Myself and my spouse witnessed an unusual metallic object moving quickly in a straight line.

While walking I noticed an object in the sky that was emitting either brief flashes of light or randomly repeating reflections of sunlight. I took notice of the fact that it did not look like a typical airplane. I initially noticed the object because it was near a line of sight to a contrail that I was looking at because the contrail showed that the aircraft that made it had changed direction, which isn’t something I typically notice in contrails. (The contrail was not a product of the object I was observing, it was just the reason I was looking up). I used my cell phone camera to zoom in on the object and through the camera I could see that it did not appear to have wings like an airplane or the general quadcopter shape of a typical drone. While zoomed in I took a single photo (3x optical zoom setting on iPhone 15 Pro). I tried to switch over to a video mode but had a difficult time finding the object in the camera’s zoomed in field of view, so I opted to just watch it. At this point my spouse indicated that he saw it as well and that it seemed unusual. We watched the object quickly fly in a northward direction until it was no longer visible. The object seemed to be moving at a steady speed, in a steady direction, and did not seem to change altitude. We were able to observe it steadily for between 30 to 60 seconds before it was too far away and trees blocked the view. We couldn’t gauge how high above the ground the object was but it seemed quite high, approximately the height of the average conventional aircraft. There was no noise emitted that we could hear. It was a sunny, cloudless day, and the object was very easy to see / track with the naked eye. It appeared to be either white or silver / metallic and reflective of sunlight.

Saw 3 red dots in the formation of a triangle that were slowly moving, independent of each other, then disappeared.

I was looking across the field that’s in front of my house, and right above the mountain range (Appalachian mountains) were 3 red dots that appeared to be in the formation of a large triangle. The lights were moving slowly and independently of each other. I quickly went back inside to grab my mom to show. By the time we went back outside (only a minute later) one of the lights was gone. We watched the last 2 lights slowly move and then fade away, possibly as result of there being heavy fog and clouds rolling in. In total it lasted maybe 10 minutes or so. We had tried to take a video, but couldn’t capture it in time. I am 24 years old and frequently observe the sky and like to take pictures of the moon and stars, but I’ve never seen anything like this before. The map image included shows exactly where we were standing. The small red dots indicate roughly where I saw the lights.

Siny, small, non-moving object in sky on a clear late afternoon.

While driving SE on Westminster Dr., I observed a shiny, circular object above the horizon. The sky was mostly clear. The sun was setting. The object was small, round. It was not an airplane or helicopter or drone. I observed the object for two minutes while at a red light. I lost sight of the object when the light turned green. The object did not appear to move and was stationary. It is possible that it was a low Earth satellite.

Low silent object with multiple blinking lights followed by bright light over field

Last night, at around 10:15PM, my boyfriend and I went outside to smoke a cigarette. We were sitting in a golf cart on the driveway talking. He looked over at me, and saw lights behind my head that weren’t like normal plane lights. When he pointed it out, I turned and looked. What I saw next is hard to explain.

The object that was moving in the sky was very large, and no more than 500 feet in the air, and it was silent. A normal plane, at that height, would have been so loud. We were in an open driveway, in a middle of a field, so the night was quiet. We would have heard it if it was a normal plane. This object was so low, and moving slowly. When we noticed planes in the sky later, they seemed to be moving so fast compared to how slowly this object had been moving.

The lights themselves were so different from anything I’ve ever seen before. The object looked like a triangle shape, but the sky was dark as I’m assuming the object was as well. But on each side, in the middle, there were blinking lights. They were blinking both red and white. We watched as this object turned, and as it changed direction I saw more lights. Either on the bottom or top of the object there was also a circular pattern of lights, that seemed to be rotating. There were at least 10 lights all together, if not more.

We watched for about 5 minutes as this object made its way overhead before disappearing above the tree line. My boyfriend and I were talking, and I was trying to reason with him logically. We’re in Carlisle, PA. There are plenty of military bases around. Carlisle is a huge shipping port. Etc, etc. Then we stood up to go inside. As we got out of the golf cart and turned to enter the house, we saw a light so bright just hovering then, above the field.

