2 bright yellow orange lights traversing south to north slowly climbing then disappeared

About 11:40 pm 7/4/23 saw first object flying south to north, bright yellow orange flickering light climbing slowly in sky. Another object followed behind along same trajectory and same appearance. Continued climbing and started turning east while climbing. First one then the second disappeared into clouds presumably. Seemed to have bright central light and 2 or 3 smaller lights flickering or blinking close to central light. Was not fireworks. Looked at Flightradar24 app at 11:44 pm, no planes appeared anywhere close to that trajectory or in a pair. I would guess altitude at 5,000 feet but difficult to tell. My impression was they were low. They were seen in the direction of the airport from my vantage but were not following typical flight paths. The lights were larger and brighter than airplanes. No sound of engines could be heard.

Two triangular objects they were black with white lights underneath them three on each no sound and they were about four to five hundred

My son was learning about the moon and stars in school. So we got a telescope just so we can look at the Moon. And then this happened couple days after we started messing with the telescope. It was around 11:30. I went outside to have a cigarette walked out to the middle of my driveway I just looked up to see if I could see anything I could see with my telescope when I looked towards the back of my house I seen six lights they were all white. I have an airport near me that's like two streets away a little Cessna Airport. And then the Buffalo International Airport is about 10 miles from me. As I'm watching these things I'm wondering why I don't see colored lights cuz I'm used to seeing colored lights because of the planes flying by all the time. But then I noticed there was no sound either and being so low I should hear something. As I'm looking at them the one to the left turned towards the Buffalo International Airport and the other one to the right turned flying towards Niagara Falls air base ( which is super far away from my house) so I watch the one going to the Buffalo Airport it flew for a short distance towards the airport and then turned around to follow the other one. I have no idea what it was kind of creepy if I knew this website existed I would have said something about it long time ago when I was flushing my head

Many Red/Orange balls over Cheektowaga, NY during 4th of July fireworks.

Date: Thursday, July 4, 2013 Time: 9:40pm – 10:40pm General Location: Cheektowaga, New York Specific Location: Mt. Cavalry Cemetery Mausoleum. Corner of Wherle Dr. and Genesee St.

Reason for being there: I was watching the fireworks show from the Cheektowaga town park. I chose that location because I wanted to view the show with a much smaller crowd around.

My observations: What drew my attention to it was that it was not behaving like an aircraft, and was clearly too high to be a helicopter. Due to the proximity of the buffalo Niagara International airport, I am quite familiar with the flight patterns of aircraft and helicopters. I make my assumption of its altitude because it was clearly above any clouds overhead. In addition, it produced no noise, and no strobe lights and no navigation lights where visible. At the start of their cycle, they where small.

By the time they where overhead, they appeared as a faintly orange ball. By the end of their path, they where large and darker than the midnight blue sky.

I was not the only person to observe these lights. At least 8 or more people saw them too. There was no wind.

Sequence of events: Roughly at about the same time as the show started, I observed a red light followed by an orange light. It first appeared to be coming from the Southwest, slowly traveled with a gentle wavering, passed directly overhead, and continued Northeast.

About 4-5 minutes after it moved out of sight, another one appeared from the same location and slowly made its way to the same destination.

Roughly around the middle of the firework show two of them traveled overhead, and merged close together, then apart, but still held the same course.

These “fly over’s” continued through the firework show. I do not know when they stopped, as I left the area after the firework “grand finale”.

Me & my girlfriend were driving down Harlem rd. in cheektowaga NY, it was a sunny day no clouds in the sky, there is an airport about 5 miles away of our sighting so airplanes are relatively low landing and taking off.

