U shaped saucer with lights around entire perimeter. It was pretty big but really quiet.

I was driving home when I saw it off in the distance. I turned around because it looked odd. The craft seemed to move slowly and quietly. It made a U turn heading towards the street I was on then a u turn back down the street to the small patch of trees. When I looked to see if it was still there it had become so far away and just disappeared. The lights were flashing red and white and possibly green. But it was dark and I was in the car. It looked like it wasn't too high up but how low I'm not sure. I'll include a sketch and a similar photo I found online. I cannot draw to save my life but the photo looks pretty similar. Lights were bigger and closer together. There was a shadow, faint shadow of a dome. Definitely bigger than my SUV. I checked the flight radar ap and my satellite tracker. I didn't see anything close to my location.

Me, my wife, and a friend saw a strange, cloud-like ring in the night sky

Was on my deck, watching tv. My wife came upstairs and said there's something strange in the sky. Upon looking at the area where she directed me, I saw what appeared to be a cloud with a spotlight hitting it. However, there were no clouds in the sky, and the object was slowly moving north-south. It stayed in what seemed to be a straight line.

More details about the object in question: There appeared to be a small, hazy light in the center with a cloud-like ring surrounding it. The ring was vertical in the sky. Seemed to be slightly luminescent, although the moon was bright and may have been reflecting against it. As we watched, a faint, second ring seemed to form around it. We watched it until it went behind some trees and we could no longer see it.

Fuzzy point of white/yellow light traveling silently & slowly south, developing circular / spiraling halos

I had just finished dropping off a key at my parent's house and was walking back to the apartment my husband and I share. The moon was starting to peek through the trees from the south, and I gazed up at the stars, noticing that it was a clear night. I looked north north-east and saw a fuzzy point above the trees and initially thought it was a small plane, but there was no sound, and no blinking lights.

I watched it slowly move south, and as it moved it appeared to develop halos - at first they appeared to be moving in a very slight counter-clockwise rotation. Never complete, but fading imperceptibly so as to never show a full spiral halo. It was at this point that I tried to grab a photo using my cell phone, knowing that it would likely not turn out. I grabbed 2 shots. I found it odd that the halo was building and that it was still moving south without noise or distinct airplane lights.

I ran to tell my husband and a friend of his who were already outside on our deck. They both looked out and by this time it had grown even more. We ran down the steps to get a better vantage point. I had grabbed my DSLR (Nikon D200) with my Nikkor AF-S 70-300 mm lens to see if I could get some long exposure images on the fly.

As soon as we were in the driveway I tried a long exposure shot. Moved to what I thought was a more stable place and grabbed a second shot. The third was the last attempt as by this time it had begun to move behind the tree line. Of these three long exposure shots the first turned out the best. The halo had grown quite a bit from start to finish. When it started it was a small, white/yellow fuzzy spot, before it went out of view it had a fuzzy center and a few vertical mostly-complete halos .

I am a website admin / project manager with a degree in environmental biology and have several hobbies, one being stargazing with some astrophotography using my 8-inch Dobsonian telescope. I have seen Venus, Jupiter and its moons, the recent NEOWISE comet, the moon in detail and various meteor showers. I've tracked planes with my telescope (sadly did not have the time to pull it out to see this thing), the ISS, and other satellites. I'm familiar with the normal aircraft that are typically flying in the area as well. This was unlike anything I've seen in the sky thus far.

Flying in a straight line evenly spaced. Move south East direction about 15 to 20 objects. Could not tell shape looked like a star. For approximately 20 mins. Second group of the same objects moving south for approximately 10-15 minutes. The last object in the second line appeared to break off and head north until out of sight .the two lines of objects appeared to reach a spot in the sky and disappear.

Bright star circle object appered 3 times

Dusk time of day, blue sky with clouds. Bright Light Like Star in sky west of Lockport. Jet flying at high altitude with vapor trail to its left. There for 20 sec. Disappeared. Re-appeared 2 seconds, then shot straight across sky then disappeared in cloud. Then re-appeared closer, traveled in sky east slow speed.

Could make out object was round. Bright white light on bottom like bright star. Then shot back into clouds.

Observers are retired and present Law Enforcement Officers.

Two circular disk shaped crafts hovered closer and closer to the ground, pulsating red and white lights.

My two close friends and I were going for a drive, when we suddenly spotted two bright red lighted disk shaped, crafts. We actually had thought that it was apart of the light tower, but they had looked too big to be apart of it.

As we approached closer in my friends car, they suddenly hovered down a little bit farther north. The two crafts were also pulsating between red and white lights.

