Lights appeared in the NE, slowly moving towards SW, after pulling over my car to see better, they vanished.

I was on my way home from seeing family, and it was around 9:38 PM. As I was driving, I noticed what looked like the Pleiades star cluster to the North of me. However I thought it was odd, because they were unusually bright white and weren't in quite the right shape. As I continued driving, I noticed that the lights were separating from each other (from my estimate there were roughly ten lights) and they slowly formed a cigar shape. I continued to stare, and started to worry about going off the road, and as I was considering pulling over, I noticed that it seemed to be a single object, and was much closer than I thought it was. It was no more than a few hundred feet off the ground, and by that point it seemed to be about the size of a jetliner, but there were no lights to signify wings, nor any rumbling from a plane that size being so close to the ground. From what I could see, it looked quite angular, and there was a haze cast by the lights. I took my eyes off it for only a moment to pull over, and it was gone. I looked all around to see if maybe there was a light from a nearby residence that perhaps could have reflected off of my windshield, but I couldn't see any. After about 8 minutes of looking, I decided to continue on my way home.

Sphere flying from east with lightning flashes

Yellow/Orange sphere flew in a wave pattern from west to east and landed near the Willamette National Forest. Where it was flying was accompanied by bright flashes of light that lit up the whole sky like a strobe or lightning, yet the sky was clear of clouds. After it landed, we could see the strobe effect, without regularity in timing. We drove towards it but never found it. We watched the continuous strong flashes for the next few hours, and eventually saw a really bright shooting star going very slow in the sky above it. The flashes continued for hours. We eventually went inside. It resembled a lightning ball or plasma storm.

While diving home from Roswell on HWY 285 between dexter and Hagerman two lights appeared to the west first thought helicopters then one darted up and the other went horizontal then reversed right back to their location then two more lights zipped in and they bobbed and weaved doing things normal plans don’t do . I was not in a position to stop my car and could not get to my phone to take a video this went on for 3 minutes give or take then they they darted to the west and were gone . And no flashing or blinking lights I grew up on air force bases.

I saw a bright and pulsing amber light above my garage. It caught my attention because it was too big to be a plane, and was brighter than summer Jupiter. I watched it pulse for a while when I noticed two smaller blinking red lights. It stayed hovering over my garage for a few minutes, then suddenly took off over my house and into the distance. When it flew over my house, it made a sound similar to a low-flying plane, but it was very much not a plane.

Irregular flashes across far southern skyline near Dexter, OR. No near or distant storms.

I was standing on the valley floor of Lost Valley, below the little town of Dexter at the foot of Mt. Zion looking South. The sky was completely clear. The long distance view is amazing, I was outside, scratching my horses back, enjoying the stars late at night.

There were flashes in the sky at irregular intervals just above the southern mountains. I've seen this before but not for so long and then they seemed larger...at first I assumed it was a far off storm moving in. There wasn't any sound associated with the light, my horses were perfectly content and they had been nervous the morning of the Springfield 4.2 earthquake we had recently that shook my house.

When I checked the lightning maps and weather reports, there was no cloud cover or lightning locally or even miles and miles away from us and I've found that report to be quite accurate.

The flashes were too large/widespread to be fireworks and it was too late to be forest blasting plus--there would have been noise. It made me wonder about the reports of light flashes I've read about that appear just before an earthquake.

It illuminated the southern horizon.

I have a background in aviation-groundschool and IFR and know a bit about meteorology, but I can't make a good guess what caused it, so thought to post it here.

I don't think it was heat lightning, I could be wrong.

I was at home where I have kind of a country setting. My cat was in the window and I went over to pet him. I looked out of the window and saw three fireballs, all in a horizontal row. They were as clear as can be, and quite low. Then they just flew across the sky. I went to the window on another wall and saw that they had gone over some trees in the distance. But at first there were only two there. I watched as one deliberately spaced itself on top of, but not touching, the other. The next thing that happened was the third fireball zipped around the corner of the house, also, and then they were all together again, over the trees. Of course, eventually, the trees made it harder to see them, but I could see enough to see that they were still there. I actually got in my car to try to see where they went, but I was so excited, I took a few wrong turns. Finally I saw one in a field off of highway 180, and it didn't appear to be as lit up. I did not see ! the other two, so perhaps they had turned off all lights. I did not have the nerve to try to walk to the one, and so I turned around, went home, and talked about it on Facebook. I had never even heard of fireballs. I had heard of metal saucers. I looked on the internet, and sure enough, the fireballs existed, seemingly more in later years. I really did not want to believe in UFO's, but after what I saw, I have no choice.

