Disc shape UFO sighting over Lake George NY

Saw lights in sky above the mountains to the north of Lake George at about 8:05pm. Lady there said that she saw them show up earlier. Light color fluctuates to different colors of white, yellow, blue, and red. Hovers and doesn’t seem to move. Assumed it to be a safety tower as it did not move for over an hour. Continued to monitor and when we looked back up from all of us chatting it was gone. No one had seen it leave but we were all convinced we had just witnessed a UFO.

Two “women” were walking down the road and two white cubes appeared and took them up into the sky and they disappeared.

2 “women” walking down the street in front of 9 Stone schoolhouse Rd. Two white cubes appeared and took one person up and then the other person up. They both floated up into the sky and disappeared. This was sighted from approx 50 yards by a 10.5 year old girl while walking dog. The dog was also looking at the event when happened. Girl noticed the dog watching and she looked over. Not sure if they were “women” might have been beings.

Red and white light disk shaped

My wife and I were vacationing in Lake George Village on August 19, 2022. We went out at night to wait for a fireworks display planned on the lake. It was dark and very clear this night. I looked north west and could see a bright pulsating disc about 75 to 100 feet wide hovering stationary over a rock mountain that is uninhabited and very difficult to get to. When viewed through my binoculars the lights appeared stationary. Without binoculars it appeared the lights were moving in a circle on the outside of the disk in opposite directions. My wife also witnessed this along with about 4 other people that we did not know passing by. This lasted about 30 mins before it just dissapeared. I am a US Coast Guard Captain of 7 years and have never seen anything like this l, nor can I explain it. I felt the need to report this.

3 red lights in sky just off shore over lake george, lake george village ny lasting 5 minutes before disappearing

Walking north on rt 9 heading back to our motel just past Shepard Park we saw 3 red lights appear in the sky over the water at first in an angular line but then they shifted into a triangular pattern. As we watched the lights just disappeared.

A man and his wife who were walking in front of my daughter and I turned to us and asked if we saw the lights and the fact that they all disappeared at once.

I thought it was drone, but the light was too big and too far away for a drone.

I was in Lake George, NY, for bike week and on June 5th. Approximately 2130, my two friends and I were sitting in a park waiting for the fireworks to begin. I looked to the north and saw a redish/orange light all of a sudden that wasn’t there a few minutes ago. I watched the light as it moved very slowly across the sky. Then all of a sudden the movements became very rapid and started moving up and down and all around ….then it just stopped.

I asked my two friends next to me if they see it and they had also noticed it. We watched for a few more minutes and then is slowly sank behind the trees in the horizon.

About 10-15 to fifteen minutes later it reappeared to the south of us….many many miles from where it was originally seen. It seemed to hover and then move slowly and then it sped up and stopped. It stayed there until the fireworks began and then seemed to mover directly over-head of them.

It stayed there and seemed to “watch” what was going on until the fireworks ending and just disappeared by seemingly moving higher up in the sky until it just disappeared It never came back.

Orange /red object in the sky.

My wife and I went for our usual coffee run up to Lake George in our car and I was driving we were heading north up Canada street when I noticed a orange/red glow in the sky I said to my wife (look someone is camping on the mountain with a camp fire) than we both realized that it was moving, we turned left by the school and stopped in the road and watched as it went over Lake George village, we were worried that it was a airplane with engine trouble, so we went right to warren county airport but it was all quiet, we went home called the warren county sheriff the officer said it was most likely a Chinese kite with a candle, NO WAY it went all the way across the sky from over the mountain from the north west to the south east in a controlled flight in a general heading to the airport.

String of white twinkling Christmas lights.

At 10:03 p.m. myself, a former law enforcement agent, and my boyfriend, a high school teacher, observed a string of lights in the sky from the Assembly Point peninsula. The lights looked like a string of white Christmas lights that were twinkling brightly and then dimmed while gaining more distance upward. They seemed close at first, and we thought they were remnants of fireworks we heard earlier, but they continued traveling and dimming with distance.

I tried to get my telescope to focus in on them, but couldn't in time.

The sighting lasted between 7-10 minutes.

i was driving norht bound on the nys northway,i came over a hill into a valley where just west of the north way i oberved 2 aircraft in the air,running north to south, there were no navigation lights,and i rolled down my window to hear chopper thump, nothing,..........the lower forward one was about 700 ft in the air,the other trailed behind maybe 100 yds and 150 ft above it, there were no wings, no noise, no rotors, there color was that of a sodium vapor orange lightbulb, like a streetlight,but seemed to have a molton gold in with it

Reddish orange light in the sky over Lake George.

A little after 9pm on August 4th, we were walking up (north) Canada Street in Lake George Village, when my wife saw a strange orange object in the sky. We were with another couple and they stopped and looked as well. I had seen it move slightly south, it was in the eastern sky and I would estimate that it was over the lake and below cloud level, though it was a mostly cloudless night. It then appeared to stay in one spot. It was definitely orange/orange reddish, and it appear to me to be flickering or pulsating. I was waiting for it to move. At first I thought it was a possible firework or something, then perhaps a plane. But when it wasn’t moving, I knew it wasn’t a plane. Then it looked as if it was rising as it was getting smaller, than disappeared. The whole episode last for roughly 3 minutes.