We parked on the side of the road and watched for about 10 minutes. They were hovering over the ground and almost circling around each other. One of the crafts hovered down into the trees and I could not see it any longer.

That is when we drove off, shocked as ever. I have never seen anything like it.

Blue and red steady object

As I drove off I-355, I noticed a blue and red steady light in the sky going pretty fast forward then backwards.

I turned around to check it out and took a video. In the video the lights turn off and then on and zips around in every direction.

While taking a second video, I was watching my screen when I couldn't find it, I looked out of my windshield to find it hovering in one spot, facing me and then flashed its lights. I saw three red dots in the form of a triangle on the bottom and blue around the outside.

I was so physically shaken, I had to leave.

Never saw anything like this before.

Saw 6 red round objects high in the sky floating from west to east about 10:30PM 7/5/14

On Saturday July 5th, about 10:30 PM, my son-in-law, and my three grandsons, were sitting at a fire in my back yard. My son-in-law took his boys into the house to go to bed.

Neighbors just finished shooting off fireworks, which lit up the sky with their various colors.

I am now gazing into the clear sky, enjoying the beautiful heavens filled with the many stars and their multiple configurations they made.

The front of my house faces west, so I am in the back of the house which faces east. So I notice this one red round object floating over my house, traveling from west to east. I notice about 15 seconds later another red object again floating over my house.

So now I am fully involved watching these two red objects and about another 15 seconds, another red object traveling west to east.

As I continue to take this in I notice a fourth red object about 15 seconds behind the first three.

All four objects are moving at a slow speed, high up in the sky from west to east. Then about 25 seconds or so, I see a 5th red object spaced a little farther apart than the first four. Then about 15 seconds later I notice a 6th red object moving over my hours from west to east.

So as I am watching these 6 red objects float overhead, all are red & round and moving in a straight line from west to east. There is no noise like the sound of a plane coming from these 6 red round objects.

Then my son-in-law came back out to sit with me at the fire and I point out to him the red round objects that have now passed us and he saw the last three red objects traveling east.

What was strange was that all six objects were red coming at me, passing by me, and then looking at them from behind were all red!

We saw a bright orange glowing orb, similar to fire, fly overhead and out of site in about 90 seconds.

A similar occurrence happened last year, 7/29/13, involving two identical objects which were exact matches to this evening's sighting. Last year I thought they may have been Hot Air Balloons.

They seemed to travel too fast o be Hot Air Balloons.

Bright, white light in Buffalo sky.

I was outside my house on the patio having a cigarette and noticed that there was no moon in the sky so I could see many more stars in the night sky than usual.

While observing the stars, I noticed a bright light in the SW part of the sky moving. I first thought it was a typical airplane or helicopter, but there weren't any red/green lights or any sound.

Then I thought it may be a meteor, but it was moving way to slow. While it was travelling roughly the same speed as a typical aircraft, I knew that it couldn't be one. (Growing up in the area near the Buffalo/Niagara airport, I am very aware of all the aircraft coming in and out of the airspace in the area)

This was no typical aircraft. The light moved from the WSW to ENE night sky for about 3 mins before it simply vanished.

Very strange.

Single fireball hovering in Lockport at the Niagara County/Erie County border.

First noticed the fireball while traveling south at Ohio St and the Lockport Bypass. It was hovering in the south west sky around the Niagara County and Erie County border in Lockport.

I traveled south onto Bear Ridge Rd and turned off at Fisk Rd, once I got to Transit Rd and headed south it was gone.

I know it wasn't a plane because soon after it disappeared a plane was making its rounds towards the Buffalo airport, which is a sight I am familiar with every morning.

five UFO's went past the three of us

2012 Oct 18 - 7:28pm - Three of us were standing (facing west) in front of St.Dennis Church having a cigarette. (1214 Hamilton, Lockport, IL) We see an orange light coming from the south heading north. It appeared from behind a tree line. It was about 40d above the horizon. It looked like a ball of slowly pulsating orange light. No blinking or flashing lights on it. It's speed was like that of a regular jet. - About two seconds later a second orange orb appears from behind the tree line and follows the same path heading north as the first one. It's speed and color were the same as the first one. - About three or four seconds later, a third light appears out of the same spot and was heading in the same direction. This third one seemed to stop briefly and then continued north. My friend took a movie of it with his cell phone. - About 4 or 5 seconds later, a fourth orb appears from the same spot and heads north. I took a pic with my crappy cell phone camera. - ! About ten seconds after that, a fifth orange orb appears. It appeared from the same spot, heading north, traveling at the same speed as the others. This 5th orb suddenly doubles or triples it's speed. It shoots across the sky and catches up to the fourth orb. This fifth orb then abruptly slows down to the speed that the others seemed to be traveling at. - All five orbs were the same color; they all pulsated the same way; and they were completely silent. - My cell camera pic was of the fourth orb. This pic shows that the fourth orb was made up of four smaller orbs - a white orb followed by an orange orb followed by a yellowish gold orb followed by an orange orb. My eyes did NOT see these smaller four orbs - I only saw a larger orange orb. Additional Facts: - Practically every day the skies above lockport are filled with chemtrails that stretch from horizon to horizon and some times the chemtrails form a grid pattern in the sky. - The unmarked black helicopters are frequently! seen flying above us. - Lockport is located near the D.O.E.'s! Argonne National Labs and FermiLab. - Unmanned drone airplanes have been seen in this area as well.

