Driving northbound on Orangeburg rd toward Pearl River passing over the resivpr. We saw an upside down v formation of 4 pairs of orange fire like spheres. The sky was completely clear just after dusk.

They were stationary for the 2 minutes I saw them.

As I drove to get a better vantage point, I passed under tree cover and when I came out within line of sight they were completely gone. I could see into space tonight its so clear. But there was only a distant airplane. Wow.

Strange bright blue object moving erratically through night sky!!

At 4 am, I looked out my bedroom window and seen something strange. I watched for 2 hours trying to figure out what I was seeing. It was bright blue and sometimes flashed to yellow. The object was moving erratically and zig zagging around. I recorded several videos and showed a few people and no one has any idea what it could be. Definitely not anything man made. It also seemed to change from a circular shape to cigar shape and a few times it disappeared completely and reappeared in another part of the sky. It was a very clear night and this thing stood out very brightly. Very interesting!!

A white light descending sideways from the top of the sky to ground in 2 to 3 seconds.

I brought my dog to the back yard to go to the bathroom at night and as soon as we got outside I saw a short red beam ascending, which I discarded because I didn't see it clearly.

After watching the sky for a few minutes I then saw a white light travel from the top of the sky to the ground, descending in 2 to 3 seconds, while comming down sideways, faster than anything I've ever seen travel in the sky.

The light was bright and left no stream and had no tail.

I am skeptical about UFO sightings and stories, but I saw something strange tonight.

red orange and round as if it was a comet. Moved deliberately and changed directions, like it wasnt sure which way to go

Looked like fire, red and orange only. Moved awkwardly from the west, would pause and change direction frequently.

Started to fade out slowly while heading north and then just turned into a black dot as it headed north out of my line of sight. Never seen anything remotely like it before.

No sound. Looked like a fireball.

Changing white to red light that hovered and changed positions in the sky.

My wife was looking at stars out the window and called to me from the other room. There was a object at a far distance blinking white to red to white to red that was stationary. It intermittently was obscured by cloud cover but it kept becoming visible again, however, it would appear in another area of the sky.

At one point I checked "what planes are above me" on my IPhone and all it showed was one 737 in the sky at the particular time.

We observed it in the sky in various locations for over 2 hours before we went to bed. It was too far away to take picture which I tried on 2 cameras. At one point my wife observed another light flying to the ship she described it looked like a "firefly."

Pearl River, La fast moving, SILENT, imperfect circular object, 1 bright light in front surrounded by green/yellow soaring low in sky.

On Monday April 22, 2013 at 11:30PM, the same night of the meteor shower event, was an unidentified flying object appearing low in altitude. In the night sky the moon illuminated much of its light. In addition, the clouds traveled in a fast pace manner in the direction, diagonally, towards this object. For clarity, an x shape could be formed in terms of the clouds and object. Furthermore, this object seemed to be a diamond/imperfect circular shape. A bright white light in the front glowed as it moved toward my direction. It moved at an incredibly fast speed with no sound following. And had a short tail of vapor, not smoke, coming from the back end in the shape resembling a drawn out triangle. This vapor dissipated rapidly. When it approached directly overhead of my view I determined the shape and saw green and yellow lights going around the craft.

I saw a bright, white object flying at a VERY high rate of speed and then suddenly disappear.

I work as an Armed Security Guard in Pearl River, LA. My background is all security-related including 4 Yrs in the US Army as a Military Policeman during which time I've also seen combat. Suffice it to say I've seen alotta things but last night's experience was definately something new.

Last night (09/20/06) I was at the Pearl River Rest Area on Interstate 59 (Southbound) when I witnessed a strange occurrance. I was sitting in my car which was parked facing East. I had my door open for fresh air and was looking to my left (Northward) with a clear view of the sky. I noticed an airplane flying northward and I remember thinking it must've recently taken off from New Orleans Airport as I saw its lights flashing red and white as most do. I was looking at the sky not far above the treeline when I saw it, a BRIGHT white object comming from my left (West) and heading to my right (East) at a VERY high rate of speed.

