4 disc lights evenly spaced going in circle movent but not moving then as a whole while began traveling slowly

At 10:50 pm, I stepped out side my house to throw garbage out in trash can, and decided to pick grapes on my fence in front of my house. I turned around and looked up to the sky towards my neighbor's home looking for the big moon that was present this past week. It was somewhat cloudy, but I noticed between my home and my neighbor's house 4 disc-shape objects hovering fairly low, as they appeared large, unlike stars. All were whitish/very pale tinted bluish in color and the 4 disc were traveling in a circular motion and all the disc were evenly spaced.

They were not who is very much into UFO sightings and emailed him and them called channel 12 news to see the same. The man at the station took my information and number and said someone will call me. I asked traveling any way and just circulate. I walked to the middle of our homes to view it better and I was trying to figure out if it were spot lights of some sort from a local park or something else but after approx 3-4 minutes the whole formation began to move slowly towards the back of mine and my neighbor's home between our houses, at which time I ran into my home to get my camera and iphone and ran back out to the front of my home and it was gone.

I proceeded to run toward the back of my house in the back yard to see if I could see anything but nothing was noted.

I then checked a bit on line to see if any sightings were reported on long island but found someone him did anyone else call he said no. I then wanted to check the internet for the same reason and came across your website and called you where you directed me to write what I saw and send it to you.

Three orange lights in the shape of the big dipper, then 2 more came into view.

I was driving down Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, NY at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night September 18, 2010. I was heading east and right past Underhill Blvd I saw 3 orange lights in the sky in the shape of the big dipper. I thought it was cool that I could see it and then realized that it isn’t the big dipper!

Then 2 more came into sight. I pulled over to the left in a parking lot and got out of the car to look. They were moving slowly in the same pattern – the 3 of them and the 2 trailing. They were bright orange, not flashing.

Three men came out of a restaurant and I asked them what they saw and they said “I guess it’s a plane” I said are you sure, they said no, but they don’t know what it could be. It had to be about 10 minutes since I first saw them and then they slowly went out of sight towards the North sky. There might have been a glow around the edges. I took out my phone to take a picture, but the parking center sign was too bright. It was ve! ry cool!

bright blue light over Long Island, moving then stopped then dissapeared with pictures

facts are as follows....

1...flying object was under control of inteligent decision-making life...it moved left to right then stalled for at least 4 minutes, then dissapeared in the blink of an eye

2...singular blue light, not blinking, not pulsing, no other aircraft, no tall buildings in that area or in that direction. I live 10 minutes from there so its an area i am very familiar with.

3...Pics were taken in the parking lott of Roosevelt Field Mall facing east...if needs be i can provide exact location(parking spot) for your investigation if you feel necessary. I was parking in the last spot in the row so its easy to get proper perspective and backdrop for analysis

4...was not that far off in distance, weather was overcast and rainy so long distance sight was not an option

5...broad daylight as you can see by attached pictures so other witnesses are potential.

my neighbor and i saw a flat rec. shaped thing flip floping in one spot was it something from the twin towers? that same day i saw something with my husband at the beach... a reflective object in one spot not moving .i am a artist, my husband is a pilot, my neighbor is a cop.

We saw a unique glowing disc moving in an erratic pattern that appeared to be a true UFO in the skies of Long Island.

My wife & I are educated professionals who were driving northbound on the Wantagh Pky in Nassau County,Long Island,New York on Friday evening. It was a clear cool night & as we approached Hempstead Tpke.I noticed what appeared to be a glowing disc. I must admit it appeared to be very similar to those I have seen on TV documentaries about UFO's. There was a light emiting from the top downward to create the shape of the saucer. The color of the light was whitish blue. I pointed it out to my wife who also had the same reaction of awe as I did. I noticed that it wasn't moving in a straight line. First it moved toward the east,then slightly north,then ultimately westbound un- till we lost it behind some trees. Beacuse of its appearance and movement,we knew it couldn't have been a plane,heliocopter or even a blimp. I assumed it would be clearly seen by thousands & checked the Saturday & then Sunday newspaper,Newsday,which is the largest on Long Island. They said no one had reported it & since it had passed,they were not interested. I should call only at the moment I see it. I still plan to check the Long Island TV station-Channel 12 to see if they had any calls. I have to believe that many saw this as well but possibly were embarresed to call.

