Bright white orbs, appearing from ground and going upwards

My fiance and I were driving along a field when we noticed a bright light coming from the ground towards the sky in the distance. We pulled over and watched 1-7 orbs fading in and out. They would often appear near the ground, and move upwards. They formed lines and triangles, and moved together.

Eventually something that could have been a plane flew towards the object, stopped, and flew backwards, leaving in the distance.

I saw large red flashing lights in the sky heading away from me at a slow rate of speed.I pulled my tuck over and watched it slowly go away from me with a slight turn to the left. Whatever it was it was large Much bigger than I would expect from a plane and the flashing red lights were large also. I could not tell the shape as it was going straight away from me but there was a row of flashing red lights with at least 1 that seemed more out front. I would like to know if anything like this has been reported.

Single light [which I thought was a satellite] passing west of Altair moving north slowly towards Lacerta, split into two lights. One traveling in the opposite direction towards Delphinus. The light traveling north blinks out after 10 seconds. The second moves in a erratic pattern, blinking out between Saturn and Jupiter. Sighting lasted about 1 minute. I have been using telescopes since 1974. I have witnessed the space station, space shuttle and various satellites over the years. This never happened before and I was compelled to record the event. I was with my wife, who also witnessed the event.

Single very bright pulsing light, like a very low star, hovering above tree lines appearing to be several miles S/SE away from my home. It was moving in a very tight location for over an hour, I observed this for over 40 minutes before going inside to cook. When i went outside to see if the light was still hanging around it was no longer there. There were no stars near this light and it is not the first time I have observed them in this area. February 3rd or 4th my girlfriend and I witnessed a lot of activity. Lights circling unknown objects, lights dancing back and fourth, vertical then horizontal. Direction seems meaningless to these lights. I refer to them as dancing stars. I have so far shown 2 family members to confirm these dancing lights. I live on the country side.

Red and green craft drops from clouds

A red and orange oval craft dropped from the clouds to about 50 feet above the trees on the Bangor Waterfront. The craft hovered, then descended into the trees. It remained hidden until it reappeared above the trees again. Dogs began barking at it. It dipped into the trees again. I never saw it re-emerge from the trees. It was a red oval with two green circular lights on the front almost like headlights. The craft was the size of a dime held at arms length.

Longhaul trucker from Canada driving south on the I-95. It never moved, when I looked down at my phone and back up, it was gone. It seemed to be suspended in the sky.

Too bright for a tower, too low for a plane.

4 UFO's fly over home bright yellow circles headed south in Bangor, PA, midnight 2016.

Midnight 2016 saw from my rear window, bright yellow circle, coming towards my house, my husband and I went out front door and watched as it went south rather quickly. Very bright light to the west appeared spotlighting the ground followed by a fighter jet from the west that race and circled for 45 min

To the west I seen a bright light appear and then disappear several times. After a few moments the object was beaming a ray of light off and on. This went on for a few minutes. My first thought was that it was a helicopter looking for marijuana crops, but thought it was odd to be looking at night for them.

After several minutes, a fighter jet from the west raced to its location flying low and circled for about 45 minutes afterwards. The light had disappeared with the arrival of the jet.

For the next hour after that, I watched doughnut shaped chemical trails blow across the sky.

Bright blue object hovering in the sky.

Started with my mom driving home from work. She saw a bright blue object in this sky told me about it when we got home. She tried taking pictures of the ufo and after she took them her iphone went dead despite having 50% battery. When she plugged it in the pictures where changed after a brief charge the phone came back on at 53%. After I heard this i told her go to a place where i can see it. I brought my 20x80 binoculars and my dslr with a zoom lens. I got five pictures before my mom wanted to leave since we where parked in a lot. When I looked at it with my binoculars I saw a intense bright blue but i saw what looked like 2 sides. Just like the one one your site from 9/1 in PA. My mom said she saw different colors, but she can't recall which.

It did not move at all during this time despite being near sunrise I did not see no light reflection from the sun like planes have when they fly into the upper atmosphere, so this thing must of been far away, but low.

Two dimmer, low-flying lights flying one in front of the other at same speed on a northeast path.

My roommate and I were on the rooftop deck of our apartment in downtown Bangor. There's a white bat that lives in the area, and we noticed it flying overhead. The bat was flying somewhere above the vicinity of Main Street & Cross Street.

