Sleeping when the bright light woke us up.

my boyfriend and myself were alseep around 3am on 4/19/2011 all of a sudden a bright light shoots in through all the windows in our apartment making it seem as it were 12o clock in the afternoon. The light was so bright it woke my boyfriend and myself out of our sleep.

He got up to check on what it was as we automatically assumed it was a car. The minute he opened the curtain the light swiftly faded with no indication of a car or anyone outside for that matter.
