Strange moving light in the sky to the north and slightly west. Definitely not an airplane, drone, satellite or Chinese lantern.

Spotted it looking up at the stars in North/northwest sky at about 70°, standing in my back yard in the village of Palmyra. One of the stars got really bright and started to move. It dimmed and got bright and then dimmed again, this happened a few times but not in a regular flash or pulse interval. It was moving north and appeared to change course sharply to the east, then back to north again. The motion almost looked like it was skipping along. Then it disappeared for a few seconds and reappeared in a bright flash of light to the west of the position it disappeared from. It continued to move north from there and then it was out of our view. This lasted for about 5 minutes from the time it first caught my attention to when I lost sight of it. My husband also witnessed it.

I observed a light traveling in elliptical and straight formation

I got up early in hopes to see the meteor shower. It was a clear night partial moon. I didn't see any meteors, but saw a couple satellites and 2 jets passing over. When I spotted what I thought was another moving satelite, it did a u turn and did several elipses. Occasialy it would move back and forth. It didn't move out of perhaps I'm guessing a 1/4 to 1/2 a degree. It was the same brightness and size as the satellites I observed earlier. I judged the speed of its movement to be approximately as that of the other satellites. I observed this for about 30 minutes.

Craft flying up behind then out front of Space X Rocket launched from Florida

Was unloading car, turned around and seen Rocket with white plumes behind it in sky looking South towards Lancaster, looked really cool so I videoed about 30 seconds of it then went about unloading rest of car . Later I watched it back and noticed at 12 seconds in there was a small light very fast goes past rocket. When I paused the video and went frame for frame you can plainly see a craft comes up behind then beside then out front where it takes off like a flash. Whatever it was it was going way faster then that rocket

Dogs scratching and whimpering at door. Observed a dark craft the size of a barge over pond in the field. Object was two stories still and quite. Was stationary for 90 seconds, felt a strong gust of wind and object hurled vertical at amazing speed and was gone. Went to the pond the next day and the water was noticably lower and was mud splashed around the bank, found a few fish in the feild.

String of bright white lights/orbs when facing west, starting at lower right horizon and traveled steadily up and to the southwest until completely disappearing after each would reach a certain point. almost looked like they were being dragged across the sky on a string into a void. Machine-like humming heard

Woke up to a loud humming and machine-like rumbling. But didn’t sound like anything I’ve heard before. It was loud right outside my window, and right when I woke up, it sounded like it flew away. And I could hear the hum of the ufo after it left. Very deep pitch. As it flew away, the pitch of the hum went up and lasted for a few minutes. And then later in the night, the sound came back for a couple minutes, and was gone again.

Took my dog out to do his business and I noticed a bright rectangular object in the south west sky. It was travelling away from us at a distance in an irregular pattern. Over a few minutes it became a bright white light before lighting the horizon. It was perfectly quiet, seemed large and a long ways away.

orange glowing craft fly over Palmyra PA

..Noticed from the west a fast moving orange glowing object, as it gained altitude I saw through binoculars a lighted object drop from it, only visable for a second, as the main object with the orange halo around it became smaller as it moved higher and more rapidly to the east.

Then looking back to the west, we saw another one coming the same direction. This one did not have the same glowing halo around it but again through binoculars I saw an orange light underneath a solid dark craft with no wings and appeared to be domed, circular and rotating.

This one was at a lower altitude and turned to the north as I lost view of it behind some trees. They were close enough to be heard but there was no sound. All took place in about one minute.

I observed an aircraft that seemed to look odd in that it looked fake like a projection.

It flew into a cloud east of me in an easterly direction. The craft never came out of the cloud.

As I watched in amazement, I noticed the cloud remained stationary, and over a short time disappeared.

There was a central white light, too. No sound. My husband saw it and has no explanation. I texted my best friend who lives in the area of the sighting and she saw it too. None of us know what it is, but it's not a star.

I was taking out the trash at 8:12 pm after being told to do so by my father. I live in town and live near a street lights that drowns out most of the stars but I tend to look up at them anyways. While I was walking up my side walk I noticed the five bright lights which the street lights were unable to mask and I wrote them off as aircraft however there floaty movement caught my eye. I watched them move back and forth for a few minutes in abnormal patterns not straight lines then they vanished. The objects were flying at medium altitude (lower than a plane) with a single solid red light on each craft. I've never seen anything like this and felt I should share my experience. Bright stationary changing colors; red blue, green and white. Varied intensity.