We were watching the bat, when I noticed what I thought to be a single craft with two dim, semi-hazy lights located on the front and back. (No craft was actually visible, just the two lights. If this was a craft, it would be cigar-shaped.) My roommate whispered, "Oh my god...do you see that?" The lights flew above the bat but below the cloud cover, and were moving at a faster pace than the bat. They moved at the same speed, without sound.

Instantly, the lights jumped forward and to the side, changing direction slightly from a northeast-path to a more northerly path. (Based on iPhone compass app, original path was about 60 degrees, and changed to 35 degrees.) The jump forward in distance was roughly the same length as the distance between the two lights (or, if it was a single craft, the length of the draft, itself.) After the jump, the two lights kind of vibrated, like if it was one craft, it was wiggling ever so slightly and rather quickly.

After the jump, the bat immediately did a 180 and booked it to a nearby church steeple.

This was flying too low to be some kind of satellite or meteor, and there was absolutely no sound, so definitely not a helicopter or plane. (Also, we live right by the airport, and, not only was this thing flying off the regular flight paths, but also, we're pretty familiar with every type of aircraft that lands or takes off around here. Can't think of any possible explanation.

Three or four very large bright white tubular lights that were packed together and pulsating in unison.

I was traveling on Interstate 95 in the southbound lane between exits 191 and 187, when I saw to my right, maybe one hundred feet above the tall trees, a group or cluster of three or four very large bright white tubular lights that were packed together (pointy end toward me) and pulsating in unison at a rate that I estimated to be twice per second.

As we approached each other I stared intensely to see if I could make out the aerial vehicle that these lights were attached to, unfortunately I was unable to identify anything but the lights.

My cruise control was set on seventy and the light cluster appeared to be traveling toward me at a reasonable speed.

When we passed each other I looked in my truck’s side view mirror and was able to detect the object some distance behind me, still pulsating. It is difficult now to say whether the object was traveling in my direction or was stationary. This incident occurred not far from Bangor International Airport (BIA), which is adjacent to a National Guard airbase (Home of the Maniacs). The object made no discernable noise, like a military aircraft does, and was clearly too close to the trees.

I’ve lived in this area for thirty-one years and have never once encountered such a thing.

Chevron object seen in night sky.

I was driving home from Bangor, Maine, at approximately 9:30 p.m. I was on Outer Ohio Street headed West – Northwest. It was still somewhat cloudy from the snow that came through earlier that day.

Because I am always looking at the night sky out of habit and fascination; I looked up out of the upper driver’s side of my truck’s window and saw what appeared to be the same type of object that was previously reported at a earlier time this same evening of Dec. 18, 2014, in Pennsylvania. It was the same as stated in that report: A very large object; in the shape that migrating geese fly and the so called bottom of it had many equally spaced lights on it. For the little time I was able to get a fairly decent view, the lights appeared to be all white, but pretty large. Just as I was about to pull over to get a better view it appeared to ascend slowly into the clouds with an eerie type glow in the surrounding clouds. Then it was history.

This was also fairly near to an airport; but with a few farms and many wide open totally dark farmlands surrounding the area.

I have only lived in Maine 2.5 years, but have seen all sorts of weird objects in the night skies year round. I have been reluctant to report until now. I thought I would come home and get on the computer and see if anyone else might have seen the same thing. BINGO! someone did in a different state just a couple of hours earlier.

Heard and saw a bright opened object that closed to a triangle and flew in front of me

This is the second time I am making this report to add a few details, plus I really like to know what I saw right now I have no clue what I saw. I was driving and came in to this area where I heard an engine mechanical sound, (not a helicopter or plane) I did not see it until I pasted some trees, to the right in the air still in a distance away an odd shape craft in the air just above the trees, really questioned what I saw a brightly light diamond shape saw some tracks on the inside and reddish color, as I watched it closed to a triangle, travelled in my direction and flew past in front of me, this object have three blinking lights one in front two on each side the bulbs were cylinder shaped, there was a flat red light on the back, watched it go slowing into the clouds, I could see the red glowing from red as it was in the clouds. (For the life of me no idea why I did not attempt to get a picture I so regret this)

Twice as bright and twice the size of a regular sized star, a constant white glow and red, blue, green lights squiggling within.