5 red/orange ovals traveling SW to NE in a straight line , spaced equally apart.

Event occurred around 7:45 pm.

Weather conditions at the time were very cloudy, overcast with light drizzle. No visible stars or moon. Typical aircraft would be hard to see under these conditions however these were not typical.

The object were traveling from the southwest towards the northeast.

There were 5 total and they appeared to be distanced apart equally as they emerged over my place of employment and traveled in a straight line.

There was no sound, they appeared to be oval in shape, they transitioned from red to orange.

Since there is a treeline behind my work place I was unable to determine if they faded away.

These objects were also not traveling very fast for something I would consider a typical aircraft. Less then 90mph I would say but of course this is a guess from the ground.

Also they were below the overcast cloud line and I only say that because of how clearly visible they were.

Now the strange thing about this event is that there was a sighting yesterday 10/17/12 around dusk in an adjacent city...however there were 4 objects, oval, bright, orangey yellow in color also. A coworkers cousin snapped a photo of that sighting and showed it to me stunned after I told her what I just had witnessed. There were also about 6-7 people that needed their vehicles jump started today that we knew of. The 10:00 o clock news had reported meteor showers but had mentioned the conditions were poor to view and the Chicagoland area was not in the best viewing zone anyways.

Fireballs with cylinder top heading west to east above lockport NY at 21:30 on 9/21/12

Seen what at first I thought was a plane on fire in the sky traveling west to east. I pulled over to get a better look and to watch it as it was still traveling east. As it got closer it appeared to have a see thru cylinder above the fireball, which made me think that it could be one of those big ballons. It finally passed over me, I did not see no basket or the ballon part. My son and his girl friend were waiting for me to pick them up at the Palace Theater. I was just seconds from there and when I arrived, he started to get in and I asked him to look up at it since it was slightly passed but overhead. He also said that it looked like it was on fire. I told him to keep an eye on it while I was trying to get to a more rural setting so I could park and see it better. He then informed me that it went into the clouds and all sight was lost. Rain had been predicted for Friday nite into Saturday so there were alot of clouds.I don't know if his girlfriend seen it.! It is now 16:28 9/22/12 I read the Buffalo News and no one report anything that may be able to explain what I seen. I can't believe that only me and my son this object, at the very least hundreds of people should have seen this object and someone would have reported it to the police or newspaper

yellow/orange lights moving south of lockport.

Driving on Rt. 93 we noticed 10 bright orange/yellow lights in the sky south west of our position. They were much brighter than surrounding stars and seemed to be in formation with 2 in a line followed by a triangle of 3 then 2 more and another triangle of 3.

We pulled over and exited vehicle and observed them for about 2 more minutes. They were traveling slowly in an easterly direction. There was no sound from the objects. We could not observe any shape but they appeared to be too far apart to be from a single source.

After viewing for approx. 2 minutes they seemed to fade one at a time until they were no longer visible. There was a commercial jet making a landing at the time of the sighting.

Witnesses were 54 year old male and 43 year old female.

One the bike ride home from the store 2 blocks from my house i seen a firey orangish object flying above my neighborhood. I seemed to be moving steadily in a slanted angle. I knew it wasnt a plane or helicopter from its possition and silence and its range. From its behovioral movements it couldnt possibly be a meteriot.and after staring at it for a while its slowly ascended and drifted off until i was a small as a star in the sky unil it disappeared