2-3 red-white glowing objects pass over neighborhood in Dexter, MI, then vanish

Dexter, MI: Around 22:10hrs on 07/16/2012, my wife (45yoa) and daughter (17yoa) observed (from a second story front-facing window) 3 glowing red-white objects traveling together towards our house from the W-NW (on the horizon over our neighborhood). Our home sits at a higher elevation where one has a view over the neighboring homes from the second story. As the objects passed over our home, the girls ran downstairs and yelled for me to get out on the back deck.

I ran out onto our deck, looked up, and immediately noticed 2 bright red-white glowing objects at about 80 degrees overhead moving silently in a E-SE direction. They appeared to be at about the same altitude but the object on the right was slightly ahead of the other. They held the same spacing as they continued to travel over the treetops away from the house (maintaining the same course).

As they moved farther away, the one on the right seemed to get smaller faster and then disappeared. The one on the left continued to be visible for about another 15 seconds and then also disappeared. Just prior to disappearing, the glow seemed to move slightly in an upward trajectory before vanishing.

The objects were not airplanes as there were several planes visible at the same time in the clear night sky (higher altitudes and different locations). There were no blinking lights, just a constant colored glow. The objects were also extremely large compared to the planes flying beyond them overhead in the night sky.

The objects had a brilliant red/white glow (bright like a flare - but not a flare as there was no trajectory... just a straight steady movement from west of our home, overhead, and then eastward until gone). The light was not from a jet engine as the brilliant red-white glow was the same when the objects moved towards us from the west, over, and away from us towards the east. Both wife and daughter said everything was the same in appearance from the window looking out the front of the house as from the deck on the back of the house... other than at some point over our house the third glowing object vanished.

The size of the objects when I first saw them from the back deck were about that of a quarter held at arms length. As they traversed away from the house towards the horizon, they got smaller to about the size of an an aspirin held at arms length before vanishing.

Shortly after vanishing, beyond where the glowing objects were last seen, I noticed a lighted object streaking across the sky (right to left) at about a 45 degree angle upwards (horizon towards the atmosphere). It was just visible to the eye and I lost track of it behind some trees.

There was no noise associated with the objects. They were definitely closer than any planes but there was complete silence in the air.

Shortly after vanishing, beyond where the glowing objects were last seen, I noticed a lighted object streaking across the sky (right to left or SE towards the N) at about a 45 degree angle upwards (horizon towards the atmosphere). It was just visible to the eye and I lost track of it behind some trees.

Surface wind conditions at the time were 0-2mph and temps in the low 80s. The sky was clear with no moon. No urban lights behind our home (woods).

I am not crazy or paranoid. This incident really freaked me out.

I was walking through our neighborhood about 7:30 in the evening. The sky was clear with lots of stars are airplanes flying. I noticed a bright single light in the western sky not far outside our subdivision. The light first appeared to not move like a satellite. It was obvious the light was not a star. I started to notice it moved in the direction I was walking. I would walk down the hill and it moved with me as I’d come back around the loop toward the top of the hill it would be at that point and then move with me again down the hill. Then (really freaky) when I walked up our driveway it came toward the house like it was getting a closer look at where I lived.

White, Blue and Red Flashing Light In Sky Over Dexter, MO

I have noticed in the sky late evening to early morning for the past two nights. I brought it to my wife's attention and she began to notice the object appeared to be changing colors. The object was so far away that we couldn't be sure if it was mobile or stationary in the sky. It did appear to slowly ascend. Yet we were sure it was flashing colors of white,blue and red repeatedly. I got out an old cheap telescope and we still could not clearly perceive the exact shape of the object but we could certainly tell the lights were moving in circular motion. Through the telescope we noticed several colors including: red, white, yellow, green and blue. They were all flashing and moving in a blur. This object could actually be between Dexter and Sikeston. It's difficult to tell it's exact location. It is much too high to be a tower. It can not be a helicopter or a plane. It can't be a planet because there is multi-colors and there is movement of the colors. I do not! take any drugs nor have I been consuming any alcohol. I have been up late each night because I'm on vacation. I do not suffer from insomnia nor have I ever been diagnosed with any mental illness of any kind. We are just normal people that noticed a strange flashing light in the night sky.