At this point, I almost couldn’t move. This light also was maybe 500 feet in the air. It hovered in one spot, but not completely still. It seemed to almost dance in the sky. It was only one light I could see. But it was so bright, it had beams coming off of it, almost like it looked like a pinwheel. It was so bright, it made everything else feel dark. I couldn’t even see the tree line in the distance. It didn’t fly away, it didn’t do anything.

That is when my boyfriend grabbed my arm and pulled me in the house. He was scared and wanted to go inside, but I couldn’t look away. This experience lasted only maybe 2 minutes in its entirety before I made it into the house. But once I got inside I realized more. This light was also silent, and for how close and bright it was, it would have had to have been making a noise. Even small drones you can hear in the air. But this was completely silent.

We went to tell his brother and friends, and when we told them it had just had happened, they ran outside to see if it was still there. Within 5 minutes, by the time we had made it back outside, this light was gone and there were no traces of it. When we walked back outside, the sky was brighter and back to normal. It seemed almost like a different atmosphere outside.

This also, is happening at a time when a lot of strange things have been happening to me. I have RH- blood, and joke about being an alien pretty frequently. But, I’ve recently been waking up with strange bruises that are very small (less than half an inch) in diameter, and are in a straight line. I’ve had objects move literally while my back is turned, along with my phone acting strangely. All of this, along with what we saw last night, is starting to add up.

Loud long transparent craft with red lights on each end

On August 15th 2015 around 9 pm my daughter and I were in the living room watching TV when what sounded like a helicopter went over our home. I looked out the window and I could see a long craft that looked to be transparent with a red lights on each end. I told my daughter to follow me outside so we could get a better look .

Once outside, I thought I would be able to see the bottom of a craft, but neither of us could make out anything but the lights. It looked to be just a long transparent craft that sounded like a helicopter. It was very low.

My husband and I tried to look up drone pictures but couldn't find anything that looked like this. I'm sure other people had to of seen it and would like to know what it was if anyone has and information.

We see tons of odd things where we live and I know they some times have air shows.

My husband also witnessed a large orange orb in 2006 floating above our home. We had just moved in. He said it made no sound. Floated off and never seen anything like it again.

In 2014, my family witnessed silver cylinder like crafts that seemed to be equally paced one in front of the other. I lost count at how many were line. At first I assumed it was a airplane but I would have no idea why they would be lined up or the reason for so many.

Strange flying lights; plane's don't do that.

I am making this ufo report, in hopes that if others seen it, they might be more like to report what they seen.

I was walking into where I work, I was walking east, and saw 2 rows of 5 lights moving from north to south, each set of lights was about 2 fingers widths at arms length, and about 8 fingers width between the 2 separate objects. It was about 7:20 pm February 26th. 28 years working here, I know the view very well. I noticed these two lights, but took them to be airplanes, flying toward me. They looked big, but this is how the mind rationalized what I saw. As I walked, things didn’t look right. I stopped and used a distant light pole to see the direction or flight.

That’s where things didn’t line up. I could see 5 lights on each, so if it was a plane, it has to be moving toward me. Such that I would be seeing headlights of a big plane. But I was due east, and they were going south. There motion was slow, but not unremarkable for planes at a distance of several miles, at about 4 fingers, at arm's length, above the ground.

What happened next, is the thing that puts this into ufo category. This 1st set of lights, turns near vertical, to about 80 degrees. Which is nuts for any airplane that big and that low. But even more odd, is that the forward leading light tilted down. Such that if this were a plane, it would be turning very sharply south. Because I am thinking it moving toward me” because of the lights”, but it was already moving south before the turn. What I saw, was the light go out or turn from view, going north not south. How can a plane, moving south, turn to go north, where the leading light go down to 80 degrees, they didn’t go back to level, just “looked” to turn out of view. The turn was too sharp, and the tilt was in the wrong direction, the plane were too close to each other, and too low. This turn was in about 8 finger widths, and I’m being generous. Then the other set of lights followed, but faster.

If a plane was going south, I should not have seen so many lights. If the plane were moving east “ which it wasn’t” then to turn north, the northern most light tilt down to bank north. I just can’t see how a normal plane can do what I saw.

A shiny sphere with a black band appeared to be falling from the sky then darted west and out of sight

My 60 yr old sister, my 78 yr old mother and myself 51 yrs old, we're sitting in my backyard in town facing south/west. In the sky we saw a sphere that was shiny with a black band around it. It appeared to be as if it were falling from the sky coming straight down.

