I saw what originally I thought was a satellite traveling from the southwest to the northeast. There were no blinking lights.

Video pretty much says it. Silent white bright object with no blinking lights moving from SW to NE.

Location details: I was located on my back porch at 8 Fellows St in Unadilla.

Saw very bright, large-ish dot that collapsed to smaller dot and disappeared

I was on my back porch after having added a potato skin to my compost tumbler. I noted the odd weather, which has been threatening storms all day, but it has not actually rained yet. It is eerily dark outside and feels oppressive, probably from the high pressure system moving in. I walked back up on my porch and turned around to look back out over the yard and I saw a bright light, a warmish shade of bright bright white, brighter than anything else in the sky or around me. It was not terribly far or high, and looked like it might be over the river or just past it, and not even as high as the hill behind it. (Crane Hill, Unadilla). It was, from my perspective a bit smaller than the moon would look. It held for just a moment and then shrank down into a smaller dot, perhaps half its original size with no change in brightness or color. Then it simply vanished.

Watched very low object pass in front of my house...was very bright and emitted a pulsind white light...approx speed at 800 mph... slight low grinding sound....passed to left, with what looked as if with a propellant vapor...as it continued, it appeared to burst into a shower of white haze...I also noticed a blue haze on the crafts bottom

String of Lights over Unadilla MI

July 2, 2010 Unadilla MI.

After coming home from the movies between 10:30 and 11 pm, I was out to close up the chicken coop when I heard a bunch of coyotes yelping out in the woods. There were getting quite loud and I was saying to myself, sounds like they fighting.

Then all of sudden they quit it and it became very quiet and that’s when I noticed some very bright red lights coming up from the tree line in the southeast over Unadilla or Josilin Lake.

First, I saw three then six to eight flying like they were attached to each other on a string. I ran in to get my daughter and wife to see what I was seeing, by then they were higher in the sky (30 to 40 degrees E) when they started to fade into the night sky. After a moment of two they were all faded. I waited for another five minutes to see if I could hear any engine noise thinking that they were helicopters the way they were flying.

I was in the Air Force for a few years and this is the only aircraft that could fly in this manner.

There were no sounds of any type of aircraft what so ever. I would like to know if anyone else had seen this odd light show.

breath taking view

i live in the country on mountain clear open view of valley and hills around beautiful clear night, saw what i thought was shooting stars, then many all over, thought i truly was seeing things then i saw in clear view about 30 feet away. a very large disk shaped stopped over trees then split into four separate ships they flew off then stopped as in covering a square of the sky i then saw them shooting beems of light onto the ground i went in to get camera and tried to wake up husband he thought i was nuts of course and stayed asleep lol grabbed camera took pics but none came out at all. it continued for an hour i sat on the porch in awe it was like watching movie. talked to my friend next day she was over the hill from me saw similar thing she also said there was a meteor shower. i did not call this sighting in for obvious reasons but honestly while watching i felt no fear just amazement.

Cigar shaped object flying above cirrus clouds

It was a March day ,light winds, high cirrus clouds, sunny. I walked from my house to another building at my farm. When I entered the threshold of the doorway I stopped, turned around 180 degress, and looked straight up, why I did this is puzzeling , because then at that moment I saw a silver cigar shaped object, flying above the cirrus clouds at twice the speed of a commercial jetliner at that altitude. There were no wings, no con trail, the cigar shaped object flew from the north due south. I observed this object for about 20 seconds as it clearly was visible in and out of the cloud openings. I know cirrus clouds are usually about 30,000 feet. so I know this cigar shaped object was very large.