I am interested in Television shows about UFO's and other phenomenon so I'm always looking In the sky's. I see an airplane taking off, this plane is close to the ground where we're driving and I see a dark grey metallic looking object flying directly over the airplane, the shape of the object was like oval saucer shaped,

I ask my girlfriend do u see that flying over that airplane and she says yes, for what seemed to be minutes but was around 40 to 50 seconds we ask each other what that could be flying over a plane, ruling things out as we are looking at it, there is a ton of cars on both sides of the street we are asking each other if anybody else sees it, I am driving so I'm trying my best to stare and drive. Then it leaves our view, this was! the most amazing thing I have ever seen, my heart is beating telling the story, my girlfriend is skeptical of UFO's and alien life but she does not deny we seen something out of this world that day, I told my mother, father and siblings about what we seen and they do not believe us, my girlfriend doesn't want to sound crazy to my family so she tells them we did see something but she can't explain what it was, I wish I can take a lie detector test to prove to my family we seen something that day.

2 Orangish/Red Round Glowing Objects Spotted Near Buffalo Airport.

While coming out of an establishment on Union Rd near Genesee St, I observed a orangish, red, glowing round object about 800ft in the sky. During the first moments of observing this object, I was carefully trying to figure out what it could be. There were no strobe lights on it and no other colored lights, and it made no sound.

I first thought that it could be someone on a self-propelled hang glider with a light attatched to it, or even a hot air balloon; until I noticed the object almost come to a complete stand still in the sky with no loss in elevation. Right at that moment out of the corner of my eye, from the right side, I noticed a second similar object moving quickly towards the first object that was hovering. It looked like the first object had waited for the second one to catch up. Right when they got closer together, they both began to rise in unison. It was right at that time that the Buffalo Airport was landing planes and without realizing it at first, these two objects were in the glide path of the jet that was about to land. The pilot of the landing jet had to see these two objects as they were in his direct line of sight while he was landing. The Buffalo tower must have seen them also. So these two round glowing balls of light rose up to get out of the way of the incoming jet. As the jet passed underneath them, they continued to rise at a high rate of speed; disappearing in seconds. These two object had intelligent motion. First, one slowed down and waited for the other; then they rose up to get out of the way of an oncoming jet, then they ascended at rate of speed never seen before into the night sky. No aircraft, glider, hellicopter, or balloon could have did what I seen these two objects do.

Three bright orange/red distinct lights of UFO's spotted in skies in western New York on 8/12/2011

On Saturday, August 12, 2011 at approximately 22:40 EST, my sister pounded on my front window of my house to get my attention to come outside. She seen a UFO! I went out without shoes to see not just one, but three and yelled for my son, who is 21, to come outside also.

The UFOs appeared to be lights high up in the sky that were orange/red in color. Two preceded the third and third appeared larger in brightness.

They seemed to be heading east though moving upward. The two disappeared, then the third. This seemed to take several minutes.

My sister took a photo with her cell phone of the first one she seen (the other two had been blocked by the trees initially) however, the photo does not look like the same as what we had seen.

Also, of note was that my nephew said he and his neighbors seen one two nights earlier. It was that night and then again the night of our sighting that I noticed helicopters flying in my area well after midnight. Even though this occurred near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, helicopters are normally not heard so late at night.

At apx. 9:30 P.M. on Dec. 4, 2008, as I was walking through the parking lot at work; I turned to check that my lights were off. As I turned, to the west, I saw a bright object streak across the sky. My first thought was that it was a very bright meteor, when suddenly it changed direction, curved upward, gained altitude and disappeared.

Saw bright star like object during the day directly overhead.

Went outside at work and was looking up at the nice blue sky and noticed a very white intense circle of light directly overhead. It was the size of the brightest star at night but it didn't twinkle. This event occurred at 8:30am.

It was stationary and when some small puffy clouds went past it, you could still see it. I tried getting someone else to witness, but it was gone after a few minutes.

A triangular shaped object with flames and green lights floats through the sky in my neighborhood.

We were sitting in my friends backyard around a bonfire. I was starring up at the sky looking at the stars when to my left a triangular shape appeared. I first thought it was a plane and then realized that I never seen a plane like that before. I was able to point out three corners of the craft which did indeed look like a triangle. The front had two green lights at two points and what looked like a red flame in between them. It was moving a bit slow for a few seconds and then picked up speed. We stood up and ran to the front of the house because the house next door was in the way of our view. When we made our way there it had disappeared. It wasn't a cloudy night so us not being able to see it anymore was a bit strange.