6 or so white lights forming triangle slowly and silently traveling North over parking lot.

While working at a retail store (Crazy Eddie) carrying out a TV for a customer, I noticed 6-8 white lights that formed a triangle shape flying North (away from me). It was moving slowly and silently. Originally I thought it was either a blimp or small planes but after I finished with the customer I continued looking up into the distance and questioned myself. I went into the store and brought out my manager (Rob) who also saw it. Eventually the lights moved off into the distance and Rob and I went inside and called the local airport with questions and eventually the local newspaper. The following day I checked the newspapers and sure enough many people reported sightings. But, I did not agree with what other people reported. Other people said they saw blinking lights, and that’s not what I saw. The lights I saw were constant.

Sighting April 14, 1967

April 14, 1967: I was driving West on the Northern State Parkway when I noticed lights in the sky ahead of me, moving slowly in a line and traveling from South to North (left to right). I continued driving until I was past the Post Avenue exit and almost under the lights, then pulled onto the soft shoulders. There were dozens of cars parked, with people all looking skyward.

I have no idea how many "lights" there were since I did not see the beginning of the line, but I did observe at least 8, which were yellow-orange in color and emitted no noise. An odd thing at the end of the line occurred: the object that was second from last moved out of position, passed the one in front of it, and got back in line, thus becoming the third from the end.

The next day I contacted MacArthur Field, and the Suffolk Air Force Base who claimed they had heard nothing. The local Police Department, however, said their phones were "ringing off the hook."

On May 9, 1967, I contacted Project Blue Book, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio, giving pertinent information in detail and received a 7 page form to be filled in and returned, which I did.

I received a letter from Major Hector Quintanilla advising me that I was watching "an aircraft with an electrical advertising sign." Note my second paragraph, last sentence about the object that changed position. Also, if it were an aircraft, it would have had to be tremendously large.

It’s been over 40 years since the sighting and I have never learned what it was that I saw.

Object travelled silently around 60(?) MPH.At arms length about fist size-Multi colored and "evaporated".

When I was about 9 yrs. old I was playing "combat" w/ my 2 younger brothers and a friend in our backyard.I looked up at the sky and beheld an elongated egg shaped craft that had 3 dayglo colors that blended into each other.It was pink,orange & light green with tint red lights on the bottom of it. I banged on the kitchen window calling frantically,"Mom,Dad come to the window and look at outside!" Mom was first and called my Dad.They both looked out and saw it.It seemed to be surrounded by a "mist"-i.e. it wasn't clearly defined.It arced from the west and "evaporated" in the east over we believe Roosevelt race track.Our friend "Little Jimmy" ran home crying & screaming knocking over our garbage cans in the process.Honestly I don't remember the exact date.It was however Summer & it MIGHT have even been 1966.But to the best of my recollection it was 1965.Ellison Ave.seperated our backyard from Carle Place which we faced.This UFO was silent.

Father Mother and son in car stopped in middle of street to see a saucer with lights around the rim hovering above their house.

Driving home on election night in L.I. N.Y. 1960 my father spotted something as we turn into our neighbourhood, he raced to our house, above it was a saucer shaped object with lights blinking different colors around the rim, about 40 - 50 ft.up, hovering for about a minute without any sound, it then move across the street for a few seconds and sped off. My father and mother and I would love to know what we saw that day just before dark. My father says he saw windows as if there was a room inside. This was a close encounter. He also had been telling us that he saw one in the distance while driving in Queens N.Y. around 1957. He aligned the object with a pole as it was still and then it shot off in super speed. Of course my mother would always scoff when he told that story untill we all witnessed this one.