It appeared out of no where, it made no sound, if we were not looking in that direction and up in the sky we would have never known it was there.

When it went behind the roof tops, we immediately ran towards the Main Street to see where it went and it darted west and it was all but out of sight in a split second.

This was not a plane or anything that we have ever seen before.

UFO over South Central PA 5/26/14

After working in my yard on Memorial Day I was sitting on my front porch at 15:00 looking due east at the horizon. At about 45 degrees east, north east I noticed an object in the sky. I thought it might be a bald eagle circling for its prey. However, the object was too high in the sky to be a bird.

As I looked further I noticed the object was hovering above something, as if it was observing something. After noticing that the object was not moving, and having concluded it was not a bird, it suddenly zoomed off due east at fantastic speed.

I have never seen any aircraft that operated like that before. It was either a government test vehicle (which I highly doubt) or a UFO.

About one half an hour later I noticed two high flying jets going both east to west and west to east at a high rate of speed. Those both had contrails and were moving much more like traditional jets.

I stepped outside of my friend's house to take out some trash and immediately noticed a bright star to the southeast at a 40 degree angle from the horizon flashing and flickering. I put the trash in the bin, and on my way back, looked at the star again. It was visibly flashing colored light. After deciding I wasn't looking at an airplane or helicopter, I called my two friends to come look the star and asked if they could see it flashing too or if my eyes were playing tricks on me. They could see it as well. After a few minutes I retrieved a pair of binoculars from my truck and we all inspected the light. No definite shape was determinable but the lights formed a triangular shape with a gently rounded top, like a cut diamond. The lights were arranged compactly not appearing to form any particular pattern or symmetry. The lights were red, green, and light yellow that emanated from sharp, individual points that flashed rapidly off and on intermittently. At any ! given time 25-35 individual lights were visible, but it is difficult to say exactly how many because of the speed and lack of pattern to their on/off sequence. We took turns looking at the object for around 20 minutes as it stayed stationary, then went back in the house to see if there was anything online explaining what we were seeing. 5-10 minutes later we went back out and found the object had moved farther away and was lower on the horizon. I checked on it periodically for the next 30 minutes as it continued to move away and dip lower on the horizon until trees blocked my view.

Fast moving blue ball of light

I was driving to Walmart and came to a stop. It was an overcast night and pretty dark. As I came to a stop I noticed a light blue almost aqua ball of light that must have been moving faster than mach 1. I served several years on an aircraft carrier and know how fast a jet moves as it is doing a fly by in supersonic flight. However, there was no sound what so ever. It flew form south to north. When I pulled into parking lot not more than 500 yards away there were no lights on the cloud, such a spot light or anything. Never seen such a thing.

2 very bright objects spotted on sunny ,cloudless day

Myself and 3 other men were cleaning up a lawn for spring, there had been a lot of geese flying overhead in the morning and I was looking up often to locate flocks. As I was scanning the sky I noticed a very bright light that was moving forward and reversing directions to fly back where it was just at and also, hovering. It was moving in smooth fluid motions, not in a jerky manner. The flash from this object was very bright and constant. We were watching this object for a couple of minutes as it was moving about the sky. All of a sudden, we noticed another bright light in the sky fairly close to the first one sighted. The second object seemed to be moving in a circular or looping motion. The four of us continued watching these objects for another minute or so until both objects were either to far to see them any longer or they disappeared/vanished. We did not see the second object moving towards the first object at all during this incident, it seemed ! to just appear close to it. When I returned home later in the day I tried to duplicate the brightness of the steady "flash" from the objects, I put a piece of aluminum foil under my overhead kitchen light with the shiny side towards the light bulb to reflect the light. Even that was not as bright as the objects we saw.This incident occurred on 3-18-2010 at about 10:00 AM.

Triangle-shaped object above suburban area flying low with no sound, bright lights, and hovering motion.

Today, 3/11/10, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, one of my best friends and I were walking down Walnut street towards the Carlisle Family YMCA when we noticed a large group of people on the lawn screaming, running around, and grabbing their cell phones.

I looked up and noticed two large, round white lights, similar to car headlights, on the front of a large black item. I of course panicked, and then when it turned, and I noticed the underside, which had a red light on the back, which came to a point, similar to a triangle, I pulled out my cell phone and took a picture just before it went over the houses towards Wal-Mart and Mt. Holly Springs.