Star like object flying across horizon in Dexter, MO.

I was driving west bound on US highway 60 approaching the city of Dexter, MO. We watched a bright light, what appeared to be a star come out of a tree line. It then slowly crossed the highway. It appeared t be hovering once it crossed highway for about 30 seconds before flying off.

It flew away rather slowly and made zero noise. The light it gave off appeared to glow as if it were a star. I was able to capture a couple still photos of object and a 59 second video clip with my iPhone 4.

I'm extremely curious as to what this is. I've always been a skeptic of most UFO sightings but I have never seen anything like this. Would love to have a logical answer to what this was.

It appears to be a star except the fact it was flying across horizon. Also when I took still images, it appears in the shape of a saucer standing up on its side.

I'm more than willing to share my photos with you.

12/11/09 Dexter, Michigan 20:00 hr 4 lg brightly lit objects moved E to W across the N. horizen, NO SOUND able to turn instantaneously

~ 8pm (EST) December 11, 2009, in Dexter Michigan – (very north Washtenaw county) Weather: clear & cold 15degrees F Four large air ships, lit up with bright lights (more like lights would be on a ship than an airplane), moved across the north sky close to the horizon from east to west. There were other aircraft in the area, but they appeared much smaller and farther away. The speed seemed moderate - steady and smooth.

The first one moved across the horizon and then out of sight followed by the next one and then a third and finally a fourth. (about 10 minutes entire duration) *The last one reversed directions and returned east and then northeast, until it disappeared. *it did not turn like an airplane, both turns were instantaneous and there was absolutely NO SOUND! The most profound thing about this incident was that none of the objects made any sound!! We live in a rural area and can hear aircraft from miles away.

We will mail a diagram of the lights we saw, including in the drawing the horizon and a moon for better idea of we witnessed.

We were unable to find anyone else that also witnessed these crafts.

Sighting on September 6th 2007 Dexter MI I was coming home from work at 1:00am traveling east on I-94 toward Ann Arbor when I noticed off to my left a group of several quite rapidly strobing red lights. These were perhaps at 2000 feet and moving very slowly.

I turned onto 14 heading north and again observed the cluster of strobing red lights, and as I did so I saw a smaller, bright white light separate from the group of red lights and travel at high speed in the opposite direction of it’s course, back toward Ann Arbor. It was quickly lost to my sight, so I looked back at the cluster of red lights while trying to stay on the road.

I should have just pulled over and got out to watch, but this was an unusual thing to see, and I was so absorbed in it that I didn’t think of that at the time. As I watched the group of red strobing lights moved slowly in seeming increments along I-94 in a westerly direction and about a mile north of the freeway.

As I continued on 14 I lost sight of it. I considered the smaller bright white light that had come out of it and the speed at which it had left, it’s lack of any navigation lights, and thought that perhaps the two observed objects were not ours.

Of the cluster of rapidly strobing red lights I observed that it in no way complied with our standard aircraft lighting conventions, there were only red lights, and the rapid strobing also is not something one of ours would do, and the acceleration of the small bright white lighted object was quite beyond anything we can do with a manned aircraft, so all of this was pretty non-conventional.

Things like this keep life interesting. I’m glad to have seen it.

Double cone travels northeast to southwest from over Eugene, OR. toward south of Oakridge, OR area at 3:30

I was watching a burn pile with my dog beside me ( I was laying on my back about 8' from the fire looking up watching shooting stars) and noticed him looking up at the sky to the west. I looked once and saw nothing then noticed him looking up again. I looked up and saw a object that seemed more like two cones fat sides together (roughly diamond shaped from directly below) moving steadily across the sky. There was a steady white light from the center and I also noticed as it traveled across my view (from west to east) twice a sort of light purple wave (sort of like a corona) flash away in different directions from the craft. It made no sound that I could hear but my dog could obviously hear it. It was seemingly pretty high (mile???) but it's shape was still obvious so it must have been pretty large (guess of more than 100' from tip to tip??) It dwindled out quickly to the east (did not disappear behind a mountain, just suddenly dwindled) and that was it. It was very obviously not an aircraft (light because I could discern it's shape and there was no noise.