As we were watching, another group stopped and looked and observed for a minute with one guy commenting it was a UFO.

I also have a picture of the object that I emailed to Peter Davenport.

Reddish-Orange Sphere over Lake George Village NY

Approximately 9:05pm on August 4th, I was walking North on Canada Street in Lake George Village, when I saw a strange Reddish-Orange object in the sky. I was with my wife & another couple and they stopped and looked as well. I had seen it move slightly south. It was in the east-northeastern sky approximately at mid-upper flight level. It then appeared to almost stop in one spot. I then proceeded to take a picture of it through my high zoom camera.

Shortly after I took the shot, it then began to fade in the spot it was in and within seconds vanished.

Extremely shiny object seen making strange manuevers in a cloudless afternoon sky.

I am a taxi driver of 11 years. I was driving southbound on interstate 87. It was a sunny late afternoon, with not a cloud in the sky. I looked up at the sky and saw the moon was out early. To the right side of the moon, about an inch away from it, (estimated distance using an intelligent guess) far off in the distance was an extremely shiny, cigar-shaped object.

The object was much too far away to get a clear look at any distinguishing features. But the object was intensely reflective as if it was made of polished steel. There did not appear to be any light eminating from the object, and there was no sign of a trail in the sky as if it was a plane.

I noticed that the object was moving at a rapid rate of speed, considering the distance from me. Then it moved up, across, and back down. I tried to keep an eye on it, but it disappeared from sight. I continued to scan the cloudless sky as I made my way down the highway, but I could no longer see the object anywhere.

I have on video a bright light above French Mountain that hovered for several minutes of which I have few minutes on video. The bright light dimmed and as clear as can be is a shape of a UFO. Not a saucer shape that I have seen on tv, but a shape that I can only describe as an ornate Christmas ornament. On the video you can see the UFO vanish, it doesn't go behind trees or drops below the mountain top, but vanishes like it takes off straight away. I have showed the video to my wife and friends and they agree its a UFO. When I spotted the bright light I called my friend across the street to look out his window and he watched it too although he did not video it.

Hovering object over Lake George defies logic

Looking up over the top of Pilot Knob while on a leaf peeping boat cruise we observed a shiny thin rectangle shaped craft hovering stationary. We stopped the boat to look at it as the lack of movement caught our eye. As we watched, it drifted to our left then faded away, they sky was clear blue without a cloud in the sky so it really puzzled us as to where it went.... we resumed the cruise with one eye on the sky when it appeared again over the mountain top, this time a little closer, again hovering stationary.

after a few minutes it drifted to the right and once again faded away, disappeared.

what was really odd was the shape, like looking at a plane from the side without wings. Just a silver "rectangle" very narrow though, no contrails, no noise, nothing.

the way it "hung" in the air with no wobble or any visual monement except for when it drifted to the side before just fading away in thin air. There was no way this was a conventional aircraft. All four of us agreed that this was going to be hard to explain.

Bright lights that changed color seen on ground with corresponding area power surge.

My husband and I, both in our late 30's, were awakened by a power surge in our home. The computer turned on, the radio turned on etc. We live on the top of a mountain so we have a good view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. In the valley adjacent tour home the sky was bright white, after a minute or 2, there was a green light glowing from the ground, that lasted about a minute, then the light turned orange. At that point I ran to the telephone to call the police. When I returned to my bedroom, the colored lights were gone. After a couple of minutes it looked as if a car had come to investigate. We saw the headlights of the car aimed at the spot where the occurrence had taken place. We went to sleep quite agitated, but thought possibly it was some sort of accident that occurred. This morning I contacted the local police, and local fire departments, they had no reports of an accident. I have asked others around town if they knew of what may have happened. One other man that I spoke with said that he also saw bright lights last night.

Small points of light moving randomly

While vacationing at Lake George, NY about 10 years ago, a small group of friends and I went for a walk by the lake around 3:00 AM. It was a very clear, star-lit night, and we were all clear-headed (none of us use alcohol or drugs). Over the space of an hour or so, we observed one or more single points of white light, about the same size and brightness as a dim star or a man-made satelite, moving randomly in a small area of the sky, almost directly overhead, high above the earth. I would have guessed that they were man-made satelites, but they didn't travel in a continuous straight line across the sky, and they moved slower than satelites. I would also have guessed that they were extremely high-flying aircraft, but their movements were not like aircraft--they would move slowly in a straight line for a while, then make turns that were too sudden for an aircraft, sometimes at angles close to 90 degrees. I don't recall seeing more than one in motion at a time. If we stared at the area of the sky in which these objects were appearing, it would appear as though one of the stars would begin to move, and then for the next several minues, we would watch it move randomly as I described above. I never reported this, but I talk about it with my friends from time to time. We ask one another, as we did that night, "Did I really see that?" and the answer is, "Yes."