The picture I took is at http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x262/gothghost2/Locked/ufo.jpg and shows the large red light, several smaller red lights that were on the side, and one of the large, round white lights on the front. The picture is bad quality because it’s dark, but the lights on the object were very bright and can be seen somewhat clearly.

I have no clue what this thing was, but there is an Army War College in town and a nearby Navy Depo., however this didn’t seem to be military made seeing as how it was maybe only as high as a ten story building and seemed to smoothly hover, did not make noise, and was extremely large.

There was a school bus outside of the YMCA that had lost all of its internal and external lights and power, but I’m not sure if it’s connected or not, as nothing else lost power.

I stepped outside for a ciggetett. As I looked up at a star, I noticed flaches of light at different points around this particular star. A few jets flew over head with strobes flashing. The jets were much lower than the flashes of what I saw. It seemed as if the objects were manervering for position. Then flashes of light were seen eminting from eacj craft. It seemed as though they were shooting at east other. Sometimes one would (fire) the the other one. At other times both would fire at the same time.

This was very much higher than anything of referance. A few commercial jets flew over but at a noticible much lower altitude.

I was reminded of the bible, the book of Ephesians, where it says that we wrestle not against flesh and bollod, but against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places. Again in the Book of Revelation it speakes of Michael asnd His angels fought against the Dragan (Satan) adn his angels, and they prevailed not, but were cast down to the earth. I saw a streak as lightning finaly zoom across the sky. seeming to become lower as it passed out of sight to the west behing the mountain. Aliens are not from another world... but are fallen angels warring against God. This activity will increase very soon. All will see "signs in the sky". This is part of "THE END OF DAYS".

I was sitting on the front porch, not able to sleep. My dog was with me.

Suddenly my dog became very agitated and seemed to want back in the house. At the same time my head and hair began to tingle. This caused me to look up and to my right.

I was shocked to see a luminous green object, circular in the center, with pointed (wings) off to each side. It was just under the cloud deck about 1000 feet. No sound whatsoever, it was just gliding North to South over the middle of the town.

I should note here that Carlisle Pa. is the site of the Army War College. I only note this because a lot of sitings are known to be near US military bases. This is only a School for the learning of warfare tactics. There are no airfields, of anykind nearby that could be used by the military for experimental aircraft.

Cumberland county is a very densly populated area, especially in the eastern part of the county. Westward the skies are far darker as you near the mountain which is the front range of the Appalachian chain.

triangular Shaped craft light in each corner seen on 4/2/03 Carlisle PA time 2145

It was approximately 9:45 PM on April 2,2003 my location was about 6 miles outside of Carlisle PA. I was star gazing and looked toward the Big Dipper when I saw what appeared to be a small cluster of meteors (shooting stars). I was following these lights for about 10 seconds and realized that it could not be meteors when suddenly to my amazement the UFO appeared low overhead. It was Triangular in shape with three large round lights in each corner of the craft were rounded. I watched as it silently glided across the sky for approximately 30 seconds as it headed South. I believe that there was most like several crafts that I saw enter our atmosphere however, I only viewed one close up. Definitely no mistake about this, the craft was to low to mistake it for anything other than what it was a UFO. I could not take my eyes off the one I was looking at. The lights were not bright they appeared to be dimmed so as not to draw attention although clearly visible and giving way to the shape of the craft. I did not see any color it appeared to be black.

Green Chevron Shaped Craft Drops from Sky and Disappears

I and anothar person was travelling down Highway 65 South outside of Carlise, Iowa, which is near Des Moines. To the east of out car we saw a green chevron shaped craft rapidly drop out of the sky and then disappear. It looked as if an airplan was crashing into a cornfield except the craft was an electric green and fell extremely fast and then disappeared before it hit the ground. A few minutes later there seemed to be a ball of light which changed from green to red to blue to white that was larger than a star and distant in the sky that seemed as if it was watching the area.

