I live in Rockland Maine. I have been seeing lights above my house at night. A lot of the time I think it could be a star. BUT they seem to have 3 lights not one and will move around..up and down. Over and back. Sometimes moving across sky fast and other times seem to disappear. I have only lived in this house in Rockland for less then a year. Since the beginning of the summer this has happened quite a few times. Tonight I saw 2 Bigger ones then I have in the past couple months. They had 3 Rows of lights..red n yellow or white.. Directly above me and it seemed to drop down and move til gone....the second larger one with 3 rows of lights followed almost Exact SAME PATH. One right after the other. Then behind that 2 more smaller lights. I did not see where in the sky it started from but there was a strange trail of lights near the moon...heading close to where it looked to be coming from. My boyfriend was outside with me. He has also seen these other lights on occasion and these tonight. We have an 8 year old daughter. Have been together for 15 years. We are both in our mid 30s. I have never noticed anything like these lights before. and as people have harsh opinions and are very skeptical I have not yet reported these. Been doing a little research, as well. I, however, continue to see them....and tonight the 2 were larger then before. Or closer. After the second larger one was no longer over head but had dropped down to be closer to the tree line yet further away I saw flashing lights back towards the moon n another right behind that. Maybe they are planes. I don't think so though. Maybe the second set was... I honestly don't know and am going to continue to watch.

No noise and nothing blinking.

Sitting on shoreline, one fireball past, appeared quite low and close.

Minutes later another went by and then immediately 2 followed. All in line.

Bright Strobe Lights Over Rockland, Maine.

This was a flashing object in the sky. The flashes were bright and blue/white light.

The light pattern was irregular but there did appear to be strobes in an irregular fashion. The light being emitted appeared to stay in one spot the entire time.

We thought it might be on a cell tower on the mountain but it was above the mountain in the sky. It almost appeared like this was just above a cloud and was hidden due to the cloud that didn't move.

It was there over one hour.

We did see two other vehicles heading in the direction as well - we weren't the only ones who saw it.

was using the new sky map app for my phone, and looked at a bight star...it didn't appear on the sky map so I was puzzled.

Out of nowhere the light from the unknwn star just dimed 50% and the took off. However I first thought it was space rock falling, but space rock doesn't change directions. It Still has me wondering.

Silver Ball hovering in sky with a commercial plane in the sky above it

Driving on the I-87 on my way to school and their wasn't a cloud in the sky so i noticed a silver ball just hovering in the sky id say about 5000 - 10,000 feet up. at first i thought it was a plane but then a commercial plane passed over it prob about 30,000 feet so i was like whoa what in the world? so i kept watching the road and looking up and in about 20 sec it was gone but the plane above it was still in the sky blowing out jet fuel clouds.

Maine slow moving light

I was standing in my back yard with no lights on. There were some fast moving clouds overhead, but I could see stars clearly. I looked directly overhead and noticed a light as bright and the same scale as Jupiter that was moving very slowly toward the south. After about a minute, the object dimmed and changed direction to the east, then quickly got bright again. It continued on toward the south and again dimmed and changed direction to the east. I thought I saw an outline, a hard black edge, cover the stars, but just for a moment. Then it got bright again and continued to about 2 degrees above the horizon where it faded out.

At first I thought it was a meteor, but it was moving too slowly, and there was no trail. There is an aiport nearby, but there was no sound and no flashing lights on the object. Except for the dimming, it was a constant light. I continued to watch the sky for another couple of minutes, but I did not see or hear anything.

Seen two disks with a bulge on the top like in the movies, watched for about 15 minutes with my dad and they shot off north.

My dad and I witnessed an extraordinary event that left us both frozen in place with astonishment. We were outside in a field when we noticed two disk-shaped objects hovering about 50 feet in the air. These disks had a bulge on top, reminiscent of the classic flying saucers often depicted in movies.

Despite their close proximity, the objects made no sound and emitted no lights, creating an eerie silence that enveloped us. For 10-15 minutes, we stood there, captivated by the sight. Then, suddenly, one of the disks shot off toward the north, flying above the nearby mountains. The second disk followed suit shortly after.

The experience was surreal and unforgettable, and it left us both pondering the mysteries of what it was. Just as a note, it was strange it seemed very quiet almost too quiet we normally hear lots of birds on our property but they all went quiet and there were no animals nearby.

