Was driving back from Utica after the Metallica show and we noticed a bright white light slowly moving and hovering for a half hour

We were driving back from Utica and Syracuse and saw a bright object hovering at Aircraft level (not a plane or star) object would move slowly and hover, lasted about a half hour around Herkimer New York until it disappeared behind clouds before daybreak

The white light progressed across the sky northwest headed southeast. The light was moving quickly then slowing down, then moving very fast again, then slowing again, not flashing but steady. It did this for about 45 seconds then completely disappeared. We had five witnesses four adults and 1 11 year old child. One of the adult witnesses is an army veteran with combat and aviation experience and have never seen an aircraft move the way this did.

UFO over Herkimer, NY.

My daughter and son was out in the front of our home with the dog and as I was walking from the back of the house to meet her she was telling me about a plane she was watching and asking me if it was a plane or not. I looked up in the sky and saw a golden orange craft slowly flying in the sky, but to the northern part of the sky there was an actual plane flying and I showed her the difference between the two. Then my husband was coming up the driveway to meet us and we showed him what we were watching. Then only a min or two later 2-3 other crafts with the same color glow joined in after the first one stopped and the lights dimmed to look as if it was a faint star off in the distance.

My cell phone is broken and was unable to capture anything but below is basically the shape I remember it forming in the sky before each craft’s lights faded to a very dim light. You would have to have been watching the entire time to see they were still there or would think! was a star in the distance.

The dog was starting to whine for a min or so while we were watching and then we all headed inside kinda freaked out.

We were star watching when we saw a very bright large object moving in very fast movements unlike any airplane.

Up down and left to right. It would stay in one spot for a bit then move fast in a different direction.

It was very bright and a lot bigger than an airplane.

I have never seen anything like this. It left very fast in one direction.

Manilla oval shape orb seen in skies over Central New York

Circle/oval shaped object seen shining bright in the sky on a night in which there were no clouds and only clear skies in the area. Object seen above the horizon line. Very bright in nature, yellow/manilla color and possible red small circle at the bottom of the object. Object simply disappeared after a few moments.

multicoloured unknown shaped aircraft

Hello I'm using a Motorola xoom tablet and on 7/3/12 at approximately 21:11

I was taking somes night pictures of some cool looking clouds and I seen a weird looking aircraft floating in the air over some trees as I was taking the picture out of my apartment window. It looks like a saucer, but when you zoom in the aircraft looks multicolored like gems.

I'm not too sure on the shape, but it kinda looks like the same one at the bottom on this site

orange bright light moving across sky chasing smaller bright white light

My wife and child and I were taking a bike ride going east down a long street. From the north came a bright orange light, maybe a fireball, but I did not notice any flicker or tail. It appeared the light was chasing a much smaller bright white light, which moved in various directions. The little bright light looked like a faint star in the sky but clearly moving. The big orange light seemed to follow but maintained it's overall southern course. I am certain I have never seen a light in the sky like this before. It appeared to go to slow to be a fireball like you see in videos. Clearly faster than a plane though. I am not good with distance, but the orange light was above the clouds and I have no idea how far away the little white light was it may have been at the same altitude as the orange light, but because of it's small size (very small) I could not tell

orange fireball passed stars

I went outside to have a morning cigarette. I looked up at a low horizon star constellation as i have been daily. A orange fireball flew by the stars slowly. I could not tell it's distance, but i believe it was quite far away.

The event took place West of my location (of Herkimer). I watched it for maybe 15-20 seconds and seen a flash. Nothing further to report.

"H" shaped object, green mist all around it, Upstate NY

I was going with my girlfriend to get a late night car wash and I looked up into the clear sky to see the weirdest sight I've ever seen. In the shape of an "H," way in the sky an enormous green mist in the shape of the letter "H," I have never seen anything like it before, it was very high up in the sky and very large space it took up.My girlfriend was very nervous and I ran inside to get her mother and brother and show them, we looked in the sky for quite a while and observed the event, we were all in astonishment and in awe. We live in central New York, so it's not like our eyes were playing a trick on us like the Northern lights or something. I just hope more people saw this it was truly strange.

It was mid -1974 or 1975 , heading west after sunset ( it was dark) , I came up a slight rise & noticed a peculiar steady light quite low ahead of me.

So, I flicked my vehicle lights at the object , it immediately & quickly changed its direction and came right toward my vehicle , at which time I immediately pulled over, watched the cigar shaped unit slowly hover just a little above the treetops just slightly north of where we stopped, as if it were looking down & checking us out .

I was out of the vehicle & I remember what was like 4 spotlights , 1 front, 1 on the back & 2 off the side. It hovered for a short while & then slowly glided east parallel to the road we were on & then crossed over the highway south & dropped westward down into the Mohawk Valley. I remember at least 2 other cars being stopped, however I never spoke w/ anyone, nor did I ever report incident.

The weirdest thing was there was no sound emitting from this aircraft !!

Incident occurred east of the village of Herkimer , N.Y. on State Hwy 5, approximately ½ mile east of the East Herkimer community and slightly east of what is known as Little Falls St. Mary’s cemetary.