Carlisle PA sighting of a formation of lights - 3/27/97 I have investigated several similar reports from the Carlisle area. There is a club of ultra-light plane pilots operating from a small airport nearby. They like to play UFO games, and also fly formations. The fact that the lights reponded when the witnesses flashed a flashlight is a sure giveaway. Also, this sighting was near twilight. Ultralights pilots are not licensed. They are not supposed to fly after dark, but have lights for twilight. They use Visual Flight Rules and almost never fly flight plans because they return to the same field from which they took off. They are too small and fly too slowly to appear on radar screens, if at a distance are noiseless (or if the wind blows the wrong way) and may seem to hover, particularly if flying into a headwind. I have been told by a member of this club that "If you want to see a real UFO, you should see us turn our spots on and fly IN A CIRCLE," and he roared with laughter. How to identify possible ultralight formations: 1) the "leader" effect, wherein the lead plane (as with birds) moves around, but the others seem to be steady because they have someone to guide on. 2) unequal number of lights on each wing of a VEE (even number of lights or planes) 3) seen in twilight (although illegal after dark flights are sometimes made) 4) motor noises (but only if very close) 5) usually no motor noses, particularly if at a distance 5) slow or hovering 6) respond to lights or signals from the ground. Investigators should seek out local flying fields on a nice Saturday and make friends with pilots. They are good sources of info, but be careful you don't give them any ideas. Conclusions: These sightingswere most likely ultralights. PS: I once spoke to an ultralight pilot who told me that in the ealry 1980s he belonged to a flying club which operated out of the airport at Stormville NY. They even called themselves "the Martians". He said a pix of their formation once made the New York Times. A 1984 investigative article in Discovery magazine concluded that they were small planes. He said that the small plane pilots also also tried UFO hijinks, with spots and Christmas lights, etc., but he said the "real Martains" were the ultralights. They stopped doing it after literally thousands of commuters were stopping on roads and they were afraid they would be heldl responsible for traffic accidents. These were the stimuli for the ""Hudson Valley UFOs". Of course, once people started looking up, they saw UFOs everywhere. There is an incredible amount of air traffic in the NY metro area. Delgado and Hynek's book "Night Seige" dismissed the Discovery explanation with only a couple paragraphs, yet included sightings with "UFO motor noises", no radar contacts, "hovering" etc. This book can't be taken seriously because of its dismissal, withouht much discussion, of the Discovery investigation. My acquaintance related this story to me and then roared with laughter, "Now everybody's doing it", he told me.

We were star gazing in the backyard. Will went in to get a book.When he came back, Jim stared blinking a flash light toward an object that lokked like a satillite. However it became very bright. It started off in the east and went toward the southand disappered. It came back with 7 others from the south and flew formation toward the west. Grey and brightorange were the colours.

Summer 1995 I was 11 years old.

My dad had a big flash light that was really bright. One night I was outside shining the light into the sky. Just playing. A solid, unblinking light started going over me. would pass over.. then come back again. time it would get lower and lower. As it got lower, I noticed that there were 3 bold lights under this flying craft. The lights were in a triangle formation. They did not blink. The object had no sound. No wind. No vibration. When it got very low, I got little scared and went inside my house. I was spooked but interested.

I started including my friends and favorite cousin in this flash light activity. Everytime I "called" this flyinb object with the flash light.. it would come. My friends loved it. And so did I. We thought it was an alien.. we named it Monikiwoo. Please don't stop reading because of that. I'm not joking, I assure you. We were children, so of course we gave it a silly name.

As the summer went on, the object began showing up even when I didn't call it with the flashlight. One night in particular was terrifying. My cousin and I were swimming in my backyard after dark. Suddenly I heard my dogs barking, and seen them darting around the yard. A few moments later the familiar 3 lights came over the trees and to the pool. We hid under the biggest float. I will never, never forget seeing a bright light... light up the bottom of the pool. So bright that I could see the details on the liner of our pool. I do remember we heard something scuffling around the pool. But maybe it was the dogs.

Once the light left we bolted in the house. This is when I knew this thing was targeting my home and coming uninvited. My mother was very frightened and told me not to use the flash light anymore. Or go outside at night.

Fall came and I didn't see it anymore. But that following summer it was back.

Summer 1996. I was 12 almost 13. I was having a little slumber party with the same cousin and my best friend. The 3 of us liked to sit in the road late at night and talk. It's a small neighborhood with little traffic so that's why we could do that.