Large Triangle spotted over Mooshead Lake ME

We were on on the dock at the Birches Resort on Moosehead Lake, stargazing with a group of 4 other guests for about an hour. The sky was crystal clear, with no cloud cover and the moon was not visible which made viewing the stars ideal. At around 10:30 PM EST, a very large triangular shaped object began to move very slowly above us, we estimate around 10,000 feet, but it was hard to tell, due to it's size and there was absolutely no sound coming from the craft. The object traveled over Moosehead Lake and as it shrunk from view just across the lake, it began to climb straight up, then it began to reverse direction in an arc like motion and head back in the opposite direction across the lake. There were 3 very large, glowing gold lights on the object that were stationary and no other lights or blinking lights were noticed. The object disappeared out of viewing range once it crossed the lake. This was the most unusual and large flying object any of us had ever witnessed. One of the witnesses flys helicopters and planes and is an expert in aviation and even he remarked that he'd never seen anything like it and could not even guess what it might have been.

UFO hovering for hours over Indian Point Nuclear Reactor -- reported live on local radio (WRKL) with reporter and sheriff's deputies in attendance -- strangely not reported anywhere else afterwards.

I did not witness this myself, but listened to eyewitness live account on local radio (WRKL) while on my way to college in upstate NY. Besides reporter, a number of other people were reported to have watched for hours while a disc hovered over Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant on Hudson River in Buchanan, NY. Reporter watched spectacle from Rockland County side of river with sheriff's deputies in attendance. Reporter relayed details for several minutes live. However, no subsequent reports of this incident arose anywhere else (e.g., major newspapers, etc.). I cannot recall exact date, but it had to be between late August 1985 and May 1986. I believe it was Sept or Oct 1985. (Also, I spent most of my life in Rockland County and heard of numerous other strange sightings -- one in particular was from a friend of my father's who, when walking a dog early one morning in the mid-1970s, saw a very small disc (appx 3 feet dia) hovering over a neighborhood power line transformer "shooting lightning bolts off of it" until it zinged away at high speed. Around this same time my father and I saw a strange reddish light dancing in the summer evening western sky as the sun was setting -- it hovered, drifted downwards, shot up, and randomly moved up and down, to and fro for appx one hour, before shooting off at blinding speed)

Dream of alien attack with "stun" tripod

Not sure if this is anything but a coincidentally shared dream, but while discussing general strange experiences with friends and one of my brothers in the late 1990s I jokingly mentioned that the only thing I had to share was a dream I had had several years earlier that was very, very vivid. In my dream, I awoke in the middle of the night to the sounds of my parents talking very excitedly about something outside the window on the side of our house. (Their bedroom was next to my bedroom - both had windows on the side of the house; my parents' bedroom was in the rear; I shared a bedroom with my brothers in the front of the house; both bedrooms were on the second floor.) I sat up in the bed to listen to what they were saying. My brothers then awoke and asked what was going on. I said I didn't know, but that I heard my parents talking about something on the side of the house, so, since my bed was directly under the side window, I pulled back the blinds and looked out. The night was very bright, like under a full moon on a clear night, and there were no leaves on the trees, so I could see very clearly (as best as one could at night) down to the neighbor's lawn next door and saw there 3-4 "little men" in silver jump suits with head covering pointing what looked like an old-fashioned stand-up tripod camera up towards my parents' window. These did not look like the classic "gray aliens", but were probably only about 4 feet tall, very thin, and had slits for eyes and mouth and two little holes for a nose. They almost looked child-like, or robotic. It seemed they noticed me peering out and swung the "camera" over toward me in the window. I then felt absolutely paralyzed and my vision started to "blue" out, as if I had stared at an old-fashioned camera's flash bulb and now saw nothing but the flash. I then came out of this blindness and paralysis a few minutes later due to my father shaking me. He told me the same thing had just happened to him before I looked out the window and my moth! er had t o snap him out of it. He then yelled at all of us to stay away from the window, and especially don't look into any blue light outside, which we dutifully did. All this time, my mother was trying to call the police but said the phone wasn't working. She seemed to be starting to panic. She then started turning on all the lights and ran downstairs to let our dog out into the backyard. I guess she thought the dog would scare these things away. We all then starting yelling at her to close and lock the door, while one of my brothers was insisting on going out and getting the dog back in the house. Things started getting very panicky - and that's when I woke up with my heart racing. After I relayed this to my friends and my brother, I saw him turn white and start talking to his girlfriend privately. I thought he was concerned that I went off the deep end, but the next day they approached me and told me he had had the same dream - down to every detail. We both got the chills and decided not to talk about it any more.

Military jet pursuit.

Observed object to the east at low altitude, 1500ft. about 15 to 20 degrees above horizon, approximately 1 mile distance, four fingers wide.

Object was four colored, yellow mostly, with small area of white on bottom, left and right ends are red and blue, and would switch depending on direction of travel. In hover, ends would blend to a purple-like color.

Two USMC F-4 Phantoms flew at low level in direction of object, having launched from South Weymouth NAS, Ma. Object seen departing at high angle and speed, with F-4's unable to match speed.
