5:38 am CST, North East sky, well above horizon line. Large haze covered orb, white light, Saw for 2 minutes, no movement, saw a small light come off it, then large orb,quickly descended where I lost sight behind my veiw of site. Ran to the other side of our yard to continue viewing but it was gone.

UNKNOWN OBJECT FLYING IN ELMHURST, ILLINOIS.

It was at about 1 AM when I saw something weird out the window flying. I couldn't tell what shape it was it just had big green and red lights blinking it was going very fast, definitely not a plane. It was going in a circle. Just one.

I went outside and there was no sound. it was nothing I'd ever seen before. Very weird!!!

Intimidating Looking Red Disk Southwest of O'Hare Airport

UFO activity on 18-May-2013 started at about 9:30 PM. My 10 year old son came in from outside and said he was calling me to see a UFO and he filmed it. I saw the video and said OK, lets go outside again and go UFO hunting. About 10:10PM a large RED UFO I could guess about 4,000ft above traveled from S.E. to N.W. on a slight curvature towards the west.

My son had his video camera and filmed it again. I yelled for my wife and daughter to come out and see it. My wife could only say "Holy Crap!" My daughter said looking at it scared her. It was rather large with some sort of energy emanating around it and silent. I've seen things like this before but this sighting was incredible.

I went outside to have a smoke again around midnight before I was going to go to bed and saw it shoot over again at almost lightning speed very close to the rear of another plane. This thing looks very intimidating for some reason.

I would usually never report something like this but it's still zipping around just southwest of O'Hare airport. It looked to be about 4 times the size of a 727 I saw it fly by.

Bright orange cylinder heading east to west. Cylinder shape such as a large lampshade with four bright flames in center. No gondola for passengers. Appeared to be unmanned. About the same altitude that a helipcopter would be traveling. As it passed by, object made a "whooshing" sound. Moved at a moderate pace.

Two lights in the sky and aren't moving. I see stars and compared to the stars they are much closer and brighter. Couldn't tell what it is with binoculars. My friend said he saw them last night also. They can be seen facing the West from my point. Anyone know what the hell are these they aren't planes or helicopters and they don't flash just steady light

Bright white spherical object flying low over Roosevelt Road near Elmhurst, IL

I was driving eastbound on Roosevelt road near york road in my SUV after having dinner with an old college friend. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed what I thought was a very low flying "small air plane, or helocopter). It was very overcast that night and I could see the outline of the large round object through the clouds.

At a second glance, I clearly saw the object's outline (perfectly round and bright white glow). There was light traffic traveling in both directions. I was surprised that the object was flying relatively close to the ground (approx. 300 feet off of the ground; not much higher than the street lights or the tree tops).

The object emmited a solid, bright white light and moved silently in a northwest direction at what speed I cannot say, but was able to keep pace with it and for 30 secs. and keep it in my sight out of the driver's side window.

I called the object to the attention of my passenger, so that I could get a second opinion ! of exactly what the object in question was. The passenger could not identify with any certainty what the object was either. I was not playing the radio, given our close proximity we couldn't hear its sound. That fact surprised us both.

Since I live close to O'hara airport, I am used to hearing and seeing aircraft flying over head. We continued to watch the object until it was no longer in view, as I continued to drive (away from it).

Please know, I'm pretty skeptical about these sorts of things. Although this happened three weeks ago, I haven't forgotten it.

My friend refuses to speak about what we saw.

I just needed to share this experience with others who have encountered something similar.

Fireball object (2 of them) heading west to east at steady rate of speed. No sound emitted from the craft. Another followed behind.

A train had just ended next to the quarry that had completely filled up with run-off water from Salt Creek. Many people were stopped to look at the quarry. We came over the tracks and noticed that everyone was looking upward. We looked upward and there wwere 2 fireball objects passing overhead with another one in the west. Steady speed, no sound at all, no navigation lights. This is exactly the same object that we saw less than 1 month ago on a night with a full moon.

