In the skies at night we were star gazing when we noticed that the stars were moving and changing color. They were lower to the ground

Since the summer we thought they were stars but we noticed they move and change size shape and color and look like they are hovering lower to the ground. When you zoom in they spark, change shape and color and hover in the sky and they move along the sky like how stars move over the night period. But they look different.

Object above contrails (+30,000) changing shape and traveling slowly East, North-East to and over Las Vegas.

At approximately 10:15 hours, Pacific time on 10/27/2018 while camping on the Jean Dry Lake Bed in Sloan NV (just outside of Las Vegas) I was watching the air traffic to and from LAS. I noticed a bright, seemingly stationary ball which appeared to be at or above the 30,000' mark (over the contrails of passing jets)

I grabbed my Nikon D5200 DSLR with a 200mm lens and took ~200 photos in both .jpeg and .nef. The object, to the naked eye, appeared spherical. However, upon reviewing the images, it seemed to change shape from spherical to that of a cylinder with 3 to 4 separate sections, to that of a boomerang shape. The object was traveling East - North East towards southern Las Vegas. Apparently, NWS launched a weather balloon at 0851 hours - however, this was an hour later, and the object was traveling towards Henderson, not away from it. I and another adult observed the object for approximately 10 minutes until it gained altitude and was no longer visible. I have 186 .nef photos of the object.

Green light that darted and manuevered in amazing ways and large amounts of falling stars, etc.

We were camping off the Colorado River, in a very secluded area, on private land. You know how much better you can see the skies when you are in an area like this. There were no campfires or such, just a few battery powered lanterns, so it was really dark.

We noticed this greenish light in the sky. It would just hover, then it would dart off really fast (like a fish), and then would stop. It would then move in ways that no known aircraft or anything that I know of could move. It would move really slow, then dart, then completely change directions instantaneously.

We watched it do this for hours, as it would always return to about the same area. There was also at least 20 falling stars that night. There also were things that looked like falling stars, but would go strait up or across instead on down.

We also saw a quick two flashes like lightning, but it was not lightning. They happened in succession, really fast. There was never any more after that.

The light in the sky kept making off patterns and turns that I have never seen acheived before by any aircraft or satellite. It was very strange.