Very large dark grey object over small community in Western New York frightens non U.F.O believers.

On August 12th 1996 at approximately 13:00, I was watering some plants at my landscaping buisness. It was a hot overcast day.At this time something had caught the corner of my eye and I looked up.In between the break of the heavy overcast clouds there was a very large disk shaped object just hanging there approximately one-hundred to one-hundred and fifty feet above the ground.It was a dark grey in color.No lights,no noise,no crew compartment.Just hanging there like it was looking at me.It appeared to be approximately sixty to eighty feet in circumference.Very large.Up unto this point I was a total disbeliever.I dropped the watering hose at my feet,and ran to a small engine repair shop that shared the same building with my company.There were two mechanics working there at the time.When I arrived there I immediately called the two mechanics outside to where I was standing but the clouds had filled that area of the sky again.I had told them what I had just seen and they began to laugh and make some expected comments until when just then another small break in the clouds had proven my sighting.The object had still been there except it was approximately an added three-hundred feet above the previous position.Both men became very frightend and ran bak to the shop.They said "call news or police" "did you see that thing"? oh my God! We continued for awhile trying to figure out what to do.The main mechanic said " I wish we had a camera" I'll call nine one one and the news.The news never took us serious until other calls came in but it had been forgotten about pretty quick by the local news and authorities although they confirm that something had been there and no records of any aircraft had been in that area that day.

bright ufo lights up night in new york near buffalo

my sister and i were i were travelling from queens new york to buffalo- new york to visit our mother. we were on a very dark road with the only light coming from cars (ours and the few that were on the road)

suddenly our car was lit up by a very bright light. the whole right side of the sky was lit up. in the sky was a huge bright object with colored lights. it made no sound. i couldnt make out the shape because the light was too bright.

i remember purplish pink, blue and green. it was not moving when we first saw it then it shot across the sky at an incredible speed to our left. the clouds were moving left to right so that when we first saw it it wasnt in the clouds but when it shot across the sky it went above the clouds and we could see the clouds light up with the different colors and go across the sky.

later that morning there were reports of a meteor but it wasnt a meteor. we saw because it was stationary for a time.

i did keep the news clipping and have it to this day.

there were also tv news reports on all with different stories but one had a VIDEO of what we saw.

not when it was clearly visible, but when it was over the clouds. you could see the clouds lit up with the lights going across the sky.

i only saw the footage once. it was never repeated and i watched all the news shows that day hoping to see it again.

i see many reports on this website of a sighting on the same day as mine and in nearby areas. did anyone see that tv footage? it was in the morning. does any one know who shot that video?

White teardrop shaped object observed during the daytime

The exact day is not positive as this was a long time ago. I was walking with my father down a sidewalk (north to south) in the apartment complex we lived at when for some reason our attention was attracted skyward. (There may have been a whistle sound but not postive of that).

(Weather at the time was a totally clear blue sky with no haze and since we were next to a 2 story apt. building the sun wasn't high enough in the sky to be seen over the roof).

A teardrop shaped object flew over us at about an 75-80 degress angle of elevation above the Southern horizon moving east to west. It appeared to be emitting it's own light source and was uniformily white in color. The light was a very pure white but did not glare. I recall trying to see any detail but could not. The perceived size was larger than a full moon but there was no way we could determine how high it was nor the actual size and speed. I had the impression for some reason it was at least a few thousand feet up. There was no contrail left nor any pieces falling off and no change in direction, velocity, shape and color in the short time we witnessed the object. Afterwards my father and I we wouldn't report it and as far as I know there weren't any reports of a sighting in the area in newspapers.

While hardily an expert I do know that the object was not a plane, bird, cloud, balloon, bolide meteor, or Venus. I have never seen anything of this nature since that time but felt I should report it now just so it's in the public record.
