Pulsating ball of light over mount Sinai, NY; takes off in an instant.

Woke up to use the bathroom. I look out my back window and through the trees I see a bright ball of pulsating light. I just stared at it because at first I thought it was the moon or a bright star. But it seemed different because of how much it was pulsating or going from dim to bright. It also seemed to be slowing moving around in sort of a small circle. It would appear stationary if you just glance at it but when I looked closely it was making small movements. Then in an instant, it took off to the right from nearly stationary to just gone!

I've never seen anything like it in my life! Was a pale yellow light that dimmed and brightened.

A large orange colored round object traveling west to east at a high rate of speed.

We observed one round orange colored object traveling west to east. The object was high in the night sky. We saw nothing but a steady orange light. It crossed the sky in a straight line. It was traveling at a high rate of speed.

There was no sound as the object passed overhead. It took less than 2 minutes from horizon to horizon.

Making a comparison, a star would be the size of a dime, this object was larger than a silver dollar.

Vertical disk shaped craft with red/white light very low scanning area

It was a few days after hurricane Irene and the earthquake. It was just past sunset.

My wife and I go for walks normally at this time. This evening as we were walking my wife Saw an object moving very slowly and very low (150 feet).

The object was unlike anything reported anywhere else. It had a large red light on the front of it which was also white in the center and it was diamond shaped.

There was a vertically oriented disk that the light was mounted to.

This craft of approximately 15 feet in diameter moved at a constant rate of about 3 meters per second from right to left of us for distance of about 100 feet and stopped. It rotated on its vertical axis and commenced forward heading away from us. When it rotated it difd so with precision. It traveled a short distance, stopped and rotated 90 degrees making a square and traveled past the tree line and we lost visual. The conditions were: clear night, temp was 75 degrees, wind 0-3 knots, range of 800 feet.

The entire duration of observation there was absolute silence except for some crickets.

Personal note: This observation was close and provided such unaided detail that I could see the edge of the vertical 'backboard' and could estimate its thickness to be approximately 8 inches thick. That craft being that close scared the heck out of us. I've worked in the military and commercial engineering field for overy 30 years, manned and unmanned and I know it's not terrestrial. They're definitely eatching us.

Fireball accross sky, clear day , no sound, then turned black and lost sight

Looked like a single fireball shooting across clear sky at 7:50pm on 07/02/08. Object was moving quickly, no noise and did not stop. Object moving from South West to North, West of 40.55’17.98 N / 73.00’20.54 W. Orange fiery color dissipated then lost sight in Tree line. Observed by wife, 2 children and myself.