Anyways, we were talking. I looked up to see the 3 bold lights cruising between my house and our neighbors. Coming right over the houses, directly to us. It was lower than I'd ever seen before. Honestly, I'd say it was only a couple feet above the telephone wires. And again there was no wind, no sound and no vibration. It flew smooth. That's best way to describe it.

Size of the craft? Seeming as it was night time and I could only see its lights.. I can only give you a rough estimate. I'd say it was approximately 25 to 40 feet wide. The triangle of lights was probably about 10 feet wide.

Perhaps I can explain better if I can speak with someone on the phone.

Once the craft was over us, I did see 2 skinny and long lights flash different colors.. right before the 3 big lights suddenly burst light down on us.

Us girls all screamed and ran inside. We told my mom what happened. She could tell we were really scared. She called the Middletown Airport. They said they sometimes got reports from Carlisle of strange flying objects. I don't know about that. I only know what we experienced.

Afterwards, I wanted to be tough and go back outside. My friend, cousin and mom stood by the front door as I made my way back into the road.

I stood in the road looking all around the sky. Couldn't see the craft. I thought it was gone. I looked to my left, down the street. Under one of the street lights there was a tall, skinny guy walking fast. I just thought it was someone walking home from somewhere. But I still ran back inside.

We all stood at the kitchen window, which directly faces our road. The tall man walked by. He was much taller than I originally thought. Very thin. Long arms and legs. Dressed in a shiny black outfit. Outfit was tight fitting.

Most alarming was how he was walking. Very jolty. Sharp movements with his arms. And he was like stomping. He seemed robotic in his movements.

Naturally we all freaked out. Something inside told us this man was not human.

Later that night: We went to bed an hour or 2 later. My cousin and friend were sleeping vertically in the bed. While I laid horizontally at the foot of the bed. I was the closet to the window.

My window was always open with a fan in it back then. We didn't have air conditioning.

At some point I woke up because of a light in my eyes. Yes, the classic tale of a light beaming through a window.

I feel stupid when I do tell someone about this part of the story because I was the only one who seen it shining into the bedroom, and because I'm afraid people will think I'm lying.

The light had a gravitational pull. I rolled out of the bed onto the floor. It was like I moved in slow motion. The light seem to be slowing things down(?) It was strong.

I was pushing off the wall for leverage and reaching for my door.

My cousin and friend did not wake up.

When I finally reached my door and got it open.. the light disappeared and it felt like someone cut off a heavy stone that I had been pulling.

I got Mom. We moved my cousin and friend into the living room. We slept out there for rest of the night.

That's it.

It feels really nice to say it to an official place. I don't know what the flying craft was. Or the tall man. We still talk about it. All I know is it happened.

I will go to my deathbed wondering what that was.

The meteor: About the year 1790, on a clear summer evening, I was sitting on the stoop playing the fiddle. About 9 o’clock in the evening a shine of light appeared and increased until it overshone even the light of the meridian sun in some clear day, and enlightened my stoop in such a manner, that I might have picked up a pin in every corner.

Then I heard a great roaring coming direct from the North, I started up and looked out from the stoop, and behold! I saw a fiery meteor, or as the Germans call it a "mine droke," a dragon coming on and passing by at the distance of about 250 yards West of me, a distance of about 60 or 70 feet above the cleared ground.

It kept along down through the hollow, on the other side of the hollow it met with the rising of the hill covered with woods and tall trees, there it took a sudden rise and went just over the tall trees so as not to touch them, and on over a kind of flat or level ground, until it met with the foot of the noted hill, by the Indians called "Owelus Sowless," then it ascended higher, ascending as the ground rose, and went over the hill where I could not watch it farther. I had had a view of it about a mile and a quarter. It moved about as fast as a common horse in a horse race.

The meteor as I shall now call it, was about 300 yards long in a serpentine shape, excepting the head which resembled the root of a tree plucked up by force. It had no appearance of a neck, the body was thick as a bullock, tapering off like a serpent at the end of the tail. The appearance was similar to welding hot iron and sparkling like it.

The immense heat warmed through my whole house, and left a stench like burning tar and sulphur, which was smelled all the next day.

Traditions, superstitions and fabulous stories are often told of meteors, apparitions and ghosts, wherein I place but small confidence for want of confirmation, but for the above, mine own eyes, and sound mind and body bear witness of the truth I have here related. As witness my hand.