As I was traveling west bound on 147th st. in lockport, il. Sitting in the passenger seat I noticed a flame like object hovering over an empty field. As my friend and I made the left turn onto gougar rd. the flame became more visible, as we got to an opening in the trees we parked our vehicle to observe the object. Now our position was right in between 151st and 147st on gougar road. During this time our vehicle was facing south and we were observing the object to the west of us. To the west of us is the I-355 extension and the object was across the highway about a quarter mile. When we first parked our car the object still had a flame shooting out the top of it. At first it had seemed as if the refinery flame was lit. But this was not the refinery. The flame began to diminish and a very dimly lit spotlight appeard at the base if the object, at this point the shape of the object was unclear. Everything up to this point happened in the first five minutes. Now things get a little frightening, the spotlight on the craft had dissapeared and a bright green light turned on. We were about 3/4 of a mile away from the object when it started to approach us, the green light was still on and the craft was approaching the highway heading east. I couldnt believe my eyes as I saw this spherical shaped aircraft with six tentacle like legs under its body. The craft was getting closer and now I can resemble the lights, there was one single light bar across the center of its body consisting of 1 green light on the right side (the brightest one) a white light next to that light, then three red lights that flickered as if they were being manipulated manually, they did not seem to have a set pattern and finally a dimmer green light on the left of the arrangment. These light features were extruded from the front of the body of the vehicle, the aircraft was now about fifty feet over our heads silently hovering over. Our car was off and not one noise! came from the aircraft. As it passed over us we lost sight panicked and left.

Triangular Object

I was taking my dog out for the night and it was very clear out. I noticed what I thought were plane lights untinl I saw a beam of green light come from it and it was not moving. I came in the house and told my mom and son to come outside. My sister called and I told her about it and she came over and we watched it for a good 45min and I watched it my self about 45 min. We looked through binoculars and could see differnt colored lights on it. After we watched for awhile we notice 3 more. The one we were watching started moving out towards the Cresthill Joliet area. My son and I decided to go and seen where it was going. We whent down rt.53 to Division St. and we could see this very very bright light. We crossed over Weber Rd. the closer we got to it the brighter the light got it was almost blinding. We crossed over Gaylord Rd. and we were by a warehouse, I turned down the street and stopped so we could see this thing. My son and I could see the bottom of ! it it hovered above us. It ws triangle shaped it had red large circulat lights on the botom and you could see all of these colored lights around it. I have never seen any thing like it in my life, I also had the window down so I could get a picture of it and I also did not hear any sound from it. As quickly as I took the picture it took off. I have seen more of them around here for the last several days and I did take a video and some pictures.

Bright Lights in SW suburbs of Chicago

Saw a bright large light up in the sky, then it appeared to be 2 other lights (looked like normal airline flashing lights) near it at first.

After watching it for a little while there appeared to be 5 or 6 of the "airplanes" around it. All with flashing red & white lights. Bright large light disappeared and reappeared about 2 miles away towards Mokena/New Lenox area.

When I stopped to look into the sky again I saw the flashing what looked like airplanes all over the sky.

When one appeared to be close to the ground, I stopped to see if I could hear anything and it passed overhead without any noise.

I saw 3 Strobe like objects moving very fast.

It was September 6th on a Sunday and we had a nice campfire going for a while. I was looking at the stars because where I was there is not too much light pollution as to where I live at my moms. So when I was looking at the stars I noticed 3 strobe like lights heading in a pattern. 3 were flying together and kept going around the sky twice.

after that they disappeared and they no longer were there the rest of the night.

I have no idea where they went either, I didn't see them fly off or nothing and it was a cloudless night too. It's a shame I did not have my camera, I also might add that 9/4/09 I saw an object in the daytime on a cloudless day it looked like a saucer and it was metallic looking but it was far away and I could not see it fully.

We were in the car at the time when we just pulled in the drive way but when I tried to get a better view of it and show my Dad and my brother it was gone.

Enormous, large shaped disc craft with bright yellow lights in center/slow moving but also quick moving.