Too fast for a balloon or blimp, too colorful and soundless

Four of us were sitting on our deck and my brother in law saw a very bright object coming at him exactly west. we all watched this orange-red object fly directly west towards Lake Michigan. It looked like it was on fire because of the orange-red so we assummed that it was a meteor. There was no tail. It never varied it's speed. It was flying against the flight patterns of O'Hare Airport. It was following the path of planes very high overhead going cross country, but it was much lower. There were no navigation lights in the front or back of the object. A little while later we saw a satelite and it had a totally different shape and color. The other interesting part of this is we were able to hear airplanes (the engines) all around us and farther away that the object that passed almost directly over us. The object that passed over us had no sound what-so-ever.

4 unidentified objects appeared in night sky in a formation of a "Y" hovering for several minutes.

On July 4th, 2008, in Elmhurst, Illinois at approximately 9:30pm, 4 unidentified objects appeared in the night sky over the adjacent town of Bensenville, Illinois.

At that time, my wife and I were watching the fireworks display taking place several miles to the north. We were sitting on the roof of our house, as in pervious years.

The 4 objects appeared to the east of the fireworks, approximately 1-2 miles at an altitude of approximately 2-3 thousand feet in the air. The formation was in the shape of a "Y." The objects hovered at this location for several minutes, then disappeared.

The objects were not fireworks in the sky. They were physical objects illuminated and hovering for several minutes. This location is 4 miles south of O’Hare international airport. No aircraft would ever be allowed to be that close to each other, especially 4 objects.

I am submitting this report with the hope other people witnessed the objects and will report them as well. No pictures were taken.

A disk like object with glowing lights.

My best friend was going to bed when she heard a loud, whooshing sound, like a helicopter flying too close to your house walls. She looked out her window and she saw flashing lights and a disk like object.

The saucer hovered over a field by her house for a while, then flew over to my house. I too, heard the loud whoosh. She got her parents, but by the time they got up, it had flown off.

This has been a repeated cycle, every night exactly at 9:33 PM, there would be a loud whooshing sound, but then the saucer would disappear.

I was nervous for a while, but then I finally had the nerve to write this report. We are not sure, but this seems like a genuine visitation of extra-terrestrial beings on earth.

I saw three lights in a row and as it got closer, I noticed that itwas not quite round but like the shape of a flod light on its side. looking down on it. It was grey in the front, the body was orangeish and brownish. The lights were yellow- white and then blue tiny lights. There were blue mist like exhaust on each side of it. these were not flames.

I was frightened when I saw this. It traveled from the west to the east. We live near Ohare directly under a flight pattern. It was ablout as high as a plane would be if it were landing at Ohare, on a cloudy day. This was not a plane.

large low altitude motionless and brightly lit triangular object appearing in overcast dawn sky over Elmhurst, NY

I had come home just before dawn and noticed an extremely bright object hanging motionless in the sky as I was walking in my parking area.

At first I thought it was a star or satellite but it seemed oddly low and much too bright in an overcast sky. The few stars I could detect were extremely faint in comparison. I was transfixed by the object which dominated the sky and appeared to be triangular in shape and stood watching it for about 15 minutes. Finally, a neighbor was leaving for work and she also agreed it was an unfamiliar object. I called the FBI but I think they dismissed me as a crackpot. The weird thing is that about 11 hours later a manhole cover exploded on my street and we lost power for a little while. It's just one of those eerie feelings you sense when something is out of context in the world as we know it.

I was looking outside and saw a craft going east. I ran to get a camera, but i was late. Then another appeared but it was to late when my camera was out because the tree and my neighbor's house blocked my view. I left my camera on anyways and caught another object that hovered over my neighbor's house then it disappeared behind it. This one was dark and shadowy in appearance, nunlike the other two I saw that were gray, shiney, and disk shaped. After this I was wanted to see more, but all I could find were helicopters and air plaines.

The one I caught on tape can be found on youtube. It was originally 2 seconds long, but I put it in extremely slow motion.

Bright flashing point of light

I was at my parents house and after watching a movie I went outside to have a cigarette. The sky was clear and I noticed a bright stationary point of light fairly low toward the northeast (much brighter than any visible stars). At first glance I thought it was an airplane on approach to O'Hare as the light was flickering between blue & white with a very random red flash mixed in. After a few minutes I asked my parents to verify that it was flashing and they both confirmed. We all agreed that it must have been a planet and went inside. After a lot of boring researche online, I could not find a reasonable planetary explanation. A couple of hours later it wass gone.