After midnight we noticed a very bright object that seemed to fluctuate in intensity and color. We examined it, sharing 2 binoculars for an hour. It stayed in the same spot all that time and was still there when we retired. It changed colors from green blue to white and red, sometimes very bright and clear, sometimes fading. It definitely was not a plane or planet. Not sure how far away, maybe a couple miles. The night was very clear. My wife and I saw it again the next night at the same location in the southeastern sky. We again studied it with binoculars for half an hour.

I took 2 pictures with my phone that aren't clear but do show the color change.

Yellow/white lights hovering over field in Palmyra, PA.

I was driving up Forge Rd. here in town on my way home. I went to turn left down my street and about 10 extremely big white/yellowish lights were hovering in the sky over a field. I saw about 10 lights in a half oval and the lights were diminishing one by one and then, all of a sudden, the last 4 or 5 light went out at once.

I was under it off to the right and there was NOTHING in they sky no planes no flood light nothing.

I called the Palmyra police and they laughed at me and I was the first to call they said.

I went home went on facebook and my close friend saw it as well but he had 2 other people that could testify that we all saw the same thing. He posted something to Facebook a little video of the very end. I'm really freaking out.

I have seen other pictures of sightings in Arizona and Florida and its the SAME thing I saw. I

I'm very freaked out by what I saw and to know others saw what I did has me freaking out even more and this is why I am contacting you! !!!!!

A light that at first was blinking on and off then stayed on and was flying around outside my window.

The single UFO was at first in a straight line from left to right blinking and flying across my window.

Thinking it was a plane and it was 3:30 AM, I decided I would just close my eyes and go to bed. Of course I had to keep watching it until it flew away, though.

Right after the object disappeared, it came from right to left as it's single light stayed on.

It flew around in circles for a bit then left the scene.

When I went to the back door to check out what might be happening, the first thing I noticed was 2 bright circles about 100 feet above ground.

At that time one was just above my house and moving very slowly, no noise could be heard from these objects.

The one in the back was about 800 feet behind the 1st one and was identical.

Me and my dad were night fishing it was a star filled night and clear skys i remember because as i was fishing i kept admiring the stars in the sky . in the distance i noticed 1 star that was really bright but it was quit a ways away so i kept fishing and every few minures that star caught my eye it seemed to be getting closer in distance bur not rapidly rather slow after about 30 min of seeing this star off and on i actually caught a few fish crappie..and i looked up again and the thing that i thought was a star was almost right above it was huge it was shaped like a blow up boats bottom is the best i can explain the shape but at least the lenght of a football field and i dont know the with from the ground but it was wide also it had flickering lights on the bottom and it was as low enough that ifcit was a plane you would have heard the engines as it went by but there was no sound whay so evet and as it moved over us slowly i asked my dad do you see that and ! heclooked at me kokingly and said i see nothing being astonished at what we were seeing i did not think to take out my cellphone and take a picture i wish i would have but after seeing that i wouldnt doubt anyone if they said that they saw something even if it didnt sound believable the funny thing is we werent frightinged by the siting the object went over us and kept on its route fromwrst to east but its surprizing that no one reported it to the media becausr even though it was after 11pm there was still quit a few vehichles out on the road we were fishing on route 31 we were fishing at port gibson right next to the bridge i know people might doubt my story but thats one event ill never forget

My wife and I were out side enjoying the night sky, We started to see these stars just up and move in all directions, there would be 1 to 5 at a time. Some were bright some were dim. Others would blink really bight gold lights and the others would either vanish or take off at a high rate of speed. We see these most every night we go out at all times of the night. My wife downloaded a satellite tracking app on her phone and there were none in sight. Even they were there were to many and the didn't have a certain direction. Some would go one way then stop and go back the other way. They went from west to east and south to north or just the opposite. Very very high in the sky and no noise or blinking lights. We saw at least 30 over a 2 hour period last night. A few were connected by a beam of light. My wife's phone would not pick them up due to there high elevation.

Starlike object witnessed in morning sky

I came out of Wal-Mart in Palmyra at 6:16 AM and looked up in the northwestern part of the sky at an angle of approx. 80 degrees and saw a bright light in the sky.

At first I thought it could be a star or planet, but no other stars were seen.

Being that the sky was already light due to the sun rising, the light from it was constant for the first 4 minutes that I observed it.

My thoughts that it was a star or planet changed when it gave off a burst of bright white light and increased in size for a moment.

It then started to gradually fade out until it was gone.

It never moved from its location in the sky and I heard no noise from the object.

I wish I had a camera with me to capture this object, but I don’t even own a cell phone so I was left just observing it by eye.

Series of star -like bright lights that came on and formed an arc then disappeared. Saw 3 times.

