Oval circle glowing lights in the sky over Lake Ontario

I was attending a sailing regatta on Lake Ontario. We witnessed glowing ovals up in the sky over Lake Ontario about 20 miles west of Rochester, NY. We actually saw them two times. Once on the evening of Sat. Aug 4 around 10:30pm. There were about 4 of them, about 30 to 50 degrees in the sky. They were orangish and it wasn't the moon, aircraft or other lights, balloons, stars or anything. They were the size of your pinky fingernail if you held your hand out as far as you could from your face. They didn't move a lot, they didn't move with the wind direction, the wind was strong that weekend. After about 20 minutes the lights just disappeared.

The second time we saw them was at 4am on Sunday Aug. 5. My wife woke me up at 4am and we saw 3 or 4 more of them. She was spooked about them, we both thought they were very strange. I had my camera with me and I took a picture, it was completly dark out and the image quality is average for that time of night. ! I'll email you a copy of the picture. A few other of our friends saw the lights as well. We can't explain what we saw, I have never seen anything like it before.

Numerous lights traveling at high altitude in the same direction and at the same speed.

As I looked up into the sky I witnessed a number of lights at a very high altitude traveling from east to west. The lights were not in any distinctive formation but spread across the sky in groups from one to four all traveling at the same speed. The lights were not close to each other considering the high altitude. The lights filled my field of view and were noticeable wherever I turned my head to look. Higher than jet airliners usually fly over. There were no sound or “wing tip” lights visible. I went into the house to grab some binoculars and returned to find more lights still passing overhead. They were ten power binoculars, but it was like trying to focus on a star. No shape was distinguishable, just light.

its was very late at night i say this light that was orange- yellow in the sky when i got out of my car to look i just stood there staring up at the light as it got brighter and started to light up the clouds behind it. the weirdest thing is it would get really dark and cold as the light got brighter and then seem to fade out. and then it would move around to the left and to the right and then back to were it started from. then fade out again then there were 2 of them that would do the same thing getting brighter and fade to a dim light and move around. every time that it would get really bright more would appear there were four of them that would move closer to the land the weird thing is that it did not move alike a air craft or stay in the same place as long as they did they were like the size of marbles in the sky lighting up the water, and right before i left it was like the light were going down in to the water and then waves would get really rough an! d then calm as could be. it was like looking in to head lights off a car but it would not blind your eyes

Has anyone along the Lake Ontario USA side aprox. Hamlin NY -also seen several times Amber Strange Lights spinning at night???

To Whom it may concern: 03/24/08 Myself and my fiancé` have had another in a series of amber lights show up out of nowhere and no specific pattern of time or duration out at least 3 miles minimum.

They sometimes seem above the noticeable water level, at least approximately several hundred feet, In Lake Ontario due North from approximately Hamlin State Park, NY.

They appear through 2 sets of different binoculars to be of a spinning and glowing-pulsating nature.

I am not a hoaxer and never would be considered abnormal or bizarre. I feel it is my/ our duty to report these now being at least the 7th time since last fall at odd times of night, they also have darted upward out of sight and 1 time seemingly into the water downward.

We did witness 1 other time 1 then 2 and 3 all appear and form a triangle all the same kind of amber objects for only about 3-5 minutes and then all of a sudden they were interrupted by a bright very fast blue orb that shot down from the high stratosphere from dues S. West--like a shooting star at the 3 objects and then they all took off very fast in 3 opposite directions.

Something is going on that is NOT of the ordinary and if it is something from the military –AKA – US AIR force based out of Niagara Falls, NY they surely would not admit to that. But at the speeds and they way they seem fixed for minutes is not that likely.

We believe there is much more here than we can figure out, thus that is why my best friend thought we should report finally to your site.

I hope you can get it checked out somehow and make some others aware in our area/ region being a lower population here.

alien Being sighted in Hamlin, NY

I was walking home from a friends house in Huntington Park in Hamlin, NY. On my way home i saw something running in zig-zags from one side of the road to the other at unhuman speeds. After that it was gone, the next year in school in my photo class me and my friend got to talking about aliens and such and he told me a pretty terrifying story. Well he used to live in Huntington Park and there are fields throughout the park where there are playgrounds and such. Him and one of his friends saw lights flashing in the sky and heard a siren sounds(similar to police). They were shooting fireworks towards the lights in the sky, all of a sudden they look up and saw this thing standing about 60 yards or so from where they were. He said it had long straggly hair, long fingers, and long arms. All of a sudden it started running towards them with it's arms going in a circular motion and ran the 60 yards in about 3 secs. As soon as they saw it start running they ran into my friends house locked the front door(doorknob and padlock)and their garage where the main door was connected to. They then ran into his bedroom but forgot to shut the door, they were scarred to death, they then argued to who was going to shut the bedroom door he lost and got up to shut it. He then heard all the locks coming undone extremely fast, then the door opened heard it walk into the house. Then heard something glass breaking, and heard the door slam. He shut the door and they stayed awake all night. In the morning his mom asked him why was there a broken bowl in the kitchen, he told her it wasn't them but didn't bother telling her the story because she wouldn't have believed them. i saw a ufo

Around 1:00am my two friends and i were sitting by the lake and noticed what appeared to be a moving star coming directly from the south. As it came directly overhead, the light became extremely bright as if it was shining down to us. The object was moving from south to north and was silent. After shining on us for about a minute, it stopped shining as bright. It continued moving north until it zigzagged and disappeared, disproving any theory that it was a satilite. We were so psyched that we began flashing a flashlight at the sky and turning it on and off. Another one appeared at approx. 1:15 zig zagged aroung the flashlight and disappeared. Few minutes after the encounter, a helicopter was heard to the northeast.

I was fairly young, probably around 10 or 11. I live in a housing complex per say, about 21 houses. There was a hill behind this which was all farmland besides a patch of woods.

I was walking home from a friends house and heard a sound. It sounded like a foghorn but like whirling sound. I was confused because I didn't know what it could be so i went to see what it was and looked around for about 5 mins. I could not see anything, I was following the sound but could not hear where it was coming from it was like it was coming from every direction.
