 minutes. I got into my car and kept glancing at it as I was driving into the city. I lost sight of it as the city lights flooded out my view of the sky. I checked the local paper the next day to see if this event had been witnessed and reported by anyone else. To my great disappointment, nothing! No mention of it in the newspaper or on the local radio stations. Thank you for accepting my report.

It was silent,this is all true.

I was sitting in my back yard south of town on state rt.72 when it past over my house at about 150feet in the air. It had A small light at each corner. The night was very clear but I could not make out any details of the craft. It was only moving about 10 miles an hour and silent. It went from west to east started to turn left and seem to vanish almost over top of the old Airforce radiar site on Plymouth road.That radiar site had been closed down several years before this happend.

Summary : I was 13-15. I was in my parent house on Moon Rd., Woke up in the middle of the night. Looked out the window. saw a SMALL round object at max three feet. up in the pine trees. houvering. Asked a friend sleeping over to look. She was scared. watched it. It moved a bit. Ran down and woke up parents. By then it was gone. Never reported because it was so small (didn't ever hear of SMALL ones. It had light all around it. It appeared to make no sound. Just saw one. Probably not usable since it was so long ago and no witnesses.

I have a Masters in Admin of Law. Worked as a cop for six years. Now teach high school. Was riding around with a sheriff (you cannot use this) from the next county five years ago and asked if they ever has UFO sightings. He said there were some in the 70's and a couple of officers reported them. They were flown down to Washington. And when they came back they reported NOTHING. My ex partner who worked for a time in West Ellicott, NY, went up to a golf course after reports and found a scorched part. There was a pond nearby and all the fish were floating on top.
