Was taking my evening walk and noticed a great deal of air traffic all over the sky. One pulsating circle captured my attention as it was stationary. I thought it maybe a Helicopter until I ran in the house to grab my binoculars. It was this crazy pulsating multi colored lights that was shifting to the north, then it would stop..then shift again. It was so low it started to wig me out. It was huge, not a drone. I can't imagine it was a satellite so low, right above the houses. Then it ascended and disappeared.

Stripped light formation, shaped like a bird, moved in waves across the sky

At night, this light formation flew across the sky, across the marina parking lot and towards the water, a height that was above the lampposts, at an even pace for about 30 seconds until it faded away, It looked lifelike except that all you could see was light and shadow in a stripped pattern. It was shaped like big bird wings, but bigger than any bird I’ve ever seen on Long Island. The way it moved was bird like too, but slower, and wavelike, almost like a swimming motion. It was not easily visible, it was almost camouflaged by night, the dim striped lights exposed it.

When I first saw the wavelike light formation. I tried to make sense of it, maybe it is a bird, white with shadows but it just didn’t make sense, how is the light so perfectly striped across this wing like formation. the only other light around were lamppost, they wouldn’t have that effect. Also I should be able to see, know and recognize a bird, it wasn’t that far away from me, and I was focusing on it for half a minute until It eventually faded with some distance. The things that were obvious includes the stripped light, the slow/even wave like motion, and bigger than a seagull. it’s something I’ve never seen before, something I was surprised, confused by immediately, and tried but couldn’t make sense out of.

What appeared to be a stationary star its light intensified brightly & then got dim as it moved with incredible speed across the sky

8/16/17 23:07 I was looking up between the Vega and Hercules. (I was sky watching) Whatever it was it was stationary between them. It looked just like a star at first, but what caught my eye was the fact that its light intensity was fluctuating at around five to six seconds intervals.

I thought at first it was probably the atmosphere causing the light fluctuation. It did this for approximately 30 seconds. But suddenly it got incredibly bright and it appeared to be getting larger and changing shape slightly as the light intensified.

It slowly started moving to the east while its was intensely bright. Then approximately three seconds later, it got dimmer and its speed suddenly increased to an incredible speed across the sky in the same direction. I lost site of it over the horizon.

a ball of light but as you got closer their were 3 lights and you can see it was a disc. It was moving left to right very slow and made absolutely no noise.

two fireballs seen flying over Bay shore neighborhood

We were in our back yard when 2 orange glowing discs appeared over my husbands shoulder. At first I thought it was a firework,and said to him..."what is that". They were over our tree tops sound less. It was as if they were racing each other. They were not flying in straight lines. We both would not have believe the other, so we were thankful we both saw it. Neither one of us has ever seen anything like that before.

Two sightings in two weeks over Bay Shore, NY

There were two events this month I witnessed while looking at the stars and smoking on my second floor deck, which overlooks the Great South Bay: The first event, September 13th or 14th at approximately 11pm, I witnessed a formation of maybe five or six white lights that appeared to shoot up and down, in angular NE, NW, SE, SW patterns almost dive-bombing into each other. They stayed in one general area and I watched for a few minutes before going inside and locking the door!

The second event, last night (September 17th) at approximately 12am, I witnessed three red blinking lights flying very quickly across the sky. They were separated several miles apart from one another and all three had very rapid red blinking lights. It appeared that they would shoot to the East, hover for a moment, drop and move in another direction. I called my boyfriend outside and to witness this sighting and he laughed at me for being concerned! Apparently, he has witnessed several sightings while camping with his family and is comfortable with the fact that "there's always things flying around out there". If they are curious and kind I see no reason to be afraid, but I have seen too many movies to not be fear the worst first!

Strange red lights over Bay Shore

While coming home from work driving east on Sunrise Highway in eastern Bay Shore, I saw what appeared to be a hovering helicopter in the northeast sky. It looked to be over maybe Islip Terrace or so....

I made the next exit onto a side street to see the helicopter, but it was blocked out by trees. Instead, going northwest towards Brentwood and Commack, I saw a pair of red lights side by side. They looked pretty far apart, so if they were on airplane wingtips, either the plane was very large, or flying very low.

I had gotten out of my vehicle by this point and heard nothing. I also saw no other lights between them to suggest any kind of airplane I've ever seen (like a tail light or something). It kept moving away from me at a pretty fast pace and faded from view in the northwest sky.

My friend and I were in the backyard next to the fire. I looked up and next to the moon I noticed a round whitish silvery object. I said. Is that Venus? the Planet? he looked up and asked where I said there, to the left of the moon past the clouds passinig by vertically. They were stratus clouds. I got up and moved and when I returned he said. "It disappeared." it must have been a ufo.

I did not believe in them before but now I do. We kept looking up and it did not come back. It was very very high in the sky. it looked like a dot next to the moon.

1 triangle UFO it was night time but you could tell the craft was triangle shape it was very large and it had only one light at the center it was red in color but it wasn't very bright it just hovered in the sky moving very slow it almost looked like it wasn't moving as I ran closer it scared me because it looked like it was coming my way so I would stop my sister was with me and was saying omg we ran away it was massive there was no wind just a very low humming sound it just moved from south to north I didn't follow I never reported it till now but I never forgot it .

Before this incident there was one prior I reported it to United States Air Force UFO don't remember the rest but they were located in nyc I was asked to come in twice but I was scared I told the man that I wanted to be anonymous and didn't want to be a ginnie pig for experiments But it this case I felt lost time and I sat on the bed I saw a glowing light out the window when I went to turn to look it left a so fast that it looked like a streak of light I was confused for a few seconds then I decided to look out the window to see if I could hear anything unusual and heard all the dogs barking from the neiborhood.