Frist I thought there was a field on fire. Then I noticed an bright object maybe 500 ft. off the ground. I ran to my truck and got a camera. It projected light without projecting. I grabed my spotlight without thinking and hit it. It went up like a rocket and was completly silent.I got 14 seconds of vidieo and 9 or 10 pictures.

we saw an object in the air that went slower than an airplane and then went faster than the blink of an eye.

well it was at my step brothers house. we were all out side and we saw an object in the sky. it was moving real slow. slower than any air craft could. it came toward a barn . when it reached the barn it slowly turned around. then in a blink of the eye it was gone. i have never seen anything like it. i didn't really believe in ufo's till that night. i truely believe what i saw was an alien aircraft. the object was a disk shape. it had bright white lights all around it. there was only 1 of them in the air that we saw.

It was treetop level and only 100 yards or less away

Driving to work early in the morning, it was still dark outside. When I was about a mile or so from the local airport I noticed a bright light, brighter than I remember the beacon light to be. I drove on not paying it much attention, assuming it was the airport beacon. As I neared the airport, approximately 1/2 mile away, I noticed that there were two lights present. There was the beacon and there was another, brighter light just behind and to the side of the beacon light. When I got to the point where the unidentified light was I was able to determine that it was a UFO. I pulled to the side of the road and got out and stood by the side of the road looking at the craft. It was just above the level of the trees, about 60 feet off the ground and it was less than 100 yards away. I was saucer/ elliptically shaped, with bright white and other colored lights around it and underneath it. It was making absolutely no sound. It was about 100-200 feet in diameter. As I was watching another vehicle drove by on the road which did not stop. I would guess the object hadaa height of about 20-30 feet. After watching it for about 1-2 minutes, I glanced down the road to see if another vehicle was coming so that I could possibly stop the vehicle and get a witness (no vehicle was coming) My head was only turned for one or two seconds. When I returned my gaze to the area of the UFO, it was gone. I t never made a sound and when it left it must have left quite quickly and it MUST have known I was watching it, so I am under the impression that it waited until my gaze was averted before it left.

large saucer shaped object with many colored lights, very close to me

Driving to work near at 5:30 AM passing the Dexter, NY airport. I saw a bright light in sky, assumed it was the airport beacon. As I got nearer, I was able to see two distinct, separate lights, one which was the beacon. I got even closer and could see that this object emitting the light was about 1/4 mile past the airport and somewhat in-line with the airport beacon due to my perspective.

I passed the airport and neared the object and could clearly see it was a UFO. I stopped adjacent to its position alongside the road and exited my vehicle to better observe it. The object was large and saucer shaped with bright lights of different colors along its outer rim and on top and bottom. The object was approximately 150' or more in diameter, and approx 10-20feet in height, and was stationary just above tree level and less than 100 meters from my postion.

I got a very good look at it. The profile of the object was 'eye' shaped but it was round. It made no! noise nor disturbance. I watched it for a minute or so.

I heard another car approching from the east and looked to see if the vehicle was going to stop. I returned my gaze to where the UFO was and it was gone. It was only about two seconds that my gaze was averted.

craft was close, silent, brightly illuminated, and appeard to be examining the local airport.

craft was hovering soundlessly about fifty yards from the road just above treetop. It had lights of green blue white yellow underneath, on the sides and on top. I observed it from a few miles away and pulled over when abreast of it. I exited my vehicle and observed it for approximately one minute. It was only about sixty yards from me on the diagonal. It made no noise. It was about 150-200 feet in diameter. I glanced away for a second or two as I saw a car in the distance in my peripheral vision. when I returned my gaze to the crafts location, it was gone. It made no noise whatsoever and virtually 'disappeard'.

Object was at tree level, approximately 200 feet in diameter and made no noise.