12-12-07 I was driving to pick up my son from daycare and it was 5:15 pm. The first series of lights I saw were red-orange and appeared for approximately 5 seconds as a series of straight line lights all of the same shape, and then all disappeared at the same time. I looked around to see what could have caused the lights, perhaps a reflection, someone turning on Christmas lights, etc… but could not see anything. I drove further towards town and off to my right, right above Palmyra center of town I saw a series of white lights “come on” one at a time and as each light (looked the size of bright stars) came on, the first one was still visible but looked less bright. This continued quickly until about 9-15 lights along an arc were lit up and again, as quickly as this happened it all disappeared at once. I was shook up by this and could not figure out what it was. I again quickly looked to see if there were lights in my car that could be causing the visual images – but again couldn’t find an answer. Finally, as I arrived at my son’s day care as I was about to get out of the car I saw another arc of lights form above the horizon in plain sight. The arc was shaped different – different angle, but behaved the same in terms of the lights “coming on” one at a time with the one just lit the brightest until the next came on. When all were lit - it disappeared at once.

I have lived in the area with my family for the past 18 years and have never seen such lights. I am an organizational consultant and have never seen nor reported anything that I would consider UFO material until now.

I saw two rows of well lit windows suspended over the trees.

I was riding in a pick-up truck on the passengers side. I looked out of the side window and saw an object suspended just above the trees. It was absolutely stationary. The only thing visible was the windows. They were all equally lit. The color of the light was uniform and identical to the color given off by an ordinary incandescent light bulb. There were two rows of windows, one row across on top of another(upper and lower, vertically in line) and approximately 18-20 across. All windows were the same size, about 6-8 feet high by 8-10 feet across. The object was between 150 - 200 feet away. I stared at it intently without even blinking, expecting that I would see somebody come to one of the windows, if I didn't take my eyes off of them. At the same time I was watching, I was yelling at my friend, who was driving, to pull over. I repeated myself very sternly to pull over 4-5 times. He was preoccupied at that very same time searching the middle of the seat for! his tin of chewing tobacco with his right hand, while driving with his left hand and never took his eyes off of the road.So he didn't see it. I couldn't tell him to look because we had just came off of a curve, before I saw what I saw and we were heading for another curve shortly. Also, I think I was just so excited, that the only words that I could get out of my mouth was "pull over" repeatedly. Has we approached the next curve the object became obscured by trees and a house for 2-3 seconds and then we pulled over after that. The place where we pulled over was only about 2-3 seconds past the time that I lost visual contact and the area between where we stopped and where the object had been was totally clear, but it was not there any more. Neither was there anything visible any where in the entire sky. My friend was very irate and asked me what the big emergency was which we needed to pull over for. I told him what I saw and he just seemed perturbed about it and didn't seem! like he believed me. The road is a road that I drive almost e! very day , about a mile and a half from my house. What I saw was akin to seeing a well lit, 2 story, 125 foot long office building floating stationary over a familiar area of trees that would normally be clear of any lights. It was a very clear, very crisp sighting of something very solid and real. I've got to tell you also that I had an immediate thought that crossed my mind as soon as I could not see the object any more and that was, "Could we have just been abducted even though it appears that we never left the vehicle, didn't lose any time, didn't pull over until the object couldn't be seen, and it seems that I was very aware of what I saw before, during and after, exactly as I have explained it here." What I saw sticks with me like glue and it seems to get under my skin more and more as time goes by. The past few years I have searched the internet for pictures and diagrams of objects other people have seen, hoping to find out if anybody else saw the same thing at any time. I came! across the sketch that Barney Hill made of the object that they saw. It looked to me that it was the same thing that I saw, only looking at it from the side.

I drive a truck hauling US Mail. While driving south on highway 61 about 3 miles north of Palmyra, MO, I saw a bright green colored sphere fall in an arc from the west to east and toward the ground. The object appeared very bright and as it fell it the color gradually dimmed until just before hitting the horizon it went black. The object was followed by a bright red tail. The object was about the size of a pea from my vantage point and the ending location was South-South-East of highway 61. The sky was very clear. I've seen falling stars before, and this was no falling star.

Object was seen flying at high altitude above drive in projection screen in the distance.

The movie was boring so I looked up to my left above the screen. I saw a starlike object stationary for 2 minutes which then moved slowly to the right.The object then stopped in mid flight for about a minute. It did this two more times before flying out of sight behind the trees. My friend and I both saw the object while in my car.The object could be seen very well.With fifty other cars at the movie it's foolish to think we were the only ones to see it. It flew right above the screen. The object was a single point of light.