ON 7/20/2007 between 10:00 Pm and 10:15 PM I went out to the local Jewel store to get a pack of cigarettes. As I was driving home approx 1/4 of a mile to my house, I saw an enormous disc shaped craft in the sky to my left. If you saw seven to ten low flying airplanes side by side I would quess that to be the size of it. It appeared to be a very large dark disc shape with bright yellow lights in the center, the lights were so bright they looked like large flourecent bulbs in the center. I also saw some small blue and grey lights which appeared to be on each end of it.It made no noise as you would expect a large craft would make. As I was driving, I remember at least one other vehicle coming from the east I began to yell and flash my lights to try and get his attention, because I did not want to be the only one seeing this. As he passed me by I saw the object moving quickly to the south west. I pulled into my home driveway as it was quickly moving to the west, I saw my fathers car who lives next door pulling in front of my garage. I jumped out of the car to try and get my wife to come and see this, as I got out of my car my father said what the hell was that! I said did you see that! as I was running to the door to get my wife. By the time she came out the craft was far to the west and moving south. My wife only caught a glimpse in the distance, and said oh maybe it was a blimp. I said I can still see it, and we grabbed our dogs and jumped in the car and drove to the south west and it was nowhere in sight. But to recap my visual experience, this craft was hovering to my left in the sky to my west. A extremely large disc shaped craft with bright yellow lights in the center and lights on what appeared to be each end of the craft blue and gray. Making no noise, by eye it was very close to me yet it was still high enough in the sky to not make an accurate judgement of the size. Big enough to cause me to be in awe and writing this letter. Although, it appeared to be hovering moving slow it th! en moved so quickly that within 2 minutes or so it was completely out of site. The disc itself appeared to be a dark grey color, however it was night so it looked black or grey. If you saw a low flying plane in the sky, this would have been at least ten planes as I mentioned it was HUGE! I dont know what these crafts are military or something else but Im now a believer! 30 Miles south of Chicago it was here!

Multicolored large, bright object in Southeast sky over Lockport Illinois.

There was a object hovering in the Southeast sky on Monday Dec 19 2005 over Lockport IL.

It was higher then an airplane but lower then stars. It was quite large in relation to stars or planes. It flashed blue, green, and white.

On the zoom lense of my video camera it looked like a ball of energy--with a center core of white light. (Like the toy they sell at the mall--the sphere where if you put your hand on it all of the light goes to your fingers).

We have hours of video tape and could not stop watching this mystery.

That night we also saw several red pin sized dots all over the sky.

We called the police and they could not explain what it was.

I would like to know what this is!

Wierd moving lights in the sky

I was driving home and noticed some lights in the sky, I see alot of planes near my house and these lights caught my attention because i never say so many on a plane before. At first I thought it was because it was turning and I was able to see all the lights at once, but it still seemed very different. It also was just sitting there and was not moving, so I just keeped looking and wondering what it was. Then it moves vertically very fast like nothing i have ever seen, then it slowed down and went under the tree line, and I know a plane could not go that low so i dont know what happened. After I just keeped thinking about it and I could not explaine what i just saw.

Lockport, NY Sighting. Hovering object pulsating and emitting different colors.

4:45 AM Friday Morning.

I was up late, working at the computer. I went to the window and opened it to get a breath of fresh air. I was shocked to see in the distance a hovering light, that was pulsating colors. It looked like somebody took a flaslight and shut it off and on repeatedly, but very quickly. I saw white, the mail color with different hues of color such as red and yellow. I watched this for about 7 minutes. The Light did not move at all, it seemed to be perfectly stationary. I would of expected some movementin a 7 minute time frame. Near the end of this event, the light became very bright and them dimmed out with a reddish hue. Then it simply vanished, sorta "winking" out.

Based on the description by the witness, we wonder whether the light might have been the landing light on an approaching airliner, or perhaps a celestial body, which became obscured by high-level overcast. Just a surmise on our part. PD

Low in the eastern sky over a farming area I spotted a ball of bright light, every once in a while it seemed a ring of color would move around the the lower part of the object but it was too bright to tell any color. It was not moving and seemed to be at the same distance the whole time. At one point it turned into a bright orange ball the same size as the bight ball of light. Then a few minutes later back to the bright ball of light. I watched for about 25 minutes altogether. Finally it turned back into the orange ball and quickly got smaller and smaller until it disappeared about 15 seconds later. Someone told me that the faster it goes from large to small is the rate of speed it is traveling at. I know for sure now that there is something out there.

3 lights chasing or following each other. Speeding up, slowing down, turning 90 degrees in an instant.

We were coming home from a drive-in around 23:30 and there were alot of stars in the sky. I was 8 years old at the time but this has always stuck with me. I got out of the car and looked up at the stars when I noticed 1 light shooting across the sky from east to west very quickly then 2 other ones came up behind it like they were following the first. Back then I thought they were maybe playing tag. I asked my mom and dad what that was and they looked in awe then said probably a shooting star. But they kept watching. The first one slowed down made a sharp 90 degree turn very quickly to the south for about 1 or 2 seconds then made another 90 degree turn very quickly to the west. The other 2 lights chasing it did exactly the same thing. Like making the exact same movements as the first one by slowing down, speeding up and making the very sharp and quick turns. When all 3 were going west again they sped up and disappeared. Like someone shut off their light. They just had 1 bright light. I think this sighting stayed with me all these years because of how my parents just froze when they were watching them.