Small sphere witnessed by a boyfriend and girlfriend while outside. Also witnessed three shooting stars in the same vicinity. The sphere was roughly twice the size of a normal star and easily twice as bright. Had a constant white glow and red, blue, green lights squiggling within the white light. Not sure how long it had been there before being witnessed.

Observed for almost an hour before going to bed and it was continuing to shine.

We were outside and saw a bright object flying at a fast pace. It slowed down and got closer to Earth. I was video taping it and it out shinned the stars. My Ipod had full battery and shut off when I was taping. When I checked it it was not saved and the battery was restored. The object got dimmer as it came down slowly. There was only one object to our knowledge. The object was bigger and brighter than a star. It was a bright white color.

Two oval lights appear, hover, and move off to the East

At 5 am I was setting on the edge of my bed looking out my window to th northwest. Earlier I was admiring the huge bright moon while it slipped below the tree line.

As I was taking a pill I looked up and saw 2 lights, shaped oval, hovering over an old Bomarc missile base about a mile or so to the Northwest, just appear out of the darkness.

They just hovered there for about a minute not changing color or shape.

I awoke my wife to see these lights, and just as she moved to see out the window they started moving to the East. They made no noise and the clear white light just kind of flickered slightly. They moved off to the east from the point I first saw them.

Now I am a pilot with over 1200 hours in my log book and, who's father was a navigation tech. With both the USAF and with the Federal Aviation Admin. I grew up around Loring AFB and the Presque Isle airport (along with many nav sights in northern Maine).

My point here is these lights were between me and the Bangor VOR, which sits a few miles off the north end of Bangor International Airport.

There were no strobe or anti collision lights, no wing position lights, a red light should have been visible as they were approaching me and the left wing would have a red light marking it. As i said earlier, there was no sound at any time. The lights were about 2 to 3 football fields apart from the time the appeared until they moved out of my sight.

I see aircraft flying over and around home most every day. BIA is the home of the 101st air refueling wing, flying KC 135 Stratotankers, which make a huge noise on take off and cruising overhead. Also we have a helicopter unit stationed here, flying UH 60 Blackhawks, which are also noisy.

The lights approached no closer than 2 football fields near me. I saw no other lights or aircraft in the sky.

Five yellow/orange orbs flying across sky at low altitude over 15 minute period seen by 5 people

On December 25th, 2012 at 8:30 +/- EST, I observed five objects cross the sky from northwest to southeast over a 15 minute period. These objects were all yellow centered with an orange corona, appearing much like the rear view of a fighter jet engine at take-off. None of the objects made any noise nor showed any visible contrail or vapor stream. Being a moonlit night such streams are visible even with aircraft at higher cruising heights. We live on the pathway to Bangor International Airport and regularly see a variety of aircraft including all type of military aircraft as the facility hosts a military installation. The objects observed did not have any flashing lights as is required on all aircraft. from our vantage point, the objects appeared to be at a height similar to that used by light aircraft, so on the order of 1000 to 1500’. At this height, and compared to the size of the moon on this night, the objects appeared to be 1/10th the size of t! he moon, or as a reverse comparison quite a few times larger than the largest star visible. In terms of brightness, the yellow portion of the object was as bright as the brightest star. When I first noticed the object it appeared to be coming toward me and I thought it was the headlight on the front running gear of a large airliner, as it had a similar brightness. However as the object came closer and no longer was coming at me but going by me it had no shape other than an orb and on such a moonlit night it would have been easy to tell if it had wings or resembled a standard aircraft. Five members my family witnessed these objects.

I contacted the Maine Stage Police who sent a trooper to patrol the area for signs of fireworks or flares, but reported back that nothing was observed. On the next day I contacted Bangor International Airport, and through a few calls ended up at the air traffic control tower. My call was returned later that day, and in talking to the tower they mentioned that the previous night one of the people on duty had noticed a bright light to the west (which would be toward where I am located from the airport), thought nothing of it, and when he returned to the window it was not present. I was told that radar did not pick up anything out of the ordinary, but they are only tracking things with transponders.

Three blinking lights in nightsky of Bangor, Maine, helicopters searching the area.

I was in my room and heard what sounded like a helicopter hovering above. This was around 8:30 pm. At first, I just simply ignored the sound. But after five minutes, I decided to go outside. The sound was indeed that of a helicopter. However, as I looked up into the sky, I saw three lights blinking. The lights must have been about a few miles up in the sky, and equidistant apart (am not sure about the actual distance between each of the lights). Then, another helicopter arrived, circling the area above. As I am typing now, I can still hear the sound of at least one helicopter. They are definitely investigating the blinking lights, which I no longer see.

