Bright orange light shines down into my bathroom window then disappears.

I was awake in my bathroom, when the room filled up with orange light as i a truck with bright orange lights were backing into my driveway. When I looked out the window I noticed the light was coming from the sky, approx. 45 degree angle from the North horizon. The light was orange, bright and confined to a small area in the sky- a few seconds later is was gone. My bathroom was bright enough from the light that you would be able to read a book.

strange light in the sky

i was driving back from east hampton to nyc, when ahead of me a very shining star got my attention, for a sec i thought i was looking at the north star, since it was very bright and kinda stood alone in the north direction, but then i observed a change in the light intensity of the object, it got brighter a bit, i realized i was not looking at a star , but at a strange light. i got scared so i pulled over, not leaving the light outta my sight at all. it made a very strange move, then suddenly the light dimmed away, just like it reacted to my constant starring,. dissappeared. it wasnt a plane or an helicopter, as there were no clouds or fog, very clear sky for their lights to disappear. plus the light was steady still, so the plane or helicopter is outta the question. it wa sa shooting star, cus the light didnt shoot away in a straight line, but zig zaged very little some left, then to the right.......

Huge spotlight hovering, disappearing cloud/smoke

At the ocean beach in Amagansett NY. 3 people. The object was spotted by one person and brought to attention. The object was the biggest light in the sky I have ever seen (distance was hard to tell but seemed very close). The object did not move in any direction or make any sound and was shinning down in a triangle shape. There was no other light just one big light shinning down. As I told my friend to take a picture the light went out. All that remained was an illuminated cloud/smoke in the shape of the triangle that faded and began to dissipate. As we continued to stare curiously and talk (2-3 minutes after the light went out) 6-8 planes that seemed to me very high and only noticeable by there wing lights seemed to "comb" the sky. What we saw WAS a UFO.

Bright light with a consistent vertical then horizontal movement and then stops and starts all over again.

I have been observing this for a couple of years. At first I thought it was probably a star. It is in the same place every night. It has a distinct vertical movement then a distinct horizontal movement and then stays still and starts all over again. It most probably is circular but the most outstanding feature is that it is very bright.

It may be a satellite also. It would be nice if someone could observe this and let me know what it might be. Thank you.

Saucers over Lake Pocotopaug, Ct. _ Summer of 1956

I was a young boy of six. It was a perfect summer day, and I was with my mother outside the kitchen door of our home. I was with two friends and we were discussing the subject of lunch with my mother.

One of us looked up, pointed, and we all looked up over Lake Pocotopaug, into a cloudless sky. We observed about six silver discs (flying saucers) flying in a loose formation. They were absolutely silent. There were no obstructions in our view of them. It was an amazing sight.

At that age, I was not yet exposed to science fiction, and this was all new to me. The craft floated (for lack of a better word) at a speed of perhaps several hundred miles an hour (relatively slow) towards us, then turned left out of our view.

Afterward we all discussed what we saw, agreed we all saw the same thing, and then my mother, ((name deleted)), told all of us that we should not discuss what we saw. At that age we obeyed, but I never got to query my Mom about the incident before she died. It was such an important event in my life that I have always remembered it.

I am 58 years old today, and I want to submit this report today, before my recollection is forever lost. It also may be substantiated by other viewings.

In respect to the craft themselves, the were saucer like with bubble tops. It's almost embarrassing to report this as modern fiction has capitalized on this vision. The craft were basically silver but with colors of red and blue. I used to know where all the colors of red and blue were, but I have forgotten.

Using my experience at the time, I used to say that the edges of the craft were wavy like the heat coming off a hot summer asphault(sp) road. I now watch on TV theories of gravitation, etc. and see similar results. All I can say is that for my craft, they were solid objects with fuzzy edges.

My good buddy at the time, Michael XXXXX, was with me, and I have no contact with him, nor do I know if he ever made a sighting report.