I was approaching the Dexter, NY airport early in the morning on my way to work. It was dark. From about a mile away I saw a bright light at the airport. I passed it off as just being the beacon. When I got closer I was shocked to see that there were two separate sources of light, one being the beacon and the other being unidentified. When I got to the precise area where the light was, which was about 1/4 mile from the airport beacon, I saw the object producing the light. It was about 100 yards away from me at a position just above the tree tops. I had a very good view of the craft. I exited my truck and stood at the side of the road observing it for approximately 1 minute. It was saucer shaped but had flat sides which did not come to a point. It was approximately 200 feet in diameter and had bright lights around its peerimeter and on to and bottom. The lights varied in color from green to blue to white. It made absolutely no noise. As I watched it I made a decision to leave the road to attempt to get underneath the craft as it was only 100 yards away. I heard a vehicle coming down the road and looked in that direction to see if they were going to obvserve the object and slow down or stop. I was only looking in that direction for a second or two and when I turned my head to watch the object again, it was gone. It had made no noise at any time. As I forgot to mention its height, which was about 20 to 30 feet.

IN 1974, A FRIEND AND I WERE ON OUR WAY HOME. WE STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN. I LOOKED OUT THE WINDOW AND SAW A UFO. SHE ALSO SAW IT.

IN APRIL OF 1974,IT WAS 11:00 P.M., I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS STILL IN SCHOOL AND THAT WAS MY CURFEW WITH MY PARENTS. WE WERE ABOUT 2 BLOCKS FROM MY HOME AND STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN. I LOOKED OUT THE PASSENGER WINDOW OF THE CAR (I WAS IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AND MY FRIEND WAS DRIVING), I SAW A DISC SHAPED CRAFT WITH A DOME ON TOP. THE CRAFT WAS ABOUT 50 FEET IN THE AIR HOVERING OVER A TREE TOP AND MAYBE 100 FEET FROM US. THE DOME HAD BRIGHT LIGHTS OF RED BLUE YELLOW GREEN AND WHITE FLASHING AROUND AND AROUND THE DOME. THE CRAFT APPEARED TO BE SILVER METALLIC. I TOLD MY FRIEND TO LOOK AND SHE SAW IT TOO. I OPENED THE CAR DOOR AND SO DID SHE, SO WE WERE BOTH STANDING OUTSIDE THE CAR WATCHING IT. THERE WERE OTHER CARS ON THE STREET THAT WE HAD TO STOP FOR, BUT IT SEEMED LIKE NO ONE ELSE NOTICED IT BUT US. BUT IT WAS SO BRIGHT AND COLORFUL, LIKE A CARNIVAL RIDE LIT UP AT NIGHT. THE CRAFT MADE NO SOUND AT ALL. IT FINALLY JUST ROSE UP HIGHER AND DRIFTED SIDEWAYS TILL WE COULDN'T SEE IT ANYMORE.THE ODD THING IS THAT WE DIDN'T TALK ABOUT IT AND I TOLD NO ONE AND I DON'T THINK SHE DID EITHER. IN 1976 I SAW THIS FRIEND AGAIN AND I SAID "DID WE SEE WHAT I THOUGHT WE DID?" SHE SAID "YES, WE DID" AND THAT IS ALL WE SAID ABOUT IT. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO MENTION THAT IT WAS A UFO TO HER, SHE AUTOMATICALLY KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THREE MORE SIGHTINGS IN THAT GENERAL AREA, BUT THEY HAVE BEEN YEARS APART AND ALL THE CRAFT ARE DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER. I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM THERE BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE TO CALL IF YOU DO SEE ONE AND THERE ARE NO MILITARY BASES ANYWHERE NEAR THERE.

I was thirteen then. My grandmother, mother and I were having an ice cream in the car outside a diner. About 45-50 degrees south we saw a silver sphere that appeared about 1/2 mile away. It was glistening from the sun hitting it. It was a clear day. Suddenly, the object shrunk up and disappeared completely. The sighting lasted about one minute.

A glowing type orb or fireball landed in our back field

On a monday night I was in bed and woke to my mom and dad talking about a ship in the back field. My dad told my mom she should put coffee on so if they came up we could have a cup . I ask who and my mom said the guys from the ship . I asked what people and was told the ones from the ship , I asked where were they and saw told the back field. I went to the window on the side porch , and saw what looked like a glowing orb or fireball . It was in the back field , behind our barn about 150 yards away . The next day I woke up and found I had missed school , my mom and dad were death on me going to school . I was just a bit confused and even more so when I found my dad was still home . He never missed work !