Single light slowly moves across the horizon.

A single light passed a group of 5 adults tonight around 8:45 pm. Moved from west to east. Was the size of a bb gun bb no strob, no sound. Not sure how high as it was night. Blinked off & on erratically, like going from the size of a bb to the size of all the other stars. Disappeared over the horizon. Object took 2-3 minutes to go from 40 degrees above my head over the horizon.

Stubby boomerang shaped object with no lights, tan/orange in color.

The sighting took place in the center of downtown Bangor Maine. The skies were clear. I observed 4-5 (what I assumed to be) civilian aircrafts before the sighting, and 1 helicopter some time after the sighting. I was on top of an apartment building stargazing when I noticed the object out of the corner of my eye.

The object was fast moving and tannish-orange in color. I observed no lights on the object in the short time I had a good view of it. It's shape could be compared to a stubby boomerang with short wings. It wasn't following the flight path of any of the previously viewed aircrafts. It was difficult to tell the height at which it was flying, but it was flying at a near immaculate pace. I observed the object until it disappeared into the night sky, which leads me to believe the object could have possibly been reflecting the color/light from the city glow.

Additional observation: the object, while it had no visible light emitting portions, appeared to have translucent gem-like fixings. But I diddnt get a good enough look to say for sure.

These photos were taken by my fraternity brother in Bangor, ME on the evening of June 16, 2012 around 22:00 hours. He didn't want to take the time to report this but I did.

Report was that the lights to the left stayed triangular and moved slowly whereas the lights to the right were spherical and moved with extreme and abrupt motion. He was also of the belief one or two of the lights to the right were military jets as when they moved into the picture all of the lights began moving out of his line of sight.

Three orange spheres located in upstate N.Y.

At 23:00 Wednsday night I was traveling south on a side road in a rural area where there are no lights on the road.

As I was driving I saw One orange sphere as big as a middle size ball in the sky, Trying to watch it as it just hovered there and drive to I spotted another one come out behind the orange sphere ( thats what it looked like).

Then as I was entering my sisters drive way I got out of the car and there was three exactly the same color and size. Then they all three just dissapired. I stayed out side for another 10 min and didn't see any more.

Small star-like white light seen 3 separate times, seach time changing direction, travelling straight, and ascending until out of view.

I was outside having a smoke staring at the sky when I suddenly noticed a small moving point of light up in the sky that would have looked like a star had it been stationary. It moved through the sky in a pretty straight path though it did deviate from it's path slight at times. Twice, it quickly skipped forward at 45 degree angles. I will say that I saw the light three separate times so I have no way of knowing if it was the same light three times or individual lights.

There were a two separate airplanes in the sky during my sighting which gave a good point of reference. The planes had flashing lights and were much closer as the lights were much larger than the tiny points of moving lights that I saw. While the planes were clearly much closer, the light moved across the sky several times faster than the planes.

The first time I saw the light it was flying to the North through the sky and as it flew over my house, it slowed gradually as the light grew smaller until I could no longer see it. It gave the impression that it quickly angled upwards to an altitude at which the light could no longer be seen but I can't be sure.

I stayed, watching the sky, and 10 minutes later it reappeared in much the same way that it had disappeared, horizontally, further to the right going the opposite direction it had been going initially. It traveled across the sky going to the South in the same way as before and disappeared again exactly as it had the first time.

5 minutes later, it reappeared the same way a third time further to the North, having changed directions to the North yet again. It traveled and disappeared in the same way again. I waited for 10 more minutes to see if it would return and I did not see it again. Each of the three sightings lasted approximately 15-25 seconds.

I did see a small meteor though which was CLEARLY different; it was very bright and only visible for a fraction of a second.