The best way to descibe the object is, picture a block of round cheese (uncut) and lay it on its side. It was flat across the top and the bottom but curved on the sides. As I said it was EXTREMELY bright and pure white, there were no other colors. What was fascinating about the color was that the white seemed "clear" in that as bright as it was, it wasn't blinding at all. I could clearly define the shape of the object immediately. I watched it as it travelled at a VERY high rate of speed and just as suddenly as it appeared it vanished. The amazing thing about its disappearance is that it did exactly that. It didnt suddenly take off to outer space, or drop behind a treeline. Where the object disappeared there IS no treeline, it simply vanished like it flew behind a curtain. Also of note, the object was travelling parallel to the ground, neither gaining or losing altitude. I have no guess (and guessing is all it would be) as to the rate of speed it was travelling, all I can say is it covered miles in a matter of seconds. The size would be approximate to the 1/2 moon as it appears in the night sky, it was large.

Large yellow bright light observed too low and much to large to be a plane

Driving home from a relative's house we noticed an extremely bright and very large yellow light descending slowly towards the ground over the Lake Tappan Ressovoir. It may have been further then the ressvoir, however, the light observed was much too large and was much too low to be mistaken for a plane. We made a left turn on the next road to proceed towards the area we saw the object, by the time we were in the area we didn't see anything.

Me and four of my friends were in the woods looking for my dog that ran away earlier that day. All of a sudden, we heard a strange noise and then saw an oval-shaped object hovering above us. My friends ran away but I was in some kind of trance. I couldn't move. The next thing I knew, I was laying on the ground and all of my friends were so worried about me. That is all that I remember.

My husband and I saw a UFO in daylight, pretty close.

We were driving east on Veterans Memorial Highway at 5:45 p.m., going about thirty-five miles per hour. Halfway between the Blue Hill Plaza and Lake Tappan we noticed a low flying object to our right (south) traveling at the same speed and direction as we were. Although the roadside was lined with trees, they had no leaves on them yet, and we saw the strange object out the passenger window, through the tree trunks.

At first I thought it was a helicopter but its slow speed and its extraordinary array of lights made me curious. With the object still in sight at an altitude of about 1200 feet I turned right on South Blue Hill Road, and stopped the car. As my wife and I got out to have a better look, the object came to a stop over Lake Tappan and then began to rise slowly.

The viewing conditions were perfect: the object stood out against the clear sky and was illuminated by the low sun (sunset was not until 6:04 p.m.). It was roughly spherical in shape, about 20 feet in diameter.

It had no wings, no rotor blades and though it made no sound, was definitely not a balloon. Its movements were smooth and steady with no wobble or flutter. Its most prominent feature was the amazing number of lights that studded its surface, rapidly flashing bright amber and white in a seemingly random fashion. My wife said it looked like a piece of gaudy junk jewelry. The lumpy spherical body of the object appeared dark in color, not shiny and metallic. At the top center, sticking straight up, was a delicately tapered pole whose length was about one-third that of the object’s diameter. This pole or antenna was topped by a small ball like many a flagpole.

As the object began to rise above the lake, a car stopped in front of ours and a man got out to join us in watching. It was reassuring to our sense of reality (as well as sanity) to know that others were also seeing this spectacle.
The object’s ascent rate appeared slow at first but must have increased because within two minutes it could barely be seen. If my estimate of its size is correct, this altitude would be about 8,000 feet. At this point we and our fellow observer exchanged a few expressions of awe, shrugged, and got back in our cars.

As we were turning back onto Veterans Highway we saw a woman and two young boys standing beside a parked car looking skyward. We stopped and asked what they had seen. The woman said she stopped because the boys had seen something strange but she didn’t know what. The kids had no such uncertainty: they said it was a UFO which went up very high and then went ‘that way (northeast) fast.’

I am a retired research scientist and an experienced observer of nature. I have carried out many scientific studies and observations using Navy research aircraft, Coast Guard helicopters, and a variety of charter aircraft. I can state unequivocally that what we observed was not any natural phenomenon nor was it a known type of aircraft, device or vehicle. The two boys named it correctly: it was an Unidentified Flying Object.
