I saw a very bright light in the sky and then it disappeared.

I saw very bright white lights that looked like three lights very close together. They were brighter than a star or any other light I had seen in the sky.These lights were staying in one spot and did not move as I was driving towards them. It was as high in the sky as a plane would be and after about 30 seconds of watching them it suddenly disappeared.

Three star sized objects,thought it was Orion's belt until they were actually traversing in a North Eastern path from the Western side of the Valley here. They were also in a linear formation approximately the same altitude as Jetliners, no blinking lights,sound or vapor trails.With my hand I gauged they were spaced the distance apart from my thumb tip to knuckle,about one and one half inches.

Vanishing and re appearin UFO

I was sitting in my garage when I noticed a shiny object slowly flying in a south southwesterly direction. There were no lights on the object. While observing the object it VANISHED for about 30 seconds to a minute. Then the object reappeared, and seemed to hover for another minute then VANISHED again. I tried to observe the area for about 10 more minutes but it did not re-appear

Small, flashing, moving light over hyde park

It was about 12pm ((sic. 12:00 a.m.)), and my dad happened to be looking out the window when he was going to bed, when he saw something. He called me in and told me to look out the window in the sky. We live in the country so there is not a lot of light pollution. There was an object that looked to be a star, but slightly larger, and not sure how exactly far away. It would move in a small area around it, in a zig-zag motion, and it went up and down, and in circles. It was also flashing colors slowly, such as pinkish purple, red, green, and blue. It wouldn’t move all the time, but every so seconds it would move. I know it couldn’t have been a star because of the way it was moving, and just the colors were very vivid. It seemed to have move up quite a bit from when we first started to watch it. There was a couple planes, I believe that have also been in the sky, but this was no plane. It was a very strange sighting, but also a little difficult to see because of the distance.

coming in the house my son yelled,mom there is something in the sky!,i thought nothing of it but he insisted i take a look.there it was an illuminated sphere circleing over my neighbors drivway a couple hundred feet up,which is actually very low,it moved strangely i cant explain it,it scared me! i grabbed my son and ran inside,so i dont know how long it was there.

Steady light suddelly brightened and steaked across the sky.

Dim brown light, assumed to be Mars. Watched it for a minute. It got very bright, and moved rapidly to the right, about ten times faster than planes that had been observed previously. I ran across the yard to watch it, and it took an impossiblly sharp right turn, and disappeared a second later.

B-2 Bomber hovers! My sister was in her back yard when she heard a "whooshing" sound, very loud. She turned to see the B-2 bomber (Stewart Air Force base is just across the Hudson River from her location, so military planes are not unusual) hovering motionless for at least two minutes. It was very low (maybe a few hundred feet), had no lights at all, and made a whistling, whooshing sound. She ran into her house to grab her camera, and when she returned to her yard it could be heard, but not seen. An hour later she saw it a second time, this time moving unnaturally slowly, but not quite hovering, as it made it's way east. She took pictures which are yet to be developed. Three days later the local newspaper ran a picture of the B-2 supposedly taken over Hyde Park, N.Y. (my sister's hometown) with a short blurb about the bomber flying over the town. This is the first I've heard of the plane being able to hover. My sister was absolutely sure of this, as she witnessed the craft at very low altitude, less than quarter mile distant for at least two minutes.

The B-2 is exactly the shape as the Hudson Valley U.F.O. from the early 80's, and is entirely similar to countless reports of boomerang, or chevron shaped sightings. I believe this is significant. I have never heard of the B-2 being able to hover, yet my sister is a sober and sane person, I believe her story completely.

In the sky were three glowing traingles. One flew directly overhead and I could see the underside, which was dark and made of metal. It flew off into the distance, where it met with two other objects like it and they all became one and flew off

Glowing green ball skirting along grounds of house

As I was on the back of my father's 3 wheel 'track' vehicle in Hyde Park Vermont I looked over my shoulder and saw a glowing green ball skirting erractically over the ground. It was approx. 15-20 feet away, several feet from the side of my father's home. After watching it zipping around for several seconds, the glowing green ball 'leapt' over a pinetree - approx. 20 feet high. I was able to see that it was descending once clearing the top of the pinetee. I use the term 'leapt' because that is what it appeared it do - quite quickly & deliberately as if it did not want to be seen. The ball was florescent green (like a traffic signal at night), perfectly round, about the size of a cantalope, without a 'tail.' It did not leave a trail or make any noise.

flat saucer-multiple white lights on the bottom,going on and off,one at a time, in rotation. light in center of disc (red?) altitude estimated at no more than three or four hundred feet,heading due south at approx thirty miles per hour. At the time,there was a sound very much like a diesel locomotive taking a slight strain.. Unfortunately, there were railroad tracks with a slight grade a half mile away. I believe,however,that the sound came from the UFO.

This object was seen just off Route 9, from an apartment complex directly across from the Roosevelt mansion in Hyde Park,New York. The day was bright and sunny.

Yes,I know,this was 29 years ago. I had never believed in saucers until I saw this one. The next day,I got a book on the subject and saw a sketch of the exact UFO which I saw.