Fireball or "Flash-ball" maneuvers at low altitude - as seen and heard from backyard

I almost hesitate to make this brief sighting an actual report, but the more we have the better – I suppose. I was standing in my backyard having a smoke at roughly 21:20:00 on November 7th, 2008 when the sighting occurred. It was a very clear night – I cannot remember the moon’s status but it was nowhere near the anomaly. While looking to the north I saw what could best be described as a “flash ball”, or like that of a striking match head (completely white or VERY light yellow in color), streak across the sky above my apartment building. I would have immediately felt fortunate to witness a shooting star or meteor but after traveling about 200-300ft it sharply veered off at an angle – basically flying slightly up and towards the left an additional 75-100ft before the fireball immediately disappeared. The “flash ball” lasted 3-5 seconds and completed the described path in as much time. It created a trail of smoke or exhaust that drew its path in the sky - yet this smoke was only visible in the light of the fireball. I thought that I could make out a dark shape that continued along the same trajectory as the fireball vanished, but much faster – but in all objective honesty my brain could very well have just assumed a continuation of movement. The whole event was over in seconds. It appeared to be very low altitude, I think too low for a shooting star or comet/meteor. I estimate it was only 350 to 500 feet in the air. Very low, and I could hear a noise – but it did not sound like a flare or firework, close as I can come to describing the noise is a short whistle or an oscillated beep. The brevity of the experience makes description difficult, but it was like a noise my computer from the late 80s would make. There is most likely a plausible explanation for this sighting - like a meteor hitting Wonder Woman’s invisible jet and bouncing off at the angle – but I felt like the maneuver would otherwise be unlikely for natural phenomenon.

Pilot and passenger witness light to the northeast of their aircraft, which they could not identify.

Telephoned Report: A young pilot, enroute to Bangor, reported that he and his passenger witnessed a peculiar light directly ahead of their aircraft, which they could not identify. He emphasized that the light was almost certainly not the landing light on another approaching aircraft, and that he could not see red or green navigation lights on the object.

When asked whether he had contacted Approach Control, to have them attempt to identify the object, he said that he had not.

The light suddenly just disappeared, as both witnesses were staring at it from their cockpit.

RED, YELLOW, AND BLUE LIGHTS OVER BANGOR, MAINE.

I was on a vacation I was in Bangor, Maine I ate at an ITALIAN RESTAURANT called EVO ITALIAN BRICKOVEN. When I got there I saw 3 circle UFOS. They had on the inside of the bottom red, yellow, and blue lights. Then I saw 3 triangler UFOS. One was red lighted with yellow dots on the corner, the other one was yellow lighted with blue dots on the corners, the other one was blue lighted with red dots on the corner. This happened on November 22, 2005 on a Tuesday night at 7:45 P.M. I watched these objects these UFOS hovered over the restaurant I was eating at. I kept seeing these UFOS and I walked around the restaurant and I still saw them then I lost sight of these objects and didn't see them no more. Then I went inside the restaurant to eat dinner after I ate dinner I came out of the restaurant and didn't see them no more. They didn't make a sound It was partly cloudy that night in Bangor, Maine. I got back in my car and went back to my motel. I was puzzled to see the UFOS that I saw outside where I ate at.

I saw a translucent, high flying, cylinder, with faint contrails traveling in a direction that is seldom seen in this area.

Most contrails from high flying jets go in a north to south direction but this caught my eye as it was traveling in a south to north direction, very high, over 30 thousand feet. It had no observable wings or tail and looked like a cylinder with slightly rounded ends. It was pale white and seemed translucent like a cloud. It had two, very faint, contrails that were very close together at the rear where the tail would have been. It may have been such a small plane that the wings and tail did not show, like a fighter but is something that I have never seem before. It flew in a straight line quite slowly compared to a normal airliner but didn't dart about or vary its trajectory, Maybe a plane but if it was it looked like Wonder Womans Translucent plane from my childhood comics

two bright white lights(front and back), no noise, moving slow, low to ground, near airbase/airport

slow-moving and low to the ground, the object was oblong with bright white lights in the "front" and "back". two small red, blinking lights on the "bottom" with another small non-blinking white light in the "center" of the "bottom". the object made no noise, if had i would have heard it since it wasn't that far way.

i live near an airport/airbase, so this could have been a plane? this thing couldn't have been a plane nor a helicopter. a week and a half before seeing this thing, i was hearing strange noises coming from the airbase. the best way to describe the noise that i was hearing is to say that it sounded like a ufo from some cheesey 60's ufo film. i heard these noises for about 2 weeks and only late at night/early morning. after hearing what i heard, and seeing what i saw... something strange is going down at the airbase.

I am an overnight DJ at WKIT in Bangor, a little before 1 PM, I received a call from a listener asking me if I knew about the odd light in the northwest sky, just below Orion.....the listener said something about it kinda looking like a star at first glance but if you look at it longer there is a red light rotating around the "star." After getting off the phone, I went outside to look for it. I found it, and after squinting it almost looked like some sort of electronic signals almost in the shape of an airplane with lights that are red, blue and green with one central light. It is the strangest thing I have ever seen. It is stationary and is not moving through the sky, so far it has been in the sky for 45 minutes

A bright light hovering in the sky, closes into itself, then takes off at an incredible speed.

I live in an area less than a mile from the old Dow Air Force Base, the site now houses Bangor International Airport. It was at night, in a little patch of woods known as Brown Woods Trail. My boyfriend and myself were in the woods, no flashlights, just darkness, when we came to a clearing. Coming over the treetops and moving towards us was a bright light. We thought it must be a helicopter as we are less than a mile from the airport. The light just hovered there, making no noise what so ever. As soon as I pointed at it and mentioned it being there, the light seemed to close into itself until it was just a pinpoint of light and then took off straight up at an incredible speed. I don't believe we have the kind of technology it would require to travel at such speeds. Two months previously, in the same general area I experienced the exact same thing.

Spotted strange pulsing light flying at a high rate of speed north to south.

Considering the proximity to the airport, I was hesitant to make this report. However, being past this airport so many times, and never having seen anything that could explain this, I decided to. It was a somewhat overcast night, and the lights of the town and airport were visible to my left as my girlfriend and I drove north on Interstate 95 towards Orono. I noticed a flashing out of the corner of my eye and turned to see a white pulsing, circling flash moving VERY quickly across the sky in a southerly direction. It pulsed intermittently, looking very much like a strobe but a bit slower. It was out of site in only a few seconds, but the speed it moved at was not explainable by normal aircraft, nor was the strength of the light. There was no plane attached to the light - just the light. I saw a plane not a few minutes before that. I told my girlfriend to look, but it was already out of site and she discounted it. It was apparently close, only a few hundred feet up and it moved by flashing along, sort of in an incredibly gentle U-fashion to the south. It was over a small line of trees and the town of Bangor.

A formation of slow flying objects with a haze apperance with no sound being omitted. Formation was a semi circle type and too flawless

On a late afternoon to early evening summer day around dinner time in the Capeheart apartment complexes (formerly the DOW Air Force base military homes for service personnel) on the Finson Road a strange formation was witnessed by myself and my mother and some neighbors.

While watching TV in the living room my mother who was in the kitchen washing dishes hollered for me to come to the front door. She was outside pointing to the sky and what I saw that evening has haunted me ever since. A formation of a couple unidentified objects were flying or more like hovering in the low skyline.

At first my thought was I was watching a couple helicopters except there was absolutely no sound being emitted at all.

They had a flare or bright slightly reddish exhaust in the rear except no smoke was coming out. The exact shape is hard for me to remember but they were not overly large and had a shape unlike any I had ever seen in a military or domestic aircraft. What I remember like it was yesterday, though is how the formation was too perfect and why was there no sound being emitted if they were so low in the sky.

Some of my neighbors' children started to yell UFO mom UFO's. I looked at mom who was white as a ghost and at the same time we uttered to each other frigging UFO's.

Our neighbors' parents came outside and the father uttered holy shit! What the hell are those. The objects slowly and in perfect exact formation started to drift out of sight.

I remember wanting to call the police or the Air National Guard base to report this sighting, because it absolutely spooked the hell out of us, but I decided not to, out of fear of not being believed.

Craft landing behind Bangor State Hospital with associated garage door openings and closings in 1967.

With regard to the Bangor Maine incident of June 1, 1967. I was living in Bangor at the time. I remember that it was noted in the Bangor Daily News. The landing was reputed to be behind the Bangor State Hospital near Hogan Road.

I went out there to look around after reading about it and there were several other curiosity seekers also around. It was reported that those home along Mt. Hope Avenue (which intersects and crosses Hogan RD. ) that had electric garage door openers, there garage doors were continuously for several minutes flipping open and closed ....

i was watching the news on WABI-tv,bangor,maine and they had an interview with a bangor police officer, telling how he went to investigate a ufo sighting on the hogan road,approached the saucer-shaped craft,and fired his service pistol at it,until it took off. later investigation found a burn ring 30' in diameter and higher than normal radioactive reading. should be in their acrchives somewhere
